Alfred:
Good evening everyone and welcome to MODERN DAY MYSTICISM with Hans Christian King. Tonight is a very interesting topic - "The Possibility of Miracles". And what a wonderful time it is to start discussing miracles as Hans is so great about talking about bringing things into our lives. Without further ado, I present to you Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Good evening everyone. This is Hans Christian King. Welcome to the show this evening. Tonight's message, if you will, is exactly what Alfred said - "The Possibility of Miracles". Someone asked me a while back: Are miracles possible during times of lack? Oh, Heavens yes! In fact miracles shine brighter during times of lack. I have a dear friend, named Judy, and her license plate says: You Miracle. During times of lack is one of the few times we actually turn to Spirit and ask for miracles. During times of plenty, when everything seems to be going along fairly well, we don't bother to ask for miracles, because the appearance is we don't need them. And what we don't realize is the fact that we don't need them is the miracle.

Your connection with Spirit is always there. It only ebbs and wanes as you ebb and wane. Miracles, if you like to call them miracles, happen every day, all day. Let's say that you have to drive across town to your Dentist. On the way you pass many thousands of cars safely - that's a miracle. Every night that you go to sleep, you pray for unconsciousness, knowing that you will wake up in the morning. Although how that happens you don't know - that's a miracle. Flying across the country at 35,000 feet at 550 miles an hour and arriving safely in an aluminum tin can - that's a miracle. Every day, every day, you can count the miracles.

Awhile back Alfred was talking to you about the fact that he and I were busy running around catching miracles everyday. And that was true. We got so many miracles that we had to wind up asking them to turn off the bubble machine for a little bit so we could catch up with all the miracles they sent for us to do. Remember, lack is only an appearance. It really isn't true. You hear that? Lack is only an appearance, it's really not true. Lack is what your mind believes is happening, not what is actually happening. Have you ever noticed that how broke you get, somehow money arrives again? Have you ever noticed how sick you get with the flu, cold, whatever, have you ever noticed you get well again? Remember what I tried to teach you for all these years - that appearance is only passing through you. It is not your lifestyle, it is not where you're staying, pain, despair. The appearance of lack is replaced continuously in your life - there's another miracle. How many of you say: Oh, I don't know how I'm going to pay the rent this month, or I don't know how I'm going to pay the car payment, and somehow it gets paid. Do we ever stop for just a moment for just a moment and acknowledge the miracle that Spirit made to help you through?

There are going to be times in your life, in the appearance of lack, that things do not show up in your expectation. That is going to happen. But the fact that you are alive, the fact that you have options and choices is the miracle. You know children, sometimes we get slammed to the ground with what I call a trauma to the soul. And our heart if broken, and we're crying, and everything looks so bleak, and lack is everywhere...lack of joy, lack of hope, lack of the appearance of money. But all of those feelings, if you think about it, remind you you're alive.  And if you're wise you will know that no matter what the despair, no matter what the appearance, it will pass.

I once called a Wise Man that I know and his name is Ned. And something very awful had happened in my life and I was looking for him to fix it for me. And he wasn't being unkind, he was being a teacher, when he said: Hans, this will pass. I've got to go. And I thought, how cold, how unkind, how unfeeling. But he was right. He was absolutely right. Two days later it was all gone. It passed. So what I learned in the middle of the appearance of the disaster, if you could call what was going on for me, I had bought into the appearance of it. Forgetting all the while that it only came to visit me, it was only passing through, it wasn't going to stay so why should I spend all my time, you know, being upset about it.

I have a wise lady friend of mine who used to say when something incredible in appearance would happen to her, sort of a down-time thing, she would say: Um hmm, I wonder what I can make of this this time? I wonder what I can make of this this time? And she always came to the same conclusion: I can grow myself through this. I can look at this as a tragedy or I can look at it as an opportunity. There's the miracle. Children always remember that few things actually are as they appear. I know that sounds crazy to you, but it's true. Our perception tends to blow things out of proportion. Our perception tends to say that this is real, or that pain is real, or this is happening, when it's only an appearance. And if we say what my friend Alexandra used to say: Hmm, I wonder what I can make of this. I wonder how I can grow myself through this? She used to refer to being alive as "the human scene". "The big illusion of the human scene" is how she used to call it. She was an advocate of Joel Goldsmith, if any of you are old enough to remember Joel. And he talked about how we become victims of the human scene - how we get caught up in the appearance, and we forget that every day that we wake up, and we have these challenges is and of itself, a miracle.

I thank Spirit every night when I go to bed for the miracles that occurred in my life this day. And being in human form, and my staff with tell you I get crazy sometimes, and then I wind up giggling at myself remembering: Ah, you teach what you need to learn. Well, this happened today, so what am I going to learn from this? I have learned that my in my 68 years kids, that most appearances are illusions, most fears don't happen. We spend an enormous amount of time in our waking hours in our lifetime being concerned about illusions and about things that never benefit us.

I was giving a reading the other day to a lovely lady in London and she would not let Spirit fix her by explaining what was going on in her life. She kept saying: But this...but that...but what if this happens...what if that happens? And she so was caught up being a victim of the situation that she had lost all her sense of spiritual understanding and awares. And this was a young lady of 45 or 50 who taught this truth. But her relationship had said to her that morning: I don't think I can do this anymore. And she had no coping mechanisms in place for that situation.

You know, I have a friend that he used to say: You know Hans, relationships are like the subway, there'll be another one along here in 5 minutes. In other words, whatever your lessons is to learn through relationships, it will be presented to you. That's a miracle. Setting up housekeeping with someone who is opposite of you and you find a way to make it work, that's a miracle. Teaching a baby how to ride a bicycle, that's a miracle.

If we live in the possibilities of miracles. and don't live in the victimization of fear through illusion, our life takes on an incredible sense of wonder. Because no matter how difficult the lack may appear, remember always it has a corresponding opposite - that's how good you will feel, sad as you feel, how happy you will feel. Like a pen, I said this the other day, or a pencil - one writes on one end and one erases on the other. Everything in life, children, has a corresponding opposite. I repeat these truths through the years because we have a tendency when lack appears to forget our truth. Half the battle of spiritual growth alone is just trust...just trusting. Didn't somebody just write that 90% of success in life is showing up? It's true. Just show up! The worst isn't going to happen. The worst is that you believe it's true. Whatever the lack may appear as, half the battle of spiritual growth is to trust. And if you simply trust that no matter what is presented to you there's an answer, there is relief, it is growing to and through something... And sometimes you're in a relationship with someone and you love this someone to pieces, but you forget that this person came with their own baggage. They came with their own victimization. They came with their own lack. And you see this person and you love this person but every once in awhile their demons and their devils show up. Why, you think yours don't? But when you love someone you say: No matter what this appearance is, no matter how you're behaving, I see you you know. I see you. To me, that's the greatest statement you can ever say to another human being. I emailed James Cameron as a joke and said: You stole my line. I've been using that line for 45 years - "I see you".

Children trust in what you do not know. Trust in what you do not see. Every day. I don't quite remember, I don't quite remember what they said how many times, every day you trust the air, you breathe automatically without thinking a thing about it. You drive your car automatically without thinking a thing about it. You go to bed, you wake up, without thinking a thing about it. You don't go to bed  saying: Gee, I wonder if I'm going to wake up in the morning. You don't get in your car and say: Gee, I wonder if I'm going to have a bad accident today. You trust. You don't say I wonder if there's going to be any air for me to breathe today. I wonder if my heart will beat one more time. Trust in what you do not see. Trust in what you do not know. Because if you have a heart, a pure heart of trust, then you will know that whatever you will go through in your waking hours and in your bedtime hours, whatever you will go through, will always be to your highest good. Only the mind gets in there and messes with that reality. So having an understanding, having an awareness, that that God that loves you so unconditionally is always present, omnipresent in your life. The Spirit, the Messengers, the Angels - they're all there for you. Not lumping you into groups, not comparing you to others. Knowing full well that you're on a journey, you're on a mission. Knowing full well that their role is to walk “with” you, not “for” you. Knowing you have the ability to make decisions through a spiritual heart, not a mind that's filled with doubts and fears, but a spiritual heart.

My friend Alexandra used to say: No matter what shows up today I'm prepared for it because God is my champion. Spirit, they're my warriors. And I know they will turn the appearance of lack into the appearance into the miracles of opportunity and possibilities if I just believe. She's now 98, and she doesn't know who I am anymore. But if ever there was a champion in spirituality in my life, it was Alexandra. I have never known, nor I doubt will I ever know anyone who so lived their truth as she did. The mind, of course, has deteriorated due to dementia. And so she's walking in two worlds at one time now. But who she is is always in my heart. What she taught me, I can never ever forget. All of you will have an Alexandra at some point in your life. And even if from time to time you may disagree with what they say to you, remember Spirit helps us choose our friends to grow us. Spirit presents us with interesting possibilities through our friends, disappointments through our friends.

But the greatest gift that Spirit ever gave you in the appearance of lack, is the person looking back at you in the mirror. If you could simply take all the nonsense that's going on in your life, put it in a basket, put it in the garage and just say: From this day forward I am living a miracle. I have no lack. I am everything I need. Allowing Spirit to work on your behalf, allowing Spirit to open new doors. There are millions of miracles in your life waiting to occur. Lack is a refusal to accept miracles. The appearance of lack has nothing to do with money, children. Lack is a place in your heart that said I am not good enough for miracles. Therefore I will live in fear. Living in fear... I once told you that fear was it's own food. It creates lack on a daily basis. It creates lack from morning until night every single day of your life. The mind does not wake up in the morning for most people and say: You're enough for me today! We have no problems, we are a miracle, we expect miracles.  On the contrary it says: I wonder if I'll have the rent money. I wonder if he or she still loves me enough. I wonder if I'm going to get fired. I wondering if I'll ever get another job. None of the things I have just described, believe it or not, are of any importance in the long run.  All, children, the only thing that is important is the relationship to you and your God. That's it. There are no boundaries in that love. There are no victims in that love. There's only love in that love.

I have been accused from time to time as being simple minded or simplistic. I thank whoever started that rumor for me because I'll tell you what, I love my life and I love who I am. I love my intention. I love what I am doing. I'm not saying to you, beautiful people, that I am perfect. But I had a sign for many years on my refrigerator door at my home in Mexico that I loved. It said: I'm so far from perfect I'm pleased. Blue, see if you can take that and run with it, okay? (Hans laughing) I'm so far from perfect I'm pleased.

I have people in my life now... You want to talk about miracles? I have people who are listening tonight, making this broadcast possible, making the live streaming possible, the Facebook possible, people I don't even actually know...I've never met them. But their love and dedication to what, with Spirit, I'm trying to accomplish, what we're trying to say, has no bounds. It is amazing the beautiful people who have shown up. For those of you who are tithing to us so that we can produce these shows and the ministry, thank you, thank you, thank you, and you all know who you are. Sometimes I can't get right back to you, but please know you're in my heart and I thank you very much.

Tell Spirit the miracles you would like to see in your life and leave it alone. Remember to watch the mind chatter as it comes in and starts to play you up a bit. And it will do so. The mind is so fearful of a miracle that it continues to throw up the appearance of lack because it doesn't know what else to do. It would have no job if ever there was no need to worry. The mind would have no job because it doesn't have any congratulation skills. It doesn't have anything in its being that helps it to understand that it's nothing more than the opposite of God. The mind isn't fixated on the wonder of who you are, the mind isn't fixated on everything being okay. The heart-mind knows that. But we tend to, through the years, as the appearance of lack and tragedies and disasters in appearance occur in our life, it keeps reminding us: I told you so. I told you you weren't good enough.

Folks, there is oftentimes a situation where a person, sometimes in the humanness, is operated by two consciousnesses. Always go with the one that's in the light please. Never listen, never listen to the anger. Never listen to the fear. You know, the ugliest puppy deserves to be loved just as much as the prettiest puppy because there's absolutely no difference in the puppy's love. Sometimes situations do not appear to fit what you think is your modus operandi...how you would do things, or how you would be. But remember you haven't seen your dharma yet. You don't know what your soul chose to create. And sometimes the appearance of lack is nothing more than a lesson. And what is a lesson? A miracle waiting to happen. Because once you understand the lesson, the miracle occurs.

The burden, the pain... I was talking to a lady a couple of days ago and I believe she was out of Toronto. And she was angry, and she was resentful, and her husband had left her of 36 years, and all the terrible things that he was, and all of this and I said: Excuse me, are you saying that you regret having gone into the relationship? She said: It's the worst thing I ever did. I said: How many children do you have? She said: Four. Now, I said, are you resentful for being in the relationship. Oh my God, she said, maybe the relationship was between he and I to bring those angels on-board life. I said: You got it. And when that role was finished, there was no more purpose in the relationship other than to be friends, and to be a family for those four children. That's the miracle. You brought them on-board through heck or high water, you got them through, you got them up, you got them out, and they're good citizens. That is the miracle. But you're operating out of a place of lack. Woe is me, poor is me, oh look at my life, who's going to want me at 56? Who cares, I said. Who cares? You mean the only thing you have in life is validation from another person? Where's you? You've been married for 30 some years, I don't want you to have another relationship. And that's what Spirit said: We don't want you to have another relationship right now. We want you to have you. We want you to rediscover who you are. Let's bring you to you.

Sometimes children, sometimes when relationships no longer can survive or endure, we believe that something is terrible, something is wrong. The only thing that is wrong, that I know of, is when you start to throw stones and sticks at each other, rather than witness the wonder of what you had, regardless of whether you had good times or bad times, it was all mixed up. You had them both. Seeing your baby in that birth room for the very first time and you both start to cry. That's a miracle. Would you trade all of those miracles of the first step, the first tooth, out of your anger towards a partner that doesn't want to be with you anymore? Turn to that partner and say: Oh my God, thank you, thank you. And no matter how bad they're being, if they're fighting you for money, or support, whatever, say: Thank you for these children. Thank you for all the years we worked together. Because it's true. Do not be a victim of your own love. Bless the person, thank them, and move on.

The heart's a funny creature. It wants to keep calling up the invalidation. I have  been there, I know. But if you really think about it, would you have traded all the good times, would you have traded that experience for not having done the experience? I don't think so. There are times in our lives when we've taken up with somebody and said: Well, what did I do, take leave of my senses? (Hans laughing) But in the moment, it seemed liked the right and proper thing to do. Find the humor in it as I'm doing with you tonight. Find the humor...and say: Well... I once called my friend Ned and I told him about something and I said: I fail to understand what the lesson in this is. He says: Well, would you do it again? I said: No. He said: There's the lesson. He always taught me with very short, cryptic comments that were meant to grow me. One of the great lessons that Ned gave me, when I was in my 20's... We were to attend a meeting in San Francisco and as a young man of 22, 23 years old I thought I knew everything. We were walking up the court house steps to this meeting. He says: There's one thing I want you to do for me today. I said: Alright sir. He said: Shut up and listen. You don't have the answer Hans. Not yet. And I did. And when I turned my mind chatter off about how I thought the proceedings were going, it was amazing what I learned. So when you shut the mind chatter off, you'd be amazed at what you hear. You've heard me for years say: "You see what you look for you know". When you turn your mind chatter off in how it perceives things are that are appearing to you, you'd be amazed what you can see. There's the miracles.

So the possibility of miracles occur every day. The miracles are waiting to happen for you. Folks, I don't get you pep-talks, I give you spiritual wisdom. And maybe it's a spiritual pep-talk, who knows? But it's true. Miracles are waiting for you every single day. All you have to do - stop the mind chatter, stop listening to lack, stop being in lack, and let's see what happens for you. Alrighty, that's the lesson for this evening.

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to MODERN DAY MYSTICISM being broadcast on The World Puja Network. This is Alfred, assistant to the Modern Day Mystic himself, Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Good evening everyone. It is really wonderful to be with you. It's a beautiful day here. Actually it's coming into evening here in Asheville, North Carolina. The trees are all out, they're celadon green, and I would like to announce to everyone who's been asking me, yes, I did put roses in and yes, they are looking beautiful. Lots of comments from my folks back here.

For a long, long time there is one consistent thing that I have spoken to all of you about and I know you are tired of hearing it. That's a good sign! But are you listening to it? Can you hear it internally when I say: Of all the things that will destroy your joy and possibilities, it is your own mind chatter. Nothing else. No one's coming for you, no one's going to get you. That one statement, of all the things that will destroy your joy and possibility, it is your own mind chatter.

There is an excerpt in the book that we have coming out that Spirit gave to me many years ago that you should all write down and put on your refrigerator door, on your mirror, behind your front door so you can see it when you walk out, and it says: We live within the limitations of our own perceptions. These are not words, children. These are not simply words. They're spiritual awarenesses. These two  little statements that I have given you this evening that you've heard, some of you for decades... You see how I know when you don't listen to this when you ask me the same question again.

We live within the limitations, now that's the boundaries, of our own perceptions. And so I've been working very hard with you and with Alfred over the last several weeks to try to drive home an enlightening point for you. If you could just do one thing this lifetime to enlighten yourself, what do you suppose that would be? Don't listen to your mind chatter. It is what brings your dreams to a halt. It is what causes you to believe that you need to be fearful, something must be wrong.

I'm going to ask Alfred for a second here. Alfred, when did you notice that you were living within the limitations of your own perceptions? Was it when you came on board here?

Alfred:
I'll give you the same answer I gave you last week Hans.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
When those of us get to be to a point where we can do automatic writing, or channel our Guidance, or receive guidance from the Other Side, you first-hand get to read or listen to absolute truth. And when you compare that to your thoughts, what you perceive to be truth, what you think is true, what you're spending time on doing, you can no longer deny that what is between your ears is taking you in a place that is so small, so limited, so tiny, so minuscule...

Hans:
I hear what you are saying but the question to you is the following: You knew, and automatic writing was brought to you, what about the billions of people out there who don't have the luxury of that awareness? How can they hear these two statements? Where do they have to go within inside of themselves to hear this? Where do they need to understand that all their negative thinking destroys their life? Where do they need to go to understand that they're living within the limitations of their own perceptions? I understand what your remedy is and you're absolutely correct. But for the billions of people who don't have the luxury of your consciousness, how would they make their first step forward without the automatic writing and taking the Intuitive Development Class, because that's what people are going to want to know.

Alfred:
A lot of us are angry, mad. I'll ut it that way without coming up with any interesting words. And it's difficult to understand that we are the actual cause of our own anger. We love to blame other people for our anger, our disappointment, our sadness, it's their fault, they did this to me... That is a human perception. What we try to teach is that we are our own reason for being angry...

Hans:
We're our own limitation.

Alfred:
...for being sad, for being depressed. We, ourselves. Everything in spirituality is the opposite. The body, the mind says: It's out there, it's out there. Spirituality says: No, it's in here. It's what is inside of you is what is causing you your limitations, your sadness, your pain, your anger. And with this one realization, you can go in and start looking for what is causing me to be angry, what belief do I have, what perception do I have, what opinion do I have that is causing me to be angry, that is causing me to be sad? Is it really true that I am causing this upon myself?

Hans:
What I find, Alfred, is that people need to be okay in giving themselves permission to look beyond the boundaries of their limitations. What I have been trying to teach people, lo these many years, is to find a safe place within to say: Yes, I understand that, but I wonder what if. I wonder if there might be something else. And I believe that that one thing, if they can give themselves permission to see outside of the box, even though they don't have to jump out of the box, if they can just see outside of the box, I believe that opens an entirely new vision of possibilities for them. And that, of course, is why I've been teaching this for so long. Does that make sense?

Alfred:
It does, Hans.

Hans:
You see.

Alfred:
And a lot of the discussions that Hans and I have is not just simply that we come at things at two different perspectives. It's that this lesson can affect you no matter where you are in your spiritual growth. Hans likes to teach it, as he said, from a very beginner's perspective. Where would you actually start with this?

Hans:
Simple is best.

Alfred:
Simple is best. I like to look at this from say, more advanced perspective.

Hans:
That's why you were a banker.

Alfred:
Yes. But what we're trying to say is this is one of those fundamental lessons that no matter where you are in your spiritual growth... Because there's a little story that Hans and I like to teach that if you have a very big rock and you throw it into waves, there's 2 or 3 foot waves that are coming at you, and you throw huge rocks at those waves, it's really not going to matter much. But if you, say throw a tiny, tiny pebble into a clear, placid lake, even though you think that your mind is crystal clear, even though you may think you are very evolved in your spirituality, the slightest pebble will create ripples to the other side of the lake.

Hans:
Always.

Alfred:
And it may be something as simple as a thought.

Hans:
So what we're trying to teach you, what I have been teaching Alfred now, he is teaching his courses, what I've been teaching you is that you don't have to be a wizard in spirituality to find truth. Truth is always simplicity itself. Always remember that. So when you find your mind chatter running away with you, just running helter-skelter, remember to sit down and say to yourself: This needs to stop, in this moment I chose to be peaceful. Just peaceful. Making where you are in the moment nothing more than a lesson that you chose to learn, everything is fine.

I remember the anger and all the frustrations that Alfred went through. You want to talk about a madman loose in the world. Remember those days Alfred?

Alfred:
Oh yes. I was mad at everybody for all the things they did to me.

Hans:
That's right. He was an enormous victim of his history. And gradually, I watched him throughout the years bless this one, bless that one, and when they were called up for whatever reason, his anger had dissipated. And that's because he had grown past the need to hurt. And he began to look at things from both sides.

Remember, we view ourself in the world a certain way. We speak from behind the veil of who we are. And behind that veil is the spiritual self. So there's the world out there, there's you in the world out there, and then there is the spiritual you in here. You see? So when you reconnect with the spirit within, and shut off the mind chatter, everything gently and slowly begins to shift your perception. And as you shift your perception, the power that the mind has to create illusion, fantasy, fear, all of this, dissipates dramatically in the fear aspect. And possibilities then... Alfred likes to use the term - the big drum and the ocean. Well  if you start to let some of that oil out, it starts to rise back up to the top. So when you let the gunk out, the heaviness out of the mind chatter, then you float closer to the spiritual you.

Specific things that you should pay attention to, that run through your mind, are you sure that you want to let go of what you have? Now I like to use Alfred as a student to show you some of the ways he had his mind set. I have to tell you he had one of the most severe mind sets of anyone I've known in a long time.

Alfred:
I paid a lot of money for that mind set.

Hans:
I understand that dear friend. However, it just devastated him. He really was caught up in the illusion of Southern California. If any of you don't know what that illusion is, it's called fantasy land, and he was caught up in that, and he was speeding on the freeways, and all of this stuff.

Alfred:
Just think Hollywood.

Hans:
Yes. Same thing. He believed that. He would go out and meet people and they right away would say: What do you do? Rather than: Who are you? And you were judged by what you were doing, and I believe, Alfred, you were judged by  how much money you were making. So for him to even listen to when Spirit said to him: You must let go of this was... How did you handle that in the beginning when I said, you know you're going to have to let go of this stuff.

Alfred:
I thought he was crazy.

Hans:
(Laughing)

Alfred:
That's probably a nice way that I said it.

Hans:
Well those weren't the words you used. They were a little "flowerful"?

Alfred:
Yes. I had a lot of choice words back then that I used very freely. I don't know how Hans dealt with me at the time...

Hans:
Honest to God I don't know either. But he had one thing that all of you need to hear. Because all of you will need this one gem. Alfred had "intention" to look at why he was in pain, and he had intention to look at things that Spirit brought by him. He would pooh-phoo them at first, but then he would always come back: Well, what did you mean when you said that... What did you mean when Spirit said this or said that... His intention was to see outside of the box. You see? And that's why I want all of you to begin to look at the possibilities of seeing outside of the box, outside of the limitations.

Another one that will come up, if you go out there, in whatever out there is, just think what could happen to you. One of the things that Alfred said to me was: If I follow this path, you know I'll loose most of my friends. And that was true. What he didn't realize was the friends that he had were based on where he was at that time. Now he has a whole new set of friends. But the mind will say to you: Yeah, but what happens if you go out there? How can you trust anybody? What happens? What if?

And now I'm back at my friend and how did that affect you Alfred? He's looking at me like oh-whoa-whoa... I'll tell you how he did, he struggled. He struggled with who was he going to be without what he had already built. You see? That's the answer I'm looking for from him. How did he get there? I want to go back to something that I taught him to do. I said set your intention. Have no intention to harm anyone, have no intention to abandon anyone, allow the law of life to take care of that. And there was another one that comes up for all people: What if no one likes you? And I will say to you: What do you care? That's not your problem. That's their problem. Because you are a wonderful divine expression of the love of God in the human form. What you care what a neighbor or someone who works about you... That's why we have that wonderful saying in metaphysics that says: Not my problem.

And then there's this one thing that crops up for everybody. What if you are really not good enough? Now, I've taught you that that could never be true. There is no way that could be true. The Godforce, Spirit would never even look at that because they teach you: You already are enough. But the mind chatter is trying to convince you that you may not actually be quite good enough to get your dreams. Maybe you believe and you believe and you believe in Spirit and you believe in our work and all that... But somewhere deep inside of you, you think it may only apply to others, and not to you. Nothing, children, could be further from the truth. Nothing, because you already were born good enough. We've been dealing with this for sometime with you.

Here's one I just love. What if you fail? Excuse me, there is no such word in spirituality. There's no such word with the Godforce. Fail? That is impossible. That is a concept that was made up by humans, you see? Why do you think I'm so adamant against games - football, baseball, TV shows that have winners. Why? Because it teaches our children, number one-they might not be good enough because they lost, number two-they didn't try hard enough, number three-they failed. Isn't that a horrible, horrible word - failed? There is no degree of human awareness that would ever precipitate the world failure in spirituality - it's a non-word, it's a non-emotion. It is your mind chatter running amok with your human consciousness.

So what you want to hear instead is first sit down, calm yourself, know it's nothing more... When you're really running your crazies, when you're really upset, when you are really just going crazy, calm yourself and know it's only mind chatter - it is not true.

Alfred, I'd like to come to you on that particular one here. You always sort of ran on high octane, remember?

Alfred:
Um hmm.

Hans:
How did you... I used to say to you: I want you to have a whole day where you didn't touch a computer or an iPhone or anything that had a button on it.

Alfred:
I went insane.

Hans:
(Laughing) He really did guys, he really did. How did you get to a place where... You said to me once: I like this new schedule. I get the weekend off. I don't have to do anything... How did ever make that happen?

Alfred:
A lot of the way I managed to get Hans' lessons, regardless of how simple they seem...

Hans:
They're not simple, Alfred.

Alfred:
They sound simple, but implementing them in your life, following them on a daily basis is not so simple. They're easy for us to remember, but implementing them at the right time is another subject. Because first of all, you're taking this very simple thing and saying: Well, that's so simple. I've been doing this for 10, 20, 30 years. We're just going to keep continuing doing it this way. The first thing is to say: Okay, let's just try it. If it's so simple, let's just give it a go and see how it goes. If not, again, we've said this before, the worst thing is you can go back to the way you were doing it before.

Hans:
That's right. That's the worst that can happen to you.

Alfred:
Okay? So, what we say is just try to implement these things, these very basic teachings, on a daily basis, and then you'll see, hmm mm, there is a method to his madness.

Hans:
(Laughing) I had someone, Alfred, walk up to me at a presentation we were at recently and said to me: Hansy, I've been following you for 3 or 4 years now. You know, she said, I thought at the beginning your work was just simply too simple for me. I thought you had to strive, and you had to know all these fancy terms and work with all these fancy people and all that. And she said: What I found out was I couldn't even do the basics. And without the basics I could never work with other people. She said: So your lessons helped me to lay the foundation and that is what I'm trying to explain to Alfred who will build upon the foundation I have given him and put his own tweak on it. And my job has always been to simply say: Yes, you can. And no, you're not. But we have very little built in mechanisms from our peers, our parents, our schools, that look at you and say: Didn't you already know you were enough? Stop struggling. God loves you.

We have a society, right now, that is currently failing. And it's failing badly. We will pull through economically speaking, I'm not concerned about that, we always do. We're the largest economic engine in the world. We will  pull through. But I'm watching...I'm watching us tear ourself apart and that breaks my heart. But you don't need to be effected by that. Because once you operate in and with the Godforce, with spiritual power, none of that effects you. First calm yourself and know it's only mind chatter. Then pay attention to what your soul tells you. Now here I bring Alfred in.

Alfred:
And that's the hard part.

Hans:
How did you get to do that? What was the "click". I always talk to him about a "click". What clicked for you?

Alfred:
It's practice. This is spiritual practice. I don't think, from my perspective, there is a click. There is just an ever, so gradual strength that the more you practice calming yourself, realizing that it's just your mind, lowering the importance of what your mind says, raising the importance of what your soul tells you, raising the importance of listening to Guidance, it just happens on a day-to-day basis. It's like going to the gym. It is not one day you go to the gym and all of a sudden how much you can lift goes up 50 pounds. No, it's every day maybe you lift an extra 1 or 2 pounds, some days you lift 5 pounds less, some days you lift 5 pounds more. But it's just gradual. It's spiritual practice. And this is it. It's the practice of calming yourself. Realizing it's mind chatter and then saying: Okay, now let me pay attention to what's really important - what I need to strengthen, what I need to actually realize who I am is my soul. And that, in itself, is every part of spiritual practice. It's to go within, to strengthen your soul, no matter whether you're a healer, an intuitive, a waiter, a taxi driver, an engineer, a banker... That is what is you're to follow. That is the difference between being human and being spiritual. It's that practice.

Hans:
It is. And when you learn the value of simplicity itself, when you learn that something either is or is not, nothing is right, nothing is wrong, it simply "is". My students throughout the years, including Mr. Alfred, would always say to me: What do you mean there's nothing wrong? Look at the injustice. Look at all that's going on. Where is God? God is there. People choose not to love each other. People choose to make rules and laws for other people. People choose to disenfranchise people, to invade people, to shoot people... Where is God in that? God is not present. And that is the problem.

Calm yourself and know it's only mind chatter. Then pay attention to what your soul is telling you. Alfred, that will conclude the lesson for this evening.

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to MODERN DAY MYSTICISM being broadcast on The World Puja Network. Today's topic is: Soul Mate Family, Friends and Animals. And to discuss the infinite forms that soul mates come from, I present to you Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Good evening everyone. Welcome, welcome, welcome. We have a tendency to forget the value of the people who are presented to us for our lessons. Those come in many different kinds. They come in parents, lovers as friends, lovers as lovers. Even our little animal friends have agreed to come forward to help us to learn to love and to give unconditional love.

Most of the time we reincarnate with specific parents and soul mate friends because we find it easier to work with people that we've actually worked with and have known before. So what happens is that when we have that little rountable meeting that you've heard me discuss with you and someone who was your mother last time and you were the child says: Well, you know you didn't get the grasp of what I was doing, how about we reverse the roles? And you'll become the opposite of the last role that we had. And you'll say: Well why? And your Guides and Helpers say: Because you're looking at it from only one point of view. You see?

Let's take the lesson for all old souls - the lesson of self-esteem, for instance. We are presented with the lesson of self-esteem because as an old soul it is sort of in the end, it's sort of the last of the things that we have chosen to learn...not an easy subject, my friends. Not an easy subject. So we will have set in place a series of events that have a debilitating impact on the humanness of us. A parent may not ever say I love you. A parent may not be there. Just not show up or be working or gone all the time. A parent may not be able to see who you are to recognize the wonder of who you are and you're always searching, searching, searching, trying to get the parent to acknowledge the importance of you.

Why would we do that? Why would we put ourself in a situation where we couldn't be seen by the parents? We do so because our soul has chosen to arise above the appearance of humanness to be the essence of God in the form you are in at the moment in your evolutionary process. That just who you are...you've heard me say this forever now...just who you are is enough. Despite what a parent might say, or a boss might say, or anybody might say. So your job is to rise above that. And as much as you may love your parents, the fact that they can't get who you are is not your problem, it's their problem.

Now you've heard me say this many, many times and I know it always sounds like it's insulting, but it isn't. It is a truism: What someone thinks of you is none of your concern. What you think of what they think of you should be very much your concern. I have asked Alfred in the past to expound upon his parents, I have told all of you all of you what my situation was about a father who left when I was 4 or 5 years old and a mother who loved me, there was no doubt about that, had no idea who I was, absolutely no idea who I was. But that doesn't speak to the character of the person, it speaks to the pain of the child. The child doesn't know that it's set this lesson in place, and actually the parents don't know.

So one of the things that I say to parents these days: Take the time to find out who your child is. Not who you want the child to be. But who the child actually is. Because the child is the embodiment of the Godforce in human form. And attached to that form are a series of lessons that that child has chosen to learn. So it doesn't behoove you to be guilty because you might have said something, or might have done something. What you need to do to help the child advance is to recognize the child. Help the child become better than their current perception.

So we reincarnate with soul mate friends, soul mate lovers, soul mate animals,  based on what our soul has chosen to learn. You agreed in advance that your parents and friends would present karmic lessons to you. They don't know that, and you don't know that. But that's how it works. You can say to me: Oh Hansy, I would never have done that. I would never, ever have set that in motion. But you don't know that. You think you know that, but you don't. You don't know exactly what your lessons are. But if you watch yourself and you keep repeating the same lesson over and over and over...  Like how we choose our partners. If you find you're fishing in the same pond all the time, trying to get a different result, then you have a serious problem.

If you and your parents realize you and your children have karma with each other... Here we go again: You're not here by accident, you're in fact here by design...by design. So both parents and children have the same vested karmic interest in the lessons we have chosen to learn with each other. You see?

Now I know that my father loves me. And how do I know that? I know my father loves me because he came back to a very fine Medium one day in Asheville, North Carolina, and he said to me: Son, remember that your mother only has one side of the issue. There are in fact, two sides to the issue. And at that moment, I realized that my mother in her anger, her rage about my father, had started manufacturing things out of her subconscious mind that actually weren't true. So that helped to free me up to understand that my mother had a terrific lesson, I mean really a hard lesson, because she set that in motion and my father had agreed to do what he did, and I had agreed with my father that he would not show up in my life, and I had agreed that my mother would cause all this trouble... All that, you see...all that minutia made me who I am today.

So what you have to do is you have to look at where you came from, and if you're very clever, which you all are, you can watch the synchronicity as you move through your life. As a child you may have agreed to present your parents with lessons. I'm quite certain that I did. Both my parents. You did also. So as a child you have agreed to present your parents with lessons. And your parents have agreed to present you with lessons. As a parent, please look for ways that you might help your children along their path.

Alfred, I would like to bring you in here, and I'm going to just sit here, and I want you to tell the people how you navigated through that karmic situation with your parents.

Alfred:
Well that's a good one, Hans. That definitely is a, oh, I like to say a mind bender, when you start looking at karmic relationships from a human perspective because it's really difficult for the human mind to comprehend that children, for example, have a karmic obligation to present lessons to their parents. And that is really difficult to think: Okay, I can get the fact that as a child my parents have presented lessons to me, but at what point do I, as a child, turn around and present lessons to my parents, and what lessons are those things?

All of this, of course, is preordained, already agreed upon, and of course we have the wonderful part of nobody remembers anything that they agreed to. But it is part of the enlightenment process. It does become clearer the more spiritual you become, and it does help when you follow along your own path to really just go with the flow, not try to blame anyone, just simply say: I'm following a spiritual path and if my parents want to follow that path and they want to learn from it, great, if they don't want to learn from it, great. That's what I really got out of it.

Hans:
Was that difficult for you?

Alfred:
It was really difficult because you have to follow the lessons of having no expectations. And having no expectations of saving or helping your parents is extremely difficult. I think we get that issue in every single class we do.

Hans:
We do. It's just common.

Alfred:
When children wake up and they become spiritual and they become happy, they instinctively want to help their parents in the same way that they've been helped, and that's an investment, that's an expectation, and it's incredibly hard not to have an expectation that your parents are going to understand you, what you're doing, or that they're going to want what you have. However, it's you job to present what you're doing. It is not your job to have an expectation that they're going to learn from it.

Hans:
I have a question for you. I know how difficult your childhood was. In the process of coming out of the old awareness into the new awareness, what did you do with the anger?

Alfred:
That's part of the spiritual growth is as you let go of your past, of illusions, of opinions, the anger goes away instinctively. The anger is just a by-product of hanging onto the past. And once you let go of the past, the anger goes away. It's the same thing we used to say in the classes that: If you're standing in front of a fire, you can pour water over your head until kingdom come, and you're still going to be hot. What we say is: Pour water on the fire and then you won't be hot anymore.

Hans:
(Laughing) And then you'll be fine...exactly.

Alfred:
So you deal with the root cause of the symptom. The symptom is that you're angry. What is the root cause? My parents abused me. I'm an abused child. Well, I'm sorry those are past events. That's your opinion of a past event, and if you just let that go and live in the now, you won't be angry. And that's easier said than done.

Hans:
Well, I think for all of us, even for those of us who follow a spiritual path, I think it's still hard to deal with the inner child, and soothe that child. We might be able to rationalize, Alfred, that this is what we should do, and there's a reason for all of this. But there still is a little wounding in the child, no matter what happens. That's for you, for me, for just about anybody listening to the show tonight. You make the pain okay. It's okay. It's alright. And I know with you Alfred, if I say to you the plate is hot. What will you do?

Alfred:
I'm going to touch it.

Hans:
There you go. That's what I'm getting at.

Alfred:
I love that. It drives Hans crazy.

Hans:
(Laughing) It drives people in restaurants crazy that are trying to serve him. And they're saying: Hot plate! He'll pick it up anyway...

Alfred:
Well I've learned not to pick it up, I just touch it a little... Nothing like a little pain to wake you up.

Hans:
Oooohhhh!

Alfred:
Yes.

Hans:
You got it!

Alfred:
Yes.

Hans:
You see? Nothing like a little pain to wake you up.

Alfred:
And that's what we try to teach people is when you feel a symptom, look for the root cause of the symptom. It's not: Okay, I'm aggravated, let me go to the Gym. I'm aggravated, let me have a drink or do something else. I'm aggravated, let me do meditation. No. What we try to teach is that if you're aggravated, what is the button that somebody pushed that triggered that aggravation? Look at that root cause and I guarantee you it has nothing to do with being in the moment.

It's either: I'm frustrated, I'm not where I should be in the future, I'm aggravated because something happened...

Hans:
I don't have as much money as I thought was going to have...

Alfred:
I don't know what you're talking about...

Hans:
(Laughing) I know you well.

Alfred:
Yes. So it's looking for the root cause of the aggravation. Yes, you can do it in meditation. But it's getting at the root cause of it and a lot of what we're trying to explain in this soul mate topic has to do with a lot of the things that you have an opinion that are negative, or hurtful, or painful, really aren't. They're actually lessons that you requested people present you with.

Hans:
Yes. You hit upon that and I think it's really, really important. You simply can't blame others for your pain. We all want to do this. We all want to believe our parents did this to us, or our husband or our wife did that to us in the divorce... We all want to blame, blame, blame. But what we forget is - we set it in place.

The main lessons of this soul mate topic are, for instance, don't blame others for painful relationships. Know how much you love them. But also, how much you will not allow them to put guilt upon you. That's a very big lesson because that guilt is put there deliberately to demean you. It is put there deliberately to demean you because you chose for it to be put there. Your job is to turn to anybody who demeans you and say: Excuse me. That is only your interpretation of who I am. My interpretation tells me I'm wonderful and my God loves me. They have no comeback for that.

Be grateful, be grateful that you have had all these lessons come into your life because one day, one day when you make that transition...one day, as I like to say when you fall off your perch... One day you'll be able to look back with a bunch of friends and loved ones and see this last episode of your incarnation cycle and say: By golly, here's what I wanted to do and this is what I left having learned. And then your soul soars.

Sometimes I have to say to people very difficult things. I remember when Alfred was getting started, he just fought me tooth and nail, thinking he had the answer. And time after time after time, Spirit proved he did not. That is was nothing more than a lesson.

So what I want you all to hear is there is no way you should ever be so angry with anyone that you lose your self-awareness, that you lose your spiritual being. There should never be a time in your life when lessons are so strong that you want to give up. Because the truth of the matter is you put them in place. And the wonderful thing about it is once you really begin to understand: Oh, I see there's a continuity in what I'm doing, I keep repeating the the same things over and over again. Why are you doing that? What is going on for you that you continue to do this? Time in, time out, over and over and over. It is because you have not learned the lesson of the lesson. You have not gotten the value. But the moment you get the value, it's like this great weight is suddenly removed from you. Relax children. Soul mate friends, soul mate animals, are there for you to also have fun with, and provide unconditional love.

How many of you today emailed someone that you think may be feeling alone and wished them Happy Valentines Day? I did that this morning. I sent out Valentines to people I know happen to be by themselves right now. Think, everyone of you, send one person, even though it's late, send one person a Valentines Greeting. Just a kind word, that's all. And watch how much better you feel for doing that. It will help change your life.

Alright Alfred that concludes the lesson for this evening.

Alfred:
Welcome to GUIDANCE FOR YOUR LIFE - Wisdom for Your Soul. I'm Alfred the Padawan to the Modern Day Mystic himself Hans Christian King. Say Hi to everyone Hans.

Hans:
Hello everyone. Welcome, welcome to the show, welcome to the class.

Alfred:
And we're going to see if we're going to be transferring the show from audio only to video. So we'll see what happens. Let's go over our Housekeeping for the show, as always. The Announcements for this week is there is going to be a replay of Transform Your Life By Changing Your Intentions on the Your Life Without Limits Tele-seminar. That replay is going to start on September 26. That and all the other replays we always announce on Facebook.

And we're ever so grateful if you are "following" us. If you're not "following" us, please go to Hans Christian King1 or go to HansKing.com and look for the Facebook link and "follow" us. Not only do you get to find out when there are going to be Interviews, you're also signing up to get a Daily Quote that comes directly from Hans himself.

And of course, we sincerely appreciate everybody who "follows" us and "shares" what we do on Facebook and Social Media. We're posting through Facebook; we're tweeting. Hans is actually tweeting on his own, specifically through Twitter once in awhile. So if you're RT (re-tweeting) or "sharing" on Facebook, we sincerely appreciate it and we are continuing with our Random Acts of Kindness. If you share what we do, we may pick you to get classes, audio or other goodies to share the good karma. Okay? I think that's pretty much it for the Announcements.

So onto this topic. Our topic for this video is Soul Mate Relationships Part 1 - "Understanding Your Own Soul". Soul mate relationships are agreements between two souls. If you want a great soul mate relationship, make sure you're able to hold up your side of the bargain. It's difficult to have a strong relationship with other souls until you have a strong relationship with yourself. So Hans, let's start with the basics of "you"..."the soul". Can you help people understand that they are a "soul in human form"?

Hans:
Well certainly, Alfred. Thank you. One of the things that I like to remind people, that Spirit reminds me...they love saying this: We're just baby angels having a human experience. We are not the body. We are not the mind. We are simply Spirit. And when we begin to understand that... I think it's crucial for you to know that you can't have a relationship...a meaningful, powerful relationship, unless you have something to bring to the relationship. This is important. So many people look to others to define who they are. "I'm looking for my other half" or "I'm looking for my better half".

One has to realize that just who you are in this moment is all you will ever need to be. It is "perfect". No one can make you better than you are. That's simply an Old Wives Tale. Because Spirit did not make a mistake when you were created. If you are going to participate in a soul mate relationship, it takes two souls of equal power. You have your power, they have their power, and you come together in a way that you share your gifts with each other, and with those that you love.

So soul mate relationships... In order to have a soul mate relationship, you yourself have to have a relationship with yourself. You've often heard me say Dr. James Allen's famous saying: They themselves are makers of themselves. It's very important that these little things that I say like that go home to your heart. Because what you have to understand is no other episode, no other person, is going to make you complete. That is impossible.

Alfred:
And that's a good summary of this session. Part 1 - "Understanding Your Own Soul" and the importance of your own soul in soul mate relationships. Here's some examples of what Hans is talking about...some internal soul problems that maybe you want to take a look at if you're looking for a soul mate relationship. What we're saying is "go inwards first".

For example, Hans, are people drawn to the same type of problematic relationships?

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
Can you give an example of what that's like.

Hans:
Well, in relationships we already have a set karma/dharma that we wanted to work on. If we wanted to work on personal self-esteem, we might actually continue to create relationships that actually invalidate us. If we wanted to work on being good enough, we'll attract people that put us down. So it's important to remember, that what we said earlier, is that we have to arrive at relationships as  equals.

Now if you keep attracting the same relationship over and over and over again, it says you're not learning the lesson. I've had many clients who have literally had the same relationship 4, 5, 6 times with different people. Because their expectations remain the same. They never change. They want the person to be a certain way, to do a certain thing, to be treated a certain way... When they don't realize that already who they are is enough. But they have such little self-esteem sometimes that what happens is that they don't believe they're enough. And this can really affect your ability to have a loving relationship.

Alfred:
And another issue...this is a really big one with the clients that we have internally  as a soul...and these issues really do cover up the loving soul that you are. For example, do you have issues with your parents? How often does that come up Hans?

Hans:
Well, we're going to be dealing with this as we go through this class but it's huge, Alfred. It's really huge. Because it's some of the very first "learning's" that we ever allow into ourself is the judgments, or the love, or the criticism, or the acceptance, of our parents. Okay? So it's really important to understand that we are products of our humanness if we're not careful.

If you tell a child, for instance, that when they're born that they can first start to understand how perfect they are, if you tell them how wonderful they are, if you tell them that just who they are is enough and God loves them just that way, you're going to wind up with a very balanced adult. On the other-hand, if you're born into a situation where you've chosen self-esteem as the primary lesson, then you will feel a sense of rejection, you will feel that nobody understands you, and you will line yourself up for the relationships that will absolutely invalidate you.

So your job, literally, is to catch yourself and say: Wait a minute. That's not what I signed on for. That's not who I am. Who I am is this baby angel that God loves so much.

Alfred:
And we're just continuing on this theme right now of "why" having a stable relationship with yourself is so important to start. This is just an awareness.. For example, are you a victim? Are you bringing that victim role to your relationships?

How many clients have you had Hans that have been victims?

Hans:
Thousands...thousands. I had two today. Thousands of people are victims of their history...their human history. Victims of false perceptions, victims of not really understanding the whole picture, and then having the mind chatter invalidate or cause problems. The mind literally works overtime in its attempt to disengage you from your spiritual essence, your soul, your heart's lesson. It works overtime in trying to create drama, guilt. It works overtime trying to make you less than you are. So that you become so dependent on the mind chatter that the heart and the soul have no place to speak, hear, or feel.

So it's important that we learn, early days, and you can learn that all of your life, it doesn't matter how old you get, you can still learn this lesson: You are already enough. Okay?

Alfred:
And here's a good one Hans. How many times have you heard people blaming God for their problems, been blaming God for the life that they have?

Hans:
Well that's very convenient because that way you don't have to take responsibility. You can become a victim of a situation and people will feel sorry for you and again you don't have to even worry about it because you are not being responsible because it's not your fault. And as long as you continue to do that, you will never learn the lesson.

Alfred:
And what we're trying to communicate here is that in order to be a good soul in a soul mate relationship, what we want you to do is find your peace, your happiness, joy, bliss, by starting inside yourself. Okay? And what we're going to do is outline two different steps right now to help you to get to that inner love, that inner peace, that connection to your own soul, to start the relationship with your own soul, to form the relationship with your own soul, so that when you get to a soul mate relationship with others, you show up as a soul, not as trauma, not as your history, not as things that you think that happened to you. But instead you show up peaceful, happy.

The first step, and this is the basis of Hans King's teachings, is to remove the "junk" inside your mind. Otherwise known as mind chatter. Hans, walk us through very quickly how getting rid of mind chatter can help you form a relationship with yourself, your soul.

Hans:
The mind chatter is the filter by which you view the world. So the mind chatter has the judgment of everything that it sees, that it hears, that it feels. The mind chatter always reminds you that you're not quite enough. And as long as you allow the mind chatter to do this... People say: Well I'm helpless. I can't help what the mind chatter's going to say...

The other day we did a show Alfred, as you remember, and we said that: Fear and Doubt can only live in the house you build. Remember, all that's going on in your mind is attached to a house you built. You were not born this way. This is not a "naturalness". This is something that you applied at some point along the way because as children we tend to believe what our parents tell us, what society tells us, even though it's not true. And it's only when we begin to question, and we say wait a minute, that doesn't feel right to me.

Alfred, you're very big on feelings, telling people how to "try this feeling", "try that feeling". It's very important, Alfred, for people to understand that the mind chatter is not the most important thing in their life. It's the least important thing in their life. Their humanness, their attachment, their connection to God, is of paramount importance.  And at any stage of the game, anywhere along the way, you can literally change your mind's perception.

Alfred:
And that is a pretty good overview about the first steps in how to uncover your soul, unburden your soul, so that when you walk into a soul mate relationship it's actually you, the soul, not your perceptions, your opinions, your expectations, your trauma.

This is a very quick overview of the two different steps. We're just talking about step one right now. We'll be getting into these exercises of letting go of mind chatter, psychic development, letting go of all these things in a little more detail. Right now we're just making you aware of what is so important in soul mate relationships.

The second step that we're going to be walking you though is how to build your own self-esteem, how to love yourself, how to realize you are enough. Why is that so important when forming a relationship?

Hans:
Because all of what you just said, so rightfully so, all of that comes out of the mind chatter. It doesn't come out of the soul. It doesn't come out of the spiritual heart. No Godforce is telling you that. Spirit isn't telling you that. You are actually telling yourself something that is a lie, that it is not true. And once you begin to really understand: Wait a minute, my mind's telling me things that aren't true.

For instance, the mind will constantly warn you what "could" happen, what "might" happen...constantly. When you finally understand that it's not telling you the truth, yet you're reacting to it continuously... I have a dear client that I received information from today and this poor thing has worried about her house being sold, worried about getting a house, how all of this was going to happen... And Spirit's advice to her, continuously along this path was: Follow your heart.

And when you understand that by following your heart, the Spirit is holding that heart in their hands and they will open the doors for all that you need, all that you require, when you stop listening to the mind chatter. Because the soul cannot operate with the Spirit when you are busy occupying that place with mind chatter.

Alfred:
How about loving yourself first Hans. Why is loving yourself so important?

Hans:
Because it's all you have Alfred, basically. You don't have anything else. You don't own any part of the body, including the mind chatter. The love of yourself is the greatest gift you give to yourself.

You know we have a product out there called "You Are Enough". And in the opening it says: What if you discovered that tomorrow morning there was nowhere you needed to go, nothing you needed to do, no one you needed to become, nothing you needed to learn... That who you were in that moment was enough for God. I said that on The Allen Cohen Show and he said: My God, what a concept.

You already are enough. And we're so invested, Alfred, in how we look, how we dress, the makeup we put on, the clothes we wear...I mean it's just unbelievable. The houses we live in, the cars that we drive. All this in an attempt to make us better. And that breaks Spirit's heart because they already made you perfect. You were perfect when you were born, you are perfect now. So giving yourself the gift of that awareness, that you already are enough, will change your life.

Alfred:
And these two steps that we're talking about - Step 1: Removing the "junk", removing the mind chatter and then Step 2: Of loving yourself. Realizing you're enough. Building your spiritual self-esteem. They help each other. The more mind chatter that you let go of, the more you're able to build your self confidence. The more you let go of trauma and your past, the more you're able to love yourself in the moment.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
And we're going to be going through these two steps in much more detail, giving you more exercise in the upcoming lessons. But we wanted to, at least, get the point across that the most important soul in any soul mate relationship is you.

Hans:
Alfred, I received an email today from one of our Spiritual Circle Members who said that after a year he finally got it. And he said he woke up this morning and all the weight from all the fear and the doubt and the money stuff and the relationship stuff...all the stuff that he had created through the mind chatter had vanished because he had turned his life over to Spirit. He said this morning it felt like a giant weight had been lifted off of him.

And that's what I want our dear friends out there to understand that you can, absolutely, without fail, lift all of the sadness, all the despair, all the loneliness, attract to you the perfect partner, attract to you the abundance that you seek. All of that is already there, and the only person who's blocking that is you. So giving yourself you, giving yourself the love of you, is the greatest gift you will ever give yourself.

Alfred:
Well Hans that pretty much wraps up Part 1 of Soul Mate Relationships. Anything you want to add just to wrap that up?

Hans:
Yes. Everyone can do this. This isn't reserved for enlightened people. Everyone can learn to go to the mind chatter and close the door. That's going to be the key for this week. Close the door to the mind chatter and watch and see, Alfred, how peaceful people become. This is going to be paramount and I look forward to continuing this class next week.

Alfred:

Thanks everyone for joining us in Part 1 of Soul Mate Relationships. Stay tuned for Part 2.
