Topic: Communicating With Spirit
August 8, 2015

HANS:
The topic for today is "Communicating With Spirit: Intuitive Development."  Hello everyone. Welcome, welcome. What a beautiful day. I'm just looking out my windows here at all the beautiful trees. I have Pine Trees, Birch Trees, Ash Trees, Poplar Trees... You name it, it's out here. A wonderful day today here in Asheville, North Carolina.

I've been getting a few questions from people who say: How do I know what kind of gift I have? Well as most of you know, there's the ability to be clairsentient. There's the ability to be clairvoyant... clairaudient... some of you have healing energies... some of you have a combination of all of these. So let's talk about the first one - clairsentience.

Clairsentience is an ability to receive information from The Other Side without necessarily seeing it or hearing anything. And I've often said some of the greatest Mediums I have even known, never saw anything, never heard anything. But they have what we call "a quiet knowing" or "a quiet understanding." Now Alfred had that in the beginning and he was able to develop that and he's still doing so. Almost everyone, at some level, is clairsentient.

ALFRED:
Yes. Everyone has the ability to receive information from Spirit. At least on a clairsentient level. What that means is that you can interpret the frequency and vibration and the energy of Spirit. Some call it a gut feeling, some call it woman's intuition, sometimes you've said I just feel I should do this or say that. That is clairsentience. Everyone has that. The question is whether or not you pay attention to it.

HANS:
Now, in the classes that we give on-line and in-person, one of our jobs is to help you to understand the call signs for what you do have. And many of you, I'm very delighted to say, have begun to work with your clairsentient abilities, begun to help open some doors for you. And this really makes a difference when you get an impression and then you follow through with the impression. And you say: Oh my gosh, I knew that. I don't know how I knew it, but I knew it.

I'd like to talk a little bit longer about what are the possibilities in being clairsentient. And one of the possibilities is to walk with your hand holding Spirit. In other words, to believe that you are being given and fed information... not questioning it whatsoever... just knowing it. And when you do that, your broad-band of your intuitive development center opens wider. And speaking of broad-band... Alfred?

ALFRED:
So what we're trying to say is has to do with Trust, Faith, and Belief. Trust that what is coming through is actually for you. Faith that there are people above you watching over you that are there for your highest good. Belief that you can actually receive information from your Guidance. The more that you surrender into those, the more you will be able to use your clairsentient abilities.

HANS:
And the big lesson in this is Trust and Belief. If you continue to look for what you think you had you're going to block it from coming in. Your job is to "know" you have never not been disconnected. Never. You can never be disconnected from Spirit. That's impossible.

So when you begin to say: Oh, I already am connected. I'm just learning how to work with this connection. The doors open even wider. Being clairsentient means: I believe, I trust. How did that work for you in the beginning, Alfred?

ALFRED:
It was pretty scary.

HANS:
Yeah.

ALFRED:
It was really scary when you first start trying to believe that there is something that you can understand... that you've never read, that you've never talked about, that you never studied, that you never learned, you've never watched on television, but all of a sudden this information comes to you. That really scares the heck out of your brain.

HANS:
It does. The brain doesn't know how to deal with it. The brain knows how to deal with what it calls a "known." But an "unknown" is another matter entirely. So folks, if you feel that you are clairsentient, then your job is to work on your belief system. That's going to be the key here, to grow that. Working on the belief system.

ALFRED:
So onto the next topic. Let's get over to more mediumistic skills. Clairsentience is more of a psychic skill. Psychics interpret the energy and the vibration of Spirit, of Guidance. More mediumistic skills, the first one is clairvoyance – is the ability to receive images from The Other Side.

HANS:
Now, if you're clairvoyant, which so many of you are, you would have, since childhood, gotten little flashes of wisdom... little pictures... little quiet understandings. And those things tended to happen. They tended to come true. You may have seen shadows. You may have seen misty clouds. Those are all part of the development of intuitive aspects of your body.

Spirit, in the beginning, has to readjust the electromagnetic energy in your system in order to become more in-line with their energy. So, as you raise your vibration, their job is to lower theirs. Okay? Until you get somewhere in the middle where it makes it easier to communicate. And that's exactly what happens is we teach you how to get in-line with spiritual vibration.

One of the things that I think is very important is that you not try so hard. Have a quiet knowing that you're clairvoyant and The Spirit is working with you. But when you sit real hard and you try to manifest something or see something, you really lose the value of the natural flow of the energy. Alfred, any comments?

ALFRED:
With all spiritual practices, your first job is to surrender, is to let go, is to be a blank slate. And to wait for something to come "to" you. It's not your job to go out and get the images. It's your job to be calm, to be peaceful, to be in a meditative state, and wait for Spirit to give you information.

In this place, you're waiting for them to give you a picture. Now it's very, very important during the development of your clairvoyance is to explain to The Other Side when you get something. To say: I see red... I see blue... I see pink. A lot of times our students start out by seeing just a single color.

HANS:
Yes. Oftentimes a color or a shape. A lot of times people will see circles or squares or again a puff of smoke. These are all indications that you are operating closer and closer with The Spirit. I used to tell these things to Alfred and he used to say I was not playing with a full deck. Now he doesn't say that anymore.

ALFRED:
So as you're developing your clairvoyance, you need to communicate with The Other Side what you're getting. And the more you tell The Other Side what you're getting, the more They can say: Okay, let's try to work in a similar way and the more detailed the pictures will become.

HANS:
Absolutely. So just know that yes you can. Yes you can. It's a matter of working hard at it and accepting it. And we teach you all these things on our website and in all the classes that we do. Now the next thing I'd like to talk about is one that's been very dear and near to my heart for years and that's clairaudience.

Clairaudience is the ability to actually hear The Spirit, hear voices. Sometimes people say: Well I hear like when I walk into a certain room in my house... or I walk down the hallway, I can hear a little rustling sound or I hear what I think are voices... very muted, very muffled. What is that? You're passing very, very close to what I call a little vortex in spiritual energy that allows you to actually hear that.

That's a very good sign for those of you who are developing your clairsentient abilities. Many times, many times, you'll hear your name called. Alfred, the other day you heard you name called I think.

ALFRED:
As clear as a bell. I thought it was Hans calling my name.

HANS:
Once that process begins, over time, The Spirit begins to open the door if They see the person is not being frightened by the event. They open the door to help that person to develop their clairaudience.

So these three things that we're talking about today are all handled in our Intuitive Development Class.

ALFRED:
Yes. But one thing that we try to explain to you in the Class, and we're just giving you a little tidbit here, is everyone is clairsentient. Everyone can receive vibration, energy, guidance from Spirit. Some people are clairvoyant and can receive pictures. Mediumistic skills that we're talking about here, such as the ability to "hear" The Other Side are reserved for Royalty... Great Masters...

HANS:
(Laughing)

ALFRED:
So if you're hearing voices, that's actually really good.

HANS:
That's a a really good sign. And some people, like we say, are possessed of all three. But they don't know and psychiatrists tend to call it crazy.

ALFRED:
And we're trying to telling you that's a really great thing.

HANS:
Congratulations is what we're trying to say.

ALFRED:
You can actually have communication with The Other Side as if you're having communication with someone here. And what we're trying to say here is communication, it is a two-way communication, in all three types of ways that we're reviewing. Especially in clairaudience, it's not just about "hearing," it's about your ability to speak back with The Other Side.

HANS:
I had a very interesting question come in the other day. Does your environment... can it hinder or help your development? The answer to that is: Yes. If you live in a very stressful city in a very stressful place, then you need to turn your home into a sanctuary or a room into a sanctuary where peace is what you hear. Having a water feature, for instance, a little fountain which you can even produce on your computer to drown out background noise is important.

I used to have a very large group and we had always sat with a water feature because it was in the business section in Los Angeles and another one in the Bay Area. And it harmonizes better. So try to find a safe place. So for those of you who live in a big, bustling city, don't think you can't do this. You can, but with certain little preparations.

The biggest thing we hear, where we live, are the birds. Alfred's birds. He feeds the birds. Last night Alfred was blessed to have seven raccoons on the deck. And the raccoons are now are so big that they can't get through the slats on the deck. They have to climb over the deck.

ALFRED:
They're very well fed.

HANS:
They eat better than he does, let's put it that way. Okay?

Alrighty, I think that will conclude the lesson for today.

Topic: The Possibility of Miracles
November 2, 2014

Alfred:
Good evening everyone and welcome to MODERN DAY MYSTICISM with Hans Christian King. Tonight is a very interesting topic - "The Possibility of Miracles". And what a wonderful time it is to start discussing miracles as Hans is so great about talking about bringing things into our lives. Without further ado, I present to you Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Good evening everyone. This is Hans Christian King. Welcome to the show this evening. Tonight's message, if you will, is exactly what Alfred said - "The Possibility of Miracles". Someone asked me a while back: Are miracles possible during times of lack? Oh, Heavens yes! In fact miracles shine brighter during times of lack. I have a dear friend, named Judy, and her license plate says: You Miracle. During times of lack is one of the few times we actually turn to Spirit and ask for miracles. During times of plenty, when everything seems to be going along fairly well, we don't bother to ask for miracles, because the appearance is we don't need them. And what we don't realize is the fact that we don't need them is the miracle.

Your connection with Spirit is always there. It only ebbs and wanes as you ebb and wane. Miracles, if you like to call them miracles, happen every day, all day. Let's say that you have to drive across town to your Dentist. On the way you pass many thousands of cars safely - that's a miracle. Every night that you go to sleep, you pray for unconsciousness, knowing that you will wake up in the morning. Although how that happens you don't know - that's a miracle. Flying across the country at 35,000 feet at 550 miles an hour and arriving safely in an aluminum tin can - that's a miracle. Every day, every day, you can count the miracles.

Awhile back Alfred was talking to you about the fact that he and I were busy running around catching miracles everyday. And that was true. We got so many miracles that we had to wind up asking them to turn off the bubble machine for a little bit so we could catch up with all the miracles they sent for us to do. Remember, lack is only an appearance. It really isn't true. You hear that? Lack is only an appearance, it's really not true. Lack is what your mind believes is happening, not what is actually happening. Have you ever noticed that how broke you get, somehow money arrives again? Have you ever noticed how sick you get with the flu, cold, whatever, have you ever noticed you get well again? Remember what I tried to teach you for all these years - that appearance is only passing through you. It is not your lifestyle, it is not where you're staying, pain, despair. The appearance of lack is replaced continuously in your life - there's another miracle. How many of you say: Oh, I don't know how I'm going to pay the rent this month, or I don't know how I'm going to pay the car payment, and somehow it gets paid. Do we ever stop for just a moment for just a moment and acknowledge the miracle that Spirit made to help you through?

There are going to be times in your life, in the appearance of lack, that things do not show up in your expectation. That is going to happen. But the fact that you are alive, the fact that you have options and choices is the miracle. You know children, sometimes we get slammed to the ground with what I call a trauma to the soul. And our heart if broken, and we're crying, and everything looks so bleak, and lack is everywhere...lack of joy, lack of hope, lack of the appearance of money. But all of those feelings, if you think about it, remind you you're alive.  And if you're wise you will know that no matter what the despair, no matter what the appearance, it will pass.

I once called a Wise Man that I know and his name is Ned. And something very awful had happened in my life and I was looking for him to fix it for me. And he wasn't being unkind, he was being a teacher, when he said: Hans, this will pass. I've got to go. And I thought, how cold, how unkind, how unfeeling. But he was right. He was absolutely right. Two days later it was all gone. It passed. So what I learned in the middle of the appearance of the disaster, if you could call what was going on for me, I had bought into the appearance of it. Forgetting all the while that it only came to visit me, it was only passing through, it wasn't going to stay so why should I spend all my time, you know, being upset about it.

I have a wise lady friend of mine who used to say when something incredible in appearance would happen to her, sort of a down-time thing, she would say: Um hmm, I wonder what I can make of this this time? I wonder what I can make of this this time? And she always came to the same conclusion: I can grow myself through this. I can look at this as a tragedy or I can look at it as an opportunity. There's the miracle. Children always remember that few things actually are as they appear. I know that sounds crazy to you, but it's true. Our perception tends to blow things out of proportion. Our perception tends to say that this is real, or that pain is real, or this is happening, when it's only an appearance. And if we say what my friend Alexandra used to say: Hmm, I wonder what I can make of this. I wonder how I can grow myself through this? She used to refer to being alive as "the human scene". "The big illusion of the human scene" is how she used to call it. She was an advocate of Joel Goldsmith, if any of you are old enough to remember Joel. And he talked about how we become victims of the human scene - how we get caught up in the appearance, and we forget that every day that we wake up, and we have these challenges is and of itself, a miracle.

I thank Spirit every night when I go to bed for the miracles that occurred in my life this day. And being in human form, and my staff with tell you I get crazy sometimes, and then I wind up giggling at myself remembering: Ah, you teach what you need to learn. Well, this happened today, so what am I going to learn from this? I have learned that my in my 68 years kids, that most appearances are illusions, most fears don't happen. We spend an enormous amount of time in our waking hours in our lifetime being concerned about illusions and about things that never benefit us.

I was giving a reading the other day to a lovely lady in London and she would not let Spirit fix her by explaining what was going on in her life. She kept saying: But this...but that...but what if this happens...what if that happens? And she so was caught up being a victim of the situation that she had lost all her sense of spiritual understanding and awares. And this was a young lady of 45 or 50 who taught this truth. But her relationship had said to her that morning: I don't think I can do this anymore. And she had no coping mechanisms in place for that situation.

You know, I have a friend that he used to say: You know Hans, relationships are like the subway, there'll be another one along here in 5 minutes. In other words, whatever your lessons is to learn through relationships, it will be presented to you. That's a miracle. Setting up housekeeping with someone who is opposite of you and you find a way to make it work, that's a miracle. Teaching a baby how to ride a bicycle, that's a miracle.

If we live in the possibilities of miracles. and don't live in the victimization of fear through illusion, our life takes on an incredible sense of wonder. Because no matter how difficult the lack may appear, remember always it has a corresponding opposite - that's how good you will feel, sad as you feel, how happy you will feel. Like a pen, I said this the other day, or a pencil - one writes on one end and one erases on the other. Everything in life, children, has a corresponding opposite. I repeat these truths through the years because we have a tendency when lack appears to forget our truth. Half the battle of spiritual growth alone is just trust...just trusting. Didn't somebody just write that 90% of success in life is showing up? It's true. Just show up! The worst isn't going to happen. The worst is that you believe it's true. Whatever the lack may appear as, half the battle of spiritual growth is to trust. And if you simply trust that no matter what is presented to you there's an answer, there is relief, it is growing to and through something... And sometimes you're in a relationship with someone and you love this someone to pieces, but you forget that this person came with their own baggage. They came with their own victimization. They came with their own lack. And you see this person and you love this person but every once in awhile their demons and their devils show up. Why, you think yours don't? But when you love someone you say: No matter what this appearance is, no matter how you're behaving, I see you you know. I see you. To me, that's the greatest statement you can ever say to another human being. I emailed James Cameron as a joke and said: You stole my line. I've been using that line for 45 years - "I see you".

Children trust in what you do not know. Trust in what you do not see. Every day. I don't quite remember, I don't quite remember what they said how many times, every day you trust the air, you breathe automatically without thinking a thing about it. You drive your car automatically without thinking a thing about it. You go to bed, you wake up, without thinking a thing about it. You don't go to bed  saying: Gee, I wonder if I'm going to wake up in the morning. You don't get in your car and say: Gee, I wonder if I'm going to have a bad accident today. You trust. You don't say I wonder if there's going to be any air for me to breathe today. I wonder if my heart will beat one more time. Trust in what you do not see. Trust in what you do not know. Because if you have a heart, a pure heart of trust, then you will know that whatever you will go through in your waking hours and in your bedtime hours, whatever you will go through, will always be to your highest good. Only the mind gets in there and messes with that reality. So having an understanding, having an awareness, that that God that loves you so unconditionally is always present, omnipresent in your life. The Spirit, the Messengers, the Angels - they're all there for you. Not lumping you into groups, not comparing you to others. Knowing full well that you're on a journey, you're on a mission. Knowing full well that their role is to walk “with” you, not “for” you. Knowing you have the ability to make decisions through a spiritual heart, not a mind that's filled with doubts and fears, but a spiritual heart.

My friend Alexandra used to say: No matter what shows up today I'm prepared for it because God is my champion. Spirit, they're my warriors. And I know they will turn the appearance of lack into the appearance into the miracles of opportunity and possibilities if I just believe. She's now 98, and she doesn't know who I am anymore. But if ever there was a champion in spirituality in my life, it was Alexandra. I have never known, nor I doubt will I ever know anyone who so lived their truth as she did. The mind, of course, has deteriorated due to dementia. And so she's walking in two worlds at one time now. But who she is is always in my heart. What she taught me, I can never ever forget. All of you will have an Alexandra at some point in your life. And even if from time to time you may disagree with what they say to you, remember Spirit helps us choose our friends to grow us. Spirit presents us with interesting possibilities through our friends, disappointments through our friends.

But the greatest gift that Spirit ever gave you in the appearance of lack, is the person looking back at you in the mirror. If you could simply take all the nonsense that's going on in your life, put it in a basket, put it in the garage and just say: From this day forward I am living a miracle. I have no lack. I am everything I need. Allowing Spirit to work on your behalf, allowing Spirit to open new doors. There are millions of miracles in your life waiting to occur. Lack is a refusal to accept miracles. The appearance of lack has nothing to do with money, children. Lack is a place in your heart that said I am not good enough for miracles. Therefore I will live in fear. Living in fear... I once told you that fear was it's own food. It creates lack on a daily basis. It creates lack from morning until night every single day of your life. The mind does not wake up in the morning for most people and say: You're enough for me today! We have no problems, we are a miracle, we expect miracles.  On the contrary it says: I wonder if I'll have the rent money. I wonder if he or she still loves me enough. I wonder if I'm going to get fired. I wondering if I'll ever get another job. None of the things I have just described, believe it or not, are of any importance in the long run.  All, children, the only thing that is important is the relationship to you and your God. That's it. There are no boundaries in that love. There are no victims in that love. There's only love in that love.

I have been accused from time to time as being simple minded or simplistic. I thank whoever started that rumor for me because I'll tell you what, I love my life and I love who I am. I love my intention. I love what I am doing. I'm not saying to you, beautiful people, that I am perfect. But I had a sign for many years on my refrigerator door at my home in Mexico that I loved. It said: I'm so far from perfect I'm pleased. Blue, see if you can take that and run with it, okay? (Hans laughing) I'm so far from perfect I'm pleased.

I have people in my life now... You want to talk about miracles? I have people who are listening tonight, making this broadcast possible, making the live streaming possible, the Facebook possible, people I don't even actually know...I've never met them. But their love and dedication to what, with Spirit, I'm trying to accomplish, what we're trying to say, has no bounds. It is amazing the beautiful people who have shown up. For those of you who are tithing to us so that we can produce these shows and the ministry, thank you, thank you, thank you, and you all know who you are. Sometimes I can't get right back to you, but please know you're in my heart and I thank you very much.

Tell Spirit the miracles you would like to see in your life and leave it alone. Remember to watch the mind chatter as it comes in and starts to play you up a bit. And it will do so. The mind is so fearful of a miracle that it continues to throw up the appearance of lack because it doesn't know what else to do. It would have no job if ever there was no need to worry. The mind would have no job because it doesn't have any congratulation skills. It doesn't have anything in its being that helps it to understand that it's nothing more than the opposite of God. The mind isn't fixated on the wonder of who you are, the mind isn't fixated on everything being okay. The heart-mind knows that. But we tend to, through the years, as the appearance of lack and tragedies and disasters in appearance occur in our life, it keeps reminding us: I told you so. I told you you weren't good enough.

Folks, there is oftentimes a situation where a person, sometimes in the humanness, is operated by two consciousnesses. Always go with the one that's in the light please. Never listen, never listen to the anger. Never listen to the fear. You know, the ugliest puppy deserves to be loved just as much as the prettiest puppy because there's absolutely no difference in the puppy's love. Sometimes situations do not appear to fit what you think is your modus operandi...how you would do things, or how you would be. But remember you haven't seen your dharma yet. You don't know what your soul chose to create. And sometimes the appearance of lack is nothing more than a lesson. And what is a lesson? A miracle waiting to happen. Because once you understand the lesson, the miracle occurs.

The burden, the pain... I was talking to a lady a couple of days ago and I believe she was out of Toronto. And she was angry, and she was resentful, and her husband had left her of 36 years, and all the terrible things that he was, and all of this and I said: Excuse me, are you saying that you regret having gone into the relationship? She said: It's the worst thing I ever did. I said: How many children do you have? She said: Four. Now, I said, are you resentful for being in the relationship. Oh my God, she said, maybe the relationship was between he and I to bring those angels on-board life. I said: You got it. And when that role was finished, there was no more purpose in the relationship other than to be friends, and to be a family for those four children. That's the miracle. You brought them on-board through heck or high water, you got them through, you got them up, you got them out, and they're good citizens. That is the miracle. But you're operating out of a place of lack. Woe is me, poor is me, oh look at my life, who's going to want me at 56? Who cares, I said. Who cares? You mean the only thing you have in life is validation from another person? Where's you? You've been married for 30 some years, I don't want you to have another relationship. And that's what Spirit said: We don't want you to have another relationship right now. We want you to have you. We want you to rediscover who you are. Let's bring you to you.

Sometimes children, sometimes when relationships no longer can survive or endure, we believe that something is terrible, something is wrong. The only thing that is wrong, that I know of, is when you start to throw stones and sticks at each other, rather than witness the wonder of what you had, regardless of whether you had good times or bad times, it was all mixed up. You had them both. Seeing your baby in that birth room for the very first time and you both start to cry. That's a miracle. Would you trade all of those miracles of the first step, the first tooth, out of your anger towards a partner that doesn't want to be with you anymore? Turn to that partner and say: Oh my God, thank you, thank you. And no matter how bad they're being, if they're fighting you for money, or support, whatever, say: Thank you for these children. Thank you for all the years we worked together. Because it's true. Do not be a victim of your own love. Bless the person, thank them, and move on.

The heart's a funny creature. It wants to keep calling up the invalidation. I have  been there, I know. But if you really think about it, would you have traded all the good times, would you have traded that experience for not having done the experience? I don't think so. There are times in our lives when we've taken up with somebody and said: Well, what did I do, take leave of my senses? (Hans laughing) But in the moment, it seemed liked the right and proper thing to do. Find the humor in it as I'm doing with you tonight. Find the humor...and say: Well... I once called my friend Ned and I told him about something and I said: I fail to understand what the lesson in this is. He says: Well, would you do it again? I said: No. He said: There's the lesson. He always taught me with very short, cryptic comments that were meant to grow me. One of the great lessons that Ned gave me, when I was in my 20's... We were to attend a meeting in San Francisco and as a young man of 22, 23 years old I thought I knew everything. We were walking up the court house steps to this meeting. He says: There's one thing I want you to do for me today. I said: Alright sir. He said: Shut up and listen. You don't have the answer Hans. Not yet. And I did. And when I turned my mind chatter off about how I thought the proceedings were going, it was amazing what I learned. So when you shut the mind chatter off, you'd be amazed at what you hear. You've heard me for years say: "You see what you look for you know". When you turn your mind chatter off in how it perceives things are that are appearing to you, you'd be amazed what you can see. There's the miracles.

So the possibility of miracles occur every day. The miracles are waiting to happen for you. Folks, I don't get you pep-talks, I give you spiritual wisdom. And maybe it's a spiritual pep-talk, who knows? But it's true. Miracles are waiting for you every single day. All you have to do - stop the mind chatter, stop listening to lack, stop being in lack, and let's see what happens for you. Alrighty, that's the lesson for this evening.

Good evening everyone. It is really wonderful to be with you. It's a beautiful day here. Actually it's coming into evening here in Asheville, North Carolina. The trees are all out, they're celadon green, and I would like to announce to everyone who's been asking me, yes, I did put roses in and yes, they are looking beautiful. Lots of comments from my folks back here.

For a long, long time there is one consistent thing that I have spoken to all of you about and I know you are tired of hearing it. That's a good sign! But are you listening to it? Can you hear it internally when I say: Of all the things that will destroy your joy and possibilities, it is your own mind chatter. Nothing else. No one's coming for you, no one's going to get you. That one statement, of all the things that will destroy your joy and possibility, it is your own mind chatter.

There is an excerpt in the book that we have coming out that Spirit gave to me many years ago that you should all write down and put on your refrigerator door, on your mirror, behind your front door so you can see it when you walk out, and it says: We live within the limitations of our own perceptions. These are not words, children. These are not simply words. They're spiritual awarenesses. These two  little statements that I have given you this evening that you've heard, some of you for decades... You see how I know when you don't listen to this when you ask me the same question again.

We live within the limitations, now that's the boundaries, of our own perceptions. And so I've been working very hard with you and with Alfred over the last several weeks to try to drive home an enlightening point for you. If you could just do one thing this lifetime to enlighten yourself, what do you suppose that would be? Don't listen to your mind chatter. It is what brings your dreams to a halt. It is what causes you to believe that you need to be fearful, something must be wrong.

I'm going to ask Alfred for a second here. Alfred, when did you notice that you were living within the limitations of your own perceptions? Was it when you came on board here?

Alfred:
I'll give you the same answer I gave you last week Hans.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
When those of us get to be to a point where we can do automatic writing, or channel our Guidance, or receive guidance from the Other Side, you first-hand get to read or listen to absolute truth. And when you compare that to your thoughts, what you perceive to be truth, what you think is true, what you're spending time on doing, you can no longer deny that what is between your ears is taking you in a place that is so small, so limited, so tiny, so minuscule...

Hans:
I hear what you are saying but the question to you is the following: You knew, and automatic writing was brought to you, what about the billions of people out there who don't have the luxury of that awareness? How can they hear these two statements? Where do they have to go within inside of themselves to hear this? Where do they need to understand that all their negative thinking destroys their life? Where do they need to go to understand that they're living within the limitations of their own perceptions? I understand what your remedy is and you're absolutely correct. But for the billions of people who don't have the luxury of your consciousness, how would they make their first step forward without the automatic writing and taking the Intuitive Development Class, because that's what people are going to want to know.

Alfred:
A lot of us are angry, mad. I'll ut it that way without coming up with any interesting words. And it's difficult to understand that we are the actual cause of our own anger. We love to blame other people for our anger, our disappointment, our sadness, it's their fault, they did this to me... That is a human perception. What we try to teach is that we are our own reason for being angry...

Hans:
We're our own limitation.

Alfred:
...for being sad, for being depressed. We, ourselves. Everything in spirituality is the opposite. The body, the mind says: It's out there, it's out there. Spirituality says: No, it's in here. It's what is inside of you is what is causing you your limitations, your sadness, your pain, your anger. And with this one realization, you can go in and start looking for what is causing me to be angry, what belief do I have, what perception do I have, what opinion do I have that is causing me to be angry, that is causing me to be sad? Is it really true that I am causing this upon myself?

Hans:
What I find, Alfred, is that people need to be okay in giving themselves permission to look beyond the boundaries of their limitations. What I have been trying to teach people, lo these many years, is to find a safe place within to say: Yes, I understand that, but I wonder what if. I wonder if there might be something else. And I believe that that one thing, if they can give themselves permission to see outside of the box, even though they don't have to jump out of the box, if they can just see outside of the box, I believe that opens an entirely new vision of possibilities for them. And that, of course, is why I've been teaching this for so long. Does that make sense?

Alfred:
It does, Hans.

Hans:
You see.

Alfred:
And a lot of the discussions that Hans and I have is not just simply that we come at things at two different perspectives. It's that this lesson can affect you no matter where you are in your spiritual growth. Hans likes to teach it, as he said, from a very beginner's perspective. Where would you actually start with this?

Hans:
Simple is best.

Alfred:
Simple is best. I like to look at this from say, more advanced perspective.

Hans:
That's why you were a banker.

Alfred:
Yes. But what we're trying to say is this is one of those fundamental lessons that no matter where you are in your spiritual growth... Because there's a little story that Hans and I like to teach that if you have a very big rock and you throw it into waves, there's 2 or 3 foot waves that are coming at you, and you throw huge rocks at those waves, it's really not going to matter much. But if you, say throw a tiny, tiny pebble into a clear, placid lake, even though you think that your mind is crystal clear, even though you may think you are very evolved in your spirituality, the slightest pebble will create ripples to the other side of the lake.

Hans:
Always.

Alfred:
And it may be something as simple as a thought.

Hans:
So what we're trying to teach you, what I have been teaching Alfred now, he is teaching his courses, what I've been teaching you is that you don't have to be a wizard in spirituality to find truth. Truth is always simplicity itself. Always remember that. So when you find your mind chatter running away with you, just running helter-skelter, remember to sit down and say to yourself: This needs to stop, in this moment I chose to be peaceful. Just peaceful. Making where you are in the moment nothing more than a lesson that you chose to learn, everything is fine.

I remember the anger and all the frustrations that Alfred went through. You want to talk about a madman loose in the world. Remember those days Alfred?

Alfred:
Oh yes. I was mad at everybody for all the things they did to me.

Hans:
That's right. He was an enormous victim of his history. And gradually, I watched him throughout the years bless this one, bless that one, and when they were called up for whatever reason, his anger had dissipated. And that's because he had grown past the need to hurt. And he began to look at things from both sides.

Remember, we view ourself in the world a certain way. We speak from behind the veil of who we are. And behind that veil is the spiritual self. So there's the world out there, there's you in the world out there, and then there is the spiritual you in here. You see? So when you reconnect with the spirit within, and shut off the mind chatter, everything gently and slowly begins to shift your perception. And as you shift your perception, the power that the mind has to create illusion, fantasy, fear, all of this, dissipates dramatically in the fear aspect. And possibilities then... Alfred likes to use the term - the big drum and the ocean. Well  if you start to let some of that oil out, it starts to rise back up to the top. So when you let the gunk out, the heaviness out of the mind chatter, then you float closer to the spiritual you.

Specific things that you should pay attention to, that run through your mind, are you sure that you want to let go of what you have? Now I like to use Alfred as a student to show you some of the ways he had his mind set. I have to tell you he had one of the most severe mind sets of anyone I've known in a long time.

Alfred:
I paid a lot of money for that mind set.

Hans:
I understand that dear friend. However, it just devastated him. He really was caught up in the illusion of Southern California. If any of you don't know what that illusion is, it's called fantasy land, and he was caught up in that, and he was speeding on the freeways, and all of this stuff.

Alfred:
Just think Hollywood.

Hans:
Yes. Same thing. He believed that. He would go out and meet people and they right away would say: What do you do? Rather than: Who are you? And you were judged by what you were doing, and I believe, Alfred, you were judged by  how much money you were making. So for him to even listen to when Spirit said to him: You must let go of this was... How did you handle that in the beginning when I said, you know you're going to have to let go of this stuff.

Alfred:
I thought he was crazy.

Hans:
(Laughing)

Alfred:
That's probably a nice way that I said it.

Hans:
Well those weren't the words you used. They were a little "flowerful"?

Alfred:
Yes. I had a lot of choice words back then that I used very freely. I don't know how Hans dealt with me at the time...

Hans:
Honest to God I don't know either. But he had one thing that all of you need to hear. Because all of you will need this one gem. Alfred had "intention" to look at why he was in pain, and he had intention to look at things that Spirit brought by him. He would pooh-phoo them at first, but then he would always come back: Well, what did you mean when you said that... What did you mean when Spirit said this or said that... His intention was to see outside of the box. You see? And that's why I want all of you to begin to look at the possibilities of seeing outside of the box, outside of the limitations.

Another one that will come up, if you go out there, in whatever out there is, just think what could happen to you. One of the things that Alfred said to me was: If I follow this path, you know I'll loose most of my friends. And that was true. What he didn't realize was the friends that he had were based on where he was at that time. Now he has a whole new set of friends. But the mind will say to you: Yeah, but what happens if you go out there? How can you trust anybody? What happens? What if?

And now I'm back at my friend and how did that affect you Alfred? He's looking at me like oh-whoa-whoa... I'll tell you how he did, he struggled. He struggled with who was he going to be without what he had already built. You see? That's the answer I'm looking for from him. How did he get there? I want to go back to something that I taught him to do. I said set your intention. Have no intention to harm anyone, have no intention to abandon anyone, allow the law of life to take care of that. And there was another one that comes up for all people: What if no one likes you? And I will say to you: What do you care? That's not your problem. That's their problem. Because you are a wonderful divine expression of the love of God in the human form. What you care what a neighbor or someone who works about you... That's why we have that wonderful saying in metaphysics that says: Not my problem.

And then there's this one thing that crops up for everybody. What if you are really not good enough? Now, I've taught you that that could never be true. There is no way that could be true. The Godforce, Spirit would never even look at that because they teach you: You already are enough. But the mind chatter is trying to convince you that you may not actually be quite good enough to get your dreams. Maybe you believe and you believe and you believe in Spirit and you believe in our work and all that... But somewhere deep inside of you, you think it may only apply to others, and not to you. Nothing, children, could be further from the truth. Nothing, because you already were born good enough. We've been dealing with this for sometime with you.

Here's one I just love. What if you fail? Excuse me, there is no such word in spirituality. There's no such word with the Godforce. Fail? That is impossible. That is a concept that was made up by humans, you see? Why do you think I'm so adamant against games - football, baseball, TV shows that have winners. Why? Because it teaches our children, number one-they might not be good enough because they lost, number two-they didn't try hard enough, number three-they failed. Isn't that a horrible, horrible word - failed? There is no degree of human awareness that would ever precipitate the world failure in spirituality - it's a non-word, it's a non-emotion. It is your mind chatter running amok with your human consciousness.

So what you want to hear instead is first sit down, calm yourself, know it's nothing more... When you're really running your crazies, when you're really upset, when you are really just going crazy, calm yourself and know it's only mind chatter - it is not true.

Alfred, I'd like to come to you on that particular one here. You always sort of ran on high octane, remember?

Alfred:
Um hmm.

Hans:
How did you... I used to say to you: I want you to have a whole day where you didn't touch a computer or an iPhone or anything that had a button on it.

Alfred:
I went insane.

Hans:
(Laughing) He really did guys, he really did. How did you get to a place where... You said to me once: I like this new schedule. I get the weekend off. I don't have to do anything... How did ever make that happen?

Alfred:
A lot of the way I managed to get Hans' lessons, regardless of how simple they seem...

Hans:
They're not simple, Alfred.

Alfred:
They sound simple, but implementing them in your life, following them on a daily basis is not so simple. They're easy for us to remember, but implementing them at the right time is another subject. Because first of all, you're taking this very simple thing and saying: Well, that's so simple. I've been doing this for 10, 20, 30 years. We're just going to keep continuing doing it this way. The first thing is to say: Okay, let's just try it. If it's so simple, let's just give it a go and see how it goes. If not, again, we've said this before, the worst thing is you can go back to the way you were doing it before.

Hans:
That's right. That's the worst that can happen to you.

Alfred:
Okay? So, what we say is just try to implement these things, these very basic teachings, on a daily basis, and then you'll see, hmm mm, there is a method to his madness.

Hans:
(Laughing) I had someone, Alfred, walk up to me at a presentation we were at recently and said to me: Hansy, I've been following you for 3 or 4 years now. You know, she said, I thought at the beginning your work was just simply too simple for me. I thought you had to strive, and you had to know all these fancy terms and work with all these fancy people and all that. And she said: What I found out was I couldn't even do the basics. And without the basics I could never work with other people. She said: So your lessons helped me to lay the foundation and that is what I'm trying to explain to Alfred who will build upon the foundation I have given him and put his own tweak on it. And my job has always been to simply say: Yes, you can. And no, you're not. But we have very little built in mechanisms from our peers, our parents, our schools, that look at you and say: Didn't you already know you were enough? Stop struggling. God loves you.

We have a society, right now, that is currently failing. And it's failing badly. We will pull through economically speaking, I'm not concerned about that, we always do. We're the largest economic engine in the world. We will  pull through. But I'm watching...I'm watching us tear ourself apart and that breaks my heart. But you don't need to be effected by that. Because once you operate in and with the Godforce, with spiritual power, none of that effects you. First calm yourself and know it's only mind chatter. Then pay attention to what your soul tells you. Now here I bring Alfred in.

Alfred:
And that's the hard part.

Hans:
How did you get to do that? What was the "click". I always talk to him about a "click". What clicked for you?

Alfred:
It's practice. This is spiritual practice. I don't think, from my perspective, there is a click. There is just an ever, so gradual strength that the more you practice calming yourself, realizing that it's just your mind, lowering the importance of what your mind says, raising the importance of what your soul tells you, raising the importance of listening to Guidance, it just happens on a day-to-day basis. It's like going to the gym. It is not one day you go to the gym and all of a sudden how much you can lift goes up 50 pounds. No, it's every day maybe you lift an extra 1 or 2 pounds, some days you lift 5 pounds less, some days you lift 5 pounds more. But it's just gradual. It's spiritual practice. And this is it. It's the practice of calming yourself. Realizing it's mind chatter and then saying: Okay, now let me pay attention to what's really important - what I need to strengthen, what I need to actually realize who I am is my soul. And that, in itself, is every part of spiritual practice. It's to go within, to strengthen your soul, no matter whether you're a healer, an intuitive, a waiter, a taxi driver, an engineer, a banker... That is what is you're to follow. That is the difference between being human and being spiritual. It's that practice.

Hans:
It is. And when you learn the value of simplicity itself, when you learn that something either is or is not, nothing is right, nothing is wrong, it simply "is". My students throughout the years, including Mr. Alfred, would always say to me: What do you mean there's nothing wrong? Look at the injustice. Look at all that's going on. Where is God? God is there. People choose not to love each other. People choose to make rules and laws for other people. People choose to disenfranchise people, to invade people, to shoot people... Where is God in that? God is not present. And that is the problem.

Calm yourself and know it's only mind chatter. Then pay attention to what your soul is telling you. Alfred, that will conclude the lesson for this evening.

Hans:
Hello everybody and welcome to the show. It's with great laughter in my heart that we picked this topic. "We" being Spirit and I. Actually Alfred and I were in Lowes, and Spirit said to me this morning: I want you to talk about the value of "nothing". And Alfred looked at me and he said: What? I said: That's what they say - a show about “nothing”. I said: Yes, a show about “nothing”. And it reminded me of when Jerry Seinfeld decided to do a show about “nothing” for NBC. It's kind of on that vein.

Do you know how much power there is, children, in "nothing"? Think about it a minute. If there's nothing going on, if you bring yourself to a loving safe place of nothingness, quietness... Not full of what happened yesterday...disappointment that somebody didn't call you...You know, I wonder if they're going to call me, I wonder if my mother's still mad at me, I wonder whether or not my boss likes me... What if there's "nothing" in that space?

You know when I do my readings, and I think for those of you who have been with us a long time know this little story. But when I teach you, the classes or I do readings for people, I kind of draw and doodle on a legal pad. And when I get to a certain point in the class or in the reading, I turn the page over and at first I say: Would you rather have this page, which their life has been written on this page here, or I say: Or would you rather have this page? And I show them the next page which is blank. Over 75% - 78% of the people will choose the page that's already written on.

The value in the "unknown" is enormous. The value in "nothingness" is enormous. But our mind chatter tells us there must always be “something” in the space of “nothing”. Because if there's “nothing” in the space of “nothing”, something could be wrong, something might go wrong. What if nothing ever comes in to the nothing space...what if? A show about "nothing"...a class. If you sit in a class and the teacher says: This class is about "nothing" today, the mind chatter that starts to run in that class is deafening.

If I say to a client when doing work with them: You need a space of "nothingness", most clients think that's strange, and most clients think that something bad could happen to them without being in control of the "nothing" space. So we have been taught, throughout our life, that there has to be something running through our mind at all times.

Alfred, you know of this through your teaching. What have you found?

Alfred:
I found that one of the most amazing spiritual paths is through "nothing". And it's the basis of meditation, it's the purpose of meditation actually, is to get to a point of "nothingness". And what we do through Hans' Intuitive Development Class and my Automatic Writing and Advanced Channeling Class is to take you beyond "nothing". To use the basis of "nothing" as a point where you can go far beyond what you could ever possibly comprehend. Now what does that mean? "Nothing" means there's no humanness or as little humanness as possible.

Hans:
Absolutely.

Alfred:
And that's what we're talking about. I'm sure Hans is going to bring up the "mind chatter" and the purpose of not having mind chatter.

Hans:
Which is the opposite of having mind chatter is nothingness.

Alfred:
Exactly. And that's what we're talking about here is "nothing" is actually a spiritual path. Because through "nothing" you're actually disconnecting through everything human. With not having anything human, you've got "nothing".

Hans:
Thank you Alfred. Doesn't it sound funny? What are you going to do today? Nothing. Well certainly you have to do something because you have time. So you must do something. No, I think I will do "nothing". I think I will just "be". Well what does that mean? Aah, there goes the mind chatter again. It doesn't matter what it will be, it simply is. This sounds a little bit like a round-about but what I want you to understand is "perfection in human form is nothingness". In other words, being "in" the world but not "of" it.

While Alfred was taking his welding class, I happened to turn on the news, and I had sworn off the news a year and a half ago. And living in Mexico for as long as I have, we don't get American news except for CNN and then it's the International CNN. And I turned this on and I heard all of these people spreading all of these rumors about Ebola. One person, from Africa, stopping off in Texas brought the virus with them, unknown to them. Passed the health test before they left Africa. And that has grown from 1 person infected, out of 335 million people, into a plague on the United States is about to happen. Shame on the President for not knowing this...and oh, he said it wouldn't be a plague... It's not, it's 1 person. It could be as many as 20 "if" all the people that person came in touch with got the virus. At that point, Guidance says to me: “Nothing”. Got it, turned it right off.

Went to the Discovery Channel and just sat for a moment looking at some glaciers that were melting and trout that were coming up a stream. Nothing going through my mind...nothing. Have you ever sat in the park, and let's say the park is very empty, very quiet, and you see a squirrel coming along looking under leaves, looking for where he may have buried one of the nuts from this season's crop...but nothing else was going on in your mind just watching the squirrel. You ever heard of that adage: I lost track of time. Isn't that wonderful? Alfred, would you like to comment on that?

Alfred:
It's through "nothing" that you can find happiness, joy, bliss... It's why when you go out into nature and you stop thinking about human things - work, stress, what you have to do - that you're happy. That you actually can connect to God and Spirit better when you're in nature. Because you go to a state, or as much as possible, a state of "nothingness" releasing humanness. That's why when you sit there and think of nothing and watch the squirrel try to dig up a nut, you're in bliss. You're thinking that doesn't make any sense.

Hans:
Absolutely.

Alfred:
Exactly. It's not supposed to make sense. If it makes sense, you're thinking back to humanness which goes back to stress. We don't want that. We're telling you, if you're looking for happiness and bliss and God and Spirit and the Universe and Oneness, start at "nothing".

Hans:
It already "is". You've often heard me tell the story of the Buddha and the dandelion. And looking and the dandelion and looking at it and he doesn't say anything. And finally one of the devotees says to him: Gurudev, we fail to understand the value in this lesson. And he takes the dandelion flower and he points it to the group of people and he says: That it is is sufficient. It doesn't need to be explained. It was a metaphor. For when something "is", a tree "is", the squirrel "is" - it doesn't need to be analyzed because it's already bliss. It's simplicity itself. Truth is simplicity itself. But the more you try to "understand", the more you confuse the bliss of your moment.

I have a friend who still is my friend but he's now in Spirit. And he used to say when he came upon something that was rather large, he would just turn to his internal child and say: Well here's something interesting. Let's see if we can play with this today. No matter how negative something may appear...because what he had learned of his 83 years, what he had learned was: Nothing is as it appears to be. Everything is an illusion that we or someone else has created. You see folks?

So when you finally get that "nothingness", being peaceful... I have a lady that I know who goes whenever she can...she lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and whenever she can she goes up to one of the Reservations, and one of them has this beautiful little stream, and she's found this wonderful rock to sit on. And she goes and she takes a little cushion, and she sits on the rock and she just does nothing but sits there. No thinking, no reading a book, just "be in the moment". And she's done this for a very, very long time...over 40 years. You too can learn the value of "nothing".

If I have a pitcher and I want to spoon out water, okay? At some point, I will run out of water. When you refill the water pitcher, you're saying: I trust. So in that moment you're not asking yourself why you're filling the watcher pitcher, what is  all that about... In the moment you're going to refill the water pitcher and it's automatic. When you breathe, you're not saying: Gee, I wonder if there will be another breath. Nothing. Sitting in a place of "nothing", there is peace. Our minds are so constructed to think that there's something wrong with silence. We, and this is part of the book that's coming out for us that I'm currently doing, we have been programmed to go from one subject in life to another. And in the process of doing that we tend to validate the current pain by a pain from the past. Rather than say: I have had a wonderful life up until now. I choose to just "be" for a little bit. I'm not going to be fearful, I'm not going to be angry, I'm not going to wonder, I'm simply going to sit and "be". You see?

Alfred, any comments?

Alfred:
What we're trying to get at is through the search for something, the search for knowledge, the attempt to understand, the attempt to think things through - you're actually disconnecting yourself from Spirit, from God, from the Universe. You're actually in limitation because you're focusing on using your human self, whatever that "something" is, in order to get through life. And what we're trying to tell you is if you're looking for your connection to God, if you're looking for your connection to Spirit, it is through the letting go process in an attempt to get to "nothing" that  you'll find clarity, you'll release the limitation. And it is through the release of the limitation that you can be who you truly are. You're not piling anything on top of your perfect soul that already has everything it already needs. You're not piling on limitation to yourself. It is through the "nothing" that you'll find clarity.

Hans:
Thank you Alfred. You know we are taught throughout our lives, and you know this is one of my pet peeves, we are taught throughout our life to be somebody. We can be somebody. This makes the Spirit World insane. They didn't send nothing people here. No nothingness came here. You already were. You are someone and you're resonating in that moment because that moment is where you are supposed to be. And when children get fractured, and adults get fractured, is when others keep reminding them that they're not enough, reminding them that they should try harder, reminding them they should do better. That gets locked into that child's soul and never goes away. And they keep trying harder and trying harder. And I want all of you who are thinking: Yes, but isn't that good? Nnnooooo. Because it's taking you away from the essence of who you are. Find out who you are and see what you would like to have the experience of in life. That's what we should be teaching our children. Oh yes, they need to know their ABC's and math and all of that. I understand that.

But the greatness of the soul does not lie in what it does. The greatness of the soul is in who it is. And in that is a place of quiet knowing which is "nothing". What if you found out today there was no place you needed to go, nothing you needed to accomplish, that just who you are in this moment is enough for God, you see? Nothing. And once you find a safe place in "nothing", everything in your life will change. Everything. Yes, there are human things that come up again. Because we put them in motion. Our parents, our grandparents, our employers, our employees, have put these, what they perceive to be deeds, in motion.

I was talking with Alfred the other morning at breakfast and we were just talking about how he got to where there was a shift. And he said to me: You know, it was like an internal voice that came out of my chest that was telling me something but I wasn't paying attention. Alfred, you tell the story please.

Alfred:
Hans, that's the story of when I left my career in Banking. There was just some internal voice inside my chest that said: Okay, you've had enough of this time to leave your job and do something meaningful. And I said: Who are you and what's meaningful? Well, a year later, after its still yelling at me and raising its voice saying you have to quit what you're doing and leave and just go back to California and we'll explain it to you later. Finally I got to the point of stopping arguing. I just resigned and left and came back to the U.S.

So what's the point of all of this? If you want to be led by Spirit, if you want to receive Guidance, if you want to follow your path, sometimes you need to l”et go”  of what you're holding onto no matter how important, how successful, that you think it is in order to allow Spirit to enter your life. Sometimes you have to go to "nothing" and we really go over this in great detail in our Video Class, The Void. I think it's about 6 hours of the "good" that can come from when things are taken or when you release them from you.

Hans:
So what I want everyone to really get from today's show is having the appearance of "nothing" is a huge step towards your spiritual growth. Very quietly buried in the "nothing" is a trust. You're actually saying I trust that even though I'm not orchestrating my life at this moment and I choose to simply be quiet and be peaceful, I know Spirit and God have my back. You see? That's what they see. They see: Ah, she believes. Ah, he gets it.

Remember that old adage that says: When you finally get it, when you finally see it, when you finally hear it, doors appear where previously there were no doors. The reason was you were standing in front of the door and thought it was a wall. You didn't know it was a door. "Nothingness" allows you to see a blank page as beautiful.

When a painter looks at a blank canvas, they envision something in the "nothing" and they create that. But they're not forced to. That comes from a place of quiet knowing and quiet trust, that I know out of "nothing" will come what I need to hear, will come what I need to know and will teach me. I know that. So when you turn loose of what you perceive is important, Spirit presents another door and I can't tell you the thousands of people through these many, many years in service who have said to me later: It all happened when I let go. I was holding on to something because I thought that was what my safety was. I didn't believe that Spirit, God would take care of me.

For many people, Alfred, going to a place of "nothing" is extremely fearful. Because for all they say that they believe, for all they work at believing, inside of them, they're still trying to control the outcome of the "nothing".

Did you ever have that experience?

Alfred:
That's a really good point Hans and as you've seen over the many years for those who have been following us, a huge part of the path of spirituality is merely a perception change. What the brain has been taught, especially in western civilization is that more is better, gathering is good. It's security. You can be a better person by getting more, whatever more is. And what we're trying to tell you in terms of changing your perception is that if you wish to lead a spiritual life, “nothing and less are better”. And we're saying not just "less" is better, but "nothing" is actually much, much, much better.

Because that means you've gotten to a point where you've released so much that you're in clarity, you just "are". I just "am". You have no judgments, no opinions. You're in a constant state, or as much as possible, a constant state of meditation, of connection with Source Energy, your vibration stays high as much as possible.

So in this perception change that we're asking you, you really need to look at and say: what do I value more? Am I a human that occasionally has spiritual experiences or am I a spirit, a soul, that happens to have some human experiences? And if your focus is being a soul, then we're telling you look at changing your perception that "less" or even "nothing" is a spiritual path.

Hans:
Very good, Alfred. You know my friends, one of the great things that Alfred brought to my practice was a simple statement that I had, for many years known about but hadn't incorporated it into my teaching. Now, let me backtrack here. People say well how can we go someplace and do someplace if we live in "nothingness". That's not what Spirit is saying. If you believe, and you say to them: In my life ahead I would like the feeling of... And let it go - whatever it is. And you go back to "nothingness" because you believe at that point that Spirit heard you. You believe they're going to organize. When you say to Spirit: In my new life I would like the feeling...I would like to feel so and so... That's something you can do. That's something you can tell them that you want. You can also tell them you would like the experience of whatever you want. But before you get to that place, you have to first believe. And the belief comes through "nothingness", getting to a place where you stop the control of all that's going on and are hurt by all that's going on. Okay?

Alfred, anything more on this subject today from you?

Alfred:
What we're trying to tell you about is the huge, immense value of "nothing". And again this is a massive perception shift compared to what most of us have gotten beaten into us that acquiring stuff is better. What we're trying to tell you is acquiring stuff, thinking about stuff, trying to make yourself better in the western way may take you away in an opposite direction if you wish to lead a spiritual life. All of Hans' harping over the many years about mind chatter is all about releasing, letting go, and every single spiritual methodology that there is, everyone will always talk about surrendering, trust, belief. And it is through the of letting go, and getting to a state of "nothing" that you could have true meditative experiences, that you could have true bliss, true joy in your life, and that's what we're trying to tell you is the value, spiritually speaking, of "nothing".

Hans:

Yes. Alright, Alfred, I think that will conclude the lesson for the day. And I thank you for your wonderful input. I thank all of you for being patient. What I want you all to do is listen to this show several times, and I want you to write down bits and pieces from it that you think affect you and what you'd like to look on. Okay?
