Topic: Nothing is Wrong
October 3, 2015

HANS:
Hi everyone, welcome.  Today’s topic is, “Nothing Is Wrong.” In our daily life we need to view things in certain perspectives in order for us to feel that everything is okay, we’re in good shape. We need for people to say certain things, we need to hear our boss say certain things, we need constantly to be reassured that everything’s okay, everything’s alright. Right now we’re going through this terrible loss again at a another school, this is the forty-second school that this has happened to, and so our minds right away are rushing to try to comprehend the madness that’s involved with why our children kill our children. We all know why. All you have to do is turn on television or go to the movies. That’s where they’re getting all this “violence is okay.”

Alfred and I sat the other night and we watched little blurbs from all the new TV shows. Every one of them was violence. Every one we looked at had violence in it - I mean murders - everyone of them. Then we wonder why our children - where this is coming from. We know the answers but we don’t want to bring them into ourself, so that we make ourself responsible for any of this. You see?

So, when I say to you, what makes you think anything is wrong, the mind has a place inside of it that it needs to understand why this is going on. So, what I’m saying to you is, when you go to work everyday, there’s a need you have for the boss, maybe the owner, to live up to some emotional expectation you may have. If that doesn’t happen in that time frame that you have set, something’s wrong. You have a need for your partner to say a certain thing or be a certain way, when they maybe would have said, “Do you need that?” Something’s wrong. And so learning, one of the hardest things I ever tried to teach our boy here, was that nothing was wrong. And he looked at me like I’d lost my mind.

ALFRED:
When we bring this topic up in class, which we do a lot of times, especially during the Intuitive Development Class, immediately people come up with child abuse, the Holocaust. They bring up the worst things that could have ever possibly be, and we have to sit there and say, “What makes you think anything is really wrong?” And there’s a lot of different ways for you to look at it, one of them being - is there really death? If the absolute worse things happen, mass suicides, mass killings, the school killings, the Holocaust, is there anything wrong? Did those people die? Or did the physical aspect just fade away and the soul just return to the other side to come back down for another incarnation later on. That’s what we try to describe to you, is by changing your perception of the way you look at things, instead of having a judgment of the way you’re looking at murder, the school shootings, change your perception to say - this is nothing more than a vehicle.

When you get into an accident, yes, you’re a little bit shaken up, but what do you do? You go get another car. The insurance company pays for it, or you get a rental car and you use that for a little while and then you get into another car and then off you go. Yes, there’s a little bit of emotion when you lose one car and pick up another one but is it really like that, Hans?

HANS:
Alfred, as humans, we forget one specific thing. The greatest gift that the Universe gives us, that God first gives us, you’ve heard me say this for years, is free will. It is man’s free will that is creating the disasters, the murders, the inhumanity to our fellow man, not feeding our hungry. It is our own choice, maybe not yours, but somebody else’s. It’s a bunch of free will choices that are hurting the world.

We now, this beautiful country of ours, with our beautiful people, have now become the most violent nation in the western world. I saw on television today that over the last ten years, three hundred and eighty-three Americans have been killed by terrorists overseas. That’s terrible. But three hundred thousand have been killed inside the United States, by our own people who are acting like terrorists.

I just saw a lady and her husband in Tokyo and their daughter wanted to go to Columbia University in New York, and they didn’t want her to go, they said, "No.It’s too violent there, you don’t want to go there, you’ll get hurt." The daughter wanted to go, to be with her friends, and anyway she went and on her first day she was shot dead in the street. Is that a coincidence? Is that something that was supposed to happen? No. So when we say to you, what makes you think anything is wrong? You’re not reacting to a global situation, you’re reacting to a human situation. The human situation in our country has grown more and more angry, more and more fearful, and so out of that anger and out of that fear - why didn’t God stop World War I, and World War II, and the Korean War, and the Vietnamese War? God had nothing to do with those wars. Nothing.

ALFRED:
And that’s exactly it. If you try to look at the situation from a human perspective, if you try to understand it, if you try to rationalize it – yes, you’re going to get frustrated, there’s going to be blame, there’s going to be stress, there’s going to be anger, but for those of a spiritual perspective, there is the law of free will, and that is the fundamental foundation of incarnation on this planet  - is that this planet allows for all experiences, all choices. You can choose to be happy. You can choose to be kind. You can choose to be mean. Now, could there ever be possibly be something good that comes out of violence, mass murder - yes. Is there something positive that could come out of poverty? Yes. What? An uprising of enlightenment, good, sharing, that there are people, for example Britain and the UK rose up against the evil that happened in World War II, there was an uprising of good. With poverty there is an uprising of super billionaires who are now funding money to end poverty.

There is the possibility to interact and experience anything you want on this earth and that is by design by the Creator that everyone has free will to experience whatever they want, however they want… and everyone knows that before they come here.

HANS:
Absolutely. One of the things They say to us on our way in is, "Remember you have free will over everything. Yes, you have a dharma that speaks to learning this particular thing. Be nice to each other, be kind." Instead, when we come in right away our minds are filled with all the fears of our parents, all the fears of society. We see things on television - I saw the other day that on average, a child sees a little more than fifty-eight murders a week. Every week. On the television - with a handgun. Fifty-eight. That’s appalling. We now have a hand gun for every man, woman and child in the United States of America. No nation on earth has that many firearms.

When I was a young man, you went to the police station and you got a gun permit. Then, when you got your permit, you went to the gun place and you bought the gun and you registered the gun. Not anymore. So, when we start getting upset about our sense of the lack of free will, which is what we all feel. We feel helpless. The reason we feel helpless is because we don’t do anything to change it. We keep succumbing.

ALFRED:
Exactly. And that is the first lesson we are telling you about. You can fall into the fear, you can fall into why is this happening? You can get upset, or you can say, “I dedicate my life, I dedicate part of my time to being peaceful,” and go within being peaceful and realize that nothing can affect
who you are. You always have the choice to be happy. Second, there was the possibility of finally the people having a greater say than the gun lobby. There is finally a possibility that the word of the people is going to overcome the NRA. That is the good that can possibly come from this.

HANS:
The other side on the gun issue says, oh the second amendment - nobody is talking about taking your guns away. That is never going to happen in this country. It is part of our Constitution. What we are talking about is being responsible for the guns we sell people. That’s what we’re talking about. If the other half of the country rose up and said in a strong and forceful voice, “No. You cannot do this anymore. Let’s open a dialogue.” If that force was as loud as the force on the right that has risen up - millions and millions of dollars that have been spent to keep gun laws the way they are - then you would see change. The free will of people, but until you take a stand, until you say no I am not willing to take this anymore.

Until you change your perception and realize, “Oh, there is nothing wrong here. I’m just not acting on it.” We have tremendous laws on guns in this country, but none of them are used.

So what I want you to do is to use what I’m talking about today in several ways. How are you viewing your life? How are you viewing the conditions of your life? Alfred, I talked to a lady a couple of days ago, and she said she had the most miserable life she ever could have imagined. She said her life turned out exactly as she thought it was. She said, “I’m miserable, nobody loves me, I have a terrible job, I hardly have any money in the bank, nobody wants to be my friend.” I said, “When did you start doing this to yourself?” She went totally crazy on the phone. Totally crazy! “Why am I talking to you?” I said, “Because you need to put in a new perspective, that’s why.” She believed that everything was wrong. She became a victim of that, and she started to look at when the next shoe’s going to drop, when’s the next bad thing going to happen? Can any of you relate to that?

ALFRED:
Absolutely. And that leads up to our second topic for today, which has to do with looking at nothing is wrong by changing your perception and changing your judgment of the way that things are. What makes you think you have the ability to understand, to judge, to have an opinion of the way things are, to judge universal law, to judge God for allowing these things to happen?

HANS:
God didn’t do that to you.

ALFRED:
No. But imagine if by design, God allowed for all experiences. That we knew about World War I, World War II. We knew about the Crusades, we knew about the British coming over and taking over America, we knew about the Spanish taking over South America, before you incarnated and you said, “That’s okay, I’m going to come down there.” It was a choice, of course you don’t remember this.

HANS:
The greatest gift God gives us always, is free will. Nothing is more important.

ALFRED:
And to look at what is happening through that perception, to say, “No - I knew in advance that this was the type of world that I was going to come down into.” Instead of having a judgment of what is wrong, and judging; having the opinion that something’s wrong - look at it the way you did when you decided to come down which is: I have the judgment that I want to live my life in this incarnation and look at the good I can do for myself, look at the good I can do for my soul, look at the possibilities of being of service, because there are so many opportunities to be of service.

HANS:
Go back even further than that. As mankind has evolved, God never produced anything called war. Great Spirit never produced anything called murder. Never produced anything called starvation. Mankind did that, and God always gets blamed if something goes wrong. And gets the credit when something goes right. We as a nation of people, are slowly imploding. Our current system is imploding. We are no longer even governable. We are the laughing stock of the western world. Travel overseas and see what they think about the craziness. Donald Trump for president?! Really? That’s the best we can come up with?

We need to sit back, all of us, in our personal life and say, “I choose no longer perceive my life as a loss.” Remember my friend Alexandra I’ve told you about all these years - whenever anything would go awry in her life, her first statement out of her lips was, “I wonder what’s in this for me today, what can I learn from this today?”

ALFRED:
And that’s what we mean about looking at your judgment, looking at your perception of the situation, of the news, of what’s going on. What is there for you? Is it - oh look at this world that I live in, or is it - look there’s a lot of opportunities to serve. Is it - oh I blame God for this or no - there’s just some lost souls out there and I choose to be a soul that’s of service to others. I choose to be a soul that is happy. What is your perception, what is your opinion, your judgment, the way you view what is going on in the world and your role in the world?

HANS:
Exactly. You can have the peace in your life at any time by allowing your perception to shift that there is peace. You can literally make a decision today that says my life is of value, I don’t particularly care the way it’s going right now, but I set that in motion. I’m not a victim of my circumstances any longer. I choose to know there’s nothing wrong, and that all I’m asking Spirit for is to help me change my intention. Because out of intention comes clarity. Always.

Did we get it?

ALFRED:
Yes. That was a tough subject.

HANS:
It is a tough subject because, it is inbred in us through society, good and evil, light and dark, right and wrong, poor and rich, always this dichotomy of perceptual truth. Truth is, I am. Truth is, nothing is wrong.

I had a dear friend Rita, who used to say to her students, “Over your head every day Spirit provides a tremendous amount of cookie dough. Just floating in the clouds, the cookie dough. Every day God gives you all the cookie cutters you could possibly use for your own imagination and your own heart, and it’s up to you to find one you think looks good and bring it down and put it on the tray and Spirit will bake that cookie for you.” Because she believed. Belief is the oven of joy.

ALFRED:
Those are the two different ways you can look at life. You can look at your life - look at all the things that are bad around me or you can follow the wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi that says be the change you wish to see in the world.

HANS:
Change your internal mechanism. Don’t say, “I want to buy a house in Acapulco,” say, “I’m going to buy a house in Acapulco.” Don’t say, “Gee I wish I could learn to fly,” say, “Well I’m already a pilot I just need my license.” Move yourself out of your minds perception that there’s something blocking you, that there’s something wrong, move it out. I woke up today, my feet hit the ground. I have choices. I can choose to be happy, or I can choose to be miserable. Mind chatter will immediately go back to your family or your problems or you history Alfred, and start pulling that junk up once again as if any of it is real! In all those memories that you have of your younger days - they’re gone. The reality of it is nobody gives a darn, nobody knows the pain that you’re in, nobody cares that you’re in the pain. They’ll say, “Get over yourself.” Everything you want is in front of you. That’s just a memory. Would you run a race with a ten foot ball put to your foot? No. Get rid of the ball. it’s called perception.

Alrighty Alfred, I think that will conclude the lesson for today.

Topic: Let Go and Let God
September 5, 2015

HANS:
Hello everyone and welcome to our Show. Today we're going to be talking about “Let Go and Let God.” What does “Let Go and Let God” mean? Let Go and Let God means that probably the way you're handling a situation doesn't work. You're not getting to where you need to be, things are not going the way you would like them to go.

And there's and old saying that says: If it ain't broke don't fix it. But you don't know that it's broken. That's the problem. You just keep trying to fix it. Over and over and over again, you keep trying to fix it. But it doesn't work. It's like fishing for a particular kind of fish in a certain stream where the fish doesn't live.

You're determined to make certain you can catch that fish in that stream. So when we say let go, how do we mean that? What is that when we say let go? Let go means no longer trying to force something to work the way you want it to work. But instead turn to God and say: I've done all I can do with this issue. I really can't do anymore. I'm going to let go and trust that you will take this issue for me and do that which is best for me, to my highest good.

This lesson has been very difficult in the 50 years that I've been teaching to get people to understand that they have a resource in God. They have a resource in Spirit. And they too can open that door. Let go and watch the miracles that happen when you Let go. My young Padawan is with me today and I'm going to call on him throughout the Shows to bring his perspective, his point of view across. Alfred, how have you done with letting go and letting God?

ALFRED:
It was an incredibly difficult lesson. Because we're taught that if you want to succeed, if you want to get ahead, you have to control the outcome. You need to get the outcome the way that you want. There's an advertisement that says - You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate. So much of Western Culture tells you you need to be in control.

And one of the basic teachings that I've learned from Hans is that by being in control, yeah sure, you'll get what you understand... you'll get what your humanness, by yourself, understands. And what I've learned from Hans is by letting go of control of the outcome, by letting go of the way it needs to look, then you open yourself up to possibilities that your humanness, your poor little brain, could never understand. You open yourself up to the possibilities of the Universe.

HANS:
And remember that we are Angels in human form. We are not a human form with an Angel attachment. We are actually Spirit in human form. But because we are in human form we are susceptible to human frailties. We all know what that looks like. I knew what that looked like yesterday morning, for instance.

So we all have to, I like to say, laugh at our mind chatter. Have you ever noticed, Alfred, that mind chatter never really tells you anything good about yourself? It always reminds you of what you're not, what you can't do, you're not good enough, you're not pretty enough, you're not thin enough? But it rarely ever says: You know, you're just wonderful the way you are and I love you.

ALFRED:
And that's the easiest way to understand if what is coming to you, what you're hearing is coming from your mind, your limited humanness or if it's coming from the Universe. If it's nagging you telling you what's wrong, what could be better, what you need to have, it's pretty much coming from your brain. If it is coming at you by saying: Everything's okay, we have you, trust us, there's nothing you need, just be peaceful... that's the Universe talking to you.

HANS:
Right. And remember the mind chatter is a product of your history. It really isn't telling you anything true. It's very concerned about what “might” happen. Not what actually “is” happening. But its perception is if it doesn't know it, it's out of control. And if it's out of control, something could happen.

So when you are trying to develop your spirituality and find your oneness with God and bring your Angels and Guides to work with you and to open your life to “all” that you can be, this becomes a direct threat to the mind. Because the mind feels it's out of control.

So you have the head-mind and the heart-mind. And the heart-mind will always tell you everything will be alright. The heart will tell you: Don't worry, we'll get through this. But the mind will turn and say: But how? How are we going to get through this? The rent is due, the car payment is due, you may lose your job or you've lost your job and you may never get another one. That's old mind chatter.

ALFRED:
Oh, I've got a good one. Relationships.

HANS:
We're going to be doing a lot about Relationships in these shows.

ALFRED:
That is absolutely one of our most asked about topics and probably one of the most relevant topics in terms of Let Go and Let God. And it probably is one of the most personal topics. There's so many people that are close to us that have a choice in their relationships... to get a relationship... to determine if they should stay in the relationship... is to Let Go and Let God. And that's really what you're talking about. You can drive yourself absolutely crazy trying to figure it out on your own.

HANS:
I think we try to take individuals and make them into what we'd like them to be. Rather than say just who they are in their uniqueness and their individuality is perfect for me.

ALFRED:
How about this one? Say you want a relationship. Let's take that one for an example. That one's going to hit close to home here. Huh,  Hans?

HANS:
Oh, yes.

ALFRED:
And let's say you'd like a relationship. You've got two ways to go about it. And that's what we're trying to talk about right here. You have the choice of doing things the way that you understand them which is: Okay, let me go through my list... and let me try to figure it out... and I'm in control... and it's up to me to find somebody... “or” you can work with the Universe to find you a Soul Mate.

HANS:
Yes.

ALFRED:
And surrender control, surrender the outcome. How does that sit with you Hans?

HANS:
Well, it sits very well because when we try to control how a relationship will enter our life we normally fail. Because the greatest relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. You cannot be in an all trusting, all loving relationship, unless you love yourself. Because you have no one to give if you don't know who you are.

We try to hold on to relationships, for instance, that don't work anymore. And most people don't realize that there's something called Soul Crossing. And in Soul Crossing we come across someone who we have agreed to come across in this lifetime by our dharma, our karma, if you will, to work through some issues... to be mirrors, growth partners for each other. But we're actually headed in a different direction.

And so these relationships come into our lives and we think: Oh, this is it, I've got it. And they fall apart. So when you let go of your “need” to have a relationship, you're saying to God: I am available for that certain someone who can see me as I see me... and I have no judgments of me... and I love me.

Then The Spirit... The Great Spirit begins to unlock the doors that bring that someone to you. But sometimes those someones come in for 1 day, 10 years, or 50 years. It depends on what the dharma is. But if you live each day and surrender to letting go and letting God, the relationship will go exactly where it's supposed to be.

But your mind chatter tells you: In order to be whole, in order to be someone, you need a relationship. And nothing can be further from the truth. And people, no matter how pretty it sounds - You complete me - nothing could be further from the truth. You are not made half whole. God did not send half-baked cookies to this planet. You were whole and complete when you arrived. You were perfect... absolutely perfect.

You had a dharma, which is a map of what you chose to work through. Some lessons you wanted to learn. Certain people on The Other Side came with you to help you to learn those. Those are our Spirit Families, our Light Groups. And many of you have worked with the same people for many, many centuries in different forms one way or the other.

But letting go and letting God means that you no longer place a value in what other people look like... what other people think... what other people tell you you are. We have a saying that says: Not my problem. Why don't you explain that teaching that we give?

ALFRED:
The way I like to talk about it is how much do you understand about why you're here? Your own individual life path? Your own individual karma? But, you're by yourself every single day... you're with yourself every single day.

If you yourself do not completely understand your individual life path, your purpose in life, what lessons you have to work through... how can anybody else judge you? How can anybody else have an opinion of you? Which means how can you possibly care about what someone else says about you?

HANS:
One of the things that I taught Alfred was a wonderful saying from Dr. Terry Cole-Whittaker in which she said: What someone thinks of you is really none of your business. But what you think of what they think of you should be very much your concern. And he puzzled and pondered that. But I think you get that now don't you Alfred?

ALFRED:
Yes. But say you want a good relationship. You basically have two options. One, with your limited brain, try to figure it out yourself or to let go of the outcome. Let go of what other people think. Let go of what you think. And let the Universe provide you with the outcome.

HANS:
We're going to, throughout our many Shows to come, be discussing different forms of relationships, different forms of spiritual principles and teachings. So you will not all get it this evening, all the new people. But as we go along, you'll begin to see the pattern that frees you from the sense of being in what I refer to as "The Void."

And for many of you who don't know what The Void is, and I know all our Members do know because they've been with us for awhile, but The Void is a time in life where you may have a sense that there's more going from you or leaving you than coming towards you. You have a sense of uneasiness... a sense of not belonging. It is a time between two cycles of energy.

And it is a time when Spirit does remove from us things that don't offer us growth anymore. It can be a very off-putting time, as my English friends would say. In that, if you don't know it, it appears as fearful. You just see things leaving and nothing's filling them. And that's why I nicknamed it The Void. What I love about The Void is that it is a harbinger or the announcer of a new beginning.

Let's try it another way. When you were all in school your teacher, he or she, always had a big chalkboard behind them and they wrote the lesson and taught the lesson on the board. But at a certain point all the lesson had been written all over the board, even in the margins, and there was no place left to start the new lesson. And the teacher would then begin to erase the chalkboard, or one of the students did.

I was one of the students who got to erase the chalkboard. And you could hear people saying: No, no I'm not finished... I still haven't written this! And the teacher or the student erased the chalkboard anyway. And it was empty. Well, what do you do then?

Then the Spirit hands you new chalks to begin the new journey. And on the blank board you can write anything you want. On the blank board is all the possibilities of tomorrow. Not on the board that's been written on. That's done. It's the new board, the clean board, the board with nothing on it.

That's exactly the same principle that Spirit uses when we let go and we let God. They “know” when our chalkboard is full. And They know when it's time to let go. And you're encouraged to let go. But we hang on. We hang on to things over and over again... pretending that we're going to make them work when they won't. Okay?

By having faith that Spirit has heard you, and heard your request, is the key to letting go. Believe. Let Go and Let God. They know exactly what's supposed to be on your chalkboard. Know and believe that an outcome is already on the way... even though, my friends, you can't see it, you can't hear it... “know” it. Try to always have no judgment or opinion of when a solution is presented. Because that's your interference - the mind chatter.

The mind chatter desperately wants to know when and how and where and why. These are irrelevant questions. They have no bearing in spirituality. They have no bearing in the Godforce. That is human need. Nothing more, nothing less. Keep the mind chatter at bay and watch the miracles arrive. Alfred, how did you find the courage to have faith... to let go? Where did it come from?

ALFRED:
One of the most interesting things that you told me a long time ago and I think this is probably a good introduction to a lot of our people who are listening for the first time is “just try this.” Just try it. These things that we're teaching. Just try to incorporate them into your life and see how it goes. Because the absolute worse thing that's going to happen to you is you can go back to doing the thing that you know how to do.

HANS:
Right.

ALFRED:
You can be in control. You can do what you know. And when Hans first introduced me to these spiritual topics he said: Well, you can continue to argue and you can continue to tell me why they're not going to work “or” you can just try it.

Try it for a month, try it for 2 months, but try it. And if for some reason you don't like it, you can go back to the way that you were because apparently you seem to understand the way that that works very well... regardless of whether it works well or not. But you understand how that works.

HANS:
Well, it's yours.

ALFRED:
Yes, it's yours. You understand it and you're in control.

HANS:
There you go.

ALFRED:
So when Hans first told me about these teachings of course I had some choice words for him about...

HANS:
And folks you should've heard the words.

ALFRED:
And he said: Fine, just try it. And that was the first introduction to all of this. I didn't have much faith. I said: Fine, I'm just gonna try it. But after a little while I said: Hhhmmm... this stuff seems to work. And after you see it work over and over and over again, you just try a little thing here, a little thing there.

Like the lessons that Hans is trying to go over: How to Let Go - How to Let God. Then all of a sudden you start having faith and trust in the Universe that Spirit actually does have your back if you let go of the control.

HANS:
And the miracles show up don't they?

ALFRED:
Yes, and the miracles show up. And that's how I started having faith, is by actually working the lessons that Hans is teaching and saying: Wow, that actually happened.

HANS:
He was right.

ALFRED:
He was right. Unfortunately 99.9% of the time Hans is right.

HANS:
Well the Guidance is right.

ALFRED:
Guidance is right.

HANS:
I'm just the mouthpiece.

ALFRED:
We'll go into Hans being a Medium later. But that's how I got faith was seeing the results time and time again and saying: Wow, if I just let go, I could actually have faith that what's going to show up is for my highest good.

HANS:
And that's the key folks... is when you understand that God does not love anyone more in the world than you. Hear that again, children: God does not love anyone more in the world than you. Once you understand that concept, that the Godforce flows through you every day, your Angels, your Guides, your Helpers, your Friends, stand at the ready to help you.

And that you can learn how to bring that love, that light, and that power into your life. Once you get it, it never leaves you. That's when your life begins to change. This is the primary reason that we do this Show. I've been working for over 56 years and helping individuals to understand how wonderful they are to God. That their God has no judgment of them and they can partner with the Force.

One thing we bring into our Show, we attempt to bring in, we're a little serious today, but we love humor. Learning to laugh at yourself and learning to love yourself as God does. Because you know when The Spirit and when The Great Spirit looks at us, all they see is the baby Angels we are. They don't see our age, or our color, or what we're wearing, they just see the Angel that we actually all are.

All the rest of that "stuff" is "human stuff." Alfred arrived for his teachings with so much human stuff it was mind boggling. Alfred was an International Banker. And when I told him, many years ago, that someday he'd be doing this work, writing books and teaching classes, he just looked at me and he said: I'd like to have some of whatever you're smoking.

ALFRED:
Yes. That was the beginning of the choice words I had for Hans.

[Hans laughing in the background]

HANS:
And folks, it was not the easiest of things. I probably aged a lot during the first 5 years... but it's all worked out and I'm grateful.

ALFRED:
So if you want to know about a control freak, just ask. So for those of you who are control freaks...

HANS:
And you know who you are.

ALFRED:
Yes. I understand. This is another option. To say: Okay, if being a control freak is stressing you out and you're miserable, try this.

HANS:
And that's the key everybody. Is find the humor in your control issues. Watch yourself. Try to remove yourself slightly. And watch how your mind reacts to certain key words... or certain key people. And you'll find out what Spirit sees in you every day. Oh, my goodness there she goes again. Turn on Channel 13 she's on.

Listen to this mind chatter. Do you ever really sit back and listen to your crazies? And they run, and they run, and they wake you up at night. None of it is true. Not a thing of it is true. We have a perception that we have allowed ourselves to build and when things don't fit that perception we think something's wrong.

Years ago I was blessed... I was in Thailand and I was up north at a very spiritual old capital called a Utica. And I met this Monk... this Buddhist Monk. And we were talking about things and he said to me: What makes you think anything is wrong? And I had a litany of things to prove my point of view. And he said: No, that's your mind chatter. I said: But, are you saying that there's absolutely nothing wrong?

And he said: No, it's how you view it. It is your perception... and perception governs you in the Western World. For you, it's always more, or it's not enough, or it can't work, or it doesn't work. But there's no such statement as “enough”.

And for each and every one of you, remember that who you are in this moment, no matter whether you're driving your car tonight or today I guess it is... no matter what you're doing at this moment, you are enough for God.

Alrighty my friends, so the lesson today has been about "Let Go and Let God." For many of you this will be an old concept that you understand. But for a whole bunch of new people that are joining us today, this will be a new concept. And yes you have the power to change your life. Nobody has control over you.

And in Dr. James Allen's wonderful book "As a Man Thinketh" he said: It is important to remember that they themselves are makers of themselves. And we'll be reviewing these things and the lessons will be different each week.

I think that will conclude the lesson for today.

Topic: Fear and Doubt Can Only Live in the House You Build - Rebroadcast
April 26, 2015

Today’s show is a compilation of an excerpt “You Are Already Okay” from Hans' CD “Stop Searching and Start Living,” plus a classic radio show replay of “Fear and Doubt Can Only Live in the House You Build.”

Part 1 of 2 – excerpt “You Are Already Okay” from Hans' CD “Stop Searching and Start Living”

HANS:
When you are having an experience where you are needing someone to validate you, or a situation, or a circumstance to validate you, to make you feel okay... Remember something: You already are okay. This experience has nothing to do with you. “What someone thinks of you is none of your concern. What you think of what they think of you is, in fact, very much your concern”. So the process is about, once again, turning to that fear, that need, that sense of vulnerability, and saying to that inner child: No, you're perfect. We really don't need anyone's permission to be who we are. We would like it. It would be nice. But we do not need.

So we go from “needing” to “not needing. So the experience or the lesson is about letting go of our perception of what we need to be safe. Once again, every time that fear, that need, arises within each and every one of us, we need to turn to our inner child, our inner thought processes and say: No, once again we don't need this. This is what we would like. But we don't need it. And simply give ourself the gift... give ourself the gift of ourself and make ourself enough. That we are enough for our life. We are enough for our dreams.

There is, my friends, a huge investment that we have in getting an "okay-ness" from someone else. We are are taught as children that we're good if this happens, then we're bad if that happens, and here's what you have to be to be loved in this world, this is what you have to do to get along in this world... And for many, many people, they just don't fit. And part of this program is to help people to understand that "not fitting is arriving." I so not fit in the world that we make jokes out of it. I mean I'm to the point now where people say: Well what do you do for a living? I said: I talk to the dead. Now that gets people's attention.

But I so don't fit that it's wonderful. I have a sign on my refrigerator that says: I'm so far from perfect I'm pleased. And I have another one that says: The longer I live the more I'm certain of how little I know and it's just fine. Learning to "be" and to not listen to the mind chatter will change your experience in this existence from the dark to the light.

Part 2 of 2 – GUIDANCE FOR YOUR LIFE - Wisdom For Your Soul
“Fear and Doubt Can Only Live in the House You Build” -  Rebroadcast from August 30, 2014

HANS:
Hello everybody. Welcome to the show. Today's topic is "Fear and Doubt Can Only Live in the House You Build." We are very happy to be with you today. It's a beautiful day. And you know, at a certain time of your life every day is a beautiful day. And I wish that I could help people to understand that every day is a beautiful day. We're blessed to be on the planet, we're blessed to be doing what we're supposed to be doing, and I'd like everybody to hold a thought for our dear friend Joan Rivers as she hopefully tries to regain consciousness after her medical emergency. She's brought a lot of laughs to a lot of people. Made a lot of people really angry. But I think she's pretty remarkable for 81 years old. So I am praying. I hope you all do too.

A couple of days ago I tweeted, yes, Hans King is tweeting if anyone can believe that. I tweeted something that Spirit said to me. Guidance said: "I'd like them to understand that fear and doubt can only live in the house they build." I want everyone to stop for a moment and think about that. What does that mean? It means that fear and doubt are an illusion manufactured in the mind. It is not really true. Yes, there are horrific events that happen in some people's lives, wars, accidents, things of that nature... But for most people that does not happen. And some day we will talk a little bit about what happens when those events occur.

But for most of us the greatest, probably most difficult thing we face in life is the illusion generated by the mind chatter. I once said to someone: Do you realize that nothing you are saying is actually going on? And she stopped me and she was quite angry and she said: Well of course it's going on. It's this and this and that and that... She went down this list and she said: I've been afraid since I was a little girl and all of these things that could have happened to me... And I stopped her. And I said: Could have happened to you, but they didn't. No, but she said: I was afraid and I was eager to get out of the circumstances. And I tried to help her to understand that she built a house to receive fear and doubt.

They're old friends you know. They go out together, have lunch, what have you...talk about how they can best mess up what you're doing in life. But if you would understand that deep inside of you are a series of rooms and doors, love is one of those doors for those rooms. Fear is one of those rooms. And when you begin to understand: Oh, wait a minute! Are you saying to me that I'm attracting the fear and the doubt to myself because I actually have built the room to receive it? And I would say: Yes. And then you begin the long journey of trying to prove to me that isn't so.

Remember all that is coming towards you is coming out of your own fear, your own mind chatter. Alfred would you jump in here for a little bit and tell me of your experience. The reason I bring Alfred in is he has a much younger experience and it is different than my experience.

ALFRED:
Fear and doubt really, from a spiritual perspective, don't exist. And what does that mean from my point of view is the worst absolute thing that can happen, that you could be fearful of, that you would be doubtful of is you leave the human body and go back to the Other Side which is reality. You're only here temporarily for the existence of the soul having a human experience.

HANS:
And the illusion of being in the existence.

ALFRED:
Yes. And the illusion and the difficulty of overcoming the illusion. So if you think about what's the worst thing you fear... what is it? Going back to the Other Side, going Home, going to a wonderful world of peace and harmony?

HANS:
Well gee Alfred, aren't we all going to do that anyway?

ALFRED:
We are. And if you put it in that perspective, what could you really fear? Oh, I may not succeed this lifetime. Okay. Well, you go back to the Other Side and say: Oh, let me give that another shot. And you come back down. There is no time. You can come back down and reincarnate as many times as you want. Just because you didn't do as well as you think you could, fine. You go back up to the Other Side and review it and you have another go at it. I think that's probably the other thing that's most worried about is: Am I going to do well this life? Well you don't have to worry about that either.

Hans:
No, you don't Alfred. You couldn't be more correct. Because you see folks, this is but a "click" in time. If you've ever listened to a Grandfather Clock, "click"... "click"... "click". That's your life. The largeness of your life is that you have billions of "clicks". Now I'm not saying to you that you should hurry up and run Home. No, no, no. On the contrary, what you want to do is hurry up and learn your lessons. You've heard me often speak about: And what makes you think that anything is wrong?

Things are thrown at us and... For instance, I made the mistake yesterday and I don't know what I was thinking... of turning on the News. And the 2 channels that are side-by-side are FOX and MSNBC. And I watched one for 5 minutes and watched the other for 5 minutes then turned them off. Because all they are is someone's "opinion" of what's going on. People who have absolutely no comprehension, no inside information, nothing. They're just making it up. You see?

And that's what we do in our life, Alfred, is that the way we are trained, the way life is presented to us as a child through our family, our fears are the fears of our fathers. Our fears are the fears of our mothers, our grandmothers, our grandfathers, our siblings. Our fears were never with us when we came in. There are, children, exceptions to that rule. Always an exception to every rule. The exception being sometimes someone has suffered what you have hear me refer to as "a trauma to the soul." And when that happens, when that occurs, sometimes there's what I call a "carry-forward-memory." That's when I find the value of past life regression.

Now I know Alfred you've gone for past life regression and you found some things and I believe you found it quite helpful. Is that right?

ALFRED:
That really was amazing because I remember a long time ago when I was in the Boy Scouts I actually had my Life Saving Merit Badge. I was a Lifeguard. But for some reason, during Lifeguard training, they wanted us to dive beneath the pier. And about 15 Lifeguards dived beneath the pier to check if everything was okay and popped up the other side and I sort of looked at that and I said: I'm not doing that. And I was the only one. And it just... pure white fear came over my body and I absolutely could not understand why I did not like swimming underneath things. I could swim anywhere. I could swim a mile no problem at all. But not underneath things.

And then finally I had a past life regression and it was because I had drowned because something had been on top of me like a ship or something.  And I specifically remember the exact same feeling when I went through my past life regression. Now, did it exist? Does it exist? It existed in the past and it's a carry-forward memory but it doesn't exist in the "now."

HANS:
No, it doesn't. And folks, here's a little homework you can do over the next week. If something's bothering you, something you heard strikes a little bit of a fear cord in you, or some doubt arises on a subject, stop yourself for a minute and say: Is this true? Is any of this true? Is this an actual fact or is my mind making it up because I have a place inside of me to believe something bad could happen. But is what is going on right now actually true or is it my mind chatter's interpretation? And if you start to do that, Alfred, with everything that comes up that's fearful or scary, you will literally change your life forever.

ALFRED:
And that's an interesting way to look at it is is look at fear and doubt from a spiritual perspective. Fear and doubt are "human." I'm not going to have enough money, I'm not going to find a partner, this is not going to happen or that is going to happen. All of that is about control, security. Those things are the complete opposite of spirituality which is abundance is unlimited, love is unlimited, your soul is unlimited. The humanness of us worries about: Do I have enough time? Am I going to run out of time? Spiritually speaking Einstein knew this - there is no time.

HANS:
No. You can't run out of it then.

ALFRED:
So if you get into a place of fear and doubt about anything, look at it and say: Am I being human? Am I looking at this from a human perspective? If I look at it from a spiritual perspective can those things I'm worrying about even exist?

HANS:
Excellent. Thank you very much. And that's the interesting thing is is what we're thinking about true? Does it actually exist? Or have I been so programmed that I've built a room in the house of my soul that provides me a space to put that fear, to put that doubt, to put that anger? You've heard me throughout the years... I love this old British saying that says: You see what you look for you know. But does anybody actually hear that? It's an old metaphysical saying that comes out of pure truth - You see what you look for you know. That's the room in the heart that you provide for the fear and the doubt to scare you.

I once told you that 96 to 98% of everything we ever worry about - this is a scientific study – 96 to 98% of everything we ever worry about actually never occurs. But we spend upwards of 37% of our waking day being concerned about it. Now folks just think what you could do with that 37%.

ALFRED:
Be peaceful. Be happy. Be joyful. Be grateful. Be in the moment.

HANS:
Be peaceful. Go to the park with a loaf of cheap bread and feed the ducks. They don't care whether it's cheap or not. They love the carbohydrates. Just do something. Do something differently. Don't operate any longer out of fear and doubt because you are all baby angels having this incredible human experience.

And stay off the News. We've got so many wonderful channels out there now from the Discovery Channel to HGTV. All kinds of wonderful channels doing all kinds of wonderful things. We have that now. If you want to watch TV, watch those things. I drive my folks a little crazy because I'm really fond of HGTV. And I watch how things are built, I watch how things are cooked. I like the Food Channel. That type of thing. And that's really, to me, quite enjoyable. Alfred he likes his Jeep Building and Car Building Shows. So find something that's fun, that's light. But watch even when you're doing that often the mind chatter begins. Okay?

Alfred talk about that a minute. That in the middle of doing something quite wonderful the little devil tends to creep in.

Alfred:
Well if you're in the moment usually it doesn't. But sometimes if you're out, say going for a walk, there'll be something... oh your mind chatter, your ego, your program that says: Shouldn't you be thinking about this? Shouldn't you be worrying about that? And it will take you out of the moment and bring you to what possibly could happen in the future or what you should be considering doing or what you could be doing other than being in the moment.

HANS:
Um hmm.

ALFRED:
Okay? And that I think is your best spiritual defense is to say... The thing that I do is if something like that happens, I say: Okay, if this is a valid thought, I kindly request the Other Side to remind me of it when I'm done being in the moment.

HANS:
(Laughing)

ALFRED:
If it's not a valid thought then They're not going to remind me.

HANS:
(Still Laughing) That's right. Get the heck away from me... Folks find always the humor in how you succumb to the mind chatter. Make it funny. Make it a joke. You know every once in awhile I'll say: Oh, there you go again silly thing! There you go again. So even in my life and all the teachers I know, to the person, I can tell you people who periodically the mind chatter gets the better of them and they forget to lock the room, the door where they are saying it's okay to come in.

You've got to lock that up. Draw a picture. Get some paper, draw a picture of a room with a big lock on it. Picture yourself drawing some keys and mark that room "Fear and Doubt." This is your home for Fear and Doubt.  But as of today, this very moment, you're going to lock that door. And you're going to take that key and you're going to throw it into the woods, you're going to throw it into the ocean. And when you're doing that you are saying: I give you no more power to exist in me today and for the rest of this incarnation. I am free of this fear. I am free of the doubt. It has no home here. I am free.

Now you may have to do that, gentle friends, over and over and over again. But in the end you will win. Always. Because it was never attached to you in the first place. You already had all the love, all the acceptance, all the non-judgment, all the joy is your birthright in the human form as your soul entered that form. You were complete at that moment. All the rest is an add-on. It's an addendum. It has nothing to do with who you are. Now you didn't know you were building the room to hold the fear and the doubt. Because we were born into a world that segregates out humanness and replaces it with fear and doubt.

I remember watching a movie... it was something out of India or Indian... I forget who it was. But I remember the Professor Godbole when James Fox is running around and saying: I can't find my tie pin and all... And he says: I have to get to the court because she's up in the court for the trial and all that. And Professor Godbole said: What are you going on about? He said: I have to be there. I have to help. And Godbole stopped him and he said: Young man what makes you think that you have anything whatsoever to do with the outcome of this trial? It has it's own life and it will proceed down that road.

ALFRED:
That's a really good point is one of the most important aspects we're taught, as human, is that "you" are the person who is in control of your life, "you" are the person who can get what you need to serve out of this life. That is a very human thought. That is a very separating thought. In that line of thought you are separating yourself from the humanness. You have yourself. And God's going to say: Okay great. If you think you've got it figured out, go for it. We're just going to hang back here and relax.

HANS:
Exactly.

ALFRED:
And as many of you know, spiritually speaking, the complete opposite is to surrender the outcome. So what we're doing is we're pointing out that the reason fear and doubt exist in your life is because there is an aspect of your life that is human and simply consider applying a spiritual principle in that area such as control and surrendering.

HANS:
Lock the door. Because the greatness of your spirituality far exceeds any power that any mind chatter, fear or doubt, could ever have over you. When we say to you: Not my problem - we don't mean to insult you. What we're saying is your problem that you're going through is made up by you. It is not my problem. I don't wish to be upset by what you're doing. Why are you doing that?

I had the pleasure to speak to a woman yesterday. She was so caught up in fear and doubt that it had literally destroyed all the possibilities in her life. She never took a partner because her mother once said to her: Yes, but they can leave you. Because her father did. She never got a good job because her mother said: It's a shame you're going to have to find a man someday to take care of you because you're just not bright enough. She bought that. 57 years of it. None of it was true. None of it will ever be true.

But she provided a space. In other words she built a house for that sadness, that pain, that doubt to live in. And she made certain that she fed that by proving that nothing had happened good for her and what she couldn't see was that she had never allowed anything "good" to happen for her. She became a victim of her own consciousness. And when I tried very hard with Spirit to remove it, she tried very hard to put it back in place.

For those of you who are healers and teachers, for those of you who work in the work that I work in, Alfred works in, sometimes folks, people have built such large homes to house their fear and doubt that you couldn't knock them down with a bulldozer. Alfred you know this to be so.

ALFRED:
If you identify with it, if you think it is you, if you think you're past makes up who you are, there's really nothing we can do to help you.

HANS:
No.

ALFRED:
That's it. If you understand that your past is simply that - the past. It is nothing more than a memory, if you understand that your past has made you stronger, built your character, be grateful for your past - but it is not where you are. Where you are is in the moment. Then you have a place to move out of that to say: No, this is where I am. That does not exist. It is not who I am. I am where I am in the moment. Those things are now are not me. I have choice. And that's what we're trying to teach you.

HANS:
Okay, that's very good. Just hold it there for a second. Choice. Alfred, do you know that most people don't believe they have a choice out of fear and doubt?

ALFRED:
Because we're not told we have choice...

HANS:
Correct.

ALFRED:
We're told you have to drink Coke and... And I just saw on a commercial today the newest thing - exercise your face to look younger.

(Hans laughing)

ALFRED:
You have to look younger so you have to exercise your face.

HANS:
Yes, that's it.

ALFRED:
You have to look slimmer, you have to earn more money, your car has to be newer. Are you tired of driving that boring old car?

HANS:
Oh my goodness...

ALFRED:
Wouldn't you want a nice new car to show everybody how successful you are?

HANS:
Isn't that funny how we're taught from Day 1, and as most of you know, I have a soapbox for this... We're taught from Day 1 - we're not quite good enough. Here's what we have to do. We have to eat Wheaties so we look like an athlete. We have to have our hair colored so we can look like the gal on the box of Clairol. We have to look and dress a certain way. Our bodies have to be a certain way. Folks, 99% of all people age and there really and truly isn't much you can do about it but watch your eating, exercise and be sure that you have a good mental attitude.

Our friend Joan Rivers, whether you like her or you don't like her, has actually gotten better with age. She truly has. She's at the absolute height of her career. And for those of you who've ever watched, I think it was in 2011 or 2012, her movie... It's amazing because she is, without a doubt, what many of you are - Survivors. She doesn't have a place in her heart to say she can fail.

I want every one of you to not have a place within you that says: I'm not good enough. You know one of the biggest products that we have out that reaches more people than anything we do is: “You Are Enough.” Why? Because most people don't know that's true. There is nothing you're ever going to do for the rest of your life that  will ever make you better than who you already are.

Oh, you can dress differently. You can live in a big house. You can have lots of money. But it all goes away one day folks. It all goes away. And what you are left with is the essence of you. Just the divine baby angel who came to visit in the human form. You are eternal. You are love itself. You are the radiant aspect of the Spirit in human form. Therefore what you want to always understand is that Spirit is your Source. Spirit is walking with you. Spirit is holding you. Spirit is saying gently to you: Mmmmm... You deserve better than that. You see? You deserve better than that. Don't build a room or a house for fear and doubt. Build a house of love, acceptance. I am enough. Not only for today but forever.

I had an interesting experience, Alfred, today. I had a wonderful client who had called and in speaking with her, she was still caught up in her childhood and her teens and early 20's with her family. She was so caught up with this that she actually believed that she was still in that. Although the parents, the grandparents, were all dead. They were all gone. They were all back in the Other Side.

But she was still living in the pain, in the doubt, in the fear, the anger, the resentment. She was still in that place screaming out: Why? Why? Why did that happen? Look what happened to my life. Rather than say: Whew! I'm glad I'm out of that! I'm not going to let that come into my life anymore. That was then. I'm not that person. I'm a different person. I'm this person here. A person in love, in light, of myself.

Now folks, many of you actually believe the pain in your life. You believe it. But if you stop for just a moment and you say: You know, let me think about this for a minute. Why am I still in pain over something that happened 25 or 30 years ago? You see, you're in it because you built the house for it to stay. You built the house for it to live and you feed it continuously. And until you stop feeding the pain, the disappointment, the fear, it will continue to live in the house that you have built that you don't know you built.

So folks, right now what I want you to hear... what I want you to hear is that “love abounds”. You may everything in the world that you need. But if you don't have peace... and you don't have love... you don't have anything. And you're in charge of that. Because if there's not someone in your life right, you be the one who you need to hug... for now. Okay?

Alfred, I think that will conclude the lesson for today.
