HANS:
Hi, everyone. When we come onto this plane, we’re given a clean vessel. We’re given a bag of goodies to play with. Those are all of our dharmic lessons and karmic lessons and all the things we wanted to go through, so we’re born with a clean slate.

Now, in one of the bags there’s a little bag that says ‘leftover business,' and in that bag that says ‘leftover business’ are things we didn’t quite get to last time, or we weren’t happy with the results we got from trying to learn that lesson. So that’s thrown into the mix, but it’s never the largest bag. The largest bag is the empty vessel. And as we start to go through life we start adding more and more and more and more to the vessel. And eventually, if we’re not careful, we get to the top where we can’t put another thing into the vessel.

What do we do? What happens? How do you let go of stuff you think is so important to you? I want everyone, tonight, tomorrow, to sit down quietly and make a list of all the things you thought you were going to do at this time last year. What was going to be your New Year’s resolution for January? Did you make a list? Have you checked them out?

What we tend to do, is we make our list of New Year’s resolutions in our consciousness or on a piece of paper, but we never finish them. And so each year as we go along that list gets bigger and bigger and these down here become, "Gee, I wish I could have. Gee, I wish I had done that."

This time we’re going to ask you to begin to clear the slate. How do you let go of something that you think is very important to you? Is it important to you or are you just holding it in memory? Are you holding on to an old relationship that didn’t work? Because it could have worked? Or maybe you should have done something better?

Are you holding onto regret? Are holding on to, Gee I wish I had not said that. Are you holding onto to anything that isn’t a positive—that’s the key—a positive in your life. Have you set your intentions now to look at all the stuff you're dragging along like this old Santa Claus?

When I first met Alfred he had a bag of Santa Claus things, that was huge. Remember that?

ALFRED:
Well, that’s what we’re taught. We’re taught you're responsible for creating your life, it’s up to you. You don’t get what you deserve; you get what you negotiate. So we’re taught this is the thing that has to create your long term goals you have to go after them, how am I doing compared to my goals? Well, that’s all separation. That’s called you by yourself trying to figure out your life. We say, there’s a different option.

The other option is there’s an army of supporters who are there waiting to help you as long as you stop disconnecting from those people, by thinking, by trying to control the outcome, by this old bag of stuff, you are separating yourself from that which you asked for.

HANS:
Very important what you just said—that you asked for. Most people I find become a victim not knowing they actually asked for the experience. I asked for my family.

ALFRED:
Yes. You asked for your family. Believe it or not.

HANS:
That’s a hard one.

ALFRED:
What we’re trying to say is, what to look to let go of. So the things you want to let go of are creating the opportunities for a blank space to allow things to come into your life. Step one is about surrendering. Surrendering how you think it has to be, surrendering what you thought had to happen, surrendering going back after goals, surrendering going back after your New Year’s resolution, right Hans?

HANS:
Exactly. So this is the time to make it okay. What I want you to hear today folks is—it’s okay. We’re not perfect. If we were perfect, we wouldn’t be here. I’m so far from perfect, I’m pleased. It’s okay. It’s okay to say, well I’ve held onto this too long without being guilty of hanging onto it.

I have clients and friends today who are holding onto relationships that they had thirty years ago and still bemoaning them. What if I’d said this? What if I’d got done that? This is the time that you’re going to make that list of all the things that are not working for you because we have to clear the vessel. We have a saying in my profession—no two things can be in the same place at the same time. You’ve heard me say this for years, but do you actually hear that? For all that you wanted, all that you’re going to try to pull in your life, where are you going to put it if there’s no place?

ALFRED:
The first step is to start creating the list.

HANS:
Yes, that’s the key.

ALFRED:
The list of all the things you want to let go of.

HANS:
And Alfred, that’s not easy to do.

ALFRED:
No. No, it’s not easy to do but basically what makes you unhappy, what makes you upset, what makes you stressed, where do you see you’re trying to control your life?

HANS:
Yes, and where are you putting all your energy that isn’t working?

ALFRED:
So the first step is to create that list. To be aware, to be conscious, to set your intention to say you know this is stuff I’m going to let go of.

HANS:
And again folks, just to hear Alfred and I talk about it sounds easy. No, it’s not. Alfred, you’re still working on some stuff. I’m still working on stuff.

ALFRED:
So lesson two is, how when you have your list of things to let go of, how do you let go of things you’ve been holding onto for awhile?

HANS:
By refusing to fund energy to them anymore. Now have we come full circle here? Once again, what does it come back to? The mind chatter. Because as you start to let go, as you make your list the next couple of days folks, watch the mind chatter sneak in. Watch the mind chatter try to sabotage the intention.

ALFRED:
So what we’re trying to do is severe your energetic connection between you and that person, between you and that thing, between you and that thought. There is an energetic connection between people, between thoughts, between intentions. What we’re trying to say is, number one: stop giving energy to it, and number two: come up with some implement—a large pair of scissors, a saw, whatever it is, you can picture severing the energetic connection from yourself to that thing.

HANS:
So, our mind chatter tells us what it thinks is important. Our heart tells us what we know is important. Love is important, the love of self is important. Unencumbering yourself from old fears, old doubts, is important. Learning to love the self is important. And we have folks, tons of free products online, recordings, to help you to work on this issue.

ALFRED:
So what we’re trying to say here is, it’s necessary to let go of your attachment to something so that you can create space.

HANS:
And that will conclude today’s lesson.

Topic: The Law of Unconditional Love
December 12, 2014

Hans:
Hello everybody. What a beautiful day today and we're so blessed to have God in our life. Today I want to talk about the Universal Law of Unconditional Love. This is a really difficult lesson because in our world, as we go through our daily lives doing all the things that we have put in motion to do, we come across situations, we come across people, circumstances, things, that just, may I say, just tick us off, make us upset, press our buttons... a friend says something that you thought was unkind, or a parent calls and tells you they were disappointed in you about something. And it's just really hard to just say: You know what, I love them, I bless them, I release my judgment of this. And folks, when we look at the news and hear all the things that are going on every day, it's hard to remember that we're in a world of illusion that has been created by mankind. There is no reality to what is going on. It's just different people's illusions of what should be. And of course when you turn on your television, what you have is a bunch of pundits, a bunch of people who surmise they know something, that they're going to tell you how it really is. But all it is is their opinion. Nothing more kids, nothing more. Simply their opinion. So the wonderful thing about unconditional love, if we put it in our heart, is that we begin to view life a bit differently. Okay? A bit differently. We say: Oh wait a minute, I'm not going there because I'm going to get a judgment in there and that's not what I want to do. That's not where I want to be. And so, when we learn to filter the appearance of reality, we stop being bothered and hurt by it.

I had a friend who called me recently and she was very, very concerned because she thought I had said something. What she heard was that I was unhappy with her or displeased with her. And I had her go back and read the email that she sent me about her hurt. And I paused here for a moment. I said: Where you're saying this, where this is coming from, what is that for you? Did you hear me say those words? And she said: No, I didn't. But I thought the way you had written it was that you were displeased with me. I said: Well, I'm a very big boy now and I'm capable of telling you if I'm displeased with you and I wasn't. But I wonder why you're coming from that place. Where in you, does what I was saying, turn into a condemnation? And so we sat down and we had a look at it. And what she saw was through her childhood, she had learned to view things a little bit askew because she couldn't figure out what was going on. And so her mind chatter simply made up what she perceives the reality might be.

And there's an old saying that you have heard me say for many years that says: You see what you look for, you know. And if you're slightly depressed, or there's a dark cloud hanging over you and you're walking around with it, you will see depressing things children. You will see it. If you're slightly depressed, nothing you're doing will seem like it fits, seem like it's real. But if you stop for a moment and you say: From this day forward, I'm deciding not to listen to anything but unconditional love. I'm going to give it and I'm going to be available for it. This brings up another problem. Because, Alfred, haven't you noticed that so many people find that maybe they're not good enough for unconditional love?

Alfred:
And it's really those aspects of mind chatter, of humanness, that take us away from our spiritual true selves. It's when we are as Spirit, expressing unconditional love as our natural state, but what really limits us is the mind chatter, the humanness of fear, of judgment, of doubt. Okay? It's those areas or basically any aspects of humanness that limit us from vibrating, from being as Spirit and from expressing unconditional love effortlessly.

Hans:
You know Alfred, in the Spirit there is no such thing as depression. There is only unconditional love, not conditional love. So we actually, Alfred, come from, our resource actually, is unconditional love.

Alfred:
Yes, it's our mind chatter, our humanness that puts conditions on the love. And the definition of unconditional is there is nothing. And that is true spirituality is there is no judgment, there is no opinion, there is no fear, there is no doubt. And it is by removing those things, by doing the inner work, that you're more able, more freely able, more effortlessly able to express unconditional love.

Hans:
Absolutely. You know Alfred, for many years one of my primary teachings has been: What if you found out that nothing was wrong? Absolutely nothing. That all the pain comes out of your mind's perception of what is real. Not what is real. Because the only reality is love. The only true reality is God. And the unconditional love that you have from the Spirit World is unconditional at all times. So any time you say to me: Well, God must not love me or why isn't God protecting me... All this, all of these things, come out of a place of conditional love which is what your mind programs you to see.

You know I had one parent who said to her daughter: You know if you loved me you wouldn't treat me this way. Well, that child grew up that way. She grew up thinking she wasn't capable of giving unconditional love. I said: No, that's just only your mother's perception of who you are and what you're doing and saying. If we all go back and we look at how our behavior from 20 or 30 years ago, we're not that same person. As we have grown, the Spirit has grown with us and brought us forward. But they keep pointing out to us unconditional love. Unconditional love. This is the key of life. Unconditional love. Not being offended by someone else's thoughts. Not offending somebody else by our thoughts. Any time we start to develop a negative thought, we need to stop for a moment and say: Wait a minute. I don't really know this person. I'm judging their behavior. But then, am I judging them as well? I don't know them. I don't know where they've come from. Native American peoples used to say: Judge no man unless you walk a mile in his moccasins. Very true. I taught you for years folks that who somebody is and their behavior are always two different things.

Folks, spiritual opinion as given to me is: That all is perfect. All is in perfect right order. Nothing is wrong. But our mind chatter is so active in pointing out this individual, or that situation, and then trying to comprehend somebody else's thinking, which is of course totally impossible. Deal with your own emotion. Alfred used to say, back in the day, when he was beginning to develop himself... One of the things Spirit told him to do was if you want to see perfect and unconditional love, go look at a flower. Remember that Alfred?

Alfred:
Absolutely and it is the separation of your true self from that which limits you. It is functioning as who you truly are that opens you. It is removing the mind chatter that has to do with fear, with judgment, with opinion, that allows you to more freely express yourself as who you truly are – as a loving spirit. These are the paths that we try to help you with in order to be happy here, more blissful, more loving on a daily basis.

Hans:
Every time I see someone who I think is in a difficult situation, I always say to Spirit: Bless that person please. Surround them in pure white light. Help them to understand whatever lesson there may be in this for them. And bring all that they need to them that they might discover who they are and to see past this illusion for themselves. That's really, really important. I tell the story of a young lady that I met may years ago in Carmel, California and she had wanted, very badly, to design fabrics I think, some of you have heard this before, and every time she designed a fabric, it looked like a batik from Bali. And one day her grandmother, she was 17 then, sent her to see me and in the process of her reading I said: You know you have some connection with Bali. And she said: Funnily enough, you know I've always wanted to go there and she said: I'm not certain why. And I pointed out that she had some connection with artwork and she said: Well I like to do batiks and she said: I feel that there's some connection but I don't know what it is. And I said: Well you won't discover it until you go to Bali. Well she says: Well I have no money for that Hans. I think I have $600.00 in my savings account. Right now that isn't going to happen, but it could happen one day perhaps.

Well the grandmother heard the reading. Because in those days I used to tape them. Anybody remember taping? And she heard that and when the granddaughter, for her 18th birthday, the grandmother gave her a ticket and a two week all expense paid trip to Bali. And the girl came to see me and what Spirit said to her was: Keep your eyes and your ears open with no perception of finding anything. Just go and be. Well ,she did and she still lives there today. She married an Australian boy. She began to design fabrics and her fabrics sell at Neiman Marcus... all the big stores, all around the world. And she's very famous. And she sent me an email once and she said: All I needed to do was be quiet and accept the unconditional love that God was giving me at that moment. And she said: That's what I've tried to give back. She went not knowing.

Alfred:
Isn't that one of the hardest lessons Hans? Is just not to “give” unconditional love but be wiling to “accept” unconditional love?

Hans:
That's what I was trying to say earlier, Alfred. Absolutely. It's much easier to give than to receive. Because when we receive our little boy and our little girl inside us is saying: Uh, I wonder why they're giving me this. Do I deserve this? What are they up to? I didn't ask for this. And starts to go through a whole series of mind boggling mind chatter. When you just should say: Thank you. Oh my gosh, this is wonderful! Have you ever had a little child, Alfred, give you a flower or give you a little painting that they have drawn for you? It's huge. It's huge.

Alfred:
Yes, it's not the size or the value of the present. It's that they gave it to you with love.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
And a lot of times you'll hear that about owners or cooks of restaurants is that they're not serving food, it's that they're serving love one plate at a time.

Hans:
Absolutely, absolutely. And that's what they're well known for is individual love. I knew a restaurant in Los Angeles and it's name was King's Foreign Land and it was a very upscale
Oriental restaurant. Mr. King was a wonderful guy, he came from Hong Kong. But when you sat down, the owner would come to you and bring the chef and they would say: What are you looking to taste tonight? How are you feeling? What would you like us to do? They never had a menu. And they would create these incredible meals based on what somebody was feeling that night. That is unconditional love. And if there were a little more of it in this world we would all be better off. You see folks, unconditional love means you have no judgment. How's that for a tough one?

I know some of the most beautiful people in this world who still suffer from judgment – the appearance of what's wrong. Nothing is wrong, it's our perception of what's going on. Alfred fought me on this one for quite a long time. I said: That's only your perception. And he would get... being a Sicilian, he would get very crabby. He says: No, I can see it's hurt... My dad was the same. He used to say to me: Where is my God? Why is my God letting this happen to these people? Filled with love, filled with compassion, but he couldn't understand pain. Okay? He couldn't understand pain. I'll tell you one thing about the lesson of unconditional love, Alfred, the reason I'm cutting this short a little bit today is because people are really thinking about what we're saying.

Alfred:
Yes, there was a lot in that lesson. There really was.

Hans:
There really was.

Alfred:
I mean it is not about loving. It is about allowing yourself to let go of judgment, let go of opinion, let go of fear, so that you can naturally be a loving soul, a loving spirit.

Hans:
That's right.

Alfred:
It's like if you're trying to be happy, don't try to make yourself happy.

Hans:
No.

Alfred:
It's you can make yourself happy by giving. Then you will find true happiness.

Hans:
Yes, absolutely.

Alfred:
Okay, so what the lesson really has to do with is shedding those things, those mind chatters, those ways of being, those habits...

Hans:
Let me go back and talk about perception. We need to shed perception. Replace it with unconditional love. Even, Alfred, even if it doesn't mean any sense to you at the moment, as long as you begin to practice it, that's what you will begin to draw towards you and that really makes the Spirit smile. And that will conclude our lesson for today.

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to MODERN DAY MYSICISM being broadcast on The World Puja Network. Tonight's topic: "Karma and Your Next Life". Hi, I'm Alfred, the Padawan to the Modern Day Mystic himself. We have a interesting topic. We have the subject and a lot of the questions were sent in by our Spiritual Circle Members. So we have an interesting topic that was requested by some of Hans' followers. So without further ado I present to you Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Good evening everyone. It's wonderful to be back with you this evening. A beautiful day here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. This particular subject "Karma" has been asked in so many different ways by our clients throughout the years and I've tried very hard to help everyone to understand exactly what "Karma" is. Karma is the sum total of all the thoughts you produced, all the deeds you produced, while you were in the human form. We like to say that the Universal Law that governs all things is the Law of Cause and Effect. Now, this Law was put in place by the Great Spirit...by God if you will. Now God does not regulate the Law on a regular basis for you. The Law regulates itself and it's impeccable. It cannot be altered, it cannot be changed, no matter what we think. So Karma, after awhile, produces a Dharma, or a history of deeds. And your Dharma, when you're returning to this Side, speaks to issues left undone, issues that you want to do. So your Dharma basically speaks to how you worked on your Karma. Some of the questions that have come in to us... Here's one: Is Karma God's law to regulate good and bad behavior? No, it is not. God doesn't regulate good and bad behavior. God allows us our own energy to regulate our own good and bad energy and that again is called our Dharma. In our daily life we produce our Karma and our Karma that is returned to us and adds to the Dharma in our lives. So we are constantly working on issues and situations that we might have not come across before and we feel we didn't do right by those issues and we really stress to make certain that we live within the very fine law of good Karma. Now is Karma simply part of your live review? Yes, it is. But you also bring in with you your Dharma so that the Karma would be how you operated in your last lifetime. So your Dharma would be how you wanted to operate. In other words, your Dharma speaks to the things you might have missed, the things you want to work on. So it is the sum depository of all your thought. Now Cause and Effect is a difficult lesson to try to explain to people   because it is the sum total of all thought at all time that operates in and or around you both in this dimension and the next dimension. In other words what is advancing towards you is being produced from your Dharma. So it is how you handle what is being produced. Now if you are a person who is let's say a rather loving and kind individual and does good deeds and tries to think of decent thoughts for other people and love animals and the trees... In other words if you operate in a loving, peaceful place, that is the energy that will begin to return to you. Now if you are an individual who has struggled a lot and may be very unhappy and angry in a previous lifetime, then that energy is being produced "for you", "by you". Now let's remember one thing that's very important. And I had a lot of problems with Alfred on this one. I'm going to go to him shortly. There is nothing being given to us we did not either produce or ask for. Alfred, you had quite a problem with that when I was trying to help you with that. Do you remember?

Alfred:
Oh yes. Especially for us old souls who had ever so interesting family lives. One of the hardest lessons, but most miraculous and freeing lessons, was that you asked for your childhood.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
And once you get the fact that as an old soul you wanted a lot of lessons up front so you could have more compassion and do more things later on in life, then it finally made sense to say: Oh, well yes. If you've been through the easy stuff as an old soul you would want more and more difficult lessons earlier in life...

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
So yes, it did resonate with me eventually that I asked.

Hans:
I remember that you struggled with that though.

Alfred:
Well yes, of course.

Hans:
You once said to me: I would not have chosen...

Alfred:
Of course. For those of us who have been 10, 20, 30 years thinking I was as an abused child. It may take a couple of months to get rid of that 20 or 30 years.

Hans:
In some people's cases it may take a couple of lifetimes.

Alfred:
Yes.

Hans:
Someone wrote in here: Can God dictate what you must do? Absolutely not. God is a benevolent loving God. It does not dictate to anyone anything. The Laws are immutable, they are in place - period. We either choose to live within the confines of those rules or we venture outside until we get smacked enough by our own thought forms coming at us that we begin to see: Oh, wait a minute. Maybe I need to change the way I perceive things. Did that happen for you Alfred?

Alfred:
Yes. You have a choice to follow your mind, follow your ego, and then you're just in isolation and misery and pain "or" you can try something different, try these spiritual things that Hans tries to teach us every week and see if you feel different. And basically I came up with a little thing to say: Hmm, maybe God wants you to be happy. Maybe corporations or the western way of being stressed out of your mind...let's try a different way. Let's try to be happy. And that was a little difficult to let go considering, as many of you know, I paid an enormous amount of money to learn how be stressed out of my mind. I'm sure a lot of you also have that situation. So it is a "choice" but it takes a little while to incorporate that choice into your life.

Hans:
So can God dictate what you must do? No. After the Laws are in place and you've agreed to be part of the Law, which is what you do, then God turns loose and allows the Law to run its natural course. Now here's an interesting question that was sent to us: If you have created negative energy through a deed, is it God's will or yours to revisit the issue? Yours. Very, very simple. The Godforce does not "interfere" with the "humanness" of us. Remember what we've always tried to teach you: In that one of the greatest gifts that God gives you is the Law of Free Will. Through time you will learn, through lifetimes, how to regular yourself. You will learn what brings you positive energy, positive awareness and you will learn what brings you negative and harmful energy. But you are the only one, both here and in Spirit, who judges your actions. What say you Mr. Alfred?

Alfred:
Well that makes sense that by following the Law of Free will that you are ultimately in charge of what happens. You're in charge of your pain, your misery, your suffering... You're in charge of your happiness, your bliss, your joy. You're in charge of whether your deeds bring positive or negative energy to yourself or those around you. I didn't know that. I was taught there was only one way and this is the way and that's it...this is the path. And I'm like: Well, if I'm following this path and I'm so successful, why am I so miserable? What we're trying to tell you is there's a choice. You have choices. “Everything” is a choice. Your life is your choice, your Dharma - your path in life is your choice. How you handle things on a moment to moment basis, that's your choice. And that's a huge amount of what I've learned through the years of Hans' core teachings is in every moment, in every thought and every action, by the Law of Free Will you have a choice. Yes, many of those choices are very difficult. To let go of someone you love, to leave someone who's abusing you, to walk away from family or friends are of not like-mind or vibration. Those are very difficult. But it's a choice and you have the choices to stay where you are or go a different path. You have a choice to follow the crowd or create your own path in life. Of course, the ones where you're creating your own path and leading the way, those are the more difficult ones but if you've think about the people who've done the difficult deeds in life - Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, think of the good that they have done. That's pretty much the life of an old soul. You have been trained young, you asked for those lessons and now it's you choice whether you're going to follow through, learn the lessons and do great things in life. But even though it is your path, even though you have chosen it before you were born, every decision you make determines the strength of your soul. And that's where soul growth comes from.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
That you choose, by the Law of Free Will, what you do, what you think.

Hans:
Now there's an important statement from Alfred. It is very important to remember that no Godforce, no spiritual force, makes us come back to visit this plane. We make that decision ourself based on what our soul has chosen to learn after recognizing our previous lifetimes. The positives and the negatives we say: You know I'd like to revisit that subject. That's not what I would have done. I would have tried something else. I would like the opportunity to go back and adjust that. And that's when I've taught you that you get together with your pals and buddies and with your Guides and Angels and you look at your Dharma and from the Dharma - which is the sum total of all you've already done - you create the possibility of what you would like to learn during this next visit. You see? Now I want to point out again to you that no one puts your lessons in place but you. No one makes you return here but you. So if you want to blame anybody, blame you. And I mean that in the nicest of ways. Realize you are living the totalness of all of your previous lives in this lifetime. That's why I said to you awhile back what my dear friend Alexandra used to say: I wonder what's in this for me today? You see never becoming a victim of it. Because when we become a victim of it, we say there's something wrong. I would say that 90% of the questions that are asked of me about relationships, people already know the answer to. They just don't want to hear it. So the Law of Free will simply states: You are ultimately in charge of what happens in your lifetime. There are exceptions to every rule. We have murder, we have bombings, we have tragedies of various kinds... But even then if you return to Spirit early you will still want to come back to another lifetime and get on with the process. Okay? So understanding that Karma and Free Will govern your Dharma, Karma and Free Will open you up to the possibility of the all the good you are, all the possibilities that you have chosen. I think one of the greatest possibilities is to choose to not be a victim of anything. Alfred, what do you think?

Alfred:
True. That is your mind trying to protect you. That is your ego trying to protect you by saying: These people did this to you. You have to be careful. We have to protect you from that happening again. And that is what isolates you from happiness, Godforce, Guidance, bliss, peace. It is not protection that makes you safe and happy. It is letting go of the past. It is believing that there is nothing more important, or nothing more relevant, than just the current moment.

Hans:
So everything, as Alfred is saying, is in the moment. It is how you react to the conditions that are advancing towards you. So if you stop for a moment and you think: Oh, God didn't choose this job for me, I did. Spirit didn't choose this partner for me, I did. Spirit didn't choose where I choose to live or what clothes I choose to buy or what car I choose to drive, I did. And once you begin to understand that then you become a little more responsible to yourself in the decision making arena. Most people that I have known have known in the beginning whether or not whether a relationship would work for them or not. But what they chose to do is to confuse attraction for a positive sign. In order words: Oh, I'm attracted to this person...  But is it a physical attraction? Is it a personal attraction from the soul? What is this? And rather than take their time and discover what's in the relationship, they head off right away to buy furniture and build a house. And then when it all falls apart, because there was nothing there in the first place, then they get angry and say: How could God be like this to me? And the other person's a schmuck. And woe is me. Is Karma merely a choice whether to revisit an event to grow your soul? To some degree that is true.

Alfred:
So it seems that Karma basically just keeps "notes" on what you've done in life...

Hans:
Yes, that's a nice way of putting it. Yes.

Alfred:
That when you go back to the Other Side and you're reviewing your life and you review your Dharma about what things you did and what things you got to, Karma comes in and helps you understand: Did you them, shall we say, well? Did we do them according to your expectations? Did you create negative energy in the universe? Is there something you might want to revisit or was there a new issue that Karma attracted to say: Hmm, that wasn't in my original Dharma. I did get into a sticky situation. Let me go and revisit that to see if I can do a better job. And that sticky situation was, shall we say, taken "note of" in your Karma? How's that for a review?

Hans:
Not bad. There is a little one sticky wicket folks. And this is the part you don't want to hear and Alfred this is the part you don't like - Thoughts are living things. And in every action, there is a reaction. So every time we step on an ant, every time we send a negative thought towards another person, all that is being placed in the Karma and being attached to the Dharma. And that means that all those things that you have done that are negative or hurtful to other people must be visited upon yourself. So here's the key folks: The cleaner the thought, the kinder the next go around. So it isn't just that you think about a good thing every once in awhile, you need to shift yourself into as positive a life as you can. Okay? Now people ask me: Is there any kind of a Dharma that stops us from being who we'd like to be in this lifetime? And the answer is: No. There's no such thing. However, some people may have to struggle like the dickens to get where they want because there was so much negative Karma attached to them that they chose to work off...they have to work that off first. But it always comes around anyway. So, Alfred on Karma and Dharma are there any questions that you might have?

Alfred:
No, I think it's trying to explain a very complicated subject in a very simple way that would really help people understand that it may be incredibly important to them to focus on what's going on in their life. And yes it is important to focus on what's going on outside and what you do and maybe even less as to what's going on with the rest of the world. Because, for example, you had mentioned that even "thoughts" are possibly part of your Karma...

Hans:
Oh, they are. There's no doubt whatsoever.

Alfred:
Such as if I had a negative thought about someone, then that becomes part of your Karma to say: Hmm, maybe next life I want to see if I can have positive thoughts...

Hans:
Well you will be led in that direction. We actually are removed from some of the  response. In other words, when we're coming back, Alfred, there's automatic attachment of negative deeds to the Karma as you enter, despite all the other things you want to do.

Alfred:
And as I think it was Mahatma who had a very long list of things to say: Be careful of your thoughts because they eventually could become actions. And that's why you do the inner work is that your actions also create Karma and if you have good thoughts, if you are peaceful, if you are happy, then your actions will be positive, giving positive energy. And during your life review you can review your Karma and say: Hmm, I did good things. So Karma basically is, as we were talking about, something that tracks the sum total of your actions, your being, your energy, your thought, your way of life, your reaction to circumstances that eventually you revisit and is brought to you during your life review. Okay? And then once you say: Okay, this was my Dharma, here is my Karma of basically reviewing how I thought and reacted to all of the individual situations throughout my life. Then with the guidance and wisdom of those who are all around you, you can say: Okay, well let me determine if and when if I come down next time what is going to be my new Dharma, my new path in life so that I can address those issues that created negative energy or negative Karma in my past life. I think I can do a better job. And again that's you. That's the Law of Free Will coming in and coming in and saying: I'm the one who is choosing to revisit this issue, to revisit this negative Karma, to revisit this negative emotion, this thing that I did that I wasn't very happy with. I can do a better job.

Hans:
Yes. True.

Alfred:
How's that for a review?

Hans:
Not bad for a foundling. Very good...

Alfred:
Foundling?

Hans:
Foundling.

Alfred:
Is that above or below Padawan?

Hans:
It's right in there in the same area.

Alfred:
It's a form of Padawan?

Hans:

(Hans Laughing) Yes... It's a form of Padawan. I think that will conclude the lesson for this evening Alfred.

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to GUIDANCE FOR YOUR LIFE. And we have a new tag-line! Now it is "Guidance For Your Life - Wisdom For Your Soul". And we thank you all for participating in our tag-line contest. We've announced on Facebook the winner who has won a free reading from Hans. And we're going to talk just a little bit about what that new tag-line means. If you're looking at it, and it says "Guidance For Your Life - Wisdom For Your Soul" is there really wisdom for your soul? No. Because your soul has everything that you really need. What we help you do is lead you back to your soul so that you can live the best life that you possibly could. What we do is we always give you information as much as we possibly can, about releasing humanness so that you can be the soul that you truly are. So that's why, not only was it our choice but it was your choice because we actually put it up to you in our Facebook Contest for you to pick the tag-line and that was the one that you chose. So welcome to GUIDANCE FOR YOUR LIFE - Wisdom For Your Soul. As for what's happening this week, there's only one event but it is a biggy! We don't do any traditional advertising so we really do appreciate when you "Share" or "Re-tweet"  what we post up to social media. And that's it for the housekeeping. So without further ado, I present to you the Modern Day Mystic himself Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Hello everyone, how are you? Nice to be with all of you. Alfred, I think we forgot to mention the topic for the day.

Alfred:
Well it's sort of an interesting topic Hans. How would you like to describe it?

Hans:
How does a spiritual being live in a world that seems so violent? What do you think?

Alfred:
That's pretty much it. What we were talking about before the show was all the violence that's going on in the world. Whether it's in Russia, Somalia, Israel,  Palestine...all the violence that's going on. How do you deal with that in a spiritual sense?

Hans:
Well the most important thing everybody to realize is remember when I taught you for years that: They themselves are makers of themselves. There's a reason to teach you this. What you see going on in the world today, in our country, in Russia, the Ukraine, some African countries...what you're seeing is a man-made illusion. Is there pain? Absolutely. Is there suffering? Absolutely. Man's inhumanity to his fellow man is shocking at best. But remember that you're just a baby angel having a human experience. And the only way, the only way you can be hurt by this is if you open yourself up to the appearance of the pain. What you can do is Bless it. You can take your energy, add your light, your energy and send it out into the world and say to Spirit: Please use this energy to try to heal, to try to help. Remember that Spirit and the Godforce are working tirelessly every single day trying to bring harmony and peace. Now you say to me: Well Hans it doesn't seem to be working. On the contrary, my good friends, it is working. Many of you don't remember that just 70 years ago the world literally tore itself apart. 200,000,000 people died. Not 5,000 here, or 3,000 there. We lost in World War II 456,000 boys and girls. We lost another 50,000 in Korea. We lost another 48,000 people in Vietnam. So it's getting "better". What we have today that we have today that we didn't used to have is social media. We have instantaneous... You can take a picture now and literally send it around the world. So it's constantly up in our face. Are there tragedies? You're darn right there are. Of course there are. But you don't have to be part of the drama. You can send your healing energy to help others. Send love to help others. You can make a difference every single day. But the most important thing you must do is to close yourself off from the affect of the pain. For instance, this Mr. Foley who unfortunately suffered a tragic ending at the hands of people who are past whatever a human being should be. That's just my own personal opinion. Past it. There's no rational good that can come from an act like that. And my heart has gone out to him. My heart has gone out to his family. Surround that family in love. Surround them in light. Alright everyone? But it's getting better. It's so much better now than when I was a young man. When I was a young man we were waiting for nuclear bombs to fall on Los Angeles. And we were trained to duck and cover. We had to drop where we were, crawl under something. We had drills. Atomic Bomb drills. So it is better. But the world is also getting more sensitive. We're finding that people now are far more sensitive to these situations because it's so much up in your face everyday...between the News and Facebook and Twitter and YouTube and all of this stuff is everywhere all the time. This is one of the reasons that we had the  show the other day which we talked about constantly being on-line. Because you're constantly being bombarded with what's wrong. Alfred, what's your opinion on what we've been talking about?

Alfred:
One thing is I was just having a discussion with one of the Tele-seminar hosts that you're going to be on next month and his question to me was: Why do bad things happen to good people? How can you make sense out of tragedy? And I said: It's not obvious. But basically it resides on the Law of Free Will. God does not stop bad people from doing things. Because there is the Law of Free Will. You have the ability to do whatever you choose here.

Hans:
Yes, but God does encourage them not to do bad things.

Alfred:
Exactly. God tries to sway or persuade people “from” doing bad things. However, God, according to the Law of Free Will, cannot interfere with individuals decisions or actions. On the other hand, for those people who are doing good, God lends energy, God lends support, you get positive karma. Likewise if you do bad things well there's negative karma and you have to deal with that eventually. But nowhere in there is that God or Spirit have the right to stop anything that people are doing. So unfortunately, bad things just happen. But without the support of Spirit. And unfortunately there are sometimes where good people just bump up against a mean person. It was not coordinated, God had nothing to do with that happening. It's just some people were in the wrong place at the wrong time. So you can't look into everything that happens and try to find meaning. Sometimes the meaning is: Yeah, there's just mean people in the world.

Hans:
Alfred, that's very important what you just said. Trying to find meaning out of insanity will drive you crazy.

Alfred:
You know, why are mean people... Well if you take western culture to the extreme - I got mine, you got yours - I'm going to get mine as much as I can possibly get. I think there was a quote that we uncovered about a year or so ago Hans is that: All the problems in the world are because of greed.

Hans:
Um hmm.

Alfred:
So much of the world would be so much better without greed. But unfortunately we teach the world...

Hans:
How to be greedy.

Alfred:
...how to be greedy. And how to be violent in order to be greedy. So is there anything really wrong? No. There's just some mean people in the world.

Hans:
Again it goes back to what we teach. You were talking about free will. We have a choice. Most people who are doing wrong, know they're doing wrong. But they do it anyway, out of greed or lust or whatever. But Alfred, for those people who are overly sensitive, or older souls, how would you approach them as far as protecting themselves from all of the media and the hype and the social media about all that's wrong. What would you advise them to do?

Alfred:
Well, two things. Number one, don't watch TV.

(Hans Laughing)

Alfred:
I don't watch TV.  I refuse.

Hans:
Well you don't watch the News.

Alfred:
I don't watch the News. Occasionally I'll watch movies and very selectively. Lately I've been very picky about the movies because I don't want to see the violence. Just meaningless violence on television.

Hans:
What was that we went to see the other day?

Alfred:
Oh my God...

Hans:
And were absolutely appalled...

Alfred:
Awh, Expendables, the latest one. Just pure... If you want to know why people don't like the image of America, go see Expendables and you see that they make it wonderful to kill people.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
It's a good thing...that you're accepted.

Hans:
And not just a few, Alfred.

Alfred:
You're accepted into the group. You're part of a family if you go kill people on the other side of the world. That's the image that Hollywood portrays. Now again is there anything wrong? No, that's for people who want that stuff and obviously spirituality is a choice. So point number one, just don't see those movies, just don't watch the News. Are you going to miss anything? No. I haven't watched TV in 15 years and I don't miss it. Point Number two, if there is huge amounts of violence, have no judgment, have no opinion. If you think something is wrong, you have a judgment and you have an opinion. One of the fundamental principles of spirituality is: Have no judgment. Have no opinion. Things just are.

Hans:
And they are working themselves through.

Alfred:
Yes, and as Hans says: Whenever there is Spirit, Spirit has no judgment of the people. And that allows you to have one of the most difficult lessons to achieve, one of the most difficult lessons is to love “everyone” regardless of their actions. If you have an opinion or a judgment of something that someone did, it is very, very difficult to love that person. However, if you separate the soul from the person's actions and say: I have no judgment of your actions. But I love everyone just the same as Spirit does, as God does, as the sun shines on everyone equally.

Hans:
I do think Alfred probably many people will say: Well how can you not have a judgment? How can you not feel bad about what Hitler did? How can you not feel bad about what happened to China in World War II?  How can you not feel bad? And I would say to you: Wherever there is an action there is a reaction, folks. Nobody, but nobody could condone the kind of violence that has been happening. But it is getting better and it will be around for some time as long as man is greedy, as long as man is not whole and complete, there will be people who bring harm to others. But the original question was: How do "we" as spiritual beings distance ourselves from the pain? It is literally by not letting it in. You can choose each day, as I do, to surround myself in pure white light, each day, just like I say just wrapping myself in Saran Wrap and saying: Please bring light into that would bring darkness around me today. And opening myself up to all the possibilities for the day. Remember I said the word "possibilities". And I also say: Please lend my energy to the healing energy for the planet and for the people on it. Okay? And remember, today will be ancient history a hundred years from now. And nobody who was here then will ever quite understand what was going on. And as we become more enlightened, as spirits in human form, less violence will occur. And we are working on that. But there are still dark elements, dark forces, out of the dark place in the human scene that will continue to cause trouble for hundreds of years to come. But still I say to you: It is getting better. But you do not have to allow that pain into your heart. This question came from a friend of ours in New York: How does a spiritual being manage to get through this world without being literally knocked sideways by the appearance of the violence in the world? And so I hope folks that you understand that you do have, you do have an obligation to yourself to not allow yourself to absorb this pain. With Alfred, I no longer listen to the News. I no longer read the Newspaper. And what's funny is if  you take those things away and you turn your consciousness towards, as Alfred used to say, a flower, or the clouds passing by, or a baby's face, or an older couple walking along holding hands, then you will that the light far outshines the dark. Alfred, you? I sort of throw Alfred into the headlights here (laughing).

Alfred:
There was a channeling session I had a couple of months ago where They addressed this issue to me. And They said: What makes you think anything is wrong? What makes you think that we didn't design your realm to have these extremes? What makes you think all the souls who asked to incarnate to your realm didn't understand already the possibilities and the struggle in order to grow their soul? Think of if as trying to climb Mt. Everest. You've climbed a hill, you've climbed larger hills, you've climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, and you decided: You know what? I want the most difficult lesson just because it's there...the mountain is there. They know their hands could fall off, they know they could freeze, they know they could die, they know they could get caught in an avalanche... But is there a problem because the mountain is there? Or did the person who decided to climb the mountain willingly acknowledge the mountain and the task in front of them and choose and prepare and plan as we do before we're incarnated.

Hans:
I think Alfred, just holding that particular thought and then when somebody falls Alfred, or an avalanche comes, they talk about the tragedy that occurred on the mountain. And it wasn't a tragedy.

Alfred:
No. It was a choice...

Hans:
It was a self-made event.

Alfred:
It was a choice to come down and to be challenged. So the whole point is that the Other Side sees this similar to Mt. Everest. There is nothing wrong.

Hans:
No.

Alfred:
It's there for those souls who wish to come down to come for advanced spiritual lessons and for soul growth.

Hans:
So you're basically given a choice.

Alfred:
You are given a choice. Everyone has the choice whether to come down to this realms or other realms or not. So is it the problem that these obstacles and opportunities are here or is it simply that we made a choice to be here to experience life on this realm. And if you look at it that way, there is nothing wrong.

Hans:
Alright folks. I know that it sounds like Alfred and I don't care but nothing could be further from the truth. What we're trying to say is: Humanity is given a choice. That choice is to flourish, love, to give love, to accept the beauty of Spirit, the wonder of God in everything that you see. Every action that you have is perfect in every way. But your "reaction" - what people do to be noticed, what they do to calm their rage, what they do in the name of different belief systems, again is unconscionable. But it has nothing to do with you. You bring yourself into the light, you hold yourself in the light and you don't visit websites that have violence in them. You stay away from politics because they're nothing...

Alfred:
You stay away from violent games, violent movies...

Hans:
Stay away from violent games, exactly. They're constantly trying to sell Alfred some kind of a violent game on the internet, which you know is just unbelievable. Alfred, are there any games that are just fun and light-hearted?

Alfred:
Well from one of our listeners in Canada, he plays "Mickey's Adventure". I only play "Driving Games".

Hans:
Yes. Alfred plays...he's currently driving a Ferrari in his game by the way everybody. And he's also named his bicycle "The Ferrari" because...

Alfred:
Yes, because the one-speed beach cruiser is Ferrari Red.

Hans:

Ferrari Red... Find the humor folks in yourself. Love yourself. Go and look at the tweets that Spirit has been putting out. Yes, Hansy's tweeting. And find the joy in simplicity. There is always going to be violence until mankind finally gets it. And we are working towards it. But it may be 300 to 500 years before we arrive there. But in the meantime, know that you can choose to be happy or you can choose to be sad. You can choose to make a difference through positive thinking. You can send loving, healing thoughts to others. Put yourself in that position so when you ask: How can a spiritual being manage to live in a world that's so full of violence? You are not the violence, folks. Raise yourself up and above. Bless anything that you want to Bless. But don't take it in, okay? Don't let it come in. Alright Alfred, I think that concludes the lesson for today.
