December 20, 2015

HANS:
This is the time of year—and over the last three or four weeks we’ve been talking about letting go of old things, building a new place for new things, trusting—this is a great time for what I like to call spiritual renewal. Because what’s really happening is, I look out my window and all my green trees are now brown and gray, and yet because of that, there’s more light coming into the house. You see?

And so, there’s all these possibilities when we look at things and we think they’re a certain way, that doesn’t mean they’re that way. When you start to set yourself with the intention of, “I wonder what next year is going to bring? I wonder what these holidays will bring?”

The holidays should bring you back to you. Give yourself a hug. Give yourself a gift. We went to see a movie the other night called “The Intern.” I couldn’t recommend it more. Wonderful, fun, kind, spiritual movie. Go along and see it. Little things that you could do for yourself during the holidays makes the Spirit smile. Sometimes we find ourselves alone, in the appearance of being alone, during the holidays. What are the possibilities in that? Getting to know yourself a little better. Sleeping in a little longer. Doing something for yourself. Calling an old friend. Emailing someone can bring a smile on their face. There’s all kinds of wonderful things you can do.

Alfred and I tried to go see “Star Wars,” and we got caught up in the traffic, and there was no way in the world—Alfred even bought the tickets online—we could even get near the theatre. Everybody in the mall going last minute shopping. That’s not what the holidays are about. The holidays are about reflection. Remember I was telling Alfred about the Christmas’s past I was so thrilled to have been part of. All of those people are gone now, but oh my goodness, it brings a smile to my face to remember the decorations, and now in this time, I have new friends. Alfred and I are speaking to people. Alfred is doing a bunch of stuff online with people he hasn’t seen in twenty years. There’s tons of possibilities at this time of the year. Then when we turn our little heads from what was, was is, to what’s going to be, we look at the vast 2016 landscape and there’s nothing there. Isn’t that wonderful? Because at the holiday time, the Spirit gives you the tools for the new beginning. You know that, don’t you, Alfred?

ALFRED:
Spirit gives you the tools for the new beginning during the holiday times.

HANS:
Always.

ALFRED:
Well, the last couple of shows we’ve been talking about letting go and making space, and that’s what’s most important. The truth is the energy for possibilities is always there. What we’re saying is, this is a wonderful time to make space for those possibilities, to let go of things, so you have room, you’re available for what could come to you. You’re not in control, holding on to the thing disconnecting yourself from your possibilities, so for the last few weeks we’ve been talking about letting go, clearing, making space. The holidays and the end of the year are a good time so that you can start your new beginnings.

HANS:
You remember, kids, the early years of this show, and I used to talk about your chalkboard is how you act out your life and at a certain point you’ve written so much on the chalkboard that there’s really no more room to write anything new. No room to talk about possibilities, it’s done. And remember we talked about the void and I said the void is a time Spirit uses to erase your chalkboard. You flail and kick and moan and groan, the same thing you did at school when the teacher started to erase it, and you hadn’t copied everything yet. Well, that’s what Spirit does during the holidays for so many of us. They begin to erase the chalkboard. But remember what Spirit said to you, They always give you new chalks. Many colored chalks, which are possibilities. So when the board is erased and you think you’re at the end and there’s nothing you can look forward to and you’re sitting there wondering, “What’s going to happen now? I don’t like my job,” or “I don’t have a job, I don’t have a partner, I don’t like the partner I’m with. What’s going to happen for me?” Spirit is listening. And They’re saying, “Remember the chalks.”

So for all of you, when you turn and you look at the empty space, or the void of your existence, that’s the time when you should party. When you should go out, enjoy yourself. Say, “I don’t know what’s coming up, but I know my God loves me, Spirit loves, is giving me new chalks, and next year I can’t wait to see the end of the year to see what’s happened.” That’s what you all should be doing.

ALFRED:
I saw a little hint one time that said, every time something really good happens to you, write it down on a piece paper and put it into a jar and at the end of the year read all those little pieces of paper so that you can remember all the goodness that happened to you throughout the year.

HANS:
Do you remember some years ago when Oprah had that grateful thing on her show and she asked us to everyday write down one thing you were grateful for that day, and then at the end of the year you’ll have three hundred and something things you were grateful for. And go back and read those. We forget the good that happens in the year. We only concentrate on what we perceived is the bad and what we perceived didn’t happen.

ALFRED:
And that’s tough. A lot of us fall into that human-ness of thinking about what you don’t have, instead of remembering that your glass is half full.

HANS:
Always.

ALFRED:
Put your energy toward the positive.

HANS:
You know as you grow older, what you learn is that the only value in life is love. Nothing else holds any value, the rest is ego. What didn’t happen, who didn’t show up, it’s all ego.

The truth of the matter is, we are these baby angels having a human experience. You hear me talk about it all the time, and if we have a demon, if we have a devil, it is our own mind chatter. And our mind chatter continues to get in our way year after year after year, and reminds us of all the things we didn’t get, what didn’t happen, “Oh and this could happen or that could happen. I didn’t like doing this,” or “I didn’t like doing that.” We all forget we made it. We got here, by hook or by crook, but we got here.

Next year, I think we’ll be going in our sixth year of doing the show, next April, and when we started this, we had, I think, eight people. Now we’re all over the world. So just to help you out here, folks, remember when you can’t see anything, hear anything, feel anything, you’re perfect at that moment. Because that’s the moment Spirit is using to re-define your energy. To pull together the things you’re hoping you can experience.

Remember always, the first seven days of January, sets the intention for the year. Everybody listening? Hello? First seven days. Make a list of what you would like to experience in the coming year. Not what you want children, what you would like to experience, it’s two different things. Put that in an envelope, put the date on it, put your name on it and put it in a drawer. Next January, have a look-see. See how much of that has come true.

The reason I ask you to do this is going back to our teachings about setting your intentions. Energy following thought. When you understand that you’ve set your intention, then you can have a quiet expectation that Spirit already heard that. They’ll take care of it. Don’t worry. Be happy.

And that will conclude the lesson for today.

HANS:
Hi, everyone. When we come onto this plane, we’re given a clean vessel. We’re given a bag of goodies to play with. Those are all of our dharmic lessons and karmic lessons and all the things we wanted to go through, so we’re born with a clean slate.

Now, in one of the bags there’s a little bag that says ‘leftover business,' and in that bag that says ‘leftover business’ are things we didn’t quite get to last time, or we weren’t happy with the results we got from trying to learn that lesson. So that’s thrown into the mix, but it’s never the largest bag. The largest bag is the empty vessel. And as we start to go through life we start adding more and more and more and more to the vessel. And eventually, if we’re not careful, we get to the top where we can’t put another thing into the vessel.

What do we do? What happens? How do you let go of stuff you think is so important to you? I want everyone, tonight, tomorrow, to sit down quietly and make a list of all the things you thought you were going to do at this time last year. What was going to be your New Year’s resolution for January? Did you make a list? Have you checked them out?

What we tend to do, is we make our list of New Year’s resolutions in our consciousness or on a piece of paper, but we never finish them. And so each year as we go along that list gets bigger and bigger and these down here become, "Gee, I wish I could have. Gee, I wish I had done that."

This time we’re going to ask you to begin to clear the slate. How do you let go of something that you think is very important to you? Is it important to you or are you just holding it in memory? Are you holding on to an old relationship that didn’t work? Because it could have worked? Or maybe you should have done something better?

Are you holding onto regret? Are holding on to, Gee I wish I had not said that. Are you holding onto to anything that isn’t a positive—that’s the key—a positive in your life. Have you set your intentions now to look at all the stuff you're dragging along like this old Santa Claus?

When I first met Alfred he had a bag of Santa Claus things, that was huge. Remember that?

ALFRED:
Well, that’s what we’re taught. We’re taught you're responsible for creating your life, it’s up to you. You don’t get what you deserve; you get what you negotiate. So we’re taught this is the thing that has to create your long term goals you have to go after them, how am I doing compared to my goals? Well, that’s all separation. That’s called you by yourself trying to figure out your life. We say, there’s a different option.

The other option is there’s an army of supporters who are there waiting to help you as long as you stop disconnecting from those people, by thinking, by trying to control the outcome, by this old bag of stuff, you are separating yourself from that which you asked for.

HANS:
Very important what you just said—that you asked for. Most people I find become a victim not knowing they actually asked for the experience. I asked for my family.

ALFRED:
Yes. You asked for your family. Believe it or not.

HANS:
That’s a hard one.

ALFRED:
What we’re trying to say is, what to look to let go of. So the things you want to let go of are creating the opportunities for a blank space to allow things to come into your life. Step one is about surrendering. Surrendering how you think it has to be, surrendering what you thought had to happen, surrendering going back after goals, surrendering going back after your New Year’s resolution, right Hans?

HANS:
Exactly. So this is the time to make it okay. What I want you to hear today folks is—it’s okay. We’re not perfect. If we were perfect, we wouldn’t be here. I’m so far from perfect, I’m pleased. It’s okay. It’s okay to say, well I’ve held onto this too long without being guilty of hanging onto it.

I have clients and friends today who are holding onto relationships that they had thirty years ago and still bemoaning them. What if I’d said this? What if I’d got done that? This is the time that you’re going to make that list of all the things that are not working for you because we have to clear the vessel. We have a saying in my profession—no two things can be in the same place at the same time. You’ve heard me say this for years, but do you actually hear that? For all that you wanted, all that you’re going to try to pull in your life, where are you going to put it if there’s no place?

ALFRED:
The first step is to start creating the list.

HANS:
Yes, that’s the key.

ALFRED:
The list of all the things you want to let go of.

HANS:
And Alfred, that’s not easy to do.

ALFRED:
No. No, it’s not easy to do but basically what makes you unhappy, what makes you upset, what makes you stressed, where do you see you’re trying to control your life?

HANS:
Yes, and where are you putting all your energy that isn’t working?

ALFRED:
So the first step is to create that list. To be aware, to be conscious, to set your intention to say you know this is stuff I’m going to let go of.

HANS:
And again folks, just to hear Alfred and I talk about it sounds easy. No, it’s not. Alfred, you’re still working on some stuff. I’m still working on stuff.

ALFRED:
So lesson two is, how when you have your list of things to let go of, how do you let go of things you’ve been holding onto for awhile?

HANS:
By refusing to fund energy to them anymore. Now have we come full circle here? Once again, what does it come back to? The mind chatter. Because as you start to let go, as you make your list the next couple of days folks, watch the mind chatter sneak in. Watch the mind chatter try to sabotage the intention.

ALFRED:
So what we’re trying to do is severe your energetic connection between you and that person, between you and that thing, between you and that thought. There is an energetic connection between people, between thoughts, between intentions. What we’re trying to say is, number one: stop giving energy to it, and number two: come up with some implement—a large pair of scissors, a saw, whatever it is, you can picture severing the energetic connection from yourself to that thing.

HANS:
So, our mind chatter tells us what it thinks is important. Our heart tells us what we know is important. Love is important, the love of self is important. Unencumbering yourself from old fears, old doubts, is important. Learning to love the self is important. And we have folks, tons of free products online, recordings, to help you to work on this issue.

ALFRED:
So what we’re trying to say here is, it’s necessary to let go of your attachment to something so that you can create space.

HANS:
And that will conclude today’s lesson.

Topic: Holding Spiritual Energy for New Beginnings
November 14, 2015

HANS:
Hi everybody. Welcome. Today’s topic is “Holding Spiritual Energy for New Beginnings.” Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been talking about how to navigate out of your old life. How to understand what you don’t want anymore. We had you make a list of what you don’t want, and we asked you to let it go. We talked about how you do that. How do you let go of our trauma and our drama and the appearance of our life? Remember, we talked about how no two things can be in the same place at the same time, so you have to let go in order to receive. We had some really positive emails, and I thank you very much.

Now, last week we talked about putting your stuff that’s the new life you want into that space. Here’s the difficult part about that—it’s called holding the intention. Got that? Holding the intention. In the moment, so many people say, “I’ve got it! I’m going to be changing and I’m clearing my space, and here’s the new things I want to feel the energy of in my new life.” And then they set off on their journey and the phone rings. There’s a phone call from a parent or a friend. The mind starts to get engaged with the old drama, with the old problems. This is really devastating, if you allow it, because the mind is actually trying to take you back to where it was comfortable. Not to the unknown that it’s not certain of and it may not have control over. It wants to return you again to the old life which it knew well. But remember, it was that mind chatter that caused all the pain and suffering in your life. So, this is a time to say, “You know what? My resolve is so strong that I have no intentions of going backwards in order to go forwards.”

So, today is about learning how to hold your intentions. Alfred, you have some mediation exercises about holding your intention, don’t you?

ALFRED:
Many. But let’s talk on a theoretical basis and let you know what happens. When you finally set your intention to move forward, what is left of your ego is going to fight harder for survival. It will start harassing you more. It will speak louder and you will tell us, “I’m doing this right. Why is my mind chatter getting stronger?”

HANS:
And the fear will grow stronger.

ALFRED:
The fear will grow stronger. Your mind chatter will start screaming at you. This is normal.

HANS:
Absolutely normal. Maybe bring a little humor to it.

ALFRED:
Bring a little humor to it. Say, treat it as a spoiled child.

HANS:
There it goes again.

ALFRED:
What happens when you try and take a toy away from a spoiled child? It’s going to scream at you, but you have to be the parent: this is who’s in charge, this is the spoiled child, and be consistent. Eventually, the spoiled child stops kicking and screaming. The worst thing you can do is let it have it’s own way and realize if it kicks and screams, “Oh, that’s how I can get my way.” You have to be consistent.

HANS:
Boy, is that ever the truth! You must be consistent in your intention to change your behavioral patterns. You have to understand, it’s the job of the mind to try to return you to the old way of being. You come in and you talk to your heart and you say, “We must reinforce our resolve. Reinforce our resolve into the new beginning.” The mind is going to pull at you. We like to say about two weeks, if you work on it diligently, then it begins to calm down. But any change to the mind is a threat. So when your heart-mind sets out for a new beginning, you’re really notifying the fear and the mind chatter that it’s no longer necessary. That’s when it goes to war and that’s when it starts throwing its temper tantrums. But remember, just as the parent has control over the child, you have control over the temper tantrum your mind is bringing up. It will flood you with stuff that could happen—you’re going to lose your job, you’re going to get cancer, you’re going to get pneumonia, a car crash. It just throws everything it can at you, and if you just say, “I give you no more space here. I’m in a new resolve for  a peaceful approach to my new life.” You reinforce that every day. “I’m in a peaceful place in my new approach to my new life.” And you just keep reinforcing it and reinforcing it. Then, after a bit, it becomes automatic.

ALFRED:
So in summary, the first topic we’re talking about is being consistent in your resolve. Being consistent in your determination. Being consistent in your intention to go to that place that you don’t know. To go to that place that you don’t understand.

HANS:
You know, Alfred, how many times we say, “My intention is to do this.” And before we know it, without even seeing it, the mind has literally pulled us back into the old behavior. We don’t even see it coming, but it’s sneaky and it’s crafty.

ALFRED:
That’s a good one. So off to our second topic for today: how to help yourself with your resolve. Your mind will come up with various things it’s going to be saying, and there’s a lot of things you can say back to your mind. We call this reprogramming. Giving your mind chatter new things to think about. You need to tell it who’s in charge and what’s really important to you. So when your mind chatter comes and starts telling you, “No, we need to back to the old way,” there’s a lot of things that can help you talk to your mind chatter to let it know who’s in charge.

HANS:
That’s the whole thing. Letting the mind know that you and your heart and your intentions are in charge. It will argue with you. Oftentimes you’ve heard me say it’s like going to war against your own mind, but it really is. Your mind believes it’s defending you from the unknown, but if you soothe the little child inside you—we’ve often talked about getting a picture of yourself as a child and holding that picture to your chest and talking to your inner child, which is terrified of change. Terrified of making a mistake.

Folks, the only mistake you can ever make is not making a choice. One way or the other, neither one of them is a mistake. We deal with what we choose at the moment and we have the consequences in front of us. If we choose wisely the consequences are good. If we don’t choose wisely, all that happens is we go back to the old way we were being and we survive through that—and you will survive through it again. But why go there? So being involved in holding the essence of your truth is key right now. For the lady who sent me the email, “Oh, I’m so afraid of change,” the only thing to be afraid of is not changing. Change is good! Nothing remains the same, folks. Nothing.

ALFRED:
How about the mirror exercise?

HANS:
The mirror exercise is very good. This is a toughie for a lot of you, but it simply goes something like this: When you get out of your shower or bath in the morning, dry off, go up to the mirror, and drop the towel. Oh, that will give you a good shock. Look right into your eyes and say, “I don’t know who you are, but I promise you I’m going to find out. And when I do, I’m going to take very very good care of you. I promise you I’m never going to let anyone hurt you again. You are my best friend and I love you very much.”

That, Alfred, is a toughie.

ALFRED:
It is. Your heart is going to take care of you. Your mind will say we have to control the outcome, but the heart has to say the path going forward is about surrendering, about letting go, going with the flow. You’re going to be talking from your heart to your mind, whatever your human-ness is, you’re coming from who you are, the part of you that is eternal and that will continue after the body dissolves away.

HANS:
We’re all headed in the same direction, folks, toward enlightenment, but we’re all in different cars. Just know that Spirit is holding your intention with you. Always remember that. When it’s bleak and it’s scary and it’s dark, remember, Spirit has you. They’re holding you in your intention. You do the same. Can you imagine the power you can create in your life when you learn to partner with Spirit on your behalf? Endless possibilities.

And that will conclude the lesson for today!

October 24, 2015

HANS:
Hi Everyone. Today’s topic is “Fall Cleaning.” As many of you know who’ve been with the show for the last five years, my favorite season is fall. People say to me, “Why? It looks like everything’s dying!” That’s exactly why I love it so much. It’s the end of a time; and what is happening is all the old that doesn’t work anymore begins to… fade away. This is the time of year I ask you all to sit down and make a list of all the things you don’t want to participate in your life anymore. All the things that don’t work for you. Things you’re not willing to give energy to anymore.

Why do we do that? The same reason that trees shed all their leaves because new growth can’t grow where old growth is. So they have to drop their leaves, prepare to go into hibernation. Clean themselves up inside, drop the sap, and rest. And then as we get towards March and April, they begin to slowly resurrect themselves. You can do the same thing, but you don’t have to wait so long. This is the time of letting go. One of Alfred’s favorite topics is letting go.

ALFRED:
Yes, actually we have a little saying that has to do with: no two things can be in the same place at the same time.

We’ll pick an example, we get a lot of clients asking us about relationships - you’re in a relationship that’s not working, and you’re asking God - where’s my new relationship? And the most common answer is…

HANS:
...you have to let go of what you’re holding onto first.

ALFRED:
Spirit needs to see your intention, your desire, your trust. Trust, that if I let go of what I have, I trust the next stage is going to come. Hence the example of the tree letting go of its leaves - it trusts instinctively it’s going to get new leaves.

HANS:
It knows that. It’s internal. What we need to do is be more like the trees. When we make the list of the things we choose not to participate in anymore, we’re saying to God, I trust that you have another plan. I’m going to let go of what I’m holding onto now for dear life, in the knowledge that it doesn’t work for me anymore. In the knowledge, I’m going to clean myself up, I’m going to get ready for my new beginning. You see? So, in my world, letting go is gaining.

ALFRED:
Which is the opposite of what your mind tells you. It’s the time we start talking to you about mind chatter. What to look for in mind chatter when mind chatter tells you, “No, you can’t let go. What happens if you can’t get anything else and nothing else shows up?”

HANS:
Oh dear, what a painful life that could be.

ALFRED:
So I don’t want to let go of what’s causing me to be miserable, because I might not have anything. So as soon as your mind chatter tells you I can’t let go of what I have because I might get something worse, or I might not get anything or anyone, you say, “At least I’ll be peaceful.”

HANS:
Yes. The tree goes into a peaceful time. We live here in Asheville, North Carolina, and we sit in the middle of the trees and we see baby trees coming up, we see the tops of older trees, but they’re all doing the same thing, no matter what the age of the tree is - they’re letting go. And that’s the key folks, trust and believe.

The tree never wonders if it will spring to life again come next year - never! It let’s go of it’s leaves; some of those leaves may have a fungus on them, and so the letting go cleans the tree up. When a bear goes in for hibernation it never wonders whether it’s going to wake up in the spring, it knows it. When we begin to let go of the things that don’t work in our lives any more, as Alfred mentioned, the mind chatter gets very active. What do you mean? You can’t let go of this? This is all you have! When you’re hanging onto a relationship that simply doesn’t work anymore, when you’re hanging on for dear life, are you hanging on because you love the person or are you hanging on because you think that’s all you got and will ever have?

The tree knows to let go of the leaves. You don’t see the tree trying to hold on through winter with it’s leaves on. We need to also believe that when we let go and we’re willing to move forward in the light, all of our dreams suddenly are made possible.

ALFRED:
And that brings us up to topic number two. What happens after you let go?

HANS:
If you’re in human form you often go though the “Oh my God, what have I done!”

ALFRED:
Mind chatter comes up again and says, “Get him back!”

HANS:
Folks, I cannot tell you how many times I’ll be in a reading with somebody and they’ll say, “Hans, do you think I can get him back?” And I will say these words, “Well what happened to all the pain of before?”

“It’ll be different this time.”

No, it won’t. Let it go. Love the person you’re letting go, bless them, let them go, and that’s it. Know that Spirit will take them where they need to be and will open the doors because at the end of each show you hear me say - always remember, kids, God doesn’t love anyone more in this world than you - and God’s not loving that person less than God is loving you just because you have an opinion of what happened to the relationship. It’s only your opinion. That’s all it is.

ALFRED:
So after you let go, what’s in store? What happens then? That’s what we call the void. What’s the void do? It creates space.

HANS:
It creates a vacuum. We all were taught in school that a vacuum cannot exist, something comes in to fill the void, the vacuum. Your job as spiritual beings in human form is to make the void good. Make it wonderful. Don’t make it a challenge. It’s peaceful. The void is a peaceful place.

I have a rocking chair out here on my front porch that looks directly at the trees and the forest. I go out there in the morning with my coffee and I sit down, and in that moment I become one with the trees. At that moment I see squirrels, woodpeckers, voles, chipmunks, we’ve got a mama bear now with four cubs, and I become part of all I see.

ALFRED:
So it’s in the void you become clear about what you want in your life. What you don’t want in your life. What you would like with your life. You can work on cleaning other areas of your life, making sure there’s a nice clean place for the next stage in your life.

HANS:
One of the things that Spirit teaches us, Alfred, is that we can’t create a masterpiece over a masterpiece. We have to be willing to take the masterpiece we have and go hang it on the wall and start from a blank, clean place. And that’s what the void is.

ALFRED:
That’s the way a painter loves to work. The way Spirit loves to work is when they come in, a blank space. When you’re learning to channel you need to be a blank space. When you go into mediation, you search for a blank space. You are happy when you are peaceful and there is a blank space in your life. So actually having space in your life is a positive; not just for spiritual growth, not just for letting go of the things that don’t serve you anymore, but because you’re making space for the next stage in your life - whether it’s a relationship, a job, or whatever else is going away - you’re making space for the next thing to come in.

HANS:
And it always comes in. So what you want to look forward to in the void is the nothingness. That’s the key. You have an opportunity in cleaning out the old. There is an opportunity to discover the self buried under all the minutia, all the stuff you’ve piled on top of your heart, piled on top of your spiritual being. You’ve just covered it up, covered it up. There comes a time when you can say, “Oh, there you are! I forgot you!”

And so, you come in with nothing and you go out with nothing, but in the meantime, this quiet beautiful space of you exists outside of the mind - the mind chatter - so the fall is the time to begin the renewal process of our soul.

And that will conclude the lesson for today.

Topic: Spirituality and Your Career
October 17, 2015

HANS:
Hi everybody. Today’s topic is “Spirituality and Your Career.” We get a lot of questions from folks about making a living, earning money, and doing something spiritual and following your Dharma, your path in life. What is your job search like when you are transitioning out of a job that earns you money into a job that earns you money and is spiritual? How do you do that?

Guidance says, you begin the journey - and the problem we have Alfred, for ourselves, is that people want to transition and they look at me, or they look at you, and they look back and say, “Well how did they get there?”  It was a process. I always had it. Alfred is still working on it but it’s not that a bolt of lightening strikes you one day and it says,  “Now you’re in !” That’s not the way it happens. What you want to do is talk to Spirit and say, “I’m setting my intention to manifest my work with Spirit.” What They’re going to do when you do that is very slowly - and it is always slowly - it’s very rare that you wake up one morning and say - I want to be in service - and boom - the door opens and here comes the Angels and the Man and say, “Oh congratulations! You’re now in service.”

You start with the single most important thing - the intention. That’s the key.

ALFRED:
Absolutely. It’s starting the energy. This is the biggest transition that people need to understand. When working with the other side it all starts with creating the energy of something to be manifested by creating an intention. It is supported by trust, faith and belief in what you are asking the other side for is actually going to happen. That sends re-enforcement energy, re-enforcement vibrations, that the other side is actually going to follow through with that.

The other side basically answers your question immediately. However, as we know, on the physical side things take a little bit longer, which is why the faith, trust, and belief come in. But again, it all starts with changing your intention, changing your vibration, changing your approach as to how you go about looking for a job or a career or working with the other side.

HANS:
What Spirit says all the time is that you must operate from the awareness that it already is. Let’s say you’re working at a computer company and you’re doing data and all that, all very honorable, and you say, “You know Hans, I really want to be in service.” Okay, from that day forward, when you set your intention, you already are - then you must become the service by no longer wanting it. By accepting that it is so. “Today, I’m in service. I thank Spirit for the opportunity and for supporting me in my intention.” And then, as time goes by, it could be a month, it could be a year,  it could be a year and a half, but as time goes by, doors begin to open where previously there were no doors on the issue of service.

ALFRED:
And there’s a lot of choices to deal with. It’s not always crystal clear such as: I give up my job search to the other side.

The other questions we got in were how do you choose between a paying job, whether you like it or don’t like it, or doing something entrepreneurial? Being in service on your own with your own business?

HANS:
One thing you want to do always, is be grateful for what you have now. That’s one of the keys is that when you’re grateful for where you’re at — see, you forget that you’re where you used to pray to be. So, you’re there now, now what the heck do you do? So, it’s really important that we understand in the moment, “I’m here because I’m building a platform for my tomorrows and this is important, this is a springboard from my yesterdays to my new beginnings.” So, where you are at the moment, no matter what job you may have - it is a foundation or a bridge between what was and where you’re going to be.

ALFRED:
So, how do you decide? How do you know if it’s a bridge? You feel it. You go to a peaceful place and you feel. “Is this where I’m supposed to go? Is this where the flow is? Is this where the other side is leading me?” One of the basic things we teach in Intuitive Development is what is a yes and no answer?

A yes answer is a calm, high, faint, supportive energy that says - yes, this is for you. Quite simply, you put up to the other side the question, “Is this where I’m supposed to go?” And you wait for a response. It usually comes in an energetic and vibrational form. If it is not for you and you’re not supposed to go in that direction, you’ll get a heavy, deep, sometimes stressful vibration. If you have that type of feeling, that is a no answer, but you have to ask one at a time.

We got a question in from somebody who asked if they should take a job that was just offered to them or should they continue working on building their own business.

HANS:
Take the job that’s being offered in the awareness it’s being offered to get them safely and financially secure into their new beginnings. So many people think, “Oh, I set my intention because Hansie told me to and I’m just going to leave my job and I’m going to go out and there I’ll be.” No. Spirit is aware of what it costs to live in this world. But when you say to Spirit, “I now set my intention to have the following experience, I now set my intention to be in service. I thank you for the position I have now, because I know it’s part of the transition to my new beginning…”

Then you stop suffering what’s about to come up job-wise or what you already currently have.

ALFRED:
And again, a lot of times it can be confusing. Why is it that Spirit is interrupting my momentum? You don’t know if it’s a door behind a door. You don’t know if They’re going to be using that to leap-frog you. You don’t know what the other side is co-ordinating. Your job is to feel, to say, “Does this really feel good to me?”

HANS:
You know, a lot of times we talk about synchronicity. Spirit will open a door, and you’ll stand there scratching your head. “This is not what I asked for! This is not what I was hoping I was going to get.” What you don’t see, in the beginning, is the last domino follows the first domino. So the last domino couldn’t fall over without the first domino. Nor could the middle, nor could the second, nor could the fifteenth. So they’re all linked together.

ALFRED:
And that’s the way the other side works. They are constantly changing - life is constantly changing. Opportunities are constantly changing. Nothing is ever set in stone. That is why you have the term - go with the flow - because the energy may change. Somebody who was supposed to do something decided not to - your job is to feel the energy of the opportunity to make sure it’s not your mind playing games with you. To make sure your human-ness doesn’t get involved in the decision whether you should be an entrepreneur, stay at your current job, take a job offer that’s given to you. Follow the teachings the we have in the Intuitive Development Class in order to work with your Guidance, to hear them, okay?

HANS:
The key to everything is belief. It is knowing. I talked with a lovely lady today and she wants so much to be in Spirit, but she keeps saying, “I want to, I want to,” instead of saying, “I am, and this is a place on my spiritual journey and it’s perfect in it’s moment and concept.” See what I’m saying, folks? It’s already perfect. Just the way it is, is perfect. And when you begin to operate out of the awareness that everything is perfect - yes, your human-ness is going to get involved - get used to it.

Get used to it, because remember what we always teach - we are just these little angels having a human experience. Therefore, we’re susceptible to human frailties.

I’m not going to sit here today and tell you there aren’t times in my life I wish things might have been different as far as my mind chatter works, but then I’ll tell you almost always, it turns out, “Oh, that is why I didn’t get that! Okay? That is what happened.”

ALFRED:
Someone asked - How do you get guidance from Spirit about what direction you’re supposed to go in?

HANS:
My suggestion is you listen to the Intuitive Development Class wherein we teach you about your biggest nemesis called mind chatter. It’s your mind chatter that’s talking to you. It’s mind chatter that interferes with what we are trying to accomplish. Remember that with Spirit everything simply is. That’s the key. Everything simply is. And when you get that, when you know that, when you hear that, everything comes to that place. Alright?

ALFRED:
So basically your job is to be in the moment, focused on the moment, being as spiritual as you possibly can…

HANS:
… with no expectations.

ALFRED:
With no expectations about what’s going to happen in the future. By being in the moment, it’s one of the practices of letting go of the mind chatter in order to be much more connected. If you start worrying about or thinking about, “What’s going to happen to me? What am I supposed to do?” Then you’re inviting ego, which separates you from that which you’re trying to accomplish. Instead, by simply being spiritual, being peaceful, happy, grateful, in the moment, you’re more able to determine where am I supposed to go, what am I supposed to do, in the moment.

HANS:
Remember always children, the old adage, that expectations are limitations. Everything that you wish to accomplish, if you can feel it in your heart, the Guidance will take you to the possibility for the opportunity. Always.

Okay. That concludes the lessons for today.

Topic: Why Does Life Seem So Difficult
October 10, 2015

HANS:
Hi everyone! The topic for today is “Why Does Life Seem So Difficult?” Even though we’re having fun with you today, for many people life seems very difficult. I don’t know how to say it any clearer than this. It’s how we view what’s going on. There are situations that happen in our life that seem insurmountable. They seem like your life is drowning, like you’re being thrown to the wolves, but our human-ness continues to inform us of what is wrong.

Now sometimes, for instance, a relationship… people have been together for awhile, maybe they’ve produced children, maybe they have really worked hard, and one day out of nowhere it goes - poof! Our immediate human-ness is to respond to that in such a way that we wonder what’s wrong. What happened? What if we found out that what happened was the energy that ran the relationship had run it’s time.

ALFRED:
Disconnect energy. That it was planned. And the other side is working with you to disconnect that which was planned.

HANS:
And you agreed to it because you set it up in the first place!

ALFRED:
It’s part of your life path.

HANS:
So what I’m saying to you is - even in the most difficult of moments, with every kind of scenario you can think, Spirit is there with you. Walking with you. Opening the doors in front of you. No matter how painful, when they close a door they open a window - you’ve heard that your whole life.

ALFRED:
I saw a quote about that today. Tragedies are actually opportunities in disguise. It depends how you look at it.

HANS:
Let’s go back to what we were talking about when we said the relationship went poof! All we can see in front of us is the pain of the moment. We want to run back into the history of the relationship. We want to rekindle it, we want to pull it forward into the new unknown. No, no, no. It’s over. Love each other. Be friends with each other. Let it go into the Light.

It’s very simple for me to sit here and say this to you, but that’s what Spirit expects. By the letting go of what wasn’t working anymore, you freed up your tomorrows, even though in the moment all you can see is blankness. It is blank. By letting go you have created a vacuum, and in the vacuum the new life comes.

ALFRED:
Working wth Spirit to let go of what doesn’t work anymore.

HANS:
Remember that old saying that says: one day at a time? That’s just what Spirit is saying to you. Just ask for the energy, kids, of one day at a time. And when you do that, you’re saying to Spirit, ”I believe, I trust you. I know that for all the pain I’m in at the moment, there is a rainbow at the end of this pain.”

ALFRED:
Then we get on to trust and surrendering. Surrendering that what is actually happening is part of your Dharma, part of your life path… is happening for a reason.

HANS:
You can’t get, if you don’t let go, children. You can’t continue to get and get. You have to let go in order to receive. When we’re in the middle of the pain it feels so real - you know that, Alfred.

ALFRED:
It does.

HANS:
I know that and all of you know. It looks real. It feels real. But it really isn’t. It’s our mind chatter at work.

ALFRED:
Yes, and whenever something feels stressful, painful, realize that is human-ness coming into the picture. Spiritually speaking, when you realize there’s human-ness - what’s your option? Surrender into it! Be peaceful with it. Let it go. Realize there’s a higher purpose. Go with the flow. Let go of the negative energy versus trying to control it. Where is it? I want it back in my life, and the other side is saying - no.

HANS:
There’s no more there. It’s over. There’s no more energy available, and the more you struggled after it, the more you keep trying to resurrect it, the more pain you put yourself in. Then you get mad and yell at God for not being on your side.

ALFRED:
You have two options here. You can focus on what isn’t working and get upset about it, or realize your glass is half full, realize and focus on what is working. If you focus on what isn’t working, you’re putting negative energy when the Universe is trying to help you versus being grateful for where you are, going back to being peaceful and letting this energy dissolve as it’s supposed to dissolve. Don’t put your energy on what isn’t working because if your focus, your attention is on what isn’t working — guess what is going to be attracted into your life? Spiritually speaking, if you put your energy on what isn’t working, that is the energy and the feeling and emotions you’re going to keep with you.

HANS:
They themselves are makers of themselves. We continue to draw to us our own consciousness.

ALFRED:
So when you have something you feel is being removed, taken away from you - spiritually speaking - put your energy, your focus, your attention on being peaceful, on what is working, your spiritual growth, working with your Guides. Go look at a flower. Go for a walk. Whatever it is to reconnect during this type of turmoil to take your energy away from that and your focus is on the positive.

HANS:
Exactly.

ALFRED:
How’s that for a short lesson? And now for our next topic which is - Being in the Void. Something was taken away from you, the Universe is saying, “That’s no longer part of your experience. We need to put you in the void for a little while.” All of a sudden there’s just nothing. Lack of a relationship, lack of a job, lack of money, lack of a car, lack of a partner, lack of friends…. So, lesson number two: when Spirit is removing something for you - your job is to focus on the good aspects of your life and connecting. What do you do when you’re in the void? When there is a lack of a relationship, lack of job, lack of money, and you’re wondering what’s going on here? What is somebody supposed to do during that time Hans?

HANS:
Be peaceful. Now folks, when you find yourself in the void, and you find more things going away from you than coming towards you - what do you do? What are your options? You make the void perfect at the moment. Now that’s really really tough to do. You bring back all the Hansie principles: What if there’s nothing wrong? What if I’m exactly where I need to be? What if my God loves me and sees where I am right now and is taking care of it? The key here, is in the void - do nothing.

I’m serious kids. Do nothing. Simply learn to be in that moment, because what is for you is already known by the Spirit. Stop the infernal praying. They already know. Okay? What is for you is automatically on the way.

So, don’t worry. You’re not going to be alone. Yes, there’s a person for you. I have rarely ever met anyone that did not have a soulmate on this side. There are instances, I had a lady today who said her children don’t speak to her because the father had poisoned their minds, and I pointed out to her - no, the children poisoned their own minds and they’ll get through it and come out the other side.

When children find themselves in divorce, for instance, they immediately need to blame someone. So, in the void, as you watch the things go away, know the children will return, because they will. Know there will be another relationship, because there will. And just have a quiet knowing, that in the void, in that moment - it’s perfect.

ALFRED:
So - two ways to handle the void. The first thing is to look at any aspect of human-ness, blame, understanding, stress, control, these are things to try to not do when you’re in the void. You can’t control, can’t completely understand your Dharma. You’re here on purpose not understanding your Dharma. If you’re trying to understand why things are being taken away from you, why this is not in your life, you’re going to drive yourself crazy. Drive yourself into human-ness and disconnect energy.

The void is all about connecting to the nothingness, connecting to the peacefulness, surrendering to - ready - trusting that the other side has a plan.

HANS:
Because they do. You’re not here by accident.

ALFRED:
Exactly. So what you’re supposed to do in the void is: #1. Trust.

HANS:
There’s a tough one.

ALFRED:
Yes.

HANS:
I was watching this one over here, Mr. Alfred. Lord, didn’t he go through something last week, and I had to remind him that all he was going through was his own mind chatter. We don’t want to hear that. The truth of the matter is whatever lessons are being presented to you are the lessons you chose to learn.

ALFRED:
And the faster that you trust, this is part of your path, and you surrender into it, the more clearly you will see the lesson.

HANS:
That’s the key! When you surrender into it and don’t allow your mind chatter to believe that something’s wrong, suddenly there’s a lightness that comes in your heart and a little light goes on over your head like Felix the Cat in my day, bingo! I’m driving myself crazy. Hello? Nothing’s wrong.

ALFRED:
That’s a good short lesson.

HANS:
I like that. This is one of the top five hardest lessons to learn - to believe and let go. That’s just really really tough.

And that will conclude our lesson for today.

Topic: Let Go and Let God
September 5, 2015

HANS:
Hello everyone and welcome to our Show. Today we're going to be talking about “Let Go and Let God.” What does “Let Go and Let God” mean? Let Go and Let God means that probably the way you're handling a situation doesn't work. You're not getting to where you need to be, things are not going the way you would like them to go.

And there's and old saying that says: If it ain't broke don't fix it. But you don't know that it's broken. That's the problem. You just keep trying to fix it. Over and over and over again, you keep trying to fix it. But it doesn't work. It's like fishing for a particular kind of fish in a certain stream where the fish doesn't live.

You're determined to make certain you can catch that fish in that stream. So when we say let go, how do we mean that? What is that when we say let go? Let go means no longer trying to force something to work the way you want it to work. But instead turn to God and say: I've done all I can do with this issue. I really can't do anymore. I'm going to let go and trust that you will take this issue for me and do that which is best for me, to my highest good.

This lesson has been very difficult in the 50 years that I've been teaching to get people to understand that they have a resource in God. They have a resource in Spirit. And they too can open that door. Let go and watch the miracles that happen when you Let go. My young Padawan is with me today and I'm going to call on him throughout the Shows to bring his perspective, his point of view across. Alfred, how have you done with letting go and letting God?

ALFRED:
It was an incredibly difficult lesson. Because we're taught that if you want to succeed, if you want to get ahead, you have to control the outcome. You need to get the outcome the way that you want. There's an advertisement that says - You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate. So much of Western Culture tells you you need to be in control.

And one of the basic teachings that I've learned from Hans is that by being in control, yeah sure, you'll get what you understand... you'll get what your humanness, by yourself, understands. And what I've learned from Hans is by letting go of control of the outcome, by letting go of the way it needs to look, then you open yourself up to possibilities that your humanness, your poor little brain, could never understand. You open yourself up to the possibilities of the Universe.

HANS:
And remember that we are Angels in human form. We are not a human form with an Angel attachment. We are actually Spirit in human form. But because we are in human form we are susceptible to human frailties. We all know what that looks like. I knew what that looked like yesterday morning, for instance.

So we all have to, I like to say, laugh at our mind chatter. Have you ever noticed, Alfred, that mind chatter never really tells you anything good about yourself? It always reminds you of what you're not, what you can't do, you're not good enough, you're not pretty enough, you're not thin enough? But it rarely ever says: You know, you're just wonderful the way you are and I love you.

ALFRED:
And that's the easiest way to understand if what is coming to you, what you're hearing is coming from your mind, your limited humanness or if it's coming from the Universe. If it's nagging you telling you what's wrong, what could be better, what you need to have, it's pretty much coming from your brain. If it is coming at you by saying: Everything's okay, we have you, trust us, there's nothing you need, just be peaceful... that's the Universe talking to you.

HANS:
Right. And remember the mind chatter is a product of your history. It really isn't telling you anything true. It's very concerned about what “might” happen. Not what actually “is” happening. But its perception is if it doesn't know it, it's out of control. And if it's out of control, something could happen.

So when you are trying to develop your spirituality and find your oneness with God and bring your Angels and Guides to work with you and to open your life to “all” that you can be, this becomes a direct threat to the mind. Because the mind feels it's out of control.

So you have the head-mind and the heart-mind. And the heart-mind will always tell you everything will be alright. The heart will tell you: Don't worry, we'll get through this. But the mind will turn and say: But how? How are we going to get through this? The rent is due, the car payment is due, you may lose your job or you've lost your job and you may never get another one. That's old mind chatter.

ALFRED:
Oh, I've got a good one. Relationships.

HANS:
We're going to be doing a lot about Relationships in these shows.

ALFRED:
That is absolutely one of our most asked about topics and probably one of the most relevant topics in terms of Let Go and Let God. And it probably is one of the most personal topics. There's so many people that are close to us that have a choice in their relationships... to get a relationship... to determine if they should stay in the relationship... is to Let Go and Let God. And that's really what you're talking about. You can drive yourself absolutely crazy trying to figure it out on your own.

HANS:
I think we try to take individuals and make them into what we'd like them to be. Rather than say just who they are in their uniqueness and their individuality is perfect for me.

ALFRED:
How about this one? Say you want a relationship. Let's take that one for an example. That one's going to hit close to home here. Huh,  Hans?

HANS:
Oh, yes.

ALFRED:
And let's say you'd like a relationship. You've got two ways to go about it. And that's what we're trying to talk about right here. You have the choice of doing things the way that you understand them which is: Okay, let me go through my list... and let me try to figure it out... and I'm in control... and it's up to me to find somebody... “or” you can work with the Universe to find you a Soul Mate.

HANS:
Yes.

ALFRED:
And surrender control, surrender the outcome. How does that sit with you Hans?

HANS:
Well, it sits very well because when we try to control how a relationship will enter our life we normally fail. Because the greatest relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. You cannot be in an all trusting, all loving relationship, unless you love yourself. Because you have no one to give if you don't know who you are.

We try to hold on to relationships, for instance, that don't work anymore. And most people don't realize that there's something called Soul Crossing. And in Soul Crossing we come across someone who we have agreed to come across in this lifetime by our dharma, our karma, if you will, to work through some issues... to be mirrors, growth partners for each other. But we're actually headed in a different direction.

And so these relationships come into our lives and we think: Oh, this is it, I've got it. And they fall apart. So when you let go of your “need” to have a relationship, you're saying to God: I am available for that certain someone who can see me as I see me... and I have no judgments of me... and I love me.

Then The Spirit... The Great Spirit begins to unlock the doors that bring that someone to you. But sometimes those someones come in for 1 day, 10 years, or 50 years. It depends on what the dharma is. But if you live each day and surrender to letting go and letting God, the relationship will go exactly where it's supposed to be.

But your mind chatter tells you: In order to be whole, in order to be someone, you need a relationship. And nothing can be further from the truth. And people, no matter how pretty it sounds - You complete me - nothing could be further from the truth. You are not made half whole. God did not send half-baked cookies to this planet. You were whole and complete when you arrived. You were perfect... absolutely perfect.

You had a dharma, which is a map of what you chose to work through. Some lessons you wanted to learn. Certain people on The Other Side came with you to help you to learn those. Those are our Spirit Families, our Light Groups. And many of you have worked with the same people for many, many centuries in different forms one way or the other.

But letting go and letting God means that you no longer place a value in what other people look like... what other people think... what other people tell you you are. We have a saying that says: Not my problem. Why don't you explain that teaching that we give?

ALFRED:
The way I like to talk about it is how much do you understand about why you're here? Your own individual life path? Your own individual karma? But, you're by yourself every single day... you're with yourself every single day.

If you yourself do not completely understand your individual life path, your purpose in life, what lessons you have to work through... how can anybody else judge you? How can anybody else have an opinion of you? Which means how can you possibly care about what someone else says about you?

HANS:
One of the things that I taught Alfred was a wonderful saying from Dr. Terry Cole-Whittaker in which she said: What someone thinks of you is really none of your business. But what you think of what they think of you should be very much your concern. And he puzzled and pondered that. But I think you get that now don't you Alfred?

ALFRED:
Yes. But say you want a good relationship. You basically have two options. One, with your limited brain, try to figure it out yourself or to let go of the outcome. Let go of what other people think. Let go of what you think. And let the Universe provide you with the outcome.

HANS:
We're going to, throughout our many Shows to come, be discussing different forms of relationships, different forms of spiritual principles and teachings. So you will not all get it this evening, all the new people. But as we go along, you'll begin to see the pattern that frees you from the sense of being in what I refer to as "The Void."

And for many of you who don't know what The Void is, and I know all our Members do know because they've been with us for awhile, but The Void is a time in life where you may have a sense that there's more going from you or leaving you than coming towards you. You have a sense of uneasiness... a sense of not belonging. It is a time between two cycles of energy.

And it is a time when Spirit does remove from us things that don't offer us growth anymore. It can be a very off-putting time, as my English friends would say. In that, if you don't know it, it appears as fearful. You just see things leaving and nothing's filling them. And that's why I nicknamed it The Void. What I love about The Void is that it is a harbinger or the announcer of a new beginning.

Let's try it another way. When you were all in school your teacher, he or she, always had a big chalkboard behind them and they wrote the lesson and taught the lesson on the board. But at a certain point all the lesson had been written all over the board, even in the margins, and there was no place left to start the new lesson. And the teacher would then begin to erase the chalkboard, or one of the students did.

I was one of the students who got to erase the chalkboard. And you could hear people saying: No, no I'm not finished... I still haven't written this! And the teacher or the student erased the chalkboard anyway. And it was empty. Well, what do you do then?

Then the Spirit hands you new chalks to begin the new journey. And on the blank board you can write anything you want. On the blank board is all the possibilities of tomorrow. Not on the board that's been written on. That's done. It's the new board, the clean board, the board with nothing on it.

That's exactly the same principle that Spirit uses when we let go and we let God. They “know” when our chalkboard is full. And They know when it's time to let go. And you're encouraged to let go. But we hang on. We hang on to things over and over again... pretending that we're going to make them work when they won't. Okay?

By having faith that Spirit has heard you, and heard your request, is the key to letting go. Believe. Let Go and Let God. They know exactly what's supposed to be on your chalkboard. Know and believe that an outcome is already on the way... even though, my friends, you can't see it, you can't hear it... “know” it. Try to always have no judgment or opinion of when a solution is presented. Because that's your interference - the mind chatter.

The mind chatter desperately wants to know when and how and where and why. These are irrelevant questions. They have no bearing in spirituality. They have no bearing in the Godforce. That is human need. Nothing more, nothing less. Keep the mind chatter at bay and watch the miracles arrive. Alfred, how did you find the courage to have faith... to let go? Where did it come from?

ALFRED:
One of the most interesting things that you told me a long time ago and I think this is probably a good introduction to a lot of our people who are listening for the first time is “just try this.” Just try it. These things that we're teaching. Just try to incorporate them into your life and see how it goes. Because the absolute worse thing that's going to happen to you is you can go back to doing the thing that you know how to do.

HANS:
Right.

ALFRED:
You can be in control. You can do what you know. And when Hans first introduced me to these spiritual topics he said: Well, you can continue to argue and you can continue to tell me why they're not going to work “or” you can just try it.

Try it for a month, try it for 2 months, but try it. And if for some reason you don't like it, you can go back to the way that you were because apparently you seem to understand the way that that works very well... regardless of whether it works well or not. But you understand how that works.

HANS:
Well, it's yours.

ALFRED:
Yes, it's yours. You understand it and you're in control.

HANS:
There you go.

ALFRED:
So when Hans first told me about these teachings of course I had some choice words for him about...

HANS:
And folks you should've heard the words.

ALFRED:
And he said: Fine, just try it. And that was the first introduction to all of this. I didn't have much faith. I said: Fine, I'm just gonna try it. But after a little while I said: Hhhmmm... this stuff seems to work. And after you see it work over and over and over again, you just try a little thing here, a little thing there.

Like the lessons that Hans is trying to go over: How to Let Go - How to Let God. Then all of a sudden you start having faith and trust in the Universe that Spirit actually does have your back if you let go of the control.

HANS:
And the miracles show up don't they?

ALFRED:
Yes, and the miracles show up. And that's how I started having faith, is by actually working the lessons that Hans is teaching and saying: Wow, that actually happened.

HANS:
He was right.

ALFRED:
He was right. Unfortunately 99.9% of the time Hans is right.

HANS:
Well the Guidance is right.

ALFRED:
Guidance is right.

HANS:
I'm just the mouthpiece.

ALFRED:
We'll go into Hans being a Medium later. But that's how I got faith was seeing the results time and time again and saying: Wow, if I just let go, I could actually have faith that what's going to show up is for my highest good.

HANS:
And that's the key folks... is when you understand that God does not love anyone more in the world than you. Hear that again, children: God does not love anyone more in the world than you. Once you understand that concept, that the Godforce flows through you every day, your Angels, your Guides, your Helpers, your Friends, stand at the ready to help you.

And that you can learn how to bring that love, that light, and that power into your life. Once you get it, it never leaves you. That's when your life begins to change. This is the primary reason that we do this Show. I've been working for over 56 years and helping individuals to understand how wonderful they are to God. That their God has no judgment of them and they can partner with the Force.

One thing we bring into our Show, we attempt to bring in, we're a little serious today, but we love humor. Learning to laugh at yourself and learning to love yourself as God does. Because you know when The Spirit and when The Great Spirit looks at us, all they see is the baby Angels we are. They don't see our age, or our color, or what we're wearing, they just see the Angel that we actually all are.

All the rest of that "stuff" is "human stuff." Alfred arrived for his teachings with so much human stuff it was mind boggling. Alfred was an International Banker. And when I told him, many years ago, that someday he'd be doing this work, writing books and teaching classes, he just looked at me and he said: I'd like to have some of whatever you're smoking.

ALFRED:
Yes. That was the beginning of the choice words I had for Hans.

[Hans laughing in the background]

HANS:
And folks, it was not the easiest of things. I probably aged a lot during the first 5 years... but it's all worked out and I'm grateful.

ALFRED:
So if you want to know about a control freak, just ask. So for those of you who are control freaks...

HANS:
And you know who you are.

ALFRED:
Yes. I understand. This is another option. To say: Okay, if being a control freak is stressing you out and you're miserable, try this.

HANS:
And that's the key everybody. Is find the humor in your control issues. Watch yourself. Try to remove yourself slightly. And watch how your mind reacts to certain key words... or certain key people. And you'll find out what Spirit sees in you every day. Oh, my goodness there she goes again. Turn on Channel 13 she's on.

Listen to this mind chatter. Do you ever really sit back and listen to your crazies? And they run, and they run, and they wake you up at night. None of it is true. Not a thing of it is true. We have a perception that we have allowed ourselves to build and when things don't fit that perception we think something's wrong.

Years ago I was blessed... I was in Thailand and I was up north at a very spiritual old capital called a Utica. And I met this Monk... this Buddhist Monk. And we were talking about things and he said to me: What makes you think anything is wrong? And I had a litany of things to prove my point of view. And he said: No, that's your mind chatter. I said: But, are you saying that there's absolutely nothing wrong?

And he said: No, it's how you view it. It is your perception... and perception governs you in the Western World. For you, it's always more, or it's not enough, or it can't work, or it doesn't work. But there's no such statement as “enough”.

And for each and every one of you, remember that who you are in this moment, no matter whether you're driving your car tonight or today I guess it is... no matter what you're doing at this moment, you are enough for God.

Alrighty my friends, so the lesson today has been about "Let Go and Let God." For many of you this will be an old concept that you understand. But for a whole bunch of new people that are joining us today, this will be a new concept. And yes you have the power to change your life. Nobody has control over you.

And in Dr. James Allen's wonderful book "As a Man Thinketh" he said: It is important to remember that they themselves are makers of themselves. And we'll be reviewing these things and the lessons will be different each week.

I think that will conclude the lesson for today.
