HANS:
Hello everyone and welcome to our Show. Today we're going to be talking about “Let Go and Let God.” What does “Let Go and Let God” mean? Let Go and Let God means that probably the way you're handling a situation doesn't work. You're not getting to where you need to be, things are not going the way you would like them to go.

And there's and old saying that says: If it ain't broke don't fix it. But you don't know that it's broken. That's the problem. You just keep trying to fix it. Over and over and over again, you keep trying to fix it. But it doesn't work. It's like fishing for a particular kind of fish in a certain stream where the fish doesn't live.

You're determined to make certain you can catch that fish in that stream. So when we say let go, how do we mean that? What is that when we say let go? Let go means no longer trying to force something to work the way you want it to work. But instead turn to God and say: I've done all I can do with this issue. I really can't do anymore. I'm going to let go and trust that you will take this issue for me and do that which is best for me, to my highest good.

This lesson has been very difficult in the 50 years that I've been teaching to get people to understand that they have a resource in God. They have a resource in Spirit. And they too can open that door. Let go and watch the miracles that happen when you Let go. My young Padawan is with me today and I'm going to call on him throughout the Shows to bring his perspective, his point of view across. Alfred, how have you done with letting go and letting God?

ALFRED:
It was an incredibly difficult lesson. Because we're taught that if you want to succeed, if you want to get ahead, you have to control the outcome. You need to get the outcome the way that you want. There's an advertisement that says - You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate. So much of Western Culture tells you you need to be in control.

And one of the basic teachings that I've learned from Hans is that by being in control, yeah sure, you'll get what you understand... you'll get what your humanness, by yourself, understands. And what I've learned from Hans is by letting go of control of the outcome, by letting go of the way it needs to look, then you open yourself up to possibilities that your humanness, your poor little brain, could never understand. You open yourself up to the possibilities of the Universe.

HANS:
And remember that we are Angels in human form. We are not a human form with an Angel attachment. We are actually Spirit in human form. But because we are in human form we are susceptible to human frailties. We all know what that looks like. I knew what that looked like yesterday morning, for instance.

So we all have to, I like to say, laugh at our mind chatter. Have you ever noticed, Alfred, that mind chatter never really tells you anything good about yourself? It always reminds you of what you're not, what you can't do, you're not good enough, you're not pretty enough, you're not thin enough? But it rarely ever says: You know, you're just wonderful the way you are and I love you.

ALFRED:
And that's the easiest way to understand if what is coming to you, what you're hearing is coming from your mind, your limited humanness or if it's coming from the Universe. If it's nagging you telling you what's wrong, what could be better, what you need to have, it's pretty much coming from your brain. If it is coming at you by saying: Everything's okay, we have you, trust us, there's nothing you need, just be peaceful... that's the Universe talking to you.

HANS:
Right. And remember the mind chatter is a product of your history. It really isn't telling you anything true. It's very concerned about what “might” happen. Not what actually “is” happening. But its perception is if it doesn't know it, it's out of control. And if it's out of control, something could happen.

So when you are trying to develop your spirituality and find your oneness with God and bring your Angels and Guides to work with you and to open your life to “all” that you can be, this becomes a direct threat to the mind. Because the mind feels it's out of control.

So you have the head-mind and the heart-mind. And the heart-mind will always tell you everything will be alright. The heart will tell you: Don't worry, we'll get through this. But the mind will turn and say: But how? How are we going to get through this? The rent is due, the car payment is due, you may lose your job or you've lost your job and you may never get another one. That's old mind chatter.

ALFRED:
Oh, I've got a good one. Relationships.

HANS:
We're going to be doing a lot about Relationships in these shows.

ALFRED:
That is absolutely one of our most asked about topics and probably one of the most relevant topics in terms of Let Go and Let God. And it probably is one of the most personal topics. There's so many people that are close to us that have a choice in their relationships... to get a relationship... to determine if they should stay in the relationship... is to Let Go and Let God. And that's really what you're talking about. You can drive yourself absolutely crazy trying to figure it out on your own.

HANS:
I think we try to take individuals and make them into what we'd like them to be. Rather than say just who they are in their uniqueness and their individuality is perfect for me.

ALFRED:
How about this one? Say you want a relationship. Let's take that one for an example. That one's going to hit close to home here. Huh,  Hans?

HANS:
Oh, yes.

ALFRED:
And let's say you'd like a relationship. You've got two ways to go about it. And that's what we're trying to talk about right here. You have the choice of doing things the way that you understand them which is: Okay, let me go through my list... and let me try to figure it out... and I'm in control... and it's up to me to find somebody... “or” you can work with the Universe to find you a Soul Mate.

HANS:
Yes.

ALFRED:
And surrender control, surrender the outcome. How does that sit with you Hans?

HANS:
Well, it sits very well because when we try to control how a relationship will enter our life we normally fail. Because the greatest relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. You cannot be in an all trusting, all loving relationship, unless you love yourself. Because you have no one to give if you don't know who you are.

We try to hold on to relationships, for instance, that don't work anymore. And most people don't realize that there's something called Soul Crossing. And in Soul Crossing we come across someone who we have agreed to come across in this lifetime by our dharma, our karma, if you will, to work through some issues... to be mirrors, growth partners for each other. But we're actually headed in a different direction.

And so these relationships come into our lives and we think: Oh, this is it, I've got it. And they fall apart. So when you let go of your “need” to have a relationship, you're saying to God: I am available for that certain someone who can see me as I see me... and I have no judgments of me... and I love me.

Then The Spirit... The Great Spirit begins to unlock the doors that bring that someone to you. But sometimes those someones come in for 1 day, 10 years, or 50 years. It depends on what the dharma is. But if you live each day and surrender to letting go and letting God, the relationship will go exactly where it's supposed to be.

But your mind chatter tells you: In order to be whole, in order to be someone, you need a relationship. And nothing can be further from the truth. And people, no matter how pretty it sounds - You complete me - nothing could be further from the truth. You are not made half whole. God did not send half-baked cookies to this planet. You were whole and complete when you arrived. You were perfect... absolutely perfect.

You had a dharma, which is a map of what you chose to work through. Some lessons you wanted to learn. Certain people on The Other Side came with you to help you to learn those. Those are our Spirit Families, our Light Groups. And many of you have worked with the same people for many, many centuries in different forms one way or the other.

But letting go and letting God means that you no longer place a value in what other people look like... what other people think... what other people tell you you are. We have a saying that says: Not my problem. Why don't you explain that teaching that we give?

ALFRED:
The way I like to talk about it is how much do you understand about why you're here? Your own individual life path? Your own individual karma? But, you're by yourself every single day... you're with yourself every single day.

If you yourself do not completely understand your individual life path, your purpose in life, what lessons you have to work through... how can anybody else judge you? How can anybody else have an opinion of you? Which means how can you possibly care about what someone else says about you?

HANS:
One of the things that I taught Alfred was a wonderful saying from Dr. Terry Cole-Whittaker in which she said: What someone thinks of you is really none of your business. But what you think of what they think of you should be very much your concern. And he puzzled and pondered that. But I think you get that now don't you Alfred?

ALFRED:
Yes. But say you want a good relationship. You basically have two options. One, with your limited brain, try to figure it out yourself or to let go of the outcome. Let go of what other people think. Let go of what you think. And let the Universe provide you with the outcome.

HANS:
We're going to, throughout our many Shows to come, be discussing different forms of relationships, different forms of spiritual principles and teachings. So you will not all get it this evening, all the new people. But as we go along, you'll begin to see the pattern that frees you from the sense of being in what I refer to as "The Void."

And for many of you who don't know what The Void is, and I know all our Members do know because they've been with us for awhile, but The Void is a time in life where you may have a sense that there's more going from you or leaving you than coming towards you. You have a sense of uneasiness... a sense of not belonging. It is a time between two cycles of energy.

And it is a time when Spirit does remove from us things that don't offer us growth anymore. It can be a very off-putting time, as my English friends would say. In that, if you don't know it, it appears as fearful. You just see things leaving and nothing's filling them. And that's why I nicknamed it The Void. What I love about The Void is that it is a harbinger or the announcer of a new beginning.

Let's try it another way. When you were all in school your teacher, he or she, always had a big chalkboard behind them and they wrote the lesson and taught the lesson on the board. But at a certain point all the lesson had been written all over the board, even in the margins, and there was no place left to start the new lesson. And the teacher would then begin to erase the chalkboard, or one of the students did.

I was one of the students who got to erase the chalkboard. And you could hear people saying: No, no I'm not finished... I still haven't written this! And the teacher or the student erased the chalkboard anyway. And it was empty. Well, what do you do then?

Then the Spirit hands you new chalks to begin the new journey. And on the blank board you can write anything you want. On the blank board is all the possibilities of tomorrow. Not on the board that's been written on. That's done. It's the new board, the clean board, the board with nothing on it.

That's exactly the same principle that Spirit uses when we let go and we let God. They “know” when our chalkboard is full. And They know when it's time to let go. And you're encouraged to let go. But we hang on. We hang on to things over and over again... pretending that we're going to make them work when they won't. Okay?

By having faith that Spirit has heard you, and heard your request, is the key to letting go. Believe. Let Go and Let God. They know exactly what's supposed to be on your chalkboard. Know and believe that an outcome is already on the way... even though, my friends, you can't see it, you can't hear it... “know” it. Try to always have no judgment or opinion of when a solution is presented. Because that's your interference - the mind chatter.

The mind chatter desperately wants to know when and how and where and why. These are irrelevant questions. They have no bearing in spirituality. They have no bearing in the Godforce. That is human need. Nothing more, nothing less. Keep the mind chatter at bay and watch the miracles arrive. Alfred, how did you find the courage to have faith... to let go? Where did it come from?

ALFRED:
One of the most interesting things that you told me a long time ago and I think this is probably a good introduction to a lot of our people who are listening for the first time is “just try this.” Just try it. These things that we're teaching. Just try to incorporate them into your life and see how it goes. Because the absolute worse thing that's going to happen to you is you can go back to doing the thing that you know how to do.

HANS:
Right.

ALFRED:
You can be in control. You can do what you know. And when Hans first introduced me to these spiritual topics he said: Well, you can continue to argue and you can continue to tell me why they're not going to work “or” you can just try it.

Try it for a month, try it for 2 months, but try it. And if for some reason you don't like it, you can go back to the way that you were because apparently you seem to understand the way that that works very well... regardless of whether it works well or not. But you understand how that works.

HANS:
Well, it's yours.

ALFRED:
Yes, it's yours. You understand it and you're in control.

HANS:
There you go.

ALFRED:
So when Hans first told me about these teachings of course I had some choice words for him about...

HANS:
And folks you should've heard the words.

ALFRED:
And he said: Fine, just try it. And that was the first introduction to all of this. I didn't have much faith. I said: Fine, I'm just gonna try it. But after a little while I said: Hhhmmm... this stuff seems to work. And after you see it work over and over and over again, you just try a little thing here, a little thing there.

Like the lessons that Hans is trying to go over: How to Let Go - How to Let God. Then all of a sudden you start having faith and trust in the Universe that Spirit actually does have your back if you let go of the control.

HANS:
And the miracles show up don't they?

ALFRED:
Yes, and the miracles show up. And that's how I started having faith, is by actually working the lessons that Hans is teaching and saying: Wow, that actually happened.

HANS:
He was right.

ALFRED:
He was right. Unfortunately 99.9% of the time Hans is right.

HANS:
Well the Guidance is right.

ALFRED:
Guidance is right.

HANS:
I'm just the mouthpiece.

ALFRED:
We'll go into Hans being a Medium later. But that's how I got faith was seeing the results time and time again and saying: Wow, if I just let go, I could actually have faith that what's going to show up is for my highest good.

HANS:
And that's the key folks... is when you understand that God does not love anyone more in the world than you. Hear that again, children: God does not love anyone more in the world than you. Once you understand that concept, that the Godforce flows through you every day, your Angels, your Guides, your Helpers, your Friends, stand at the ready to help you.

And that you can learn how to bring that love, that light, and that power into your life. Once you get it, it never leaves you. That's when your life begins to change. This is the primary reason that we do this Show. I've been working for over 56 years and helping individuals to understand how wonderful they are to God. That their God has no judgment of them and they can partner with the Force.

One thing we bring into our Show, we attempt to bring in, we're a little serious today, but we love humor. Learning to laugh at yourself and learning to love yourself as God does. Because you know when The Spirit and when The Great Spirit looks at us, all they see is the baby Angels we are. They don't see our age, or our color, or what we're wearing, they just see the Angel that we actually all are.

All the rest of that "stuff" is "human stuff." Alfred arrived for his teachings with so much human stuff it was mind boggling. Alfred was an International Banker. And when I told him, many years ago, that someday he'd be doing this work, writing books and teaching classes, he just looked at me and he said: I'd like to have some of whatever you're smoking.

ALFRED:
Yes. That was the beginning of the choice words I had for Hans.

[Hans laughing in the background]

HANS:
And folks, it was not the easiest of things. I probably aged a lot during the first 5 years... but it's all worked out and I'm grateful.

ALFRED:
So if you want to know about a control freak, just ask. So for those of you who are control freaks...

HANS:
And you know who you are.

ALFRED:
Yes. I understand. This is another option. To say: Okay, if being a control freak is stressing you out and you're miserable, try this.

HANS:
And that's the key everybody. Is find the humor in your control issues. Watch yourself. Try to remove yourself slightly. And watch how your mind reacts to certain key words... or certain key people. And you'll find out what Spirit sees in you every day. Oh, my goodness there she goes again. Turn on Channel 13 she's on.

Listen to this mind chatter. Do you ever really sit back and listen to your crazies? And they run, and they run, and they wake you up at night. None of it is true. Not a thing of it is true. We have a perception that we have allowed ourselves to build and when things don't fit that perception we think something's wrong.

Years ago I was blessed... I was in Thailand and I was up north at a very spiritual old capital called a Utica. And I met this Monk... this Buddhist Monk. And we were talking about things and he said to me: What makes you think anything is wrong? And I had a litany of things to prove my point of view. And he said: No, that's your mind chatter. I said: But, are you saying that there's absolutely nothing wrong?

And he said: No, it's how you view it. It is your perception... and perception governs you in the Western World. For you, it's always more, or it's not enough, or it can't work, or it doesn't work. But there's no such statement as “enough”.

And for each and every one of you, remember that who you are in this moment, no matter whether you're driving your car tonight or today I guess it is... no matter what you're doing at this moment, you are enough for God.

Alrighty my friends, so the lesson today has been about "Let Go and Let God." For many of you this will be an old concept that you understand. But for a whole bunch of new people that are joining us today, this will be a new concept. And yes you have the power to change your life. Nobody has control over you.

And in Dr. James Allen's wonderful book "As a Man Thinketh" he said: It is important to remember that they themselves are makers of themselves. And we'll be reviewing these things and the lessons will be different each week.

I think that will conclude the lesson for today.

Topic: Less is More
August 29, 2015

HANS:
Hi everybody. Good to be back with you. Today we're going to be talking about "Less is More.” You've heard my story, that way back when, when I was just a kid, my dad said to me: Always remember son, Less is More. I really couldn't figure out what he was talking about because everything in life had been geared to acquiring “more.” More education, more money, bigger house, bigger car, better health... Everything was “more and more.”

So when he said: Always remember that Less is More, it didn't sink in. I didn't fully get the impact of that for some time to come. And then one day, I went through a terrible experience. Terrible, insofar as I perceived it, as a terrible loss. And I did the human thing. I mourned it, I cried over it. It was pretty bad. And again, he said to me: Remember what I told you - Less is More.

I began to understand that our mind chatter disturbs our ease, disturbs our peace, fills our time with necessities, fills our time with pain, sorrow. And then I began to see the less we have invested in the outcome of anything, the more it comes to us. Alfred has gone through that experience. I've gone through that experience.

But when you try to explain to someone: Put this in your heart that Less is More, it comes right up against - But what if we don't make it? What if I'm not enough? What if I lose this job? What if I don't get another job? What if I never have another partner? And you have to go to battle with it. Because the mind wants to tell you More is Better and The Spirit wants to tell you Less is More.

Now you remember what I said to you any number of months ago when I said: Nothing you are ever going to acquire will you ever get to keep. Remember that? So all the stuff that you're trying so hard at filling up all your space, all your time with, in the end... it's nothing. It matters not. It matters who you are, how you loved you, how you loved others.

I have a dear friend of mine who has been battling a major illness. One that she most likely would have never survived except for her deep seated belief that she was already enough. And that less was more... she would get the healing. She had over 20 tumors in her body, all cancerous, lymphoma. They have all disappeared.

And what she did was to go for the experimental treatment, but at the same time, to bring herself to a beautiful place internally that says: I already am enough. I'm enough to stay alive. I'm enough to be healed. We go through terrible times in our lives based on our personal perception of what's happening. You've been there before Alfred.

ALFRED:
Yes. And what we're trying to do, is what we try to do every Show, is give you a different perspective, a different viewpoint, a different way of going about life. The typical human way to go about life, Western way to go about life, is I need more... I need to get more... I need to have a bigger salary... a bigger car... nicer clothes... better shoes.. climb the ladder to get a better title... a prettier wife... a bigger house... Sound familiar anybody?

That is a human way which is happiness is through acquiring. And what we're trying to tell is the spiritual path is by letting go... is by surrendering. If you're looking for happiness and you're finding that the rat race and keeping up with the Jones' isn't making you happy, then we're telling you the alternative. Which is by letting go, by giving, by surrendering. That is an alternative path to happiness.

HANS:
It's really hard for us all to turn loose of our perceptions. We have to have this to be better, we have to have that to be better. So we did a program called "You Are Enough" which you can get on my Shopping Cart at my website. And you get quite a discount because you are Members and are watching the Show. And what it says is: What if you woke up tomorrow morning and found out just who you are in this moment was enough for God?

There was nowhere you needed to go, nothing you needed to be, nothing you needed to become. You were already enough. This is an alien concept. It's an alien concept. Alfred, when did you discover that for yourself?

ALFRED:
When you told me.

HANS:
Ah. (Laughing) And there's a smart-alack in every Class.

ALFRED:
So again, one of the focuses of what we're trying to do with this Show, and these little snippits, is help you realize perspectives of ways of being that you may not have known about. To say: There is a different way to go about life. You don't have to “acquire” education, money, material things, to be happy. We're saying there is a different path to happiness through peacefulness.

HANS:
Every morning when you wake up, sit on the side of your bed for just a moment. Turn of the mind chatter about "have to's," "need to get someplace," "time"... and just say something to this effect: I am blessed today because my God loves me just the way I am. I do not need to change who I am. I am that I am and it's perfect. Try saying it every day you wake up. Watch and see the difference it makes in your life as you begin to go down your day's path.

It's important for us to realize that we walk through an illusionary world. Nothing in it is actually real. It's a culmination of other people's understandings and ideas that they have projected forward. As you think about what I've just said: We are walking through everybody else's illusion. You see? Even the restaurant that you stop to have your breakfast in was someone's illusion. Someone created that. That wasn't there before.

And because it's all illusionary, you can create your own space and your own illusion within the illusions that keep you from being effected by anything that might be negative in the illusion. Start your day, every day, by saying: Today Less is More, I'm perfect. And you will see a wonderful change in the way you perceive the world and the way you think the world perceives you. Alfred?

ALFRED:
Great. And that brings us to our second topic for today of Less is More. Less helps you have a more spiritual life.

HANS:
It absolutely does. Because as you've heard me say for years now: No two things can be in the same place at the same time. You have to let go of one in order to acquire the other. That's life. And if your head is filled with a bunch of stuff about "have to," "need to," "should've," "would've," "could've"... There's no space for Spirit to step in and say: Be peaceful, child. You already are enough. Everything is fine.

They can't do it. Because you've so blocked the channel with all your worrying and fussing and all the things that... And I'm not saying to any of you that Alfred and I don't, on occasion, have those times... that we get upset about something. Alfred did this morning as a matter of fact when he went to the stock market.

ALFRED:
I got upset?

HANS:
Yes. (Laughing) He won't tell you that, but he does. He's perfect in every way... just look at him. So when we have expectations, we have limitations to our own soul. You hear me? When we have expectations, we have limitations to our soul. The wisest people I know oftentimes feel they're not enough. The smartest people I know oftentimes feel they're not good enough. I can tell you of Stars and people in this work that we do here that you would be utterly and absolutely astounded at if you knew that every once in awhile they too go through a little bit of the dark side.

But you know what I like about the dark? It reminds us so much why we love the light. I've always told you for years: You can't shine the dark in the light. So by blocking the negative aspect of the dark, which is your mind chatter, you allow Spirit to come in and sit in your heart, you allow Spirit to open the doors. They already know what you want. Yes, you can remind them what you would like the experience of and They will respond to that.

But They already know your path. They already know what's sitting in your heart. They already know your desires. And no, They're not spying on you. The other morning a woman wanted to know if Spirit could see everything. Do they know some of our dark secrets?

ALFRED:
Yes.

HANS:
Yes. And I don't care. That's human stuff and They're not bothered by that. They just see the little baby angel, that's it. So, Alfred?

ALFRED:
Less is More is also a path to spirituality. Pretty much every spiritual path will always say: Be peaceful. In order to be peaceful, you need to have less mind chatter, you need to be less human, you need to let go of expectations, opinions... all those type of human aspects in order to come to a peaceful place. And it is from that peaceful place that you not only will find happiness and bliss and joy, but it is from that peaceful place that Spirit can enter your life and work "with" you.

See spirituality is not just about finding yourself... your true spiritual self. Which is what we've talked about letting go of humanness, letting go of mind chatter, letting go of opinions... all those things. But the second path in spirituality is about your relationship with the Universe, your Guidance, Spirit, God, and how to work with Them.

And the very first stage is: Can you be peaceful and quiet enough internally that you can begin to “hear” Guidance, that you can begin to work “with” Them. So it's not just you on this path. That if you can actively let go of your humanness enough to be in a calm enough place, a peaceful enough place, a quiet enough place, in order to "hear" the Guidance that's always around you.

HANS:
The optimum word right there was to "hear." Because we can't "hear" when we're busy listening to our own thoughts.

Alright. That will conclude the lesson for today.

Topic: Communicating With Spirit
August 8, 2015

HANS:
The topic for today is "Communicating With Spirit: Intuitive Development."  Hello everyone. Welcome, welcome. What a beautiful day. I'm just looking out my windows here at all the beautiful trees. I have Pine Trees, Birch Trees, Ash Trees, Poplar Trees... You name it, it's out here. A wonderful day today here in Asheville, North Carolina.

I've been getting a few questions from people who say: How do I know what kind of gift I have? Well as most of you know, there's the ability to be clairsentient. There's the ability to be clairvoyant... clairaudient... some of you have healing energies... some of you have a combination of all of these. So let's talk about the first one - clairsentience.

Clairsentience is an ability to receive information from The Other Side without necessarily seeing it or hearing anything. And I've often said some of the greatest Mediums I have even known, never saw anything, never heard anything. But they have what we call "a quiet knowing" or "a quiet understanding." Now Alfred had that in the beginning and he was able to develop that and he's still doing so. Almost everyone, at some level, is clairsentient.

ALFRED:
Yes. Everyone has the ability to receive information from Spirit. At least on a clairsentient level. What that means is that you can interpret the frequency and vibration and the energy of Spirit. Some call it a gut feeling, some call it woman's intuition, sometimes you've said I just feel I should do this or say that. That is clairsentience. Everyone has that. The question is whether or not you pay attention to it.

HANS:
Now, in the classes that we give on-line and in-person, one of our jobs is to help you to understand the call signs for what you do have. And many of you, I'm very delighted to say, have begun to work with your clairsentient abilities, begun to help open some doors for you. And this really makes a difference when you get an impression and then you follow through with the impression. And you say: Oh my gosh, I knew that. I don't know how I knew it, but I knew it.

I'd like to talk a little bit longer about what are the possibilities in being clairsentient. And one of the possibilities is to walk with your hand holding Spirit. In other words, to believe that you are being given and fed information... not questioning it whatsoever... just knowing it. And when you do that, your broad-band of your intuitive development center opens wider. And speaking of broad-band... Alfred?

ALFRED:
So what we're trying to say is has to do with Trust, Faith, and Belief. Trust that what is coming through is actually for you. Faith that there are people above you watching over you that are there for your highest good. Belief that you can actually receive information from your Guidance. The more that you surrender into those, the more you will be able to use your clairsentient abilities.

HANS:
And the big lesson in this is Trust and Belief. If you continue to look for what you think you had you're going to block it from coming in. Your job is to "know" you have never not been disconnected. Never. You can never be disconnected from Spirit. That's impossible.

So when you begin to say: Oh, I already am connected. I'm just learning how to work with this connection. The doors open even wider. Being clairsentient means: I believe, I trust. How did that work for you in the beginning, Alfred?

ALFRED:
It was pretty scary.

HANS:
Yeah.

ALFRED:
It was really scary when you first start trying to believe that there is something that you can understand... that you've never read, that you've never talked about, that you never studied, that you never learned, you've never watched on television, but all of a sudden this information comes to you. That really scares the heck out of your brain.

HANS:
It does. The brain doesn't know how to deal with it. The brain knows how to deal with what it calls a "known." But an "unknown" is another matter entirely. So folks, if you feel that you are clairsentient, then your job is to work on your belief system. That's going to be the key here, to grow that. Working on the belief system.

ALFRED:
So onto the next topic. Let's get over to more mediumistic skills. Clairsentience is more of a psychic skill. Psychics interpret the energy and the vibration of Spirit, of Guidance. More mediumistic skills, the first one is clairvoyance – is the ability to receive images from The Other Side.

HANS:
Now, if you're clairvoyant, which so many of you are, you would have, since childhood, gotten little flashes of wisdom... little pictures... little quiet understandings. And those things tended to happen. They tended to come true. You may have seen shadows. You may have seen misty clouds. Those are all part of the development of intuitive aspects of your body.

Spirit, in the beginning, has to readjust the electromagnetic energy in your system in order to become more in-line with their energy. So, as you raise your vibration, their job is to lower theirs. Okay? Until you get somewhere in the middle where it makes it easier to communicate. And that's exactly what happens is we teach you how to get in-line with spiritual vibration.

One of the things that I think is very important is that you not try so hard. Have a quiet knowing that you're clairvoyant and The Spirit is working with you. But when you sit real hard and you try to manifest something or see something, you really lose the value of the natural flow of the energy. Alfred, any comments?

ALFRED:
With all spiritual practices, your first job is to surrender, is to let go, is to be a blank slate. And to wait for something to come "to" you. It's not your job to go out and get the images. It's your job to be calm, to be peaceful, to be in a meditative state, and wait for Spirit to give you information.

In this place, you're waiting for them to give you a picture. Now it's very, very important during the development of your clairvoyance is to explain to The Other Side when you get something. To say: I see red... I see blue... I see pink. A lot of times our students start out by seeing just a single color.

HANS:
Yes. Oftentimes a color or a shape. A lot of times people will see circles or squares or again a puff of smoke. These are all indications that you are operating closer and closer with The Spirit. I used to tell these things to Alfred and he used to say I was not playing with a full deck. Now he doesn't say that anymore.

ALFRED:
So as you're developing your clairvoyance, you need to communicate with The Other Side what you're getting. And the more you tell The Other Side what you're getting, the more They can say: Okay, let's try to work in a similar way and the more detailed the pictures will become.

HANS:
Absolutely. So just know that yes you can. Yes you can. It's a matter of working hard at it and accepting it. And we teach you all these things on our website and in all the classes that we do. Now the next thing I'd like to talk about is one that's been very dear and near to my heart for years and that's clairaudience.

Clairaudience is the ability to actually hear The Spirit, hear voices. Sometimes people say: Well I hear like when I walk into a certain room in my house... or I walk down the hallway, I can hear a little rustling sound or I hear what I think are voices... very muted, very muffled. What is that? You're passing very, very close to what I call a little vortex in spiritual energy that allows you to actually hear that.

That's a very good sign for those of you who are developing your clairsentient abilities. Many times, many times, you'll hear your name called. Alfred, the other day you heard you name called I think.

ALFRED:
As clear as a bell. I thought it was Hans calling my name.

HANS:
Once that process begins, over time, The Spirit begins to open the door if They see the person is not being frightened by the event. They open the door to help that person to develop their clairaudience.

So these three things that we're talking about today are all handled in our Intuitive Development Class.

ALFRED:
Yes. But one thing that we try to explain to you in the Class, and we're just giving you a little tidbit here, is everyone is clairsentient. Everyone can receive vibration, energy, guidance from Spirit. Some people are clairvoyant and can receive pictures. Mediumistic skills that we're talking about here, such as the ability to "hear" The Other Side are reserved for Royalty... Great Masters...

HANS:
(Laughing)

ALFRED:
So if you're hearing voices, that's actually really good.

HANS:
That's a a really good sign. And some people, like we say, are possessed of all three. But they don't know and psychiatrists tend to call it crazy.

ALFRED:
And we're trying to telling you that's a really great thing.

HANS:
Congratulations is what we're trying to say.

ALFRED:
You can actually have communication with The Other Side as if you're having communication with someone here. And what we're trying to say here is communication, it is a two-way communication, in all three types of ways that we're reviewing. Especially in clairaudience, it's not just about "hearing," it's about your ability to speak back with The Other Side.

HANS:
I had a very interesting question come in the other day. Does your environment... can it hinder or help your development? The answer to that is: Yes. If you live in a very stressful city in a very stressful place, then you need to turn your home into a sanctuary or a room into a sanctuary where peace is what you hear. Having a water feature, for instance, a little fountain which you can even produce on your computer to drown out background noise is important.

I used to have a very large group and we had always sat with a water feature because it was in the business section in Los Angeles and another one in the Bay Area. And it harmonizes better. So try to find a safe place. So for those of you who live in a big, bustling city, don't think you can't do this. You can, but with certain little preparations.

The biggest thing we hear, where we live, are the birds. Alfred's birds. He feeds the birds. Last night Alfred was blessed to have seven raccoons on the deck. And the raccoons are now are so big that they can't get through the slats on the deck. They have to climb over the deck.

ALFRED:
They're very well fed.

HANS:
They eat better than he does, let's put it that way. Okay?

Alrighty, I think that will conclude the lesson for today.

June 27, 2015

HANS:
Hello everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome. You should see the hoops we're having to jump through in order to be able to do this today but it makes us happy to be able to get to you. The topic for today is "Ignoring The Illusion." You know folks, in life, you often heard me say that: Life is nothing more than an illusion. And I preface it by saying: You know, there's nothing going on in your life that you did not create. The mind, however, is an entirely different entity and it actually believes that these are real problems... that these things that you're going through you need to be concerned about, you need to be worried about.

This month I asked my dear friend Melinda to please write about this subject. And I have to tell all of you, she's done a terrific job and you'll see it in the Newsletter which will be coming out when, Alfred?

ALFRED:
We usually do them in the first week of each month and there's about 2 or 3 years of Articles and Spiritual Topics specifically for women. You can find those in the Newsletter, or you can go to HansKing.com and under "Free Resources" you can find the "Free Articles for Women."

HANS:
Life, as we know it, is based on what each one of us is busy creating. Okay? That's something that's very, very hard for people to grasp. They believe what they're seeing is real. But folks, everyday in your life you pass through other people's emotions, other people's creations. So nothing is actually planned folks. Spirit has an overall plan for all of us and we stay on that. But everything else... how you arrive at your destination is entirely up to you. Okay?

And so having a quiet understanding that: Oh, wait a minute, this isn't real... I had a dear lady friend of mine email me the other day and her life has just gotten so complex. She's worried about money, she's worried about being alone, she's worried about whether she'll lose her job, she's worried about whether she'll make her mortgage payment, her light bill was too high... this and that. It's just non-stop. But none of it is "real" and none of it is "true." But the mind chatter continues to invest in the appearance of it. And the more the mind chatter invests in the appearance of it, the larger it gets and seems to become "real."

This is why I say to you... You know I did a lecture at Agape some years ago and one of the questions that I asked was... about 1,400 people in the audience, I said: Can anyone in this room tell me what's going on in their life that they did not create? And nobody raised their hand... nobody. But you also don't sit around and sit that I'm making up this stuff either... for yourself. You know you're having these fears and doubts but you normally don't say: Am I just making this up? Is this real? Why am I lending energy to this?

So one of the things that Alfred and I teach is when you learn to start to pull yourself back from the appearance of what you've created, your whole life as you have known it, changes immediately. Alfred, any words on this?

ALFRED:
One thing about ignoring the illusion that we want you to understand is how much your mind tries to trick you into making what it thinks is "real". It's not just that mind chatter reminds you of the past or makes you worried about the future. But it makes you "feel" as though those things are actually "real." And the truth is - it's the past, it's gone, it doesn't exist. But your mind will not just simply remind you of what happened. It will remind you of the emotion, or it will remind you of the pain like it was yesterday. And you need to ask yourself when you're feeling something that's in the past to say: How real does it feel? But how long ago really was it? Was it last year, five years ago, ten years ago, twenty years ago?

HANS:
Exactly.

ALFRED:
But your mind is making it "feel" like it was yesterday. That's not the truth. That's an illusion. And the same thing also with the future is if your mind is making you worried about something that does not exist, because the future does not exist yet, it feels like it is "real." What if this could happen? What if that happens? And your mind makes you start freaking out and worrying like it is the truth. Like it is actually happening. And you're getting all stressed. And the reality is it's an illusion. Your mind is making you feel stressed about something that doesn't exist.

HANS:
And I've noticed, Alfred, that through the years when Spirit and I in our sessions try to remove those fears and those doubts from the people, they try desperately to hang onto them.

ALFRED:
And that's what we're trying to say is just because you "feel" something is real, doesn't mean it is real. It is an illusion. Okay? So it's not just that your mind presents you with false truths in its speaking but it makes you "feel" things that are not true also. And it really detaches us from a state of ease, it detaches us from our peacefulness, it detaches us from who we really are.

HANS:
And as we've always taught you - No two things can be in the same place at the same time. So when you're busy running all of this stuff... How often, Alfred, have both of us heard: I don't think Spirit hears me. They hear you. You have no place to hear Them. You're too busy manufacturing all of these illusions and not only, children, do you manufacture them, you spend time and effort investing in them, re-creating them over and over and over again.

So it's really important to sit down and ask yourself: Wait a minute. Is in fact any of this true? And what you're going to find out is: No, it's not true. But your mind chatter will try to tell you that the illusion is real because it created it. And like Alfred said earlier, it's always a matter of what "could" happen.

ALFRED:
Yes. For things in the future, things that "could" happen, there is a difference between thinking about something in the future that "could" happen and what your mind does to you which is making you believe that it is "real" and that you should actually prepare yourself and feel for that thing that is real that doesn't exist in the future.

HANS:
(Laughing) I know that if you're listening to this now. Alfred's smiling. It does sound funny - but it's true. Have you noticed that most of the questions that come into this Show are questions about what "might" be going to happen? And them some of them are about "why did that happen"... which used to be a "what if this happens?" Because being in the human form we tend to take the improbable and turn it into the appearance of reality. Have you noticed that, Sir?

ALFRED:
Especially if something has happened to you in the past, your mind wants to protect you. It wants to control the distinct possibility that what it's telling you is the truth and it's going to happen again and you need to protect yourself. And it needs to remind you of what happened, so that you can remember what happened, and you can feel what happened, in case it happens to you again.

HANS:
Exactly. It tries to reinforce itself.

ALFRED:
So the funny thing is that your mind is actually bringing to you that which you're trying to avoid.

HANS:
Exactly.

ALFRED:
How's that one for a "why?" So you're trying to avoid the thing. But in the reality, your mind is bringing it to you every single day by you thinking about it and the mind makes you "feel" like it actually is happening. So if you think about that, your mind is actually really convoluted. But it's so hard and that's what we're trying to tell you, is to tell the difference between something that isn't "real" - the past and the future... in this case the past, something that happened. It's over.

Now we do have a lot of Advanced Meditations in the Intuitive Development Class that help you separate who you are from things that happened in the past. We're trying to tell you right now just to be "aware" that your mind is doing these things "to" you. It's much more advanced to say: Okay, now that I'm aware that these things are lie, what do I do with the lies? How do I handle them?

So what we're talking about is whether your mind chatter is making you believe or feel something is the truth is really to dissect the matter and determine: Is this truth? Is this real?

HANS:
That's the key point, Alfred, right there. Is it truth? No fear is truth. Now there are moments in our life where somebody may cut us off on the freeway or there's a close call with another person in some sort of endeavor you're doing where fear will come up.

ALFRED:
Or your child is running around the house with a knife.

HANS:
Yes, well that would do it.

ALFRED:
Yes, that's real fear.

HANS:
Did you ever do that, Alfred? Or was it a broomstick or a baseball bat?

ALFRED:
We used to play with elastics. Like shoot elastics. And my parents would always scream: Be careful! It's going to hit you in the eye! And one day it did. The elastic went in the wrong direction... That's real. Okay? But the majority of what your mind tells you we want you to take a look at and dissect it calmly and say: Is it real? Is it really appropriate that I'm on high alert feeling these emotions.

HANS:
So basically what we're saying to you is investing in the illusion of what the mind chatter is creating takes you directly away from your ability to engage Spirit. And the more you do that, the more you invest, the less and less and less... And then you wind up emailing Alfred and I and say: Where has God gone? Where has Spirit gone? They haven't gone anywhere - you have. The adage is that: No two things can be in the same place at the same time.

ALFRED:
And what we're trying to tell you is: God is always there. Guidance is always there. Spirit is always there. Universal energy, abundance, love - that is always there. The question is: Are you allowing your humanness to separate you from that which always is? Okay? Let me say that again: Are you allowing yourself to separate from that which always is? Are you allowing your mind chatter, are you allowing these feelings to come in and take over you and separate you and block that which always is around you?

HANS:

We do that ourself, children. We simply do it ourself. Alfred, I think that will conclude the lesson for today.

Topic: Online Social Life
May 24, 2015

HANS:
Hello everybody. Today's topic is "Online Social Life.” This is a question that my friend Dan has asked me quite a few times... and I've kind of avoided it and I know I shouldn't have done that. Because Spirit is ready to address anything.

But, folks there's a huge amount of people... many of them very young people coming into this world who actually believe that life originates out of the computer screen. Now hear me through, don't get made at me... they do. And they move all of their life - hopes, desires, problems, personal satisfactions out of the computer screen.  And they're beginning to believe that's what life is.

I can remember a time when I had to pull Alfred up short because everywhere we went he brought his iPhone and every time we sat down he was taking emails and sending texts. And I had to say to him: Wait a minute. That's not life. He said to me: What do you mean? I said: No, no, no. That's what you do, that's not your life. And he wanted to argue with me... and then he began to see how dependent he had become.

Alfred, throw something in with this will me will you?

ALFRED:
Business online is a wonderful tool. It really helps you communicate with others. But, of course, what we're talking about here is spiritually speaking... Are you looking for a social life or even meaning online? Could looking for meaning or social life online lead to happiness or could it lead to depression?

HANS:
Exactly, Alfred. And that, Alfred, is one of my main concerns. We have an awful lot of lonely youngsters, teenage children, young adults, who... for whatever their situation is at home are longing for some companionship, for someone to see them, for someone to understand who they are and where they are and what their frustrations are. And they believe they can get that through the computer. But mostly, Alfred, somebody will sell something to these people.

And so one of my pet peeves is that we don't steer our children back out into society at an early age through games, or through fun classes, theater, music, all kinds of stuff that are out there for youngsters today. We don't do that. We keep babysitting them with the computer. And what you're doing is destroying the childrens ability to form natural relationships. The relationships like I had, Alfred had, my parents, his parents, all of your parents out there.

We did not have the computer to tell us who we were and who we could become if you believe the computer. All the computer is there to do is deliver information. And much of it, when you are searching, has to do with buying something. So what I'm trying to get across to people is it may be time to look at the way we hold value in our children. Because so many kids are so very lonely. They come from, perhaps broken homes, their parents may not be able to see who they are.

And there is this quiet frustration and anger. And may I say folks - suicide. If you can believe that. Suicide from youngsters who feel so alone. They feel there's absolutely no hope. Nobody will every hear them. Nobody will ever see them. But we do have organizations that help these children. We do have groups... even Government money has been thrown into trying to help people to see there's life outside of the computer.

Now about 2 years ago, I think it was, Alfred, maybe 3 years ago, I was blessed to be able to be Keynote Speaker at Agape's Revelation... where we're going next week. But one of my joys was I got to speak to the Young People's Group. And they were just the same as any other kids. They were blown away. They finally got to see what I do and one kid said: Oh, I used to do that when I was a kid. How do you get back and do that? They're involved in programs with each other. They were learning how to communicate with each other. And my heart just soared. It was a big hit.

And as we go down life's path I want to do more of those. Helping people to understand, helping these kids to understand that they are somebody. Not waiting to become somebody... that they already are. And I want the kids out there to know, that however you perceive God to be, it does not love anyone more than you. You are the reflection of God in human form.

Alfred, when did you come across that awareness for yourself?

ALFRED:
Really when I sold a phone and didn't have a phone for a month. (Alfred chuckling)

HANS:
Oh, I remember that. I was a little worried for you honestly. (Hans chuckling)

ALFRED:
Yes. I actually went through withdrawals. I actually forced myself, on purpose, to sell my phone early and knowing I was going to wait for a new phone to really wean myself off of it that I realized how addicted I was. And that was something I really didn't even realize is that people are searching for meaning, people are searching for something online.

And Hans, what's your opinion of "are online relationships as satisfying as real relationships?"

HANS:
Oh, absolutely not. No, no, no, no. You have to develop, Alfred, a relationship by being "with" someone. Even if its going for a coffee or the two of you sitting on the beach watching seagulls walk by. That's how you develop a relationship. You do not develop a relationship electronically. I don't care what any scientist out there tells me. You will not have the same impact on your life from a computer generated relationship as you will from a personal related person... a person who is relating to you, a person who can see you, a person who gives you actual hugs... a somebody who kisses you on the forehead and says: I see your value. I get who you are. I really like being with you.

You can't get that on a computer, Alfred. And where my fear comes is that no matter how many of these computers are going to be around, for a long time, in the end it will always boil down to the need for human companionship - always.

ALFRED:
And that's what I see as the major issue is people are trying to "replace" human contact with things like posts and tweets.

HANS:
Yes.

ALFRED:
And what we're trying to say is "no," you have to start from having human contact.

HANS:
That's right.

ALFRED:
And if it's fine for your human friends that you have human contact with to tweet them and post them once in awhile. But a lot of the depression is that people are thinking they don't need to go out, they don't need to interact, that they're going to get the same type of meaning, the same type of fulfillment by using Facebook and Twitter. And what we're really telling you is that could lead to serious depression.

HANS:
Very much so... and to suicidal thoughts.

ALFRED:
Yes.

HANS:
That, folks, is a proven fact now.

ALFRED:
So if you're online a lot and you're feeling depressed, what we want you to consider is the place that you're looking for happiness may be leading you in a direction different from what you're seeking.

HANS:
Yes. And you know it doesn't make any difference who you perceive yourself to be. God and Spirit perceive you to be love personified. And even though you look around your life, kids, and you say: But, there's nothing here for me. It's because you're not creating anything. Maybe you come from a broken home, maybe something bad happened to you as a child and you don't trust society anymore... But Spirit loves you. Every single one of you.

And when you put yourself into a position that says: You know what? There's got to be something more than this. There's got to be something more than me sitting here 15 hours a day playing on the computer and trying to find romance... trying to find someone who sees me. It won't happen. They're all temporary. It's all a mirage. It's all an illusion. And in the end you'll be left empty handed.

Kids, get out there. There are hundreds of clubs, if not thousands, in this nation of ours who will help you if you're straight, if you're gay, if you're bi-gender, it doesn't matter. What matters is you get out and you interact with other kids and young people who are going through the exact same thing that you are. And you're going to find that you'll meet somebody and they'll say: You know what? I really feel a lot like you.

And I want you to know that in that moment when you hear someone say: I can feel you... Oh, my God there's another one, I'm not the only one. Your life changes for the rest of your life in that moment. Okay? And kids, and you adults also, this scolding from Uncle Hansie - stop that incessant putting everything you are and everything you do on the internet. It is going to come back and bite you. So bad is it that even our President has said to the kids: Don't do it.

And some of the accounts out there, that own these accounts, are saying: You know what? You're putting too much information out here. Hold something back that is called "you." Don't confuse who you are with what you do. I don't care that you put out there what you do, but I care a lot that you put out there who you are. Because you don't want anybody out there to be aware of who your little baby angel is until you want to share that with a partner.

ALFRED:
I think it's that people are really trying to replace real life with an online life which is why they're so willing to post absolutely everything. I don't need to this in real life because I can do it online...

HANS:
Right.

ALFRED:
And what we're trying to say is: No...

HANS:
No, you can't.

ALFRED:
First comes your "real" life. And do a couple of things here and there online. But if you're depressed searching for "meaning" and you're replacing physical contact with online interaction, then you really need to take a look at it. Because you're losing your social skills by being only online. You're losing physical contact by being online. You're not feeling anyone's presence. You're not feeling anyone's touch.

HANS:
That's very important. Even a hug, Alfred... for a lot of these people. No...

ALFRED:
A hug, a handshake, what's it like just to be in someone else's presence. All of these things you do not get from online. That energy... you share energy, you share emotions with other people. And the human body needs those things.

HANS:
Absolutely. We were born for love. We were born for affection. And you cannot, children, get that on a computer. You just simply can't. And I hate to say this to you but many of the online relationship people who have said: Oh, I found somebody. I would say to you that 50% of those have dissolved already.

You have to build it. It's a good way to open a door for you. Because what so many kids and young people have out there today, Alfred, is a No Vacancy sign on their forehead. Because something has burned them, something has hurt them. Maybe someone said that they weren't attractive. Maybe somebody said they'll never amount to anybody. But they need to know that the Spirit, when it  looks at you, says: Oh, my goodness you're perfect for me. And God says: You're perfect for me.

And I'm not going off on a religious path. I'm just telling you you guys need to go back to the source. The emotional source where all human beings is that we're baby angels in human form. Pure and simple. And there are organizations, there's social clubs, meeting clubs - free things - won't cost you a dime, that just go sit and listen to somebody or some music. Your chances of meeting people are very, very good if you simply shut off the No Vacancy sign.

ALFRED:
Yeah. And just make an effort. For example, "Meetup." Yes, it's online, but you schedule meeting other people in person. And there's a Meetup on just about every topic in the entire world. There are spiritual groups, there are book clubs, poetry clubs, hiking clubs, bicycling clubs...

HANS:
There's more of that in the United States than anywhere else on earth, Alfred.

ALFRED:
And whether you look on meetup.com or just search for local groups another place, the point is to get "offline" and actually have physical contact with people. Yes, it may be awkward because you have to have a little bit of social skills, but you need...

HANS:
Yeah, but you can't learn social skills without being social.

ALFRED:
That's the whole point is you're going to lose social skills by being online... But get off, get interacting with people. Then you'll find what you're looking for.

HANS:
Absolutely. And you know, Alfred, there's a large group of my clients, that are basically hard working people. Most of them are single. They go to work and they stop at the grocery store and they get home and they say: I'm too tired to go anywhere. Somewhere in that week you can find something you can do where you don't get up the next day to work and you can go and do it. I had one lady say to me: Oh, I'm terrified of driving at night. I said: Have a friend take you. Get out of the house.

ALFRED:
Take a taxi...

HANS:
Exactly.

ALFRED:
Just take a taxi. Go to a bar. You don't want to drive anyway.

HANS:
No. And don't go to a Movie because that's more, you know, closing yourself in. When Alfred says: Go to a bar. He doesn't mean to get drunk. He means: Go around. There's some Jazz Bars, there's all kinds of young organizations that play music and have non-alcoholic beverages, and they have all kinds of hiking, swimming classes... All of that stuff. It's out there.

And for you older people who have given up... you 55, 60 year olds who have given up, you're doing that to yourself because there are plenty of people out there that would love to get a hug by you... plenty of people who would like to share their children with you and you share your children with them.

ALFRED:
Things like classes for us younger to middle-aged kids, take a class at a community college. I took a Welding Class last year.

HANS:
You had a ball.

ALFRED:
It was absolutely hilarious! Take a class. What's it going to cost you at a Community College - $50. You don't need social skills. You sit there and talk about whatever the class is. Take a Cooking Class. Okay? All of these options are to get out and meet other people.

And for those of you sick of the bar scene... Well, yeah, there's a reason you're sick of the bar scene because it's all about ego, it's all about alcohol. So that's what I mean. In a Meetup group, find something you like to do, whether it's a common interest like biking, roller blading, art, poetry...

HANS:
Well there's just so many things out there now, Alfred.

ALFRED:
Yes. Just check meetup.com and use that to get offline and interacting with other people so you can find what you're looking for.

HANS:
Folks, have you ever noticed that when you're using the computer how fast the time goes? You suddenly look up and you started at 7:30 after dinner and it's a quarter to 10? And you accomplished absolutely nothing. If you took that time to run down to your local book store... Because most of the good book stores have speakers for free, doesn't cost you a dime, you don't have to buy anything whatsoever... Just little things like that. That's what Alfred and I are talking about.

Make yourself available for you to get out to become someone... risk becoming someone other than that person who's becoming reclusive, who's becoming housebound, who's only safe going to the market and work and back. Be something better than that.

Alfred, I think that will conclude the lesson for today.
