Hans:
Hello everybody. What a beautiful day today and we're so blessed to have God in our life. Today I want to talk about the Universal Law of Unconditional Love. This is a really difficult lesson because in our world, as we go through our daily lives doing all the things that we have put in motion to do, we come across situations, we come across people, circumstances, things, that just, may I say, just tick us off, make us upset, press our buttons... a friend says something that you thought was unkind, or a parent calls and tells you they were disappointed in you about something. And it's just really hard to just say: You know what, I love them, I bless them, I release my judgment of this. And folks, when we look at the news and hear all the things that are going on every day, it's hard to remember that we're in a world of illusion that has been created by mankind. There is no reality to what is going on. It's just different people's illusions of what should be. And of course when you turn on your television, what you have is a bunch of pundits, a bunch of people who surmise they know something, that they're going to tell you how it really is. But all it is is their opinion. Nothing more kids, nothing more. Simply their opinion. So the wonderful thing about unconditional love, if we put it in our heart, is that we begin to view life a bit differently. Okay? A bit differently. We say: Oh wait a minute, I'm not going there because I'm going to get a judgment in there and that's not what I want to do. That's not where I want to be. And so, when we learn to filter the appearance of reality, we stop being bothered and hurt by it.

I had a friend who called me recently and she was very, very concerned because she thought I had said something. What she heard was that I was unhappy with her or displeased with her. And I had her go back and read the email that she sent me about her hurt. And I paused here for a moment. I said: Where you're saying this, where this is coming from, what is that for you? Did you hear me say those words? And she said: No, I didn't. But I thought the way you had written it was that you were displeased with me. I said: Well, I'm a very big boy now and I'm capable of telling you if I'm displeased with you and I wasn't. But I wonder why you're coming from that place. Where in you, does what I was saying, turn into a condemnation? And so we sat down and we had a look at it. And what she saw was through her childhood, she had learned to view things a little bit askew because she couldn't figure out what was going on. And so her mind chatter simply made up what she perceives the reality might be.

And there's an old saying that you have heard me say for many years that says: You see what you look for, you know. And if you're slightly depressed, or there's a dark cloud hanging over you and you're walking around with it, you will see depressing things children. You will see it. If you're slightly depressed, nothing you're doing will seem like it fits, seem like it's real. But if you stop for a moment and you say: From this day forward, I'm deciding not to listen to anything but unconditional love. I'm going to give it and I'm going to be available for it. This brings up another problem. Because, Alfred, haven't you noticed that so many people find that maybe they're not good enough for unconditional love?

Alfred:
And it's really those aspects of mind chatter, of humanness, that take us away from our spiritual true selves. It's when we are as Spirit, expressing unconditional love as our natural state, but what really limits us is the mind chatter, the humanness of fear, of judgment, of doubt. Okay? It's those areas or basically any aspects of humanness that limit us from vibrating, from being as Spirit and from expressing unconditional love effortlessly.

Hans:
You know Alfred, in the Spirit there is no such thing as depression. There is only unconditional love, not conditional love. So we actually, Alfred, come from, our resource actually, is unconditional love.

Alfred:
Yes, it's our mind chatter, our humanness that puts conditions on the love. And the definition of unconditional is there is nothing. And that is true spirituality is there is no judgment, there is no opinion, there is no fear, there is no doubt. And it is by removing those things, by doing the inner work, that you're more able, more freely able, more effortlessly able to express unconditional love.

Hans:
Absolutely. You know Alfred, for many years one of my primary teachings has been: What if you found out that nothing was wrong? Absolutely nothing. That all the pain comes out of your mind's perception of what is real. Not what is real. Because the only reality is love. The only true reality is God. And the unconditional love that you have from the Spirit World is unconditional at all times. So any time you say to me: Well, God must not love me or why isn't God protecting me... All this, all of these things, come out of a place of conditional love which is what your mind programs you to see.

You know I had one parent who said to her daughter: You know if you loved me you wouldn't treat me this way. Well, that child grew up that way. She grew up thinking she wasn't capable of giving unconditional love. I said: No, that's just only your mother's perception of who you are and what you're doing and saying. If we all go back and we look at how our behavior from 20 or 30 years ago, we're not that same person. As we have grown, the Spirit has grown with us and brought us forward. But they keep pointing out to us unconditional love. Unconditional love. This is the key of life. Unconditional love. Not being offended by someone else's thoughts. Not offending somebody else by our thoughts. Any time we start to develop a negative thought, we need to stop for a moment and say: Wait a minute. I don't really know this person. I'm judging their behavior. But then, am I judging them as well? I don't know them. I don't know where they've come from. Native American peoples used to say: Judge no man unless you walk a mile in his moccasins. Very true. I taught you for years folks that who somebody is and their behavior are always two different things.

Folks, spiritual opinion as given to me is: That all is perfect. All is in perfect right order. Nothing is wrong. But our mind chatter is so active in pointing out this individual, or that situation, and then trying to comprehend somebody else's thinking, which is of course totally impossible. Deal with your own emotion. Alfred used to say, back in the day, when he was beginning to develop himself... One of the things Spirit told him to do was if you want to see perfect and unconditional love, go look at a flower. Remember that Alfred?

Alfred:
Absolutely and it is the separation of your true self from that which limits you. It is functioning as who you truly are that opens you. It is removing the mind chatter that has to do with fear, with judgment, with opinion, that allows you to more freely express yourself as who you truly are – as a loving spirit. These are the paths that we try to help you with in order to be happy here, more blissful, more loving on a daily basis.

Hans:
Every time I see someone who I think is in a difficult situation, I always say to Spirit: Bless that person please. Surround them in pure white light. Help them to understand whatever lesson there may be in this for them. And bring all that they need to them that they might discover who they are and to see past this illusion for themselves. That's really, really important. I tell the story of a young lady that I met may years ago in Carmel, California and she had wanted, very badly, to design fabrics I think, some of you have heard this before, and every time she designed a fabric, it looked like a batik from Bali. And one day her grandmother, she was 17 then, sent her to see me and in the process of her reading I said: You know you have some connection with Bali. And she said: Funnily enough, you know I've always wanted to go there and she said: I'm not certain why. And I pointed out that she had some connection with artwork and she said: Well I like to do batiks and she said: I feel that there's some connection but I don't know what it is. And I said: Well you won't discover it until you go to Bali. Well she says: Well I have no money for that Hans. I think I have $600.00 in my savings account. Right now that isn't going to happen, but it could happen one day perhaps.

Well the grandmother heard the reading. Because in those days I used to tape them. Anybody remember taping? And she heard that and when the granddaughter, for her 18th birthday, the grandmother gave her a ticket and a two week all expense paid trip to Bali. And the girl came to see me and what Spirit said to her was: Keep your eyes and your ears open with no perception of finding anything. Just go and be. Well ,she did and she still lives there today. She married an Australian boy. She began to design fabrics and her fabrics sell at Neiman Marcus... all the big stores, all around the world. And she's very famous. And she sent me an email once and she said: All I needed to do was be quiet and accept the unconditional love that God was giving me at that moment. And she said: That's what I've tried to give back. She went not knowing.

Alfred:
Isn't that one of the hardest lessons Hans? Is just not to “give” unconditional love but be wiling to “accept” unconditional love?

Hans:
That's what I was trying to say earlier, Alfred. Absolutely. It's much easier to give than to receive. Because when we receive our little boy and our little girl inside us is saying: Uh, I wonder why they're giving me this. Do I deserve this? What are they up to? I didn't ask for this. And starts to go through a whole series of mind boggling mind chatter. When you just should say: Thank you. Oh my gosh, this is wonderful! Have you ever had a little child, Alfred, give you a flower or give you a little painting that they have drawn for you? It's huge. It's huge.

Alfred:
Yes, it's not the size or the value of the present. It's that they gave it to you with love.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
And a lot of times you'll hear that about owners or cooks of restaurants is that they're not serving food, it's that they're serving love one plate at a time.

Hans:
Absolutely, absolutely. And that's what they're well known for is individual love. I knew a restaurant in Los Angeles and it's name was King's Foreign Land and it was a very upscale
Oriental restaurant. Mr. King was a wonderful guy, he came from Hong Kong. But when you sat down, the owner would come to you and bring the chef and they would say: What are you looking to taste tonight? How are you feeling? What would you like us to do? They never had a menu. And they would create these incredible meals based on what somebody was feeling that night. That is unconditional love. And if there were a little more of it in this world we would all be better off. You see folks, unconditional love means you have no judgment. How's that for a tough one?

I know some of the most beautiful people in this world who still suffer from judgment – the appearance of what's wrong. Nothing is wrong, it's our perception of what's going on. Alfred fought me on this one for quite a long time. I said: That's only your perception. And he would get... being a Sicilian, he would get very crabby. He says: No, I can see it's hurt... My dad was the same. He used to say to me: Where is my God? Why is my God letting this happen to these people? Filled with love, filled with compassion, but he couldn't understand pain. Okay? He couldn't understand pain. I'll tell you one thing about the lesson of unconditional love, Alfred, the reason I'm cutting this short a little bit today is because people are really thinking about what we're saying.

Alfred:
Yes, there was a lot in that lesson. There really was.

Hans:
There really was.

Alfred:
I mean it is not about loving. It is about allowing yourself to let go of judgment, let go of opinion, let go of fear, so that you can naturally be a loving soul, a loving spirit.

Hans:
That's right.

Alfred:
It's like if you're trying to be happy, don't try to make yourself happy.

Hans:
No.

Alfred:
It's you can make yourself happy by giving. Then you will find true happiness.

Hans:
Yes, absolutely.

Alfred:
Okay, so what the lesson really has to do with is shedding those things, those mind chatters, those ways of being, those habits...

Hans:
Let me go back and talk about perception. We need to shed perception. Replace it with unconditional love. Even, Alfred, even if it doesn't mean any sense to you at the moment, as long as you begin to practice it, that's what you will begin to draw towards you and that really makes the Spirit smile. And that will conclude our lesson for today.

Alfred:
Good evening everyone and welcome to MODERN DAY MYSTICISM with Hans Christian King. Tonight is a very interesting topic - "The Possibility of Miracles". And what a wonderful time it is to start discussing miracles as Hans is so great about talking about bringing things into our lives. Without further ado, I present to you Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Good evening everyone. This is Hans Christian King. Welcome to the show this evening. Tonight's message, if you will, is exactly what Alfred said - "The Possibility of Miracles". Someone asked me a while back: Are miracles possible during times of lack? Oh, Heavens yes! In fact miracles shine brighter during times of lack. I have a dear friend, named Judy, and her license plate says: You Miracle. During times of lack is one of the few times we actually turn to Spirit and ask for miracles. During times of plenty, when everything seems to be going along fairly well, we don't bother to ask for miracles, because the appearance is we don't need them. And what we don't realize is the fact that we don't need them is the miracle.

Your connection with Spirit is always there. It only ebbs and wanes as you ebb and wane. Miracles, if you like to call them miracles, happen every day, all day. Let's say that you have to drive across town to your Dentist. On the way you pass many thousands of cars safely - that's a miracle. Every night that you go to sleep, you pray for unconsciousness, knowing that you will wake up in the morning. Although how that happens you don't know - that's a miracle. Flying across the country at 35,000 feet at 550 miles an hour and arriving safely in an aluminum tin can - that's a miracle. Every day, every day, you can count the miracles.

Awhile back Alfred was talking to you about the fact that he and I were busy running around catching miracles everyday. And that was true. We got so many miracles that we had to wind up asking them to turn off the bubble machine for a little bit so we could catch up with all the miracles they sent for us to do. Remember, lack is only an appearance. It really isn't true. You hear that? Lack is only an appearance, it's really not true. Lack is what your mind believes is happening, not what is actually happening. Have you ever noticed that how broke you get, somehow money arrives again? Have you ever noticed how sick you get with the flu, cold, whatever, have you ever noticed you get well again? Remember what I tried to teach you for all these years - that appearance is only passing through you. It is not your lifestyle, it is not where you're staying, pain, despair. The appearance of lack is replaced continuously in your life - there's another miracle. How many of you say: Oh, I don't know how I'm going to pay the rent this month, or I don't know how I'm going to pay the car payment, and somehow it gets paid. Do we ever stop for just a moment for just a moment and acknowledge the miracle that Spirit made to help you through?

There are going to be times in your life, in the appearance of lack, that things do not show up in your expectation. That is going to happen. But the fact that you are alive, the fact that you have options and choices is the miracle. You know children, sometimes we get slammed to the ground with what I call a trauma to the soul. And our heart if broken, and we're crying, and everything looks so bleak, and lack is everywhere...lack of joy, lack of hope, lack of the appearance of money. But all of those feelings, if you think about it, remind you you're alive.  And if you're wise you will know that no matter what the despair, no matter what the appearance, it will pass.

I once called a Wise Man that I know and his name is Ned. And something very awful had happened in my life and I was looking for him to fix it for me. And he wasn't being unkind, he was being a teacher, when he said: Hans, this will pass. I've got to go. And I thought, how cold, how unkind, how unfeeling. But he was right. He was absolutely right. Two days later it was all gone. It passed. So what I learned in the middle of the appearance of the disaster, if you could call what was going on for me, I had bought into the appearance of it. Forgetting all the while that it only came to visit me, it was only passing through, it wasn't going to stay so why should I spend all my time, you know, being upset about it.

I have a wise lady friend of mine who used to say when something incredible in appearance would happen to her, sort of a down-time thing, she would say: Um hmm, I wonder what I can make of this this time? I wonder what I can make of this this time? And she always came to the same conclusion: I can grow myself through this. I can look at this as a tragedy or I can look at it as an opportunity. There's the miracle. Children always remember that few things actually are as they appear. I know that sounds crazy to you, but it's true. Our perception tends to blow things out of proportion. Our perception tends to say that this is real, or that pain is real, or this is happening, when it's only an appearance. And if we say what my friend Alexandra used to say: Hmm, I wonder what I can make of this. I wonder how I can grow myself through this? She used to refer to being alive as "the human scene". "The big illusion of the human scene" is how she used to call it. She was an advocate of Joel Goldsmith, if any of you are old enough to remember Joel. And he talked about how we become victims of the human scene - how we get caught up in the appearance, and we forget that every day that we wake up, and we have these challenges is and of itself, a miracle.

I thank Spirit every night when I go to bed for the miracles that occurred in my life this day. And being in human form, and my staff with tell you I get crazy sometimes, and then I wind up giggling at myself remembering: Ah, you teach what you need to learn. Well, this happened today, so what am I going to learn from this? I have learned that my in my 68 years kids, that most appearances are illusions, most fears don't happen. We spend an enormous amount of time in our waking hours in our lifetime being concerned about illusions and about things that never benefit us.

I was giving a reading the other day to a lovely lady in London and she would not let Spirit fix her by explaining what was going on in her life. She kept saying: But this...but that...but what if this happens...what if that happens? And she so was caught up being a victim of the situation that she had lost all her sense of spiritual understanding and awares. And this was a young lady of 45 or 50 who taught this truth. But her relationship had said to her that morning: I don't think I can do this anymore. And she had no coping mechanisms in place for that situation.

You know, I have a friend that he used to say: You know Hans, relationships are like the subway, there'll be another one along here in 5 minutes. In other words, whatever your lessons is to learn through relationships, it will be presented to you. That's a miracle. Setting up housekeeping with someone who is opposite of you and you find a way to make it work, that's a miracle. Teaching a baby how to ride a bicycle, that's a miracle.

If we live in the possibilities of miracles. and don't live in the victimization of fear through illusion, our life takes on an incredible sense of wonder. Because no matter how difficult the lack may appear, remember always it has a corresponding opposite - that's how good you will feel, sad as you feel, how happy you will feel. Like a pen, I said this the other day, or a pencil - one writes on one end and one erases on the other. Everything in life, children, has a corresponding opposite. I repeat these truths through the years because we have a tendency when lack appears to forget our truth. Half the battle of spiritual growth alone is just trust...just trusting. Didn't somebody just write that 90% of success in life is showing up? It's true. Just show up! The worst isn't going to happen. The worst is that you believe it's true. Whatever the lack may appear as, half the battle of spiritual growth is to trust. And if you simply trust that no matter what is presented to you there's an answer, there is relief, it is growing to and through something... And sometimes you're in a relationship with someone and you love this someone to pieces, but you forget that this person came with their own baggage. They came with their own victimization. They came with their own lack. And you see this person and you love this person but every once in awhile their demons and their devils show up. Why, you think yours don't? But when you love someone you say: No matter what this appearance is, no matter how you're behaving, I see you you know. I see you. To me, that's the greatest statement you can ever say to another human being. I emailed James Cameron as a joke and said: You stole my line. I've been using that line for 45 years - "I see you".

Children trust in what you do not know. Trust in what you do not see. Every day. I don't quite remember, I don't quite remember what they said how many times, every day you trust the air, you breathe automatically without thinking a thing about it. You drive your car automatically without thinking a thing about it. You go to bed, you wake up, without thinking a thing about it. You don't go to bed  saying: Gee, I wonder if I'm going to wake up in the morning. You don't get in your car and say: Gee, I wonder if I'm going to have a bad accident today. You trust. You don't say I wonder if there's going to be any air for me to breathe today. I wonder if my heart will beat one more time. Trust in what you do not see. Trust in what you do not know. Because if you have a heart, a pure heart of trust, then you will know that whatever you will go through in your waking hours and in your bedtime hours, whatever you will go through, will always be to your highest good. Only the mind gets in there and messes with that reality. So having an understanding, having an awareness, that that God that loves you so unconditionally is always present, omnipresent in your life. The Spirit, the Messengers, the Angels - they're all there for you. Not lumping you into groups, not comparing you to others. Knowing full well that you're on a journey, you're on a mission. Knowing full well that their role is to walk “with” you, not “for” you. Knowing you have the ability to make decisions through a spiritual heart, not a mind that's filled with doubts and fears, but a spiritual heart.

My friend Alexandra used to say: No matter what shows up today I'm prepared for it because God is my champion. Spirit, they're my warriors. And I know they will turn the appearance of lack into the appearance into the miracles of opportunity and possibilities if I just believe. She's now 98, and she doesn't know who I am anymore. But if ever there was a champion in spirituality in my life, it was Alexandra. I have never known, nor I doubt will I ever know anyone who so lived their truth as she did. The mind, of course, has deteriorated due to dementia. And so she's walking in two worlds at one time now. But who she is is always in my heart. What she taught me, I can never ever forget. All of you will have an Alexandra at some point in your life. And even if from time to time you may disagree with what they say to you, remember Spirit helps us choose our friends to grow us. Spirit presents us with interesting possibilities through our friends, disappointments through our friends.

But the greatest gift that Spirit ever gave you in the appearance of lack, is the person looking back at you in the mirror. If you could simply take all the nonsense that's going on in your life, put it in a basket, put it in the garage and just say: From this day forward I am living a miracle. I have no lack. I am everything I need. Allowing Spirit to work on your behalf, allowing Spirit to open new doors. There are millions of miracles in your life waiting to occur. Lack is a refusal to accept miracles. The appearance of lack has nothing to do with money, children. Lack is a place in your heart that said I am not good enough for miracles. Therefore I will live in fear. Living in fear... I once told you that fear was it's own food. It creates lack on a daily basis. It creates lack from morning until night every single day of your life. The mind does not wake up in the morning for most people and say: You're enough for me today! We have no problems, we are a miracle, we expect miracles.  On the contrary it says: I wonder if I'll have the rent money. I wonder if he or she still loves me enough. I wonder if I'm going to get fired. I wondering if I'll ever get another job. None of the things I have just described, believe it or not, are of any importance in the long run.  All, children, the only thing that is important is the relationship to you and your God. That's it. There are no boundaries in that love. There are no victims in that love. There's only love in that love.

I have been accused from time to time as being simple minded or simplistic. I thank whoever started that rumor for me because I'll tell you what, I love my life and I love who I am. I love my intention. I love what I am doing. I'm not saying to you, beautiful people, that I am perfect. But I had a sign for many years on my refrigerator door at my home in Mexico that I loved. It said: I'm so far from perfect I'm pleased. Blue, see if you can take that and run with it, okay? (Hans laughing) I'm so far from perfect I'm pleased.

I have people in my life now... You want to talk about miracles? I have people who are listening tonight, making this broadcast possible, making the live streaming possible, the Facebook possible, people I don't even actually know...I've never met them. But their love and dedication to what, with Spirit, I'm trying to accomplish, what we're trying to say, has no bounds. It is amazing the beautiful people who have shown up. For those of you who are tithing to us so that we can produce these shows and the ministry, thank you, thank you, thank you, and you all know who you are. Sometimes I can't get right back to you, but please know you're in my heart and I thank you very much.

Tell Spirit the miracles you would like to see in your life and leave it alone. Remember to watch the mind chatter as it comes in and starts to play you up a bit. And it will do so. The mind is so fearful of a miracle that it continues to throw up the appearance of lack because it doesn't know what else to do. It would have no job if ever there was no need to worry. The mind would have no job because it doesn't have any congratulation skills. It doesn't have anything in its being that helps it to understand that it's nothing more than the opposite of God. The mind isn't fixated on the wonder of who you are, the mind isn't fixated on everything being okay. The heart-mind knows that. But we tend to, through the years, as the appearance of lack and tragedies and disasters in appearance occur in our life, it keeps reminding us: I told you so. I told you you weren't good enough.

Folks, there is oftentimes a situation where a person, sometimes in the humanness, is operated by two consciousnesses. Always go with the one that's in the light please. Never listen, never listen to the anger. Never listen to the fear. You know, the ugliest puppy deserves to be loved just as much as the prettiest puppy because there's absolutely no difference in the puppy's love. Sometimes situations do not appear to fit what you think is your modus operandi...how you would do things, or how you would be. But remember you haven't seen your dharma yet. You don't know what your soul chose to create. And sometimes the appearance of lack is nothing more than a lesson. And what is a lesson? A miracle waiting to happen. Because once you understand the lesson, the miracle occurs.

The burden, the pain... I was talking to a lady a couple of days ago and I believe she was out of Toronto. And she was angry, and she was resentful, and her husband had left her of 36 years, and all the terrible things that he was, and all of this and I said: Excuse me, are you saying that you regret having gone into the relationship? She said: It's the worst thing I ever did. I said: How many children do you have? She said: Four. Now, I said, are you resentful for being in the relationship. Oh my God, she said, maybe the relationship was between he and I to bring those angels on-board life. I said: You got it. And when that role was finished, there was no more purpose in the relationship other than to be friends, and to be a family for those four children. That's the miracle. You brought them on-board through heck or high water, you got them through, you got them up, you got them out, and they're good citizens. That is the miracle. But you're operating out of a place of lack. Woe is me, poor is me, oh look at my life, who's going to want me at 56? Who cares, I said. Who cares? You mean the only thing you have in life is validation from another person? Where's you? You've been married for 30 some years, I don't want you to have another relationship. And that's what Spirit said: We don't want you to have another relationship right now. We want you to have you. We want you to rediscover who you are. Let's bring you to you.

Sometimes children, sometimes when relationships no longer can survive or endure, we believe that something is terrible, something is wrong. The only thing that is wrong, that I know of, is when you start to throw stones and sticks at each other, rather than witness the wonder of what you had, regardless of whether you had good times or bad times, it was all mixed up. You had them both. Seeing your baby in that birth room for the very first time and you both start to cry. That's a miracle. Would you trade all of those miracles of the first step, the first tooth, out of your anger towards a partner that doesn't want to be with you anymore? Turn to that partner and say: Oh my God, thank you, thank you. And no matter how bad they're being, if they're fighting you for money, or support, whatever, say: Thank you for these children. Thank you for all the years we worked together. Because it's true. Do not be a victim of your own love. Bless the person, thank them, and move on.

The heart's a funny creature. It wants to keep calling up the invalidation. I have  been there, I know. But if you really think about it, would you have traded all the good times, would you have traded that experience for not having done the experience? I don't think so. There are times in our lives when we've taken up with somebody and said: Well, what did I do, take leave of my senses? (Hans laughing) But in the moment, it seemed liked the right and proper thing to do. Find the humor in it as I'm doing with you tonight. Find the humor...and say: Well... I once called my friend Ned and I told him about something and I said: I fail to understand what the lesson in this is. He says: Well, would you do it again? I said: No. He said: There's the lesson. He always taught me with very short, cryptic comments that were meant to grow me. One of the great lessons that Ned gave me, when I was in my 20's... We were to attend a meeting in San Francisco and as a young man of 22, 23 years old I thought I knew everything. We were walking up the court house steps to this meeting. He says: There's one thing I want you to do for me today. I said: Alright sir. He said: Shut up and listen. You don't have the answer Hans. Not yet. And I did. And when I turned my mind chatter off about how I thought the proceedings were going, it was amazing what I learned. So when you shut the mind chatter off, you'd be amazed at what you hear. You've heard me for years say: "You see what you look for you know". When you turn your mind chatter off in how it perceives things are that are appearing to you, you'd be amazed what you can see. There's the miracles.

So the possibility of miracles occur every day. The miracles are waiting to happen for you. Folks, I don't get you pep-talks, I give you spiritual wisdom. And maybe it's a spiritual pep-talk, who knows? But it's true. Miracles are waiting for you every single day. All you have to do - stop the mind chatter, stop listening to lack, stop being in lack, and let's see what happens for you. Alrighty, that's the lesson for this evening.

Hans:
Hello everybody. Welcome on-board. I was kind of amazed when Spirit told me what the topic would be today. I had asked: Well what you like to speak about today? And they said: The Magic Within Us All. And then I said: Well explain. And he said: This is what I was told. When we come onto this plane, we also arrive with a little...a little stack of magic tricks, okay? And those magic tricks are “forever”. We can use them, we can apply them to whatever situation that we want, we can conjure up all kinds of things. But The Magic Within Us All means that if you have “faith” and you “believe”, you can make your life and any situation in that life go your way. Miracles, magic. You are the magician of your own life. You can pick what you would like to do, where you would like to go, the results you would like to see. You are the magician of your own life. And what's so wonderful about that is nobody else actually has your bag of tricks. Nobody. Because your bag of tricks was given to you based on your particular dharma and the karma that you have accumulated. So it's unique unto you...unique. And so what I want everyone to understand is that no one doesn't have a magic bag. We all have a magic bag. What does that mean? It means that in each and every one of us there is a place of belief that miracles can attach to. There's a place inside of each and every one of us that holds the answer we're already seeking. So our little bag of magic tricks simply says: I believe them. Now when a magician, he or she, we'll just call it a magician, is about to do a trick, they never say: Gee, I wonder if this would work. They already know it works and half of the trick is the magician knowing it works. Half of your getting through this incarnation is “knowing” you have gifts. There's a magic within each and every one of us that connects directly to Spirit. So we can say: Well, I started to do this but I don't like it so I'd like to change it and I'm going to go down this road instead. Boom! Suddenly out of nowhere, energy produces itself to make that trick happen. So we can re-set our magic over and over and over again. And remember no one else has our bag of tricks. Alfred, would you like to say something here?

Alfred:
Well I think there's a lot of different things that we have when we're born. Some of them are specific skill sets that have to do with our dharma. Such as if you desire to be a musician, you just were able to pick up a guitar and play it, or were able to just play the piano without lessons. That's part of the magic that follows you into this lifetime are the things that come natural to you are pretty much in tune with that which you wanted to experience - your dharma, your path in life. And I think that's a huge part of the magic that you were born with, that comes with you, that's inside of you.

Hans:
Yes. We are all born with our own little bag of goodies. And remember that we are all unique to our own magic. Others may look like they're walking the same path but they're not. Their path is slightly different than your path which is slightly different than someone else's path. We're all going in the same direction, we're just in different cars. So recognizing that there is a magic about you that you can literally make anything you wish come true... Now, mind you, sometimes it happens right away, sometimes it takes a little while. But if you set your intention, and know and believe like the magician does, absolutely you will see this dream come true. It doesn't matter. And no negative karma can ever stop your bag of tricks from helping you create your life. Never. So when you say to yourself: Ah, I would like the experience of doing this or doing that...whatever it is. I wonder what I have in my bag of tricks to make this come true? And the very first thing  you pull out of your bag is "I believe". When you say "I believe", it reinforces the intention. Then, with the "I believe", you trust in the reality of it. So all of these little goodies are in your bag. Now here's the wonderful thing...I keep bringing this up because I think it's important because I have a lot of people who say to me: Can I change my mind or am I stuck in what I originally started to create? You may change your mind at any time. However children, always remember that there is a "time" element. Now what do I mean by that? When you set your intention and you pull out your goodies from the bag to make it happen. And then you say: You know what this is not going the way I wanted it to, I don't think this is what I wanted to do, but I think what I would like to do is thus. Spirit then has to pull the energy back from what you were creating with your bag of magic, put the tricks back in the bag, and then they have to clear the space and then they say: Okay, where to from here? So don't think that you can be going on one path and shift in the middle of it and immediately it will change, because it won't. It takes just a little time. What is time? It is irrelevant to Spirit. Whenever the energy redesigns itself. It can be a matter of an hour, a day, it can be two weeks. However, knowing that it is changing to the new intention is the key. So “belief”  and “trust” and “knowing” are three of the ingredients in your bag of tricks. Having those... You're dreaming...I want you to think about dreaming. Dreaming and wishing and hoping and all of those things are all part of the magic of your life. You can literally be sitting in your chair in your living room and project yourself into that pretty house that you saw down the block. Just literally project yourself right into it. And you can say something like this: I know and I believe that some day I will have the experience of living in a house like that. So you take one of your tricks "I believe", you take "faith", you take "knowing", you take "trust", and you point them in that direction. Somewhere along your path, if it is meant to be, and most of our dreams are, that will come to pass. I have probably a thousand clients through the years who have said to me: I dreamed it when I was a child. I knew it and I believed it and here it is. How do we know this? Once again because energy follows thought. So your bag of tricks is very, very powerful. You always hear me say: Be careful what you pray for. Because you are entitled to operate with your bag of tricks in creating your life. And no dharma is ever so destined that it would ruin your ability to create with your bag of tricks - ever. So inside of each and every one of us is a little magician waiting to pop out. And the energy for that magician is "faith" and "belief", "knowing"...no doubting. Have you ever noticed that people on this show will say: Do you think I'll get this job? What have they actually done kids? They've actually said: I'm not certain I'm going to get this job. So they've added a negative thought to a positive wish. And they cancel each other out. And if you cancel out the intention for your own dream, then nobody else can dream it for you.

Alfred:
That's a really good point Hans is a lot of us know the very unique gifts that we were born with. I'll go back to say, the guitar player that he "knows" he's a gifted musician. That he was born with the skills to be a musician. But does he doubt  that that's what he's supposed to do? Or does he say? I “trust” this is what I'm supposed to do and “believe” that the universe will provide him enough opportunity to bring what he does, play his music to the world, and he can earn enough money to keep a roof over his head. And that's what we're talking about. Is what you've requested to do with your dharma is not only the magic that's inside of you, it's what the universe has been requested to support you in. So if you're a musician and you decide to become a banker, you're going to be wondering why you keep getting fired and having fights...

Hans:
That's right.

Alfred:
However if you do trust the universe that you are supposed to be a musician and not follow what everybody else does, then you truly believe that they will support you in that. Those are the miracles that we're talking about.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
That following what's inside of you and trusting that the universe will provide the miracles needed for you to follow your dharma is what Hans is talking about.

Hans:
Each and every one of you is your own magician. Each and every one of you have a facet of the Godforce within you that no other person has quite the same. You are "unique" with your bag of tricks. You were given all that you need...all that you need. Your job is to stand in the moment and say: I am and it is enough. No more striving to be better. No more striving to change your life. Just “know” it. Project it forward. Take your tricks out of your bag and say: I "know" that the perfect job for me, that feels the following way, is already on the way as I am writing, as I am speaking. Having no doubts. But your mind doesn't like your bag of tricks. And your mind will say: Oh, don't be silly. You know that doesn't work. Well yes, it works for other people but you're not good enough for it to work for you. I talked to a person yesterday, just having a conversation, and they said to me: I really wish I could do this or I really wish I could do that...I know that's not going to happen but boy I sure wish it would. Now what do you think their changes are of making that happen are? Two: slim and none. But the person who absolutely "knows"... My goodness kids how many people have we watched on TV or read about who came from abject poverty, no education, but had inside of them a little fire that says: I am somebody. I'm not the bottom to any pile. I am somebody and my God loves me and this is where I'm going. Didn't know how they were going to get there, that's irrelevant. That's the mind demanding to know "how" and "why" and “where” and "when". I remember a story that Alfred told me quite a few years ago in which he said he “knew” the kind of banking job that he wanted. He wanted to be an International Banker, he wanted to travel, he wanted to do all the things that they do. Nobody was offering him this job and the jobs they did offer him were not what he wanted. But he never lost his belief that that's what would happen to him one day. And out of nowhere one day, a year later I think he said it was, someone said: Well we need somebody to do this kind of a job. We need somebody to travel for us. We need someone to live overseas. And Alfred what did you say? I'm your man or something like that? (laughing)

Alfred:
I'm in. But it has to do with an internal knowing with what you're supposed to do with your life. You have two choices - do you ignore that internal knowing of what you're supposed to do because you think it's just some fantasy of hope dream or do you follow that dream. And that's what we're trying to tell you is that dream that you were born with, those innate skills that you just have, that inner knowing of what you're supposed to do with your life... You can ignore it or you can tie into that magic and tie into the magic of the support of the universe...

Hans:
Yes, and tie into your bag of tricks. Absolutely. So Alfred was there a place where you doubted you would get this kind of a job or did you always know it?

Alfred:
No, I just always knew it. And that's the funny part and that's what I try to teach some of my students is: If you don't know where the words are coming from, if you don't know why you say certain things, if you don't know why you desire certain things - that's where you're supposed to go. If you try to figure out life, if you try to understand life, if you "think yourself into something" , if you can give yourself 10 reasons why you should be doing something, be very afraid, because that's your mind trying to comprehend life. What we're talking about is the miracles in life. That which you don't understand, that which is innate, that which you were born with, that which is just part of you. If you follow "that", then you're going to have a pretty cool life.

Hans:

So again, your bag of tricks centers in your "belief". And Spirit and the Godforce doesn't believe in anyone more in the world than you. When you do, as Alfred was telling you, and you have this absolute innate knowing, you "know" it's true...you don't know how, you don't know where but you "know", you “know” that is going to happen for you because that is the experience that you have chosen. You get your bag of goodies out - trust, belief, faith, knowing - all the energy that is around you is then focused like a magnifying glass and eventually you can burn a hole through all the despair, all the no's, all the aggravations to a clear, new space. So having a quiet knowing, having a quiet understanding that it already is so, that it is already in the making because you have set the intention with trust and faith. You use all your little magic. And you know you never run out. The bag never runs out of tricks...ever. So the same bag of goodies that you arrived with is the same bag of goodies you'll take home with you. So you never run out of: Yes I am; Yes I can. Never. It's only when the mind chatter comes in and starts to tell us "why" something can't happen that we get ourself in trouble. That's why I asked Alfred was there ever a time that you "didn't believe" you would get it. And he said: No, I always knew it. And that folks is the key. So we have seen people come from terrible places, from wars, from concentration camps, limbs lost, families lost and take their life with their bag of tricks and turn it into something rather extraordinary...extraordinary. Because they "knew it", and they "believed it", and they worked and they did what Spirit sent for them to do. Okay? So, yes you are unique. No, no one else has a better bag of tricks than you do. You say: Well how come Joe Blow over there is worth $500,000,000 and I'm worth $500? You don't know what that soul's experience is about. You don't know that. But if you say: I know that I'm going to have more than enough as I do now, but a larger enough. Everything in your life begins to gravitate towards that. I have a client folks that you all know and he lost his fortune 4 times. Count them - 4 times. None of which were his fault. Each time he lost his fortune...some of those fortunes were $200,000,000, $300,000,000... Each time he simply sat down in a chair, got out his bag of magic tricks and within several years had recreated what had been lost. Because there was no place within him that said: I can't do this. There's no place inside of him that turned him into a victim. Oh, look what's been done to me. Didn't have time for that nonsense. Had a "knowing", had an understanding. So each one of you have the same bag, different ingredients, but they equal the same based on your dharma, based on your karma. No one's bag of tricks is greater than anyone else's bag of tricks. Okay? So such joy and hope follow "belief", "knowing", “accepting your divinity”, “accepting the Godforce within you”, “knowing that your God does not love anyone more than you”, knowing no matter how meaningless your life may seem - to a person who can't walk - you getting off your sofa and going for a walk after this show is a miracle beyond comprehension. For a person who can't see - to be able to see a hummingbird, as Alfred saw yesterday, just hanging out - is a miracle. You are a miracle to someone who is dying. The miracle of you is enormous and your bag of tricks never fails. It is always there. It is always there with you. Okay? Alfred I think that will conclude the lesson for today.

August 9, 2014

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to GUIDANCE FOR YOUR LIFE. This is Alfred, the Padawan to the Modern Day Mystic himself Hans Christian King. And we're coming to you live with a brand new topic for this show. Thank you very much for your patience over the last couple of weeks. We've been running around Mexico taking care of things. Now that things are taken care of, we're coming back at you. But before we get to our topic, which is "Why Is It So Hard To Be Loved?", first let's talk about some housekeeping. Of course we have on Facebook our "Random Acts of Kindness". It's not really a Contest, it's rewarding you for helping us help others. Basically, if you share any of Hans King's Quotes on Facebook we will randomly pick people to give Audio Lessons, Video Lessons and whatever prizes we just feel like giving out randomly. So please join Facebook if you haven't already - Hans Christian King1 - or  you can go to the front page of HansKing.com for our Facebook Page and “Share”. The more you “Share”, the more chances that we'll randomly pick you and just give out Free Stuff. And secondly we'll be posting a lot of Tele-seminar and Interview replays. Hans was recently on the John Burgos Show and I, myself was recently interviewed talking about Soul Mate Relationships. Those are going to be posted on Facebook when there's a replay. And Jennifer, can you you please tell everybody the dates of the replays are going to happen?

Jennifer:
I sure can Alfred. Hi everyone, it's great to be with you again. There's a lot going on this week.  I believe we have 4 Interviews that are happening. First up is the Interview Hans did on the Awakening Heart Network. That's replaying now through Monday, August 11th. This Interview is also on HansKing.com. If you look under "Free Recordings", you'll find it at the top of the page. On Wednesday, August 13th, Hans will appear on The Year of Miracles Tele-seminar. Also on Wednesday, August 13th, Alfred will be making an appearance on The Passion and Intimacy Tele-seminar. And on Thursday, August 14th, Hans' appearance with John Burgos on Beyond The Ordinary will be replayed. If you missed that one the first time, be sure and catch it this Thursday! Alfred, these will all be posted on Hans' Official Facebook Page so just in case I missed any, everyone please check back on Facebook for updates. Thanks and back to you Alfred.

Alfred:
Thanks Jennifer for letting us know when the replays are going to happen. And of course just randomly keep checking our Facebook Page to find out when we are going to be broadcasting Interviews. We do have 2 Facebook Pages. One of them is a "Follow" Facebook Page. We're no longer using that one. We're only using the "Like" Facebook Page. If you happen to wind up on the "Follow" Facebook Page. If you happen to wind up on the “Follow” Facebook Page it will say "We're No Longer Using This Page", please go to this particular Facebook Page. Because we're only making Announcements on One. So basically if you're at Hans King's Page and you have "Liked" Hans or you can "Like" us, that's the right place to be to get information about Announcements, Random Acts of Kindness, Interviews and all kinds of other kinds of fun stuff. And I think that's pretty much it for the Announcements, so without further ado, I'll present to you the Modern Day Mystic himself Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Boy, you were a bit wordy today. A lot of things to say. Hi everybody, welcome back. Yes, we've been running around getting a lot of stuff done and so happy to be back with you. Most people in my profession and people around the world take breaks in July and August and the first of September. We didn't mean to take this big of a break but we're glad to be back with you and hope everyone is having an absolute wonderful summer. It is hot, it is humid where we are with very little, if any rain which no one here seems to understand. Anyway, God is great and I'm sure it'll rain when it's supposed to. I had a call that I did the other day and on the call, a very nice woman out of New York said to me: Hansy, she said: Why is it so difficult to be loved? She said: I've never sort of allowed myself to be loved. And of course the answer comes back through the heart that says: Do I deserve to be loved? Why are they loving me more than I love myself? Or: Shouldn't my parents love me? Or: Shouldn't I be accepted unconditionally by my friends? Why is it so difficult to be loved? Dear people, at some point all of you had asked this question. Start with the "I am". "I am being loved." If you knew, each and every one of you, how much unconditional love you receive every single day, both in the waking hours and in the sleeping hours, you are surrounded by a pool of love, friends, helpers, people who are dedicated to your dharma. And so we like to say: You know, you couldn't be alone if you tried. You have so much love out there. You need to go to that mirror. Remember that mirror trick that I taught all of you some years ago? And I said: Go stand in front of the mirror and look in the eyes of the person looking back and you and say: I don't know who you are but I'm going to find out and when I do I'm going to take very good care of you and I love you very much. Try that. Try to first love yourself. Because the creation of you is singular. There is not another you anywhere in infinity. You are unique and you and your relationship with your god are unique. There isn't anyone God loves more than you - you're so unique. You have to find the uniqueness of yourself. You know you hear me say that everyday when I get up I go and look at a flower or lI ook at a tree or look at the clouds. And I am so full of love at that moment to just be able to be with the trees, with the flowers. Even if it's snowing, I'll say: Isn't this beautiful? Finding beauty in what you see, feel and touch and looking in the mirror and finding the beauty of your own soul... Allowing people to say: I love you. Allowing people to bring you a flower or someone to say: Thank you for helping me. I love you. I get, every single day of my life, I get emails that are signed this way: Thank you for all you do. I love you. Every day. And sometimes it's hard because in my profession you have a tendency not to be able to remember everybody that you see because we see so many people. But I think: Isn't it incredible that somebody took the time to say: Thank you, I love you. So I say to all of you: Thank you, I love you. Your mind chatter develops a program and I call it "conditionality". And it can prove to you why you're not good enough to be loved. How's that working for you Alfred?

Alfred:
It really is true that if you're looking for love to first love yourself. It is an unbelievably difficult task because normally the humanness of us wants to feel better by getting something. If you want to feel love, then you look for someone to give you love, you look for love by getting love. And what we're trying to tell you is: If you're looking for love, first go within. To love yourself. To be who you truly are. Of course do all the work that we've been talking about year after year. Do the inner work. But what we're talking about here specifically is: Love yourself. Trust your soul. Love your soul. Love who you truly are. Be that vibration of love. Know that you truly love yourself. Then when you go out looking for a soul mate partner that person will be attracted to the vibration of love that you are. If you haven't done this work, the inner work of loving yourself, imagine the vibration that you're giving off. Imagine the vibration that other people are picking up. Imagine the people that are being attracted to that vibration. So if you really want someone to love you truly, first start with truly loving yourself.

Hans:
I was talking with a friend today and during the conversation the friend was saying that their partner had gotten upset with them about something that hadn't been done and was hollering and screaming and being upset and they decided to use the old thing that we've taught them to do - which is at the moment, just love that person. Just go through, find the love inside your heart and love that person. And they said very shortly the whole thing was dissipated. Remember when I say to you: *You can't shine the light in the dark. The light will always  persevere...always. Learning to go to yourself every morning and say: I deserve to be loved today. First by myself, to be loved by who I am, even if I may not  know who I am, I am my best friend. No one will ever love me more than I do. Now let's stop right there. Think about what I said: No one will ever love you more than you should love yourself. And if that is happening to you, you are failing at the very game of life. You want someone who can see in you what you see in you and that's what when we call “someone being able to see you". To see that essence of that little angel in you. To fall in love with the person behind the eyes. That's why I have you go to the mirror and look in the mirror and talk to yourself, remind yourself you are your best friend. Remind yourself how much love that you have for you. Discover the wonder of "you". And when you do that it's like a magnet for other people and other situations. Pretty soon you begin to get things from others that say: Thank you for reminding me that I love you. And all people start to say little things to you and kindnesses start to come to you because people can feel that you have a kind heart, your essence is kind, your essence is love. Alfred says something that's key. If you're looking outside to be loved, you're failing at the game. That love comes when you identify the love that you have for you. It doesn't matter what others think of you. It doesn't matter what others say about you But it surely matters how you feel about you. And once you fully get that, once you fully understand that, your whole life will take on an entirely new direction. It's like accepting abundance for instance. You can't search for abundance, you won't find it. You have to become abundance. And when you become abundance, abundance becomes you. If you seek after love after love, you won't find it. But if you love you, it will find you. Remember your grandmother used to say to you: Never go looking for love. It finds you. Always. And the greatest gift you will ever give yourself is the wonder of your own human spirit. The love that God has for you. The love that Spirit sees in you. When I'm doing an appointment with somebody, I look past what I see, and all I can see is the little child inside of the person standing or sitting in front of me or on the phone or doing a Skype with me. I don't see who they're displaying. I see the essence of the Godforce in their heart. So that when Spirit looks at us, They have unconditional love. We teach you this year after year. Spirit looks at us, They have unconditional love. They don't see any flaw. Only we see a flaw in ourselves. Okay? Alfred?

Alfred:
And that's a lot to do with the inner work is when we stop being hard on ourself, when we stop picking on ourself, when we let go of our traumas, when we let go of those things that are haunting us, when we stop beating ourselves up and move over to "self love", "self unconditional love", just letting those things go which have haunted us for so many years... The true you, the essence of you, the soul of you, the Spirit in you will come out, will shine. You're uncovering that which you are. By doing the work, by letting "out" the loving soul, the loving being that you are and you let that shine, then all of a sudden the people that you wanted to attract to you will be without you having to look for them because then they can finally see who you truly are and be attracted to you.

Hans:
Thank you Alfred. Thank you. Sometimes we come from families that don't necessarily reinforce their love for us, or who may, for whatever reason, not have been loved when they were a child and find it difficult to love themselves, therefore love you. But if we operate ourselves out of a place of total love for all of them, realizing that everyone we meet is a product of the environment they were raised in. That they had set the agenda. They chose the parents for whatever agenda, whatever lessons they needed to learn. And we just see them as unconditional love. Even if they yell at us...no matter what happens. Of course friends, there are always going to be people who are not emotionally sound, or mentally well, who do great damage. And it's very hard to love those people. But if you operate to them without judgment and just send love - that's it - just love. We pulled down the Iron Wall across Europe. We pulled down that horrible wall in Berlin. We got rid of cruise missiles without firing a shot because it was the "right thing to do at the right time and love prevailed"...not armaments...love prevailed. So if you're feeling unloved, it comes from a very weak place in your own heart. The moment that starts to happen, the moment you start to feel alone, stop for a moment and say: Wait a minute. I'm my best friend. What am I talking about? I'm all I need. I am enough for me. And that's why I did the CD Series "You Are Enough". To help you to understand that all you need to do is see in you what God and Spirit see in you. That's it. Not what you're doing, not what you're wearing, but just looking in that mirror and knowing at that moment: Oh, my goodness I AM my best friend. And I love me and I know that my god sees in me all of my possibilities, all my potentials. No matter what your age, no matter what your profession. I have a thing that is concerning me an enormous amount. For those of you who are yelling, you'll probably raise your eyes, but we will see who is right in the end.  If we do not get cellphones out of our children's hands and our young people's hands, they are never going to experience true love and a life. It is not going to happen. I know people who can't get in a car without watching their cellphone. I watch people who can't eat meals in restaurants, who can't go to movies, who cannot do anything where they shut off their cellphone. Nothing. I watched a young man here in Mexico the other day during an entire movie he never brought his eyes up from his little smart-phone of some kind - never. He never saw the movie. I see people on buses, I see people in department stores, walking the streets, with their eyes glued and what is happening is they are becoming this new electronic age that impersonalizes all of us. I saw a very, very nicely dressed man and a woman, in the 50's the other day at a restaurant in Asheville in North Carolina. They came in, they sat down, they brought the menus over, they picked up their smart-phones. The waiter came back 3 times and finally they ordered. They looked at their cellphones or whatever, smart-phones. They looked at them during their entire meal. They never spoke a word to each other. That's concerning me. And if you find yourself doing that - you're running away from who you are. It's an escape mechanism. Love yourself enough please to not do that. Alfred's is currently raising his eyes over here because he knows how I feel about this. Alfred, what do you think about this?

Alfred:
It's a really tough one and I've boiled it down to "how much time do you take for yourself" verses "how much time do you take for others". Spiritually speaking it really doesn't sound like the best thing, but you really first need to take time for "you". One of the exercises that we go over in Intuitive Development and even when I teach Automatic Writing and Advanced Channeling, is you have to let go of everything in order to get in touch in the vibration of nature, in order to get in touch with the vibration of who you truly are - the vibration of Spirit. Being on these electronic devices - I can pretty much guarantee you that's pretty much not the vibration that's going through your body. Okay? If you're looking for love, if you're looking for self-love, you have to make sure you take time for you to vibrate as you, to vibrate as a soul, to vibrate as love and as I have found out and many people in my situation who are in IT or anybody who just has a smart-phone, that's not the vibration of those little gadgets, that's not the vibration of working with technology. So just try to carve out "you" time. Time to go feed the ducks, time to walk in nature, time to go look at flowers. You're talking to somebody who could not understand flowers 2 years ago, could not understand nature a few years ago. And if it wasn't for the Great Mystic himself, I probably wouldn't...

Hans:
The Great Poobah to you.

Alfred:
Yes, the Poobah. Is that your new name Hans? The Poobah?

Hans:
I had that a couple of years ago.

Alfred:
The Grand Poobah.

Hans:
The Great Grand Poobah, yes.

Alfred:
So talking from someone who's experienced life in the extreme of technology... Yes, it's great it'll help promote your career. Yes, it's great to keep in touch with people. But you are in control and that is not spiritual. Spiritual is letting go. Spiritual is about connecting to the vibration of Spirit. And that's what we're trying to say here is if you're trying to find love in your life, first let go of all of those things, surrender all of those things, stop looking outward and look inward and connect to the vibration of love “within you” first.

Hans:

Thank you Alfred. I said to a friend of mine this morning: What would happen to you and I took this cellphone, this smart-phone, away from you right now and turned it off? And you could see in his face absolute concern. Because this person's on vacation, alright? And I said: And I turned it off for 3 hours. And he said: Well what if somebody wants to get in touch with me and what if this... I said: That's not the issue.  I asked you what you would do if I took this away for 3 hours. And so that person had no place in the person they've become for that reality. No place to go to the beach without taking the cellphone...I guess it's called a smart-phone. No place to do anything in their life without it. Date applications, Taxi applications, Grocery applications... And what I'm going to say to all of you and I want you to all remember this: Operating on the smart-phones is opposite of being a spiritual being, period. Period. First comes “the you” and what you give and do for “you”. That's what Alfred was talking about. Then what you do is another matter entirely. How you operate the rest of your life is completely different. But if you're unable to shut off your smart-hone, if you're unable to back away from you computer, if you find yourself taking your smart-phone to dinner, operating it in the car, then children you are losing the essence of your own spiritual development. That is not loving yourself. That's hiding from yourself. So for all of you who want to practice spiritual development, do so in a way that you provide a peaceful, loving space to love yourself. And I watched Alfred struggle with this. To this day I watch him struggle with taking the cellphone to a restaurant...the smart-phone. There is something being built into our children that said it is the appendage of you. No it's not. It's a device manufactured by people to control the minds of people. I realize I'm getting old but eventually people will see this. Alrighty Alfred, I think that concludes the lesson for today.
