Topic: Are Mistakes Good For Us
November 16, 2013

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to Guidance For Your Life. We're broadcasting out of AM 880 ”The Revolution” in Asheville, North Carolina where it's been a bit chilly for the last week.

Hans:
I think that's a good way to put it. Hi everybody, it's Hans. I think it was 21 the other morning and for those of you who don't know a lot about Alfred, I'd like to tell you that he's allergic to cold. Aren't you allergic to cold Alfred?

Alfred:
This is a wonderful lesson that there's nothing wrong if it's cold outside and that is the lesson for today. Is there nothing wrong? Are Mistakes Good for Us? And without further ado to elaborate on this topic, I present to you The Modern Day Mystic Himself - Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Good afternoon everybody. You know what if, just everybody think about this for a minute, what if nothing is really wrong? Now everybody listen to your mind chatter as it busies itself telling you, Oh no, it's wrong because this is happening, and that's happening, and something else is happening. But what if nothing is wrong? What if was only our perception of what is going on? What if that's all it is? Somebody asked me awhile back: Are mistakes good for us? Well first of all there are no mistakes and if there were yes, they would be. First time out anything that you come up against is a lesson, right? And you hope you learn from that lesson. You can only make a mistake if you do it again. So basically, there are no mistakes. As the appearance of adversity comes to visit us from time to time in our life and we busy ourself  trying to understand why and rather than learn the lesson we wind up becoming guilty, or we wind up saying to ourselves: I wonder why I deserve that. But mistakes, if you want to use that word, I would say to you: Mistakes are periods of growth. For instance you could say: I wonder what's in this for me this time? Well I guarantee you one thing, I won't do that again. That's a growth. A mistake, to me, is something you keep doing over and over and over again on the same subject. As if you're trying to get apple juice out of a basket of oranges.

Alfred:
Oh what's the saying? "Insanity is doing the same thing and hoping for a different result?"

Hans:
Exactly. Exactly. And so if you know that what you are doing doesn't work but you keep trying to make it work, i.e. a job position, i.e. a relationship.... That's an interesting thing Alfred. I want to stop for a minute and go to relationships and mistakes.

Alfred:
Awh, relationships.

Hans:
Yes. Relationships and mistakes...

Alfred:
One of our "hot topics".

Hans:
It is indeed. Have you ever noticed folks that we keep drawing to us the same relationships over and over and over again? Whether they're friends, lovers... We just keep doing the same thing and a lot of people keep drawing to them "the needy people". Alfred, have you ever been in that place?

Alfred:
Yes because unknowingly that's who we attract. That's who we're looking for is to "save someone"....

Hans:
So we're looking to "fix someone". Or have you ever noticed Alfred that sometimes people put themselves out there to be rescued?

Alfred:
That aren't available to be rescued.

Hans:
That aren't available to be rescued. So they keep wanting to be rescued. I said this on Jeff Messer's show the other day: No one completes us folks. We already are. We already are perfect for the Great Spirit or God if you will. We are perfect for the Spirit. It's how we judge ourself. That's where we make a "mistake". Is that we have a tendency to become a victim of our own thinking. A victim of our own process. Some years ago, and I had to do a large crowd, there was about 1400 to 1600 people in the audience and I said to the audience: Can anybody in this room tell me what's going on in their life that they did not create? Nobody raised their hand. Now, even illness, even illness is often created through emotion. If you are depressed, if you're feeling low, if you're not taking care of yourself, i.e., you're eating foods that you know are not good for you or you're smoking too much or you're drinking too much... All of these will eventually cause  a health problem. But one of the biggest contributors to well-being is your emotional conduct. Are you a happy person? Are you a sad person? Okay? You have to look, sometimes. I can't tell you how many times I've had someone say to me Alfred: You know I went to the doctor and they told me there's absolutely nothing wrong; they can find nothing. Yet I feel terrible. I have to get a new doctor. It's almost as though they may be wrong. Because they really don't want to look at the fact that there may not be anything wrong and what may actually be going on is that they're depressing themselves and making themselves sick. Opening yourself up to: What if nothing is really wrong is a concept that many people have a hard time in coping with. You remember that lesson for you Alfred?

Alfred:
Absolutely. It's because so many things seem very obvious that they're wrong. But what we're trying to tell you in this lesson is: It's not whether something is obviously wrong or something in the world could be made better. This issue is that you have a perception or an opinion, in your mind that something is wrong. And that is the underlying issue. That is what causes you pain. And a lot of the lessons that we go through are to get you out of pain, into joy, into bliss, into happiness. To go within and find those things that are taking you away from your natural state of peace and one of those things that take you away from that are, if you have a perception or opinion something out there is wrong.

Hans:
And folks I have to say to you that this is a very, very difficult lesson in trying to learn it. Alfred and I talked about this before we brought it to you. A lot of people, especially during these appearance of difficult times, and actually they were difficult times, but everyone at some point has lost something. It's the appearance of the loss. We never really own a house, we never really own a car. We're learnt those things, we never get to keep anything. Someone said to me once many years ago when they saw my other property here in Asheville and they said: You must be so happy to be able to own a stream and trees. And I said: Own? You can't own a tree. You can't own a stream. I'm a caretaker and when I pass on someone else will take care of those trees and take care of that stream and someone after them. You don't own anything, okay? So what makes us think they're mistakes? I think, the appearance of mistakes are little nuggets of growth, little nuggets of lessons. The most important thing everyone needs to hear is: The greatest gift is to learn the importance of intention. This again is what the Spirit looks at. They look at the intention. Alright Alfred, on intention how did you deal with learning that lesson? I love to put him on the spot here.

Alfred:
He loves to embarrass me.

Hans:
He says...What is it you say "deer in the headlights syndrome"?

Alfred:
Oh, it even gets better during the Live Classes or especially when there's 200 people in the audience. He'll peer over and just mention some embarrassing story about when I was first groveling in order to become the Padawan and learn from....

Hans:
Let me tell you something son, you never groveled, okay? What you were was opinionated but you never groveled.

Alfred:
I had opinions.

Hans:
Oh my goodness, you're middle name is "opinion", not Dominic.

Alfred:
So if you ever get to attend a live event I'm sure Hans will elaborate further on these wonderful stories.

Hans:
Have you ever noticed that our audiences laugh a lot when we do the live presentations? They just can't believe.... One person about two years ago stood up during a Question and Answer period and said: I just want to know one thing. And I said: Yes? And she said: Do you two rehearse this?  Everybody broke out laughing. No, it's just the way we are. I like to bring as much humor to the teachings as possible because I believe that so many teachers get so very staid and drawn in and tight and they're sort of forcing this thing on you. I believe that life is about fun as well. And I think you can take any lesson, it doesn't matter what the lesson is, and turn it into real growth for yourself but you can also have fun learning. And one of the things that I like to teach everybody, what Spirit talks about with me is, please don't take your life so seriously. You're not going to get to keep it. Stop being so serious. Start finding some humor. That's the key is finding some humor. So what I like to do is when we do our workshops and our classes, no matter where it is, here or in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, it doesn't matter, is to pick on Alfred.

Alfred:
To use the Padawan as the Voodoo Doll...

Hans:
To pick on Alfred, this is the most fun I have because it's that "deer in the headlights" because during the classes Alfred has to stay in touch with the email questions that are coming in, he's very busy...

Alfred:
Don't let him fool you he just enjoys picking on me. To get me back from the early days.

Hans:
Yes. I really, really do.

Alfred:
Let's get the truth out here. I tortured poor Hans for the first couple years until I let go.

Hans:
Actually 3 1/2 years.

Alfred:
It was not that long.

Hans:
Yes it was. I lived it. I lived it.

Alfred:
No, I don't seem to remember that long..

Hans:
Of course not because you're perfect.

Alfred:
I am...Well...

Hans:
Someone, somewhere has made the mistake of saying to Alfred, our pal over here...

Alfred:
That was Jeff Messer by the way...

Hans:
That he has a "golden voice" and so he's having a plaque put on the door of his office  saying "The Golden Voice One". So just to let you know that things around here are a little comical too.

Alfred:
Well everyone is born with unique gifts that are innate to them by their _______.

Hans:
I'm still looking for yours. I'm still looking for them.

Alfred:
My dharma or my unique gifts?

Hans:
Your unique gifts.

Alfred:
And everybody has unique gifts according to their life path.

Hans:
That's correct. Everyone does.

Alfred:
It's not just me. It's not just Hans. Everybody does. But it's through these teachings, getting back to being serious here, through these teachings we help you find your unique gifts by uncovering who you really are.

Hans:
You know you're so important, each and everyone of you to God...You're so important that there's not another "you", every has been, is now, or ever will be. So your uniqueness belongs to you, you know? And for instance, I had a client today, was doing a Skype reading from Bogota, Columbia and this person's perception was that they'd lost their father. And one of the things that I explained to him was that his father is doing just fine. See what we want to know when our loved ones pass over, when they pass away is did the consciousness of the individual survive. And when the father came back through the reading and spoke to the son and gave a certain amount of clues, there was no longer a doubt in this person's mind that the consciousness, therefore the person that he loved was still in existence somewhere. He didn't quite understand the Other Side. He said: I'm not certain how this works. But he said: You couldn't have known these things so there must be something going on. It's really important to remember that the father's uniqueness is loved as much as the reader's uniqueness, his son is. So we all have a wonderful gift called the Godforce which flows through each and everyone of us. We have that. But there are times in our life based on the way we are brought up, we actually grow our children away from who they are. I'm going to repeat that. We actually grow our children away from who they really are. Because in our love to take care of our children we know what is best for them. And basically that isn't true. We need to learn to grow our children into who they are, not what we perceive they need so they can be safe and get through life. So many people that I know today, if I say this question to them, if I ask this question to them, I say: So who were you going to be before who you became now? And what were you going to do before you started doing what you do now? And almost every person can tell me what they'd rather be doing. And for me, my friends, that's a heartache.

Alfred:
I actually have a client like that right now. His name is Elaine and he's actually in Italy. He's Italian. Born there. And this was exactly it, from a childhood he knew he wanted to be out in nature. And he had this job and that job and everything drove him crazy but he just had this yearning to be out in nature. And finally as an adult he got out there and he says: I don't understand. Why am I so happy being outside? And he discussed with me his childhood of... You know, I knew what I wanted when I was a child but there's all this peer pressure. My family tells  me this. My friends tell me I have to do that. I have to be responsible. But the only thing that makes me happy is being outside. And I think that's simply it people, is you have your answers except we grow away from them.

Hans:
We are grown away from them Alfred. We actually don't grow away from them. We are grown away from them. If you leave a child to their own personal growth, you'd be amazed as to what happens. Okay? So does it matter, for instance if someone says we did something wrong? Alfred, do you think that matters?

Alfred:
Absolutely not and let me try to paraphrase your teachings Hans. Which is: What somebody says about you is none of your business...

Hans:
That's right.

Alfred:
But what you think about what someone says about you absolutely is.

Hans:
Should be very much your concern actually.

Alfred:
Because that means you have an opinion of what they said.

Hans:
And you have a judgment of yourself because they said something. If someone says to you: You're lazy. Or someone says to you: You're not living up to my expectations. Quite frankly children that has nothing to do with you. That's not your problem. That's their problem being visited on you. And under no spiritual law do you need to react to that. None. Man made the rules; God made the laws. And nowhere in God's law does it say: You are less than anyone else. That wouldn't be God-like would it? That wouldn't be possible is it? Okay? So if something goes astray Alfred in our life, what do you think are the possibilities in growth for this? See I'm still working on Alfred...

Alfred:
Yes. That is the joy of being the Padawan of The Modern Day Mystic Himself is you constantly get lessons thrown at you. But luckily now it's the both of us who throw lessons at everyone else. So you get both of us. So something goes astray. Well here's a possibility. And we talk a lot about possibilities because in the Universe there are infinite possibilities. But how about the possibility that what you consider a mistake is simply a perception, is simply your personal opinion. How do you know if it was a mistake? How do know if it wasn't supposed to go that way? How do you know if it wasn't supposed to happen in the first place? How do you know if it not happening, or it happening a different way is actually the best thing for you? What was that quote from that country song you have Hans? About "unanswered prayers"?

Hans:
"Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers." Garth Brooks. Boy is that ever true.

Alfred:
If something goes astray, first of all there's the first issue is you perceive it went astray. Well how about you were getting yourself into a pile of do-do and your Guidance came along and said: Let's yank them away from that. You perceive it didn't work. You perceive it failed. When in reality maybe the Other Side saved your beans.

Hans:
Sometimes the Spirit, more times than not, rushes in to save our beans because left on our own, with our own consciousness we can get ourselves into more dog-on problems and in more dog-on troubles. You know, even as a child we know right from wrong. Even as a child. We know to hit someone is wrong. What is the one thing we always want as a child? A hug. We know whence commeth our strength.  And everyday Spirit has enormous arms and they reach out to you and they say: Please don't believe what your mind chatter is saying to you. Here, come here, we'll give you a hug, let's re-think this path that you're on. And so your job is everyday to say: You know what? I'm going to listen to the Spirit not to this silly mind consciousness of mine. I remember back in the day when Alfred was sort of new at some of this and he would look at me and say: I don't know what in your head rocks, I think, because this can't possibly work. And so I said: Okay, why don't we try something? He'd say... Well, try it. Remember that Alfred?

Alfred:
Yes and that's one thing that we'll repeat time and time again is we'll present a lesson and you may think we're just right off our rockers. And all we tell you is: Look, you probably know how your life works. You know you. You've been with you your whole life. We're giving you options. We're giving you possibilities to say: Hey if you're looking for something else, if you're a seeker, if you're saying: Okay, I'm willing to try something, try it. What is the worst thing that's going to happen? You can go back to the way that you were.

Hans:
You know, my friends, if you can pull yourself away from: I made a mistake, which is coupled with: I may not be good enough, if you can pull yourself away from that for a moment and say: I'm really glad that happened because I've learned from that. I get it. I deserve better than that. So there are no mistakes. There are just opportunities for growth. And I think that's the way I'd like to put that  today Alfred, is that the perceptions of mistakes are the opportunities for growth.

Alfred:
And that's another way to look at mistakes. Because a mistake has a negative connotation. It's mind chatter. It's heavy. It is self punishing and what we're saying here, this lesson, is by simply changing your perception, simply changing your definition of what happened. You can either say: Well it was no mistake, I don't fully understand it. Or you can say: Wow, I really learned a lot from that. Those have positive connotations. Positive energy.

Hans:
Absolutely.

Alfred:
And you're not carrying around something negative and you can do that by simply changing your perception.

Hans:
I think what I would really like everyone to take away from this today is that your whole life from the day you're born is about possibilities. The incredible possibility of you. The incredible possibility of no fear. The possibility that God may love you more than you have any idea of. The possibility that you're just fine. That there's nothing more you need to do to be a better you. The possibility that God loves you just the way you are. The possibility that there's a door to abundance, prosperity, love, relationships - it's all there for you, all of it. It's only what we perceive of it that gets in our way. So once you begin to know that, once you begin to understand that and actually hear that truth, everything in your life begins to change. Everything. So this is a wonderful opportunity today for you to look at yourself and say: Am I the person I really want to be? Am I the person that I love the most? How am I with my god? Am I where I wanted to be? Or have I let a series of conditions interfere with my dreams and my joy and my wishes? Alright Alfred, anything that you would like to add to our subject today before we go to questions? And I do notice there are a lot of questions today.

Alfred:
Just something I'd like our old and new people to recognize is: A lot of what we're asking you to do in terms of spiritual growth, life growth, paths to leading a life of happiness, of joy, is by simply changing your perception. What we're doing on this show is going through many different specific areas and saying, in this specific area, such as mistakes, how about just trying to change your perception? And in the end by trying to change your perception, you can be more peaceful, you can be more happy, you can be more in touch with the Universe, more who you really are.

“Dealing With Anger” by Hans Christian King - Spiritual Radio Show transcription

GUIDANCE FOR YOUR LIFE Radio Show
with Hans Christian King  www.HansKing.com
and Alfred Ricci www.AlfredRicci.com
Topic: “Dealing With Anger”
November 9, 2013

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to Guidance For Your Life. Tonight's topic is "Dealing with Anger". This is a real serious topic that we deal with a lot in our classes. But before we get to "Dealing with Anger",  we're going to be talking about what's going on in our new base of Asheville, North Carolina. So without further ado, I present to you Hans Christian King.

Hans:
Hello everybody. Welcome to the show. So happy to be back with you after this week has passed. I received quite a few emails from individuals here in the greater western North Carolina area asking us what are we going to be doing here this winter. A few of the things that we will be doing is that we're going to be holding classes on various subjects. There will be classes on Intuitive Development. There will be different classes. Alfred will be holding Automatic Writing Classes and Spirituality and Business Classes. And we will be having, around the area some Open Forums, some "Fireside Chats" in different locations. These will all come to pass probably starting in January, February and March in that area there. And we're really looking forward to your attendance and meeting all our our new people. Alfred, anything to add on this?

Alfred:
So currently it looks like the 2 classes that we have scheduled to be held Live in Asheville, North Carolina as well as over the internet, are "Spirituality and Your Career" that is the first one that we're going to have. That's the last two weeks of February. And then we're going to be holding the next class which will be "Automatic Writing" and Automatic Writing is going to be scheduled for April. For the first 3 weeks of April. Again you can attend the class Live via the internet or you can come and sit with us in Asheville, North Carolina.

Hans:
Isn't that amazing when you come to think about that Alfred? That people can now, if they're not able to attend for whatever reason, they can watch it on the computer. I think, Boy, technology is amazing when you come to think about it.

Alfred:
It is. And that's what we're all about is giving you, no matter where you are, the ability to access Teachings from the Modern Day Mystic Himself, Hans Christian King. For free, for everyone. Anyone anywhere can access these Teachings every week. Each Saturday 1:00pm Eastern time through 880AM. You can listen locally, you can stream over the internet, you can access us if you are International via the Podcast. We're now streaming through iHeart Radio through the U.S. For our overseas people, even Canada unfortunately, also have to get the show through the Podcast. We're doing our best to come up with professional broadcasting but as we get more professional then we start dealing with ....

Hans:
We get more limited.

Alfred:
Yes. Interesting. But still anyone, anywhere, you can listen through the Podcast. You can listen...

Hans:
Let me ask you this question. Can people listen to the Podcast through the same hour as the show is being broadcast?

Alfred:
It's a little bit delayed on the Podcast.

Hans:
A slight delay.

Alfred:
Yes, there's a slight delay.

Hans:
Okay. But they can set it up and definitely hear the show. And through the Podcast, you can actually download us. You can download it, take us with you. So if there happens to be a show that you really like, go to the Podcast through the 880AM page...

Hans:
I had a lady email me that says she takes us everywhere she goes.

Alfred:
Yes. And that's why we say, download us, take us with you, take the MP3 put it on your iPhone, iPad, Android....

Hans:
Whatever you happen to have.

Alfred:
MP3 player...

Hans:
You know folks, that when he talks like that I have no absolutely no idea what he's saying. I actually, as I think I've told you, I still have a flip phone and that's about the extent of my technology. [Hans laughing] You go into Alfred's office and you look there and he has all these computers and wires and Oh, my goodness me...

Alfred:
And I do my best. I know enough about computers and technology to help get Hans' teachings out there as much as I can but if anybody has a better idea, there is a section on hansking.com where we are looking for volunteers. If anybody wants to help us, help Hans, help others.

Hans:
And we actually are looking for some volunteers here in the Asheville, Buncombe County area to help us with some projects that we have. If you have any spare time or you would like to donate your time, please email Alfred@hansking.com and let us hear from you.

Hans:
Tonight's topic is "Dealing with Anger". And anger often comes from the personal perception that something is wrong. Anger is a quiet  frustration that says: What I am hoping for, what I am wanting to see happen just isn't working. What can I do about that? And the more frustrated we get the more we feel we've lost control of the outcome of a situation. And anger, in and of itself, is simply a quiet way of someone trying to defend their position. Trying to say: Ouch, that doesn't work for me or I don't like this, this doesn't feel good to me.  However, what if you found out, and you will hear me say this throughout these shows, and if you can really hear it and put it in your heart, you will change your life. What if you found out that actually nothing was wrong? Absolutely nothing. And when you find out that nothing is wrong, your mind stops reacting to a negative thought. Alfred, I want to talk to you, if you don't mind, and bring you in here for a minute with this "Dealing with Anger". Being someone whose, can I say, one of their major lessons was learning to deal with anger as a child. What was the process that you began. And remember folks, he doesn't know I'm going to ask these questions otherwise...

Alfred:
No. I can't wait till we can put this on video again..

Hans:
And you can see what we're doing.

Alfred:
And you can see the deer in the headlights of the bald Padawan.

Hans:
So, how did you learn to deal with the anger, early days?

Alfred:
It came from a simple little lesson that we're going to try to emphasize today.  Which is: by simply changing your perception, the way that you look at things, you can change so many parts of your life. And for me, dealing with anger was realizing the reason I was angry was because I thought something was wrong. I thought something bad had happened. And it is because of that perception that I thought something was wrong. I perceived that something bad had happened. That perception is what caused me to be angry for well over 25 years. And I'm talking very angry.

Hans:
So Alfred, how does one, and you've learned that lesson and you work on it, it does come up from time to time still does it not? I mean it does for all of us.

Alfred:
Yes.

Hans:
How do you handle that? How do you handle when you've already known what it's about and you know what needs to be done and you get angry anyway and you're trying so hard to be a spiritual being. How do you handle that moment?

Alfred:
Well there's two different levels we're talking about here. First we're introducing the topic that you are angry because you perceive that there is something wrong. And what makes you think you understand what is right or what is wrong? What makes you think you know what lessons you've asked for? What situations did you ask to be presented to you? Since you're an old soul you can pretty much assume that you asked to be presented with difficult lessons.

Hans:
Yes. And all lessons aren't good and happy and loving are they?

Alfred:
No, no. As an old soul you're meant to be presented with challenging lessons. So the first part of the answer is, in general whenever you get angry it's: what makes you think you know what's going on; what makes you think you have the right to have a perception?

Hans:
Yes. And you have to learn folks to live in a place that says, wait a minute I need to sit in this and not allow my mind chatter to run. I need to sit in this and be okay with not knowing. Be okay with not understanding. Because at that point you help to develop an  understanding that Spirit and the Godforce love you just as you are in that moment. You are not letting them down because you're not quite getting the lesson. Believe always my friends, that God loves all of it's children equally. Spirit loves us all equally. There are no better, no worse, just equally. It's very hard sometimes to be God-like and love everyone. It's difficult to love everyone if something feels wrong. Is that correct Alfred? For you?

Alfred:
Yes. If you perceive something is wrong, if you perceive that somebody did something wrong then you're actually putting up a wall. You're putting up a barrier. You're not surrendering. You're trying to control. And through basically all aspects of spirituality, it is always stated "surrender". And this is an aspect of surrendering. It is to surrender your perception. To let go of your perception that something is wrong, that somebody did something wrong. Instead we say replace that with compassion. To say no matter what happens, if somebody's having a bad time, if they're just going through something difficult that's your initial perception, say let me just have compassion for that person, let me just love that person.

Hans:
What about in the moment of anger and frustration and doubt. What about changing yourself to a point where you say: you know what, I'm going to have compassion for myself. I'm going to use this moment of frustration and anger and doubt and stop and say, wait a minute, wait a minute. Why am I doing this to myself? I don't want these thoughts in my head. I don't want this anger and frustration to be part of my dharma. So having a moment to the self and saying, I love you just the way you are. Who you are is good enough for me. And say that to yourself about yourself. You know Alfred, both our past and current thoughts do cause anger.

Alfred:
Yes. And that when we, and pretty much every other spiritual seeker and teacher says: go within, go do your internal spiritual work. Well what is that internal spiritual work? That's digging through your past and looking to find thoughts and perceptions that are causing you to be angry.

Hans:
Anger may come oftentimes from our past when in earlier form, and earlier childhood, when we sort of formed judgments about others we were given judgments about what is right and what is wrong. But when you look at a little baby for instance, you have no perception in your head that anything's wrong with that child do you?

Alfred:
And a lot of these teachings are very quick summaries and highlights of what we go over in great detail in the Intuitive Development Class. Which basically says, it is mind chatter. It is these thoughts, these perceptions, our perception of trauma, something is wrong that separates us from the natural flow, that separates us from the guidance that is with us always. It is not the question of being intuitive. We all are intuitive.

Hans:
Absolutely.

Alfred:
It's have you gone through and done your inner work that is separating you from your bliss, your happiness, your joy? Have you released the things that are causing you to be angry? And we're doing our best to give you those highlights tonight in this lesson.

Hans:
You know Alfred, we have a saying that we bring up during our radio shows during our teachings that are really important for people to hear. Let's say that for whatever reason there was a phone call from this person, or a letter from that person, what if, just what if, you could just say to yourself, this is not my problem. Isn't that an interesting concept Alfred? This is not my problem. And if you can hear that and say, why am I spending so much time fussing and worrying about this issue when it's not my problem?

Alfred:
It seems to lead back to what Mahatma Gandhi said, which is "Be the change that you wish to see in the world". That if you perceive that there is an issue outside of yourself, go within and release the perception that there is an issue. Cleanse yourself of the issue. Go within and find and release whatever perception, perceived trauma that you seem to have, that you're seeming to hold onto. Because when you do, when you let go of these, and again within the Intuitive Development Course we have hours and hours and hours of various ways to go through all of this... All of a sudden you find one less issue to be angry about. You find more space in your life to be peaceful and joyous.

Hans:
Going within during an anger attack and asking yourself, wait a minute, is this really about what just happened or is there a cumulative effect here? Is this part of an ongoing situation when this type of thing comes up? For many, many people some issues don't ever seem to get resolved. And you often ask yourself, why doesn't this get resolved? What is it that causes me to suffer on this issue? And maybe for many people the lesson is simply, what makes you think anything is wrong? Check your mind chatter. Ask yourself, am I really angry with this situation now or am I angry because it reminds me of situations that look like this from before? Ask yourself: Do I need to allow this situation to disturb my ease? Am I allowing myself to feel terrible about something that actually happened a long time ago? There's an old saying: “Stop trying to fit a square peg in a round hole". And sometimes we spend our whole life on a certain issue trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. And when we do that, we have this quiet determination, that by golly I know that this square peg will fit in this round hole and no one's going to tell me it won't and I'm going to keep hammering away. And no matter what anyone says to you, you know that won't work, you get angry with them.

Alfred:
And here's the funny part, how about letting go of the peg?

Hans:
Yes. Just let it go because it's irrelevant whether or not the square peg fits in the round hole. That's what you don't know. It's irrelevant. It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. It's your perception that made that up.

Alfred:
It's your perception that says, that peg is important.

Hans:
Yes. And it isn't.

Alfred:
And what we're trying to say is that by changing your mind, changing the way you view whatever it is, we'll say this particular peg, how about just putting the peg down and saying I don't wish to carry this peg around with me anymore.

Hans:
Because you're actually doing with the peg is pounding it into your own head. You see what I'm saying folks? You're actually causing yourself stress. You're  causing yourself pain because you're going to prove a fact. Let it go. All pain is caused by a perception. In one form or another. But I go back to what we were talking about earlier, when you're stuck in something, you're just really stuck in it and you're working it in and it's not working the way you want it to work, stop for a moment and say: What in the world do I think I'm doing? Why am I making myself so crazy over this issue? This issue is nothing more than an issue. It's how I look at the issue that makes it important. Just learning to be, in the moment with no expectations, no trying to make things work, things will work out the way things are supposed to work out if you leave it alone. That's the key. And learning to have compassion for yourself saying: I deserve better than what I'm giving myself. Someone's idea of you, is none of your concern. Your boss, your mom, your dad, your friends, none of your concern. It has nothing to do with you. That's their perception. It has nothing to do with you, again I say. But what you think and how you feel about what they say, that can really, really, really harm you. That can really hurt you when you start to have a perception of trying to please other people. When you have a perception of trying desperately to fit into a situation, let it go, let it be. And if there's love in it, if there's light in it, it will resolve itself. Alfred, any more on this subject you would that you would like to talk about?

Alfred:
The trick that I found, this is shall we say a little more advanced answer to what Hans originally asked is how I dealt with my past, is to understand that which you hold sacred, you may not need to hold sacred. For example, those of us who had difficult childhoods may be trying to understand, trying to justify, trying to seek vengeance, trying to correct, trying to fit in where you call yourself an abused child. Well how about the concept of: there's nothing wrong. How about just letting go of the tons of things that were wrong? Yes, they were difficult but was there anything really wrong? Is it really necessary to be an abused child or can you let it go and say, Huh, what didn't kill me made me stronger.

Hans:
And what did I learn from this?

Alfred:
And what did I learn from this?

Hans:
And you know Alfred, it's very true, very compassionate on your part. One thing I think we need to understand that as a child we wouldn't know about any of this. So our perception would be that we're being mistreated and something is wrong. But when you reach a certain age and have a little spiritual wisdom about you, I believe you can come in then to heal these past problems.

Alfred:
Correct. And for those of you who are seekers, who are trying to find answers - why did these things happen to me, what am I having such a difficult life? The answer to you is there's no reason to figure it out because what is of value is how you deal with things. Not how those things happened to you. It's are you compassionate? Did you let go of things? Did you deal with things in a loving way? Or are you holding onto things, continually every single day, month, year, year after year, 20 maybe 30 years later trying to bash that round peg into a square hole and saying I'm going to figure out why this happened.

Hans:
By golly.

Alfred:
I did that for 25 years of trying to figure out my childhood. And finally I just said: Huh, that was interesting.

Hans:
Your childhood, as most of us now realize, was planned by you in the first place.

Alfred:
Yes, and that's what we're trying to say. Is there's a really good reason you don't remember your path in life. You don't remember why you were born. You don't remember the lessons and the obstacles you asked to be presented to you. And quite simply the answer is, what's the purpose of taking the test if you know the answers? The question is that character growth comes from how you deal with those situations. If you overcame the situation and that's what we're trying to tell you to do here, is not hold onto, but to overcome, to learn the lesson of, and to let go of perceptions. Your perceived perception to say, you know what? Maybe I really don't understand. Maybe I don't remember. Maybe you weren't supposed to.

Hans:
Alfred, remember when you were really upset about something and I looked at you, and we were in a meeting, and I said well Alfred...and you felt you had legitimate causes to be upset about this issue and my Guidance said to me, tell Alfred this. And they said: Alfred what if you found out that there is nothing wrong on this issue"? Remember how you felt then?

Alfred:
Yes. And that's it. You have two choices. You can choose to continue to hold onto that which is sacred, that which formed you, which made you who you are, which caused you to be an abused child or an abused person. Or, you can just say: Hmm, maybe there is nothing wrong. Maybe my perception is just not full formed. Maybe I just don't understand everything. Maybe I can just let it go. And that's where the character growth comes from. That's where soul growth comes from.

Hans:
So Alfred, on this particular subject, I would like to leave the subject with this thought. In Dr. James Allen's wonderful book, As A Man Thinketh, he says: “It's important to remember that they themselves are makers of themselves”. And what we are trying to teach you is that you can make a choice. You can make a choice to be angry, or you can make a choice to not be angry.

Alfred:
You can make a choice that whatever has happened to you forms who you are or, to have you form who you are. Believe it or not, it is a choice.

Hans:

And because the greatest gift I think that God gives us, is free will. When we have free will we can make a choice. Remember that when you're really angry about something, there's a perceived loss somewhere, there's a perceived something was done to you somewhere. What if you stopped for just a moment and you say wait a minute here, that's my old me. Wait a minute here, I'm not going to fall victim to this again, I'm letting this go. What somebody said, what somebody thinks, the appearance of whatever loss it is, what we can say is: I choose not to go there again. I choose to have compassion for myself. Compassion for my lessons. I am the greatest person I have ever, and/or will ever know and my God doesn't love anyone more than me". Alright Alfred, I think that concludes the lesson for day.

"What Should We Really Value?" by Hans Christian King - Spiritual Radio Show transcription

GUIDANCE FOR YOUR LIFE Radio Show

and Alfred Ricci www.AlfredRicci.com

Topic: What Should We Really Value?

Alfred:
Hello everyone and welcome to Guidance For Your Life. We'll be spending some time at the beginning of the show discussing new events, our new broadcasting, our new situation here in Asheville, North Carolina, what we're doing with our broadcasting with our new International people with the new way we're getting out via 880 AM  and iHeart Radio, and some upcoming classes that are happening with our new location in Asheville, North Carolina. So Hans where do you want to start?

Hans:
Well I'd first like to start by saying Good Afternoon Everybody, Welcome to the Show. Especially all of our new people who are just turning in and turning on today. Thank you for being part of us. It's beautiful here in Asheville, North Carolina. For those of you who don't actually know where Asheville is, it's in the western Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. Beautiful. I like to say the biggest house in the United States is in Asheville, North Carolina. I look out and all the trees are dropping their leaves turning different colors. It's a wonderful time of the year to begin to shed what doesn't work in your life anymore. And since we're nearing the end of the year, this is a good time to sit down with a good cup of hot chocolate and listen to your heart and ask your heart what it would like to let go of as we approach the end of the year. And Alfred, how do you feel about this time of the year? Because I was born in Los Angeles so...

Alfred:
I started my live in New England. I don't remember very much watching the trees change but it is absolutely phenomenal being up here in the mountains and seeing the trees change. It is spiritual...it really is.

Hans:
You had a motorcycle ride the other day on the Blue Ridge Parkway did you not?

Alfred:
I did. And that is one of the main things we were talking about with  somebody who is visiting. And they said "Blue Ridge Parkway - what's that"? That is the reason you come to this area.

Hans:
Follow me and I will show you what it's like! Last night was Halloween and I hope all of you had a great time. We went to an outing at a dear friend's house last night. It's a really a fun time of the year. Alfred, would you like to explain a little bit about the radio show to those people who don't know us or know what it is we are trying to do?

Alfred:
Sure. For the last few years, we've been broadcasting a show and we've called it Modern Day Mysticism with the Modern Day Mystic himself, Hans Christian King. Since we've moved to Asheville we've become associated with 880 AM The Revolution and we decided to open up the show to our new fan base, our local base, which we haven't had in awhile, to Asheville and call it Guidance For Your Life. Now it's the same show. We're going to be doing it the exact same way but we decided to make it a little more understandable. Guidance, what is Guidance? Guidance very simply is "that which comes through you from the other side and provides either life guidance for yourself or for somebody else”. Now a lot of people as you know, Hans is a Medium. A Medium is a person who hears what the other side says and then speaks it. So it is through Hans that I understood the concept of Guidance and it's through a lot of the classes that we teach you how to get Guidance. And Guidance is exactly that. For your life. It is to help you through your life, it is to help you be of service to others. The guidance can be for yourself, the guidance can be for others that you are serving. Hence the new title of the show - Guidance For Your Life.

Hans:
I like that title. It rings very nicely. And I hope that our family that's been with us for so many years likes the new name as well. As Alfred says, nothing in this show actually will be changing except we're broadcasting through 880 and I'm very happy to be working with them. Again they have gone beyond the pale to help us and I'm eternally grateful.

Alfred:
So with 880 AM, we're not doing the broadcasting anymore. We're going through them and I'm so happy to hand this off to them.

Hans:
Aren't you?

Alfred:
So we've just found out recently through iHeart Radio that we're broadcasting through, we are broadcasting over the internet through iHeart Radio through the U.S., through New Zealand and Australia. Of course there's some copyright thing that we just found out. So what we've done is we've opened up the Podcasting Service so anyone in Canada, in Europe, in South America, in the Middle East you will have access to our latest show via our Podcasting Service which is also is available on the Radio Show page on hansking.com

Hans:
A question for you Alfred, how will the people in those countries know what we just said? Have we posted this information on the web page yet?

Alfred:
Yes. It's on the webpage. I've done my best to try to explain the differences. OK, if you're  here in the U. S. or Australia or New Zealand you can listen, just click here through iHeart Radio. If you're International you can listen, click here for the Podcast. Hopefully I've done a good job.

Hans:
Hopefully everyone will get in line and we'll get our act together and everybody will get their act together. This came a little bit of a surprise to us because we've been broadcasting world-wide now for any number of years. A small glitch, but the same show and the same show goes out and will go to the same people who want to listen to it they just have to look at it in a different venue that's all.

Alfred:
So. What is the show? What is Guidance For Your Life for those people who are joining us who are listening to us through 880 AM or streaming through iHeart Radio? The show comes in two parts. The first part is we that we have a Teaching, a Spiritual Teaching. We have guidance to help you with a specific aspect of your life.

Hans:
Where do these lessons come from Alfred?

Alfred:
We actually ask our Spiritual Circle Members to send in issues, spiritual lessons that they're dealing with. We'll go into more about what it's like to be a Spiritual Circle Member but just one of the member benefits is we ask them: What are you dealing with in your spiritual quest when you're going out there? And today's topic "What Should We Really Value" that's the topic for today, was given to us by one of our members. And basically we try to post as far in advance, at least 3 or 4 weeks in advance, the topics so that you can see the topics we'll be talking about. And if this is a topic that you think others would benefit from, we kindly ask you to share with your friends or social media - Facebook or you can Tweet it - or whichever way you want to share the link. The link should be available through the show page on hansking.com. The links will be available to share on 880 AM. You can share with your friends or social media on either of those. We do this for free. We're happy that anyone, anywhere can listen to the show for free. You don't have to be a Spiritual Circle Member to listen. We're just happy to broadcast to anyone, anywhere. We're just happy to be of service. That's why we're here is to give guidance.

Hans:
You know Alfred, for a lot of folks that may not be able to sign up right now to be a member, I want you to know what value they get from listening to the questions from other people.

Alfred:
And that's the second half of the show. Once we're done with, shall we say the Teaching for the day, our Guidance - the guidance that comes through us to help you on a particular topic. In the second half of the show we open our e-mails and we go into answering questions that are given to us from our Spiritual Circle Members. That's another one of the member benefits of being a Spiritual Circle Member, is that each week you can send in a question of what you're dealing with personally and Hans and I will do our best to provide guidance to help that individual with whatever life issue, spiritual issue that they're dealing with. So again that's the second half of the show. Now there is a chance at the end of the show there might be some time that we have and we go to a couple of places. We go to our emails that we might have received through our 880 AM show page or on our Facebook page and we might take some questions from there also, if we happen to have time. But we take care of our members first. Now as Hans was saying people learn a lot from the questions and the answers that are sent in because these are real life issues that our members are dealing with. Aren't they Hans?

Hans:
Yes they are. And what applies to one oftentimes applies to many. So even though you may not be able to join our circle it makes no difference because you get the value of the show and you get the value of us answering other people's questions and you know the answers come from The Spirit itself. I'm what's referred to as a Direct Voice Medium. And so when Spirit speaks, I hear it speaking it out at the same time. It's pretty rare. I've been very blessed to have had this.

Alfred:
Now a lot of people ask us "What's the difference between being a Spiritual Circle member and getting a reading with Hans? Now a lot of people know that getting a reading with Hans is pretty in-depth. It's pretty life changing, it's like getting your life on a silver platter. Basically the difference is during the show we answer questions in a, shall we say rapid fire manner. We answer of course each one with as much compassion as we possibly can but we don't go into as much detail as we would in a reading. Basically we tried to come up with a way that we can be as supportive as possible to as many people as possible whether you are a member or not a member. But if you would like more in-depth support then Hans or I would spend a much greater amount of detail helping you with your life then that's something that you would look at and go to hansking.com and you can find out more about Personal Readings.

Hans:
Alright and on that note, Alfred I would like to say a little bit about What Should We Really Value. My friends, in the long run in life when your life here is over the only value that you will take with you when you go is your character. When you go back to the other side you will take the character, what you have learned, how you have triumphed over adversity, how you have gotten rid of your demons and your devils, how you have not lived a life filled with fear and regret and guilt. You add that to your higher consciousness. You add that to your consciousness and your character grows. So that each time you come back you're sort of one more rung up on the evolutionary ladder. I believe that what we really need to value is Love. That's what I think we need to value. We need to understand that nothing we are going to do, nothing that we are going to accumulate or acquire, nothing do we get to keep except Love. How we loved, how we allowed our self to be loved that's it. And we spend all this time, great quantities of our time, trying to fix this or make that work and running crazies through our mind chatter, being mad at someone, feeling disenfranchised from society. Sometimes we live in a place of guilt, sometimes we live in a place of anger..

Alfred:
Being a victim

Hans:
Thank you Alfred, I was searching for that word. Big time in society today. Somebody else had made me do this, I am this because somebody else did that. Nonsense children, nonsense. You'll always hear me say that they themselves are makers of themselves. I didn't invent that. But what you want to hear is that you are the creator and the creation of you. You are here by your design. You are not here by accident, you are here by design. So the value...The Christ put it very very well - great teacher - he said: Learn to be in the world but not of  it. Hear that children. Learn to be in the world but not of it. We get so focused of it that we believe it's true. We believe that all that's going on is real. And it's not. Everything that's going on everyday in your life is somebody's idea of what's happening. Did you ever listen to the pundents on Fox? The pundents on MSNBC? The pundents on CNN? Do you understand that's their opinion? There's no truth in what they're saying basically. It's their opinion of the events that are going on. Right now there's a great drive by a certain group of people in this country to destabilize our economy. To destabilize our government. We actually voted yesterday to eliminate food for 43 million people, 12 million are  children. The rest of the world this morning, if you go on-line, is stunned. The Europeans, Chinese, Australians. You eliminated but you have a 700 Billion Dollar Defense Budget? Now you all know my politics okay? What should we value? Love, generosity of the heart. Compassion should lead your way everyday. Folks I never pretend to be Holier than Thou but there's something  that I've done since I was a little boy. And it came about quite naturally. Nobody told me to do it. It just sort of happened that I did it. Whenever I would be going along on the bus to school, or wherever I was as I grew up in society and I saw somebody that perhaps was sleeping on a piece of cardboard or was obviously in great distress, I would always say: Please God bless that person, bring them food, bring them abundance, show them where they need to be for whatever reason they're in this situation. Give them the light that leads them to the reality that brings them out of this suffering. I've been doing that since I was six years old. And again nobody taught me. Compassion is a natural place in the heart. Did you ever see a baby with his first little kitten or his first little dog? What does he want to do? He wants to hug the animal. Isn't that right Mr. Alfred?

Alfred:
It's just hilarious that no matter what kind of baby it is it could be a Pug, it could be a baby alligator, every type of of baby is just cute. I mean to the point they made a TV program about it - "It's Too Cute".

Hans:
If you have The Animal Channel you need to go there and watch these little animals as they grow up. It's wonderful. Alfred I noticed something with you. Everyone knows your history and all that or most people do. It's quite a wonderful history but did you notice something happened to you when Bella came into your life?

Alfred:
The little princess super model who captured me is with a little animal or any type of animal or pet, you really get to practice compassion. You get to practice unconditional love. And practicing that without any mind chatter, without any thought of "should I be doing this", "should I be giving this much love" which a lot of times we do in human relationships. Can I trust this person? It is an amazing spiritual practice because so many times in our human relationships we judge how much love we should be giving, how much we should trust, how much we should open ourselves up. And with an animal, a pet, you don't have to worry. You can practice unconditional love opening yourself up surrendering into that love connecting to that love.

Hans:
And Alfred that can be a little vulnerable sometimes can't it because a lot of people aren't used to that?

Alfred:
Exactly. It is an amazing feeling to be able to participate in the purity of compassion. The purity of unconditional love. That's spiritual practice. Without having judgment. Without having mind chatter.

Hans:
So what should we really value? That. That. I mentioned this the other day on one of the shows and I said "Did you ever look at a picture of yourself as a baby?" If you don't giggle there's something the matter with you honestly. Look how cute you are. Look at this great innocent budding personality who doesn't have a clue about fear and doubt and money and stock markets. None of that. It just wants to be fed and where's the puppy? That's it. And when it comes down to the end of your life that will still be children all that really mattered. Sometimes gravity and humanness cause things to form much slower for us. And this brings us to a place, to sort of, learn patience. Alfred how are you doing with patience?

Alfred:
Patience is amazing. It is just an unbelievable lesson.  It really is. It is a very difficult lesson but once you get the hang of patience then you realize how much happier and peaceful you become by practicing patience.

Hans:
Yes.

Alfred:
Because we're taught in the Western World that the more have, the quicker you get it, the better you are. We're teaching you the exact opposite. We're teaching you in our lessons the spiritual way to go about things. Which is pretty much domestically opposed the exact opposite of what those of us were taught in the western world. We're taught in the western world if you want to make yourself better to accumulate more, accumulate faster. We're teaching you "Less is More".

Hans:
You know Alfred the inability to see all that is around us tests us to have faith I believe in the unseen. That's a big big topic for a lot of people Alfred. Patience and faith in the unseen.

Alfred:
Faith, Trust and Belief. It's probably one of the most common themes that we talk about is to have faith. That there is organization. There is spirits. There are angels. God does know what's going on.

Hans:
Oh yes.

Alfred:
To have belief.

Hans:
Well they have the other copy of your blueprint - your dharma.

Alfred:
To believe they know your life path. They know your life path even though you don't remember it. To trust that the Universe has your back. Faith, Trust and Belief are very difficult to implement into your daily life but they are fundamental spiritual practices that we do talk about as much as possible.

Hans:
Having faith and trust in the unknown says "I believe...I believe." Our job as spirits in human form are to tell Spirit what we would like the experience of.... to our Highest Good of course. Their job is to present the doors that lead to that reality. And sometimes kids, sometimes we ask for something and for whatever reason there's a delay. What I want to share is the reason for what the delay is. Many times certain things are supposed to happen at a certain time on your journey. And sometimes we try to jump ahead. Like going up a ladder and skipping three rungs. What we forget is, the value is in each rung. So Spirit will back us down again. And then we'll say well then "God must not love me". I asked for it and it didn't show up. Patience. Practice patience. It's a word that I don't happen to like but it's a word that Spirit likes a lot. Alrighty. You know the obvious path to follow, the crowd challenges us to follow what we feel inside. Sometimes society appears like a bunch of lemmings. Here, let's all jump off this cliff because the cliff is there. And by golly everyone else is doing it. Sometimes when we're driving in the car, Alfred is a very good driver, a very good driver. but I watch sometimes he starts to keep up with the cars that are speeding. And when I say to him "Well you know Alfred you're going 10 miles above the speed limit" he says "Well so is everybody else". And I have to remind him that he is not everybody else. You don't like that too well do you?

Alfred:
Well pretty much you can understand that the concept of an old soul is if your life has not fit, if you don't do well trying to follow the social norm, if trying to be like somebody else is not working then you're an old soul. That means you're pretty much destined to find your own path in life.

Hans:
You know there's a lady down in Solita in Mexico just north of Puerto   Vallarta about 40 miles and she was living in this world that was all crazy and she was trying to be a corp exec and she was aging and she said "Oh my goodness I'm getting lines on my face" and she just was not happy. She wasn't being the person that she set out to be. And one day she woke up and she heard an internal voice say "This is not you. Why are you playing at this?" This lady now owns 2 restaurants. Little, like hot dog stands. One in Puerto Vallarta and one in Solita. She makes more money now then she did before and she goes to the beach every day. And she has a life. This is what we're trying to say to you. When our mind chatter overruns our spiritual being and common sense we wind up becoming victims of the appearance of what we call reality. True bliss can be achieved by surrendering into the life of service. Alfred, how would you define service?

Alfred:
Service is giving. It's that simple. It is again the exact opposite of the typical western way of going about finding happiness. And following the teachings in my Spirituality and Career Course we have coming up in Asheville....

Hans:
Do you have a date on that Alfred by any chance?

Alfred:
Yes I do. We'll be talking about that after the teaching.

Hans:
Oh I'm sorry, I'm leaping ahead on you.

Alfred:
No problem. But we do have a course coming up in Asheville. I'll talk about that after the teaching. But anyway one of the main teachings in Spirituality and Career is you have two options. The first option is to work really hard and make a lot of money and then buy as many toys as you possibly can in order to try to achieve happiness. That's pretty much the western way of going about things. That's why we're a consumer society because they have pretty much drilled that into you and Lord knows that's where I came from. The second option is what we try to teach you in a spiritual way. Is do what makes you happy. Do what brings bliss to you. Do what you find is your soul's calling. Do that. And then you will be in bliss. You will be in the flow. You will find doors of opportunity where there weren't (quoting Joseph Campbell). And then simply ask the Universe to give you enough abundance to help support you in that which makes you happy. Now pretty much everybody who follows this path is going to find meaning in true bliss through service. Service is not focusing on you. Focusing on others.

Hans:
You know, the Buddhists say if one person is brought to their enlightenment by an act of yours, your whole dharma has just been validated. That's all you ever need to do. Just one person. We now have 7.3 billion people on earth and if every one each day did one nice thing, smiled, shared some rice, watched a movie together, went for a walk. Can you imagine what this world would look like? What a difference we would have. Inner peace comes from the steadfast belief that the Universe has our back. Of all the things we've discussed today I believe this to be the most important. If you know that no matter what it looks like, no matter how crazy life appears to you if you realize that Spirit actually has your back and whatever is coming by you is only passing by, it has not come to live. Remember that children. The pain, the doubt, the confusion, the fear is mind chatter that is coming to visit. It does not stay. Only Love is real.

Alfred:
And then again this is probably one of the most exact opposites of shall we say typical teachings from the west of how to be happy. It's you're in control. You need to get what's yours. I've got mine. You get yours. Sound familiar? And we're teaching the exact opposite. To surrender. To release control. To say "I don't need to control anything". By being in the flow, that which is for me will be presented to me. These are just really some of the things that we find of what you should really value.

Hans:
Right

Alfred:
Some of the spiritual practices, the directions, the paths in life that you can choose to be blissful to be truly happy.

Hans:
I would like to remind every one that we have... It is not our job on this show to sit here and try to sell you merchandise. That's not what we do. For those of you who wish to continue in the exploration of their spiritual life, their spiritual possibilities, we have over the last 7 years created an enormous amount of information from The Spirit. For everything. There's nothing you can think of that Spirit hasn't addressed in a CD, an MP3 download, nothing - so I encourage you to go and look at the resources available. Not necessarily to get them, but to know they're there for a rainy day and know you can go and pull this out and say "Oh, this pertains to what I'm doing". There's an awful lot of free information. Isn't there Alfred?

Alfred:
There is a lot of free information that we have on hansking.com. Again we try to do our best to be of service to as many people as we possibly can. And on hansking.com we have a huge amount of links under Free Resources - Free Downloads - Free Recordings - Of course our Weekly Free Radio Show - Free Astrology Chart - Free Recommendations - Free Articles for Women - Free Introduction Classes. There's a lot of stuff that we try to give away for free because that's our job, to be of service. However, just like everybody else in the world God hasn't taken away our ability to pay for our utilities and just like every other religion we have to pass the basket just like everybody else. But we don't pass the basket just for the sake of passing it. We just say "Hey, go to our store, look at a particular topic that you like and if you see something that you think would help you...  Sure we just charge a price that helps us keep the radio show going and helps us pay for the products. Now if you happen to be a Spiritual Circle Member another one of the benefits is that you get huge discounts.

Hans:
How big are those discounts? You keep on saying "huge" and I went on-line and looked and you do have "huge" discounts!

Alfred:
Yes

Hans:
You're real close to giving them away.

Alfred:
It's close. If you're a member you get right now, I don't know how long it's going to last for, 80% off. Someday I may go in there and reduce that to something but we love our members because our members support the show with a monthly fee and you can find more about that under Spiritual Community, Spiritual Unfoldment Circle. For $39.00 a month not only do you get the ability to send in topics that we talk about, you can send in a question  each week that Hans and possibly myself will answer each week on air. You get access to over 3 years of Show Archives which are 3 years of spiritual teachings and all of those are described by certain topics and discounts. Yes it is 80% off all audio, video, classes, lessons that we have 80% currently. That's well worth being a member. You even get 10% off any Personal Reading with Hans and people in Asheville may be interested in this, you get access to our Spiritual Bulletin Board. You get to network with other members in your area or other like-minded people and just be part of a Spiritual Community. That's what it's like to be part of the Spiritual Unfoldment Circle. But you do not have to. You can listen to the show free each week, you can get a hold of our free resources, you can tell other people about the free resources and free radio show. It's perfectly fine. Completely up to you.

Hans:
So Alfred, I believe that completes the lesson for today.
