HANS:
Hi, everyone. When we come onto this plane, we’re given a clean vessel. We’re given a bag of goodies to play with. Those are all of our dharmic lessons and karmic lessons and all the things we wanted to go through, so we’re born with a clean slate.

Now, in one of the bags there’s a little bag that says ‘leftover business,' and in that bag that says ‘leftover business’ are things we didn’t quite get to last time, or we weren’t happy with the results we got from trying to learn that lesson. So that’s thrown into the mix, but it’s never the largest bag. The largest bag is the empty vessel. And as we start to go through life we start adding more and more and more and more to the vessel. And eventually, if we’re not careful, we get to the top where we can’t put another thing into the vessel.

What do we do? What happens? How do you let go of stuff you think is so important to you? I want everyone, tonight, tomorrow, to sit down quietly and make a list of all the things you thought you were going to do at this time last year. What was going to be your New Year’s resolution for January? Did you make a list? Have you checked them out?

What we tend to do, is we make our list of New Year’s resolutions in our consciousness or on a piece of paper, but we never finish them. And so each year as we go along that list gets bigger and bigger and these down here become, "Gee, I wish I could have. Gee, I wish I had done that."

This time we’re going to ask you to begin to clear the slate. How do you let go of something that you think is very important to you? Is it important to you or are you just holding it in memory? Are you holding on to an old relationship that didn’t work? Because it could have worked? Or maybe you should have done something better?

Are you holding onto regret? Are holding on to, Gee I wish I had not said that. Are you holding onto to anything that isn’t a positive—that’s the key—a positive in your life. Have you set your intentions now to look at all the stuff you're dragging along like this old Santa Claus?

When I first met Alfred he had a bag of Santa Claus things, that was huge. Remember that?

ALFRED:
Well, that’s what we’re taught. We’re taught you're responsible for creating your life, it’s up to you. You don’t get what you deserve; you get what you negotiate. So we’re taught this is the thing that has to create your long term goals you have to go after them, how am I doing compared to my goals? Well, that’s all separation. That’s called you by yourself trying to figure out your life. We say, there’s a different option.

The other option is there’s an army of supporters who are there waiting to help you as long as you stop disconnecting from those people, by thinking, by trying to control the outcome, by this old bag of stuff, you are separating yourself from that which you asked for.

HANS:
Very important what you just said—that you asked for. Most people I find become a victim not knowing they actually asked for the experience. I asked for my family.

ALFRED:
Yes. You asked for your family. Believe it or not.

HANS:
That’s a hard one.

ALFRED:
What we’re trying to say is, what to look to let go of. So the things you want to let go of are creating the opportunities for a blank space to allow things to come into your life. Step one is about surrendering. Surrendering how you think it has to be, surrendering what you thought had to happen, surrendering going back after goals, surrendering going back after your New Year’s resolution, right Hans?

HANS:
Exactly. So this is the time to make it okay. What I want you to hear today folks is—it’s okay. We’re not perfect. If we were perfect, we wouldn’t be here. I’m so far from perfect, I’m pleased. It’s okay. It’s okay to say, well I’ve held onto this too long without being guilty of hanging onto it.

I have clients and friends today who are holding onto relationships that they had thirty years ago and still bemoaning them. What if I’d said this? What if I’d got done that? This is the time that you’re going to make that list of all the things that are not working for you because we have to clear the vessel. We have a saying in my profession—no two things can be in the same place at the same time. You’ve heard me say this for years, but do you actually hear that? For all that you wanted, all that you’re going to try to pull in your life, where are you going to put it if there’s no place?

ALFRED:
The first step is to start creating the list.

HANS:
Yes, that’s the key.

ALFRED:
The list of all the things you want to let go of.

HANS:
And Alfred, that’s not easy to do.

ALFRED:
No. No, it’s not easy to do but basically what makes you unhappy, what makes you upset, what makes you stressed, where do you see you’re trying to control your life?

HANS:
Yes, and where are you putting all your energy that isn’t working?

ALFRED:
So the first step is to create that list. To be aware, to be conscious, to set your intention to say you know this is stuff I’m going to let go of.

HANS:
And again folks, just to hear Alfred and I talk about it sounds easy. No, it’s not. Alfred, you’re still working on some stuff. I’m still working on stuff.

ALFRED:
So lesson two is, how when you have your list of things to let go of, how do you let go of things you’ve been holding onto for awhile?

HANS:
By refusing to fund energy to them anymore. Now have we come full circle here? Once again, what does it come back to? The mind chatter. Because as you start to let go, as you make your list the next couple of days folks, watch the mind chatter sneak in. Watch the mind chatter try to sabotage the intention.

ALFRED:
So what we’re trying to do is severe your energetic connection between you and that person, between you and that thing, between you and that thought. There is an energetic connection between people, between thoughts, between intentions. What we’re trying to say is, number one: stop giving energy to it, and number two: come up with some implement—a large pair of scissors, a saw, whatever it is, you can picture severing the energetic connection from yourself to that thing.

HANS:
So, our mind chatter tells us what it thinks is important. Our heart tells us what we know is important. Love is important, the love of self is important. Unencumbering yourself from old fears, old doubts, is important. Learning to love the self is important. And we have folks, tons of free products online, recordings, to help you to work on this issue.

ALFRED:
So what we’re trying to say here is, it’s necessary to let go of your attachment to something so that you can create space.

HANS:
And that will conclude today’s lesson.

Topic: Holding Spiritual Energy for New Beginnings
November 14, 2015

HANS:
Hi everybody. Welcome. Today’s topic is “Holding Spiritual Energy for New Beginnings.” Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been talking about how to navigate out of your old life. How to understand what you don’t want anymore. We had you make a list of what you don’t want, and we asked you to let it go. We talked about how you do that. How do you let go of our trauma and our drama and the appearance of our life? Remember, we talked about how no two things can be in the same place at the same time, so you have to let go in order to receive. We had some really positive emails, and I thank you very much.

Now, last week we talked about putting your stuff that’s the new life you want into that space. Here’s the difficult part about that—it’s called holding the intention. Got that? Holding the intention. In the moment, so many people say, “I’ve got it! I’m going to be changing and I’m clearing my space, and here’s the new things I want to feel the energy of in my new life.” And then they set off on their journey and the phone rings. There’s a phone call from a parent or a friend. The mind starts to get engaged with the old drama, with the old problems. This is really devastating, if you allow it, because the mind is actually trying to take you back to where it was comfortable. Not to the unknown that it’s not certain of and it may not have control over. It wants to return you again to the old life which it knew well. But remember, it was that mind chatter that caused all the pain and suffering in your life. So, this is a time to say, “You know what? My resolve is so strong that I have no intentions of going backwards in order to go forwards.”

So, today is about learning how to hold your intentions. Alfred, you have some mediation exercises about holding your intention, don’t you?

ALFRED:
Many. But let’s talk on a theoretical basis and let you know what happens. When you finally set your intention to move forward, what is left of your ego is going to fight harder for survival. It will start harassing you more. It will speak louder and you will tell us, “I’m doing this right. Why is my mind chatter getting stronger?”

HANS:
And the fear will grow stronger.

ALFRED:
The fear will grow stronger. Your mind chatter will start screaming at you. This is normal.

HANS:
Absolutely normal. Maybe bring a little humor to it.

ALFRED:
Bring a little humor to it. Say, treat it as a spoiled child.

HANS:
There it goes again.

ALFRED:
What happens when you try and take a toy away from a spoiled child? It’s going to scream at you, but you have to be the parent: this is who’s in charge, this is the spoiled child, and be consistent. Eventually, the spoiled child stops kicking and screaming. The worst thing you can do is let it have it’s own way and realize if it kicks and screams, “Oh, that’s how I can get my way.” You have to be consistent.

HANS:
Boy, is that ever the truth! You must be consistent in your intention to change your behavioral patterns. You have to understand, it’s the job of the mind to try to return you to the old way of being. You come in and you talk to your heart and you say, “We must reinforce our resolve. Reinforce our resolve into the new beginning.” The mind is going to pull at you. We like to say about two weeks, if you work on it diligently, then it begins to calm down. But any change to the mind is a threat. So when your heart-mind sets out for a new beginning, you’re really notifying the fear and the mind chatter that it’s no longer necessary. That’s when it goes to war and that’s when it starts throwing its temper tantrums. But remember, just as the parent has control over the child, you have control over the temper tantrum your mind is bringing up. It will flood you with stuff that could happen—you’re going to lose your job, you’re going to get cancer, you’re going to get pneumonia, a car crash. It just throws everything it can at you, and if you just say, “I give you no more space here. I’m in a new resolve for  a peaceful approach to my new life.” You reinforce that every day. “I’m in a peaceful place in my new approach to my new life.” And you just keep reinforcing it and reinforcing it. Then, after a bit, it becomes automatic.

ALFRED:
So in summary, the first topic we’re talking about is being consistent in your resolve. Being consistent in your determination. Being consistent in your intention to go to that place that you don’t know. To go to that place that you don’t understand.

HANS:
You know, Alfred, how many times we say, “My intention is to do this.” And before we know it, without even seeing it, the mind has literally pulled us back into the old behavior. We don’t even see it coming, but it’s sneaky and it’s crafty.

ALFRED:
That’s a good one. So off to our second topic for today: how to help yourself with your resolve. Your mind will come up with various things it’s going to be saying, and there’s a lot of things you can say back to your mind. We call this reprogramming. Giving your mind chatter new things to think about. You need to tell it who’s in charge and what’s really important to you. So when your mind chatter comes and starts telling you, “No, we need to back to the old way,” there’s a lot of things that can help you talk to your mind chatter to let it know who’s in charge.

HANS:
That’s the whole thing. Letting the mind know that you and your heart and your intentions are in charge. It will argue with you. Oftentimes you’ve heard me say it’s like going to war against your own mind, but it really is. Your mind believes it’s defending you from the unknown, but if you soothe the little child inside you—we’ve often talked about getting a picture of yourself as a child and holding that picture to your chest and talking to your inner child, which is terrified of change. Terrified of making a mistake.

Folks, the only mistake you can ever make is not making a choice. One way or the other, neither one of them is a mistake. We deal with what we choose at the moment and we have the consequences in front of us. If we choose wisely the consequences are good. If we don’t choose wisely, all that happens is we go back to the old way we were being and we survive through that—and you will survive through it again. But why go there? So being involved in holding the essence of your truth is key right now. For the lady who sent me the email, “Oh, I’m so afraid of change,” the only thing to be afraid of is not changing. Change is good! Nothing remains the same, folks. Nothing.

ALFRED:
How about the mirror exercise?

HANS:
The mirror exercise is very good. This is a toughie for a lot of you, but it simply goes something like this: When you get out of your shower or bath in the morning, dry off, go up to the mirror, and drop the towel. Oh, that will give you a good shock. Look right into your eyes and say, “I don’t know who you are, but I promise you I’m going to find out. And when I do, I’m going to take very very good care of you. I promise you I’m never going to let anyone hurt you again. You are my best friend and I love you very much.”

That, Alfred, is a toughie.

ALFRED:
It is. Your heart is going to take care of you. Your mind will say we have to control the outcome, but the heart has to say the path going forward is about surrendering, about letting go, going with the flow. You’re going to be talking from your heart to your mind, whatever your human-ness is, you’re coming from who you are, the part of you that is eternal and that will continue after the body dissolves away.

HANS:
We’re all headed in the same direction, folks, toward enlightenment, but we’re all in different cars. Just know that Spirit is holding your intention with you. Always remember that. When it’s bleak and it’s scary and it’s dark, remember, Spirit has you. They’re holding you in your intention. You do the same. Can you imagine the power you can create in your life when you learn to partner with Spirit on your behalf? Endless possibilities.

And that will conclude the lesson for today!

Topic: Soul Mate Relationships: Preparing Yourself
August 1, 2015

HANS:
The topic for today is "Soul Mate Relationships.” We actually have contracts with individuals that we have been with before in previous lifetimes. Then we agreed to do certain things... their Guides, your Guides, everybody got together before we came in here... had a little tea-party. And they all decided what was best in this lifetime for you.

And certain people said: Well let me help you with that because you helped me with the other before. So what happens is you come here and gradually the people that you are supposed to meet, you are drawn to. And a lot of times I have clients that will say: Are you sure I chose that person I'm living with? And I'll say: Yes, you did.

But Soul Mates... In order to get to where you start to deal with your Soul Mates that come through your life, you first have to find a clear spot within yourself. Now this sounds very simple, but it is not. If you picture a square and you cut the square into 4's and you put little titles on it: My Capability To Love, The Attraction Aspect, My Availability Aspect... And then you come over to this little one on the right-hand side and it says: Trust. And that one, for many, many, many thousands of people is the one they have the hardest time with.

So if they have been out of a relationship for awhile, the trust factor begins to listen to the mind chatter. And as it listens to the mind chatter, what it's doing is very slowly disconnecting us from the possibilities. Because it sends false signals to the trust department and saying: Well, you know what, if you venture out to that you could get hurt. What happened last time could happen again.

And pretty soon it talks us out of it. So the other 3 are saying: Yes, I'm available. You're verbalizing: Yes, I'm available. But actually there's no room in the heart for the trust factor.

ALFRED:
And that has to do a lot with letting go of previous traumas, previous issues, previous experiences, that caused you not to trust. Now, of course, using all of Hans King's wisdom and guidance, you'll be learning about how to let go of the past so that you can allow yourself to trust once again. But the most important thing is, when building trust, is not to bring previous relationships into your current relationship.

HANS:
That's the key.

ALFRED:
And if you are not trusting, that's because of something that's happened in a previous relationship. And what we're talking about is making space for a new relationship. If your old relationship is still with you, still in your heart-space, as Hans says: You have a padlock.

HANS:
Yes. For many of you, you've not only locked the door, but you've actually had a padlock installed. And sometimes the Spirit will say to you: Please, if you can't open the door, will you just unlock it for a moment to allow us to work with you?

I actually have clients that will say to me: I'm not going to make myself available for another relationship until my perfect lover shows up. Well folks, you can't do that. Because life with Spirit is about trust. But each of you, go into your heart, and ask yourself have you cleared up that space? Okay?

Another thing that the mind chatter tells you is that you may not be good enough for a relationship... you may not be pretty enough... you may not be handsome enough... there may be something wrong with you physically you think. And so you start to talk yourself out of the possibility.

But I'll tell you this: Everyone has someone. Everyone. You are never destined to be alone unless your entire life's lesson is about "The Power of The One." And most of you haven't come to that place quite yet in your life.

If you feel, in your heart, and I know Peter, we've been dealing with this with you in New York. And what I'm saying to you is: It's never of matter of "when," my friend, it's a matter of "believing that it is already happening." That's the key. Know in your heart it's already. Don't wonder it, don't doubt it, don't run your safety mechanisms by it,  and don't run your trust mechanisms by it - "know" it.

And every time that mind chatter comes up and tries to engage you and say: You know what, you can't put yourself out there, you can't trust this issue. You need to turn to that and say: No, that's not true.

Another aspect to consider, when looking for a Soul Mate Relationships is: Do I love myself enough to allow myself to be happy? That's a tough one folks. We've been told, since the day we're born, if not by parents... perhaps you have totally supportive parents... but somewhere along the way - in schools, somewhere watching television, advertising, you will be informed that you are not good enough “yet.” And if you buy this product, if you take this course, if you do this thing, then you could begin to get good enough.

Implementing a state of trust into your life is key to you finding the relationship with yourself that supports and allows for a relationship with someone else. Alfred?

ALFRED:
The topic that we're trying to get to right now is making sure that you are ready, that you are available for a Soul Mate Relationship. It is not about a Soul Mate coming in and fixing you. It is about you being available, being ready. Okay? Being who you are. A perfect soul with perfect confidence - that you are who you are. And then attracting a Soul Mate with that vibration.

HANS:
And trusting.

ALFRED:
And trusting. So if you happen to have the vibration of: I'm not good enough, I'm not deserving, what do you think is going to be attracted to you?

HANS:
Yes.

ALFRED:
People who are going to tell you you're not good enough, you're not deserving.  You're not going to get your proper Soul Mate. Instead you're going to get people attracted to you with a similar vibration. Okay? So what we're trying to tell you is "before" you start looking for your Soul Mate, make sure you've done your inner work. As we've talked about previously, make sure you've opened the trust factor.

And in this topic, what we're making sure that you look at is: Are you "deserving" of that Soul Mate Relationship? And that is the vibration that you put out - that you are deserving of love, you are deserving of kindness, you are deserving of joy, and those are the things that you want and will have in your life.

HANS:
And you will. Now folks, sometimes people will say to me: Well Hansie, I'm 52 years old. I mean, I'm getting a little long in the tooth. And when is this going to happen? I said: When you learn to love yourself enough to give yourself someone new. So many people are still waiting. You've heard me hound you about this through the years. So many people are waiting for someone to show up to tell them they're okay. You need to tell yourself you're already okay.

All the people that we see on the television, in the movies, people who have become very big in whatever endeavor, whatever field they're in... very respected... never said: I'm hoping somebody will tell me I'm okay to do this... I'm hoping somebody will come and validate my existence. They already knew it.

I just was reading a story today about the richest woman in China. Her first name is Zhou. She starting working in a factory, as a teenager... a factory. She got $1.00 a day. And they showed her little security card she had used to get into the factory. Today she is the wealthiest woman in China. Her company makes all the glass on iPhones, iPads. Her company makes half of all the glass on half of all the computers in the world.

She had to drop out of High School because she couldn't afford to go. Do you think ever, in that woman's life, she ever told herself she wasn't good enough... that she couldn't make it? In reading her story today, she said somewhere in her she always knew. She believed that there was something greater for her than what her circumstances ever dictated to.

Relationships. When you build the relationship with yourself there are tons of possibilities that can occur.

And that concludes the lesson for today.

Topic: Being In Spiritual Truth
May 17, 2015

HANS:
Hello everybody and welcome. Today we are going to be talking about Spiritual Truth. What is Spiritual Truth? What does "Being In Spiritual Truth" mean? For so many of my clients through the many years I've been in service, I will get an email or a letter saying: Oh, my gosh, what a difference! Oh, this is working for me! And what happens oftentimes is that people read a book or they go to take a class or they have a reading, for instance, and they'll say: Oh, I got it. When really what has happened is that the mind has captured the conversation. The mind has captured what is trying to be said. And the mind captures what is being said.

But unfortunately, the mind does not send it to the peaceful place in the heart. It holds the information in the head. That, children, is not spiritual wisdom or spiritual truth. That's trying to control how Spiritual Truth looks. Allowing the mind to send a clean and clear picture to the heart, of trust and faith and belief, learning to wake up every day knowing and hearing that you are perfect for God today... This is a whole new concept.... it's a whole new understanding... a whole new awareness. Because your mind chatter, for all the many years that you've been alive, short or long... all those years, the mind has tried to keep you safe. And unfortunately, it has really kept you unsafe.

So Spiritual Truth means "trusting"... not just "knowing" it... not just "learning" it, not just “hearing” it... by putting it into practice every single day. And when you do that, when you wake up in the morning and you say: My goodness, I don't have to struggle today because I'm enough for God... Oh, my goodness I'm okay, God hears me. Oh, I'm not alone... I have Angels and I have Guides. My whole life has changed because "I believe." And Spiritual Truth is about "believing."

Knowing, in your heart, that beyond any reasonable doubt that there's no judgment of you from anyone on the Other Side. Not God, not Spirit, not your Helpers and Friends... no one. There's no judgment of you. All that judgment that's been going on all these years came out of the mind chatter. So when you truly "believe," when you truly get it, you begin to set the mind chatter "off." You begin to let it go. It no longer plays a role in your life. Yes, it's there to open the car door, to put the dishes in the dishwasher. Of course... all maintenance stuff. But it has no control any longer who "you" are and what is best for “you.” Because your heart chakra will always show you what is best for you.

So Spiritual Truth is literally about "belief." But you will find, so often kids, that when you're in the mind chatter learning about these things and thinking that you've got them, your mind is still running its crazies. You can see it in the questions that come in. We're all family here, so hear me through. Very enlightened people on this Show still send in worrisome questions. That means you're still working on your belief. Nothing wrong with that, kids... nothing wrong with that at all.

However, the truth of the matter is that as long as you continue to do that, the longer it will take you to come into a place that says: "I am. It is sufficient unto this day and always for me." "I already am enough." When you can say that, you will find the mind chatter still trying to instigate trouble, still trying to cause up a fear: What if I lose my job, what if I get a divorce, what if I never find a partner... All of that nonsense that it plays up and plays out will not be of any value to you any longer and you will refuse to listen to it.

We get a lot of people who say: No, but I do believe BUT... A lot of BUT's, guys. Well I believe perfectly Hans, BUT this situation has continued to come up in my life... I believe absolutely Hans that God loves me BUT... I'm not certain that I'll ever find a partner... I'm not certain I'm on the right track. So basically what happens is, not to put too fine a point on it, your mind chatter gives lip-service to "belief"... does not give heart to belief. It gives lip-service. And when you finally understand what the mind is up to, then you really can begin to motivate yourself back into the heart chakra and say: Wait a minute, I don't want to be in that mind chatter. I don't want that in my life. I want this. I want peace.

I talked to a client the other day folks that most of you know from the Radio Show. And what it was about was that they had gotten to a certain place in their intuitive development but their mind chatter just literally refused to turn loose of a certain fear on a certain subject. And what I explained to the individual was: Well that's not exactly true. The mind chatter created it, yes. But you have the control over it. Nothing you're doing in your life is greater than who you are. No action the mind chatter takes can ever stop you from eliminating the mind chatter. You have the power.

Alfred, do you have something on this for us today?

ALFRED:
From all the time that I've been with Hans and following his teachings, the greatest gift that I think I've come across that I want to share with you is the difference between "learning" spirituality and "being" spiritual. One is the traditional way of going about something which is: I'm going to learn it. Unfortunately that invites the mind chatter. That tells the mind chatter: Oh, we can learn this. I, the mind, the human aspect of you, can participate in this spirituality. And what we're trying to tell you is you're still in limitation if you're giving the mind chatter permission to participate by thinking you can "learn" spirituality, then you're running into limitation.

Well, what's the difference? "Being"... Are you “being” the principles? Are you “being” peaceful? Are you “being” loving? Are you “being” caring? Are you “being” trusting? Do you have faith? Are the spiritual principles dictating how you behave? Your behaviors... How you behave is how you are. I am. I am peaceful. I am loving. Or is your behavior that I'm in fear, I'm scared, I am worried... which is your behavior.

So in order so that you can incorporate spiritual principles into your life, the difference between "learning" and "being" is learning stops with your mind thinking you can learn it. It doesn't change your behavior. And what we're saying is there is nothing to learn. All you need to do is say: Am I in trust? Do I have faith? Am I peaceful? Is my behavior according to spiritual principles?

How's that, Hans?

HANS:
Well, absolutely, Alfred. And that's exactly what we're trying to work on today. Thank you. And I remember back in the day when Alfred was first coming on-board he really didn't struggle with thinking that the heart could operate his life as well as his mind. And for all of you, I'm not trying to disconnect you from your mind because it's a tool you use. But I am trying to disconnect you from the thought that it's who you are. That's the key.

We think our mind chatter is actually who we are. And nothing, kids, nothing could be further from the truth. That who you are is that little boy or that little girl that hugs the pillow at night and wonders if anybody knows who they are... if anybody hears their thoughts... if anyone knows that they're alive. Does God see me? I'm so small... I'm so insignificant... Can God hear me? Do I have Angels, really?

So setting yourself on a path that says: You know what, I'm going to use my mind for what it needs to do but it has nothing to do any longer with who I am. And I'm going to come from a place in my heart that speaks with the power of Spirit. And remember, kids, when you identify with yourself, in “belief,” “spiritual belief,” your Angels, your Guides, your Helpers, your Friends... they're all there, you just plug right into it. And you feel so much better... you feel so much nicer... you feel as though you have hope. You feel as though you have dreams that can come true. No matter what they are - because they're your dreams. And yes they can come true and they will come true if you "believe them." Okay?
